I actually had a great experience at Jiffy Lube in East Meadow. I was hesitant to go there for and oil change and NYS inspection because of past experiences but was pleasantly surprised. Many changes have taken place since my last visit. You no longer feel pressured into purchasing a new $50 air filter or cabin filter or any other item in addition to what you initially came in for. The service was fast and friendly, the price was right and I was handed the reminder sticker instead of having it stuck onto my windshield. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend Jiffy Lube for your next oil change or inspection. I guess corporate finally realized that pressuring customers into buying services that are not wanted or needed was a bad idea.
The East Meadow team is always on point when it comes to making sure all aspects of my car that they handle are handled with care and in a fast manner. They all respect the customer. Nice to see that there is a nice group of people working there. Will keep my car with these guys as long as they keep up the great work that they are doing day in and day out. Been taking my cars here for years, but starting to get way over priced for oil changes, which no longer includes a full car wash inside and out. For the money they charge, a full car wash should be FREE!
This Jiffy Lube site is the best in the Area. They run the shop like the military manages a fighting platoon.I will continue to use this location
They take their time. I waited 45 minutes on line with 1 car in front of me for an oil change which takes no more than 15 minutes. Guys were walking around as if they had nothing to do but they had 5 other cars that came right after me and they have 3 lanes there its not like they have to do one at a time with 4 employees there when i went. Most annoying part is they dont keep track of who came first they just take you randomly if your line is ready so 2 people that came 10 minutes after me in other lanes were done before me. So from the time i waited till i left it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get in and have my oil change done. Im glad they took that long because now i know to never come back or recommend anyone to this location.
Always get my cars oil change from here. nice staff, quick service. My cars battery died once while getting an oil change. Staff member brought his own car to the front to jump start mine! Thank you for your service gentlemen! will surely be coming back
I went to this Jiffy Lube waited for 30 min to get my car into a bay for a oil change after I spoke to an employee. Another customer pulls up after me and they just forgot me and pulled them into a empty bay. I sat for another 15 min and then drove off I will not be bring my vehicle back here customer service is the worst.
I have had good experiences at Jiffy Lube everyone is respectful and kind. The price of an oil change on my car is a little steep but you do get more miles in between oil changes which is nice because since my commute to work is longer I rack up the miles pretty quickly so I cant complain that much since I dont have to get an oil change every month and a half I just hope that the oil actually holds up for as many miles as they say.
7 people working just Standing around just staring into the lobby for 15 mins . Not one asked how can I help you. They need some customer service training. Need to be attentive to your client right from the start.
I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Ultra convenient. The service was good and it was inexpensive. Definitely recommend for our busy lifestyles.

Friday August 2 2019 brought my 04 Toyota Highlander basic oil change and noticed from previous service from this location oil 1.0 qt low and leaking??!! Well as of yesterday noticed oil residue near drain plug area. Brought car to my mechanic and noticed drain plug not tightened properly.This may explain why I had loss of oil during past 2 visits. Mechanic properly tightened drain plug let sit for 1/2 hr also checked drain pan to make sure no other leaks present took car for ride no further leaks.At least oil filter was put on correct. I will never go back to this place they nearly cost me issues with my car if I had not noticed this. Spoke with Leah service mgr and going to request credit on this job.Folks be aware ck your oil level and ck for oil spots if you go here. Not cool!

I normally go to a regular mechanic to get an oil change which would cost me close to 90 dollars. I was kind of in a rush and didnt wanna go to my regular mechanic so I said why not. Surprisingly I got an oil change Rather quick. For under $60.

So bad at upselling its pathedic. Only go here if you know what you want. Dont trust there low antifreeze speel.... i litlery topped mine off the dsy before and was told i was low and needed a flush. After bringing that to their attention they acted as if they ment it just needed to be topped off for 5 bucks... i told them to change my oil and ill. Ever go back

Horrible Service and Horrible staff.This location used to be a good location but people working there now have no idea how to give good Service at all. People waiting too long and employees using cell phones while dealing with engine. I am not going there again.
My experience was fine but I do have one complaint. Literally everytime I go for an oil change, the mechanic tried to nickel and dime me. On my last visit, a simple oil change cost me $71 for the oil change, air filter and wipers. The wipers were way too expensive. I could have gone to Walmat and paid half the price.
Stopped for an oil change on my way from work... Extremely friendly and courteous staff.. Made sure I knew that my car used synthetic oil and when I was told my filters needed to be changed, I was shown MY filters. The staff DID NOT try to pressure me into any service that I did not want.. Thank you East Meadow Jiffy Lube.
We waited for about 20 minutes, and wasnt asked by any of the three people working if we needed help or were already being helped. In fact, I stepped up to the counter, the employee behind the counter said excuse me sir, but let me just take care of this gentlemen first and when he was done, walked away. When he came back he looked through me as if I was a ghost! Terrible service. Im heading to the jiffy lube down the street.
Failed inspection and came back 14 days later. They wanted to charge me again since it wasnt within 10 days. They arent supposed to charge you again, as long as its within 30 days, as it says in the picture of the paperwork they gave me. So I ended up having to pay for inspection TWICE. I went to Mavis instead cause theres no way I was paying them again.
Took it in for a regular oil change. I use the high mileage oil and have been going to Jiffy Lube for years, so I know what to expect. When it comes to them trying to nickel and dime you, I used to feel the same way. Then I realized its part of what they do. Theyre not in business to fix cars, they pride themselves on SERVICING cars so they dont need to be fixed as much. Once I understood that, I began paying attention to when my car has had a particular sercive done, so I can tell them if I need their help or not. This location seems fine, but the BEST Jiffy Lube Ive been to is the Floral Park location on the border of Queens and Long Island. Hope this helps someone.

I had to wait 2 hours for an inspection. I wasnt warned that it would take that long. I wouldnt go to this location again for an inspection.
The workers gave .e. Bill and I paid. After they pulled my car out of shop I noticed deflated tire still there, they didnt check pressure of tires or vacuum although on bill it stated they did. Now Im skepticles if they changed filter and actually put synthetic oilI have no way of knowing if they completely ripped me off.
I have never had a problem, the people who work there are all professional and friendly, its quick and easy.

2022-07-09Super quick, friendly and efficient staff!!! Wait times for service (I came for an oil change) were shorter than I anticipated, despite coming on a busy Saturday. All in all, this location exceeded my expectations. Im visiting from out of state, but If Im on Long Island and need an oil change Ill definitely be getting it done here again. 2022-03-04It turned out to be the most expensive oil change I’ve ever received in my life! The price they initially quoted me was not the price at the end. First they told me I needed synthetic oil and then they told me I needed more than 5 quarts and that’s why the price was so high. And to make matters worse they never even reset the change oil light so I had to come back for them to do so. Will never use Jiffy Lube again

2021-09-16I need to correct this review. There was a misunderstanding on what type of filter I was requesting. Jiffy Lube had a guest relations manager call me and after a few minutes he realized what the confusion was. I did receive the service I asked for, and it was my confusing an air filter for an oil filter that led to my confusion. I humbly apologize to Jiffy Lube for the erroneous review.I asked for oil change and air filter. Sitting in car its hard to see, but I could tell my filter wasnt replaced. I asked the girl and she said its done underneath. Ok, I thought. Then I get the bill in my email. Im not charged for the filter, only the oil change. I didnt see until later since I was only emailed a bill, not given one as usual. they also usually give a car wash and that wasnt happeneing either, I guess because I wasnt given a physical invoice. I dont like being lied to. If something happens to my car because of a dirty filter, are they going to fix it?

2021-10-25THEY ARE TRYING TO ROB YOU OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!! DO NOT GO TO JIFFYLUBEI brought in my brand new 2020 Honda Civic for a simple oil change. I never had any issues on the vehicle and its was only around 15K miles when i brought it in, drove great. 3 months after the oil change the engine blows. I am not a car guy so i send it to Honda, where it is still under warranty. Honda let me know that whoever did the oil change left my oil drain plug lose and it fell off while i was driving, thus blowing the engine.For 2 weeks they were impossible to speak with. This morning i got a call saying its not their fault, they want me to pay for all damages, and they never touched the oil drain plug, they used a special tool.That is a bold faced lie and now i will find myself in court with them. As a fellow consumer i swear to god nobody touched the car outside of jiffylube in those 3 months, now due to what should be a simple oil change, they are trying to make me pay thousands.Worst part is the more i tell this story the more common it seems. I have had a few people hear the story and guess that i went to Jiffylube, because nobody else would have this problem. I beg you for yourself, use midas, pep boys, mavis, ANYTHING BUT JIFFYLUBE. it was convenient for me so i used them, take my advice on that being an unnecessary risk.***DO NOT USE - WILL TRY AND ROB YOU IF THEY MAKE A MISTAKE, WHICH VERY POSSIBLY CAN HAPPEN DUE TO THEIR AMATEUR AND UNDERPAID MECHANICS*****ps this is the first review i have ever written, this isnt something i do frequently but these thieves needs to be put out of business.

2021-10-16NEVER GO HERE. Pulled in and waited 40 minutes patiently to then be told to move to a longer line because there was a woman complaining that they were going to move ahead of me to appease her. I left instead and then went to valvoline and found out that jiffy lube didn’t put the cap on correctly last time and my car had been leaking oil because of them. Terrible.
