Had a friend pick up 2 stinger wraps and asked for lettuce tomato and onion and I received 1 wrap with grilled chicken and 1 with chicken finger, grilled onions but no lettuce and tomatoes. Had more meat in it than other locations, however the sauce wasn’t the same balance as other locations.

LOVE Jims Steakout. Before i got back home i always stop here and wegmans for all my Buffalo Stuff before I go home. The food is always amazing. Clean space and follows CoVid19 rules. Couldnt be happier or feel more safe. If Jims ever opens a location in Denver Ill be so stoked. But this place is A+ all around.
Ive only had the veggie Hoagie from the location on Main Street but it was amazing! Ive gone there twice now within a week after getting the first one. They are very respectful there. Especially working such late-night hours. Definitely recommend!PS... last few times I went something fun happens if you tip them at the Main Street location :)
First time here. Good place and good food. Tried the new chicken and waffle thing. Its honestly really good. The waffle is sweet and has caramelized sugar throughout and the sauce they give you is thinker so it sticks on the samwhich better. Its also on the hot side of you wanna compliment the waffle sweetness.
My $72 order was made all wrong. I ordered plain taco it had hot sauce instead. I ordered a steak sub with just cheese mayo extra steak and I got a tiny bit of steak a d two handfuls of onions...no steak sauce on the side either or double steak. I ordered a second steak sub with cheese mayo and extra steak and guess what I didnt get no double steak and also no side of steak sauce. They are over priced and cant make the food right. And when I call repeatedly no one seems to answer to I contacted door dash whom I ordered from and they actually gave me a full refund even though they shouldnt be held liable for the food that was made wrong when door dash didnt make it they simply diver. I didnt like that, even though I called in my order, I still had to wait 15 minutes in the drive through lane to pick up my order. I am having issues walking so thats why I like the convenience of the drive through. The least they could have done is to bring my order to my car instead of me having to go into the restaurant to pick it up.
Ordered here for the first time and never will go back. The food was greasy and oily. I ordered two steak hoagies and they were drenched in oily the bread was soggy and honestly just disgusting. The large fry is more like an extra small, I can’t imagine how the small fry is. It was a waste of money, if I could give zero stars I would. The inside of the building was unorganized and just dirty. Don’t go here, go spend your money else where and get a good meal
Avoid this place. Was first in line with nobody else in the restaurant. Waited 35min for our food! They will prepare all the doordash food first and let you stand there forever. They also never refunded me for fries I did not order when she said she did. A month later and its still not credited to my card. The food was so saturated it was gross. A big globby mess.
Placed an order for 8pc chicken finger. I asked for the fries on the side cause they always seem to get the sauce all over them. They didn’t understand what I was saying before you know it I had an extra order of poutine fries. I just wanted the the food so I didn’t say anything. They ended up giving me the smallest fingers I have ever seen and they shorted me a finger also. I tried calling but they must have caller id. They put me on hold for ten minutes then I hung up. NOBODY GOTO THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE
Always messes up our order. 3rd time in a row both subs again not prepared as ordered. Will never order from this location again. Ordered ahead online, got there at time I was told it would be ready but it wasn’t. Was busy, understandable and I’m not unreasonable but to wait almost 10 minutes extra AND the food was wrong did it for me.
Yesterday was the first time at Jims in over a year. Iwas starving because of a fasting medical test. I went out of my way to choose Jims steakout over Mighty. I tried to order 2 items but was not able to because they didnt have raw onions, so I was limited to items that only had fried onions. Someone couldnt make a grocery store run for a bag of onions??? Total B.S.!!! Management just plain SUCKS!!!
Would give it 0 if I could. 90% of the time you order, be sure it will be wrong. No matter how many times you repeat your order, it will be wrong. Receipt ill say right food, youll get wrong food. Ordering over phone is a nightmare! Always has been. Wait,, and then they can never understand. Sadly lost a customer for good. Visited for the first time in years, and it was better in my memories. Service was good, very friendly and it was ready in a snap. Seems like the ingredients went downhill. Steak meat was fatty and gristly. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and helpful though, dont want to discount that fact.
I dont stop often (a little out of the way) but the food is always good. My brothers birthday was today and I told him I would buy dinner . He tried to call but said that he couldnt get through. I stopped in and the place was extremely busy, as usual, and Brittney asked if she could help me. Brittney is the reason for the review! I usually dont do reviews but the way she handled this fast paced environment and the level of customer service she provided is something that you dont see very often anymore. I hope you pay her well and you have more like her working for you
I am a doordash driver this place is fast and friendly. Always have orders ready. And if the order is not ready its less than a 2 minute wait each time. Now as a customer. I love their subs and hoagies. I have had pretty much everything on the menu. Never disappointed. You guys rock keep doing what youre doing youre doing a great job. Also to the closing manager on March 18th 2021. Your team rocks you guys made a great sandwich.
Messed up my order again, waited in drive-thru almost 30 minutes late at night. Not even close to dinner. They are slammed with the lazy grub hub or whatever it is that they cant take care of reg. Customers.Gone way down hill since the old owner passed away a few years ago.
I always wondered how a sub shop could keep a drive thru line moving at a reasonable pace. This location answered my question: they cannot! Even pre Covid, this drive thru was always a half hour wait. Now? What a joke! And owner, please dont ask me for a date and check number, because the last time I tried to place an order, I never even got it; and ended up driving away. That will be my last visit to that half- baked location. Avoid!
Along with most of the recent reviews I see, I waited over 40 minutes for one sub, and one small taco. When I finally got it, the sub wasnt even wrapped properly and only about half of it was actually on the roll. The only saving grace was who I think was the manager was very friendly. That doesnt make up for the amount of time required for the product that was put out.
West Seneca location really needs to get there act together, I’ve had nothing but issues from this location. Orders are never done when they say they are going to be done it’s always 10 to 20 minutes longer than they say. Also they have a drive thru but if you pull up and order anything they tell you it’s going to be a 35+ minutes... What is the point of having a drive thru order option then? The Food is always good and orders are always correct I will give them that but every other inconvenience / issue that could possibly happen does every time. Sad because I never had issues like this with the East aurora location.
Ordered a sub for delivery from a delivery app. They only put the meat and cheese on the bun. No sauce or anything else. It was the worst sub I’ve ever had. Couldn’t get a full refund because I used the app too. Won’t be returning to this location since they are unable to even make their own food as described.
Its been awhile since I visited or ate at Jims Steakout. I went there for lunch and had the Philly steak hoagie with an ice tea and a cookie.Hoagie was well made with chopped steak, onions, peppers, cheese and topped with their steak sauce on a wheat hoagie toasted.It was worth the price.Free parking as well handicap. Handicap entrance. Staff is friendly and their menu offers other food items as well. Good place for families
I have tried to order serveral times by calling the number listed online. I thought maybe the number had heen changed. One day I decided to come in after this happened and noticed that the staff was so busy that they were just letting the phone ring over and over. It was not the staffs fault, they were obviously working as hard as they possibly could. It seems they need workers badly. They are losing out on so much business!
Was dissatisfied with the food. The sandwich had no seasoning, the online menu is super complicated and vast instead of being streamed line by type of item and then broken down by size, it is all listed separately took me over 20 minutes to review the menu in order to actually select something. Their to go operations needs a little refining as well upon arriving at home it was just a mess if a sandwich.
Always loved this place, delicious food. Went 5 days ago and the worst subs ever! The grease leak in to my carseat, they were not good. The toppings were wrong and I didnt order a greasy soggy mess and the steak sub didnt even have the cheese on it. There hit and miss, but this was a hot mess
This location is so slow. I understand we all have to be patient but I put an online order in today. Was 40 minutes to pick up time. Arrived on time. 50 minutes later food was ready. 50 minutes! Hour and half to get a sub order done. Pre Corona waited 40 minutes ordering in person. I will now avoid this location at all costs.
After waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes I finally went in to be ignored. I called someone over to cash me out. I get they are busy but they need a system in place. You need to make the food but you also need someone to be on top of getting the food out. Needless to say my food was cold by the time I got home.I ordered the Frenchy and the flavor was there BUT, its not great when Im pulling so many chuncks of unchewable grizzle out of my mouth. I would say 50% of the sub was grizzle.
I love Jims, and not just for drunken late night foraging. This location, however, has the least efficient, most lifeless and listless crew I have ever encountered at ANY restaurant. Its not out of the question to sit in the drive thru lane for up to 20 minutes, no matter if its 11am or 11pm. It would behoove Jims to maybe get a decent manager to this restaurant as soon as possible to get the place under control. The food is fine... But the service leaves a terrible taste in my mouth every time.
Waited 20 mins in the drive thru. Seem to prioritize Online Orders over people at the location.Ordered a 12 Sub and Hot Peppers. Got everything home grease is leaking through everything didnt double wrap the sub. Meat in the sub is luke warm the cheese inside didnt even melt. Hot Peppers where flavorful but again cold. Its not complicated this place needs to get there act together.UpdateIve been back since and it has been better.
Do not order online. Awful experience. Takes forever. The entire system makes no sense. A business with a drive through should be able to get your order done in a timely fashion. This did not happen and the employees could do nothing to rectify the situation. I had no way to cancel the order and was told to come back in 20 minutes. Totally unprofessional and a huge disappointment!

I dont like leaving negative reviews but they deserve it. I placed an online order for pick up and paid, I drove from Boston ny and go to pick it up and they say the order just showed up, I have to wait 20 minutes. Why have an option for pre order pick up if they arent going to abide by it.
Because of the current state of the country/world wait time increased significantly. That didnt bother me at all, we waited patiently and watched as other customers became agitated or were rude to the workers. Once we got our food the worker told me she added an extra side for our wait. It was an unnecessary gesture, but was appreciated nonetheless. BE KIND TO FAST FOOD WORKERS. They are doing the best they can. Will 100% return to this location in the future :)
30 minute wait in the drive-thruMy Wife and I constantly come here to eat. Last night we decided to go through the drive-thru. It had to have been at least half an hour waiting for our food. Watching through the take-out window, we could see the employees preparing a lot of food that was just sitting on the counter waiting for online order pickups.I think it is completely unacceptable to take care of online orders while making all of your customers that are there wait an extended period of time to be served.
I ordered from DoorDash and it came both cold and burnt. Probably the most disgusting food I’ve ever had the displeasure of tasting. I will not order from here again as this is the SECOND time that this location has screwed up. Not only was it cold but it also came over an hour late.
There were so many choices! The cashier was beyond friendly, as was the kitchen staff suggesting what I could have, that was not exactly on menu but they tailored it to my liking. It was absolutely incredible! I was stunned at how much steak was on my hoagie, and they all made my visit fun! Everything tasted very fresh and Ill definitely be back!
Jims steakout is the place to go if you are really hungry and looking for a delicious sub or some boneless wings. The poutine fries are amazing as well. We like the restaurant in West Seneca. Its always clean and the staff is pretty great as well. Overall you cannot go wrong. Love the Jefferson, with banana peppers and no onions of course.
I was reminded tonight why we do not frequent this establishment. Order placed at 6:23PM. After pacing around for 20 minutes and having my 20month old start freaking when the couple who came in after us received their order a gentleman finally came to the counter and asked me what I was waiting on and told me its been ready for a while, just sitting here like it wasnt something to worry about. Still very disappointing experience every time we decide to give a chance.
Arrived when online order was notified ready, employee at counter ask what my order was , stated my name and they told me they were working on it, it was busy so I understood until 25 minutes later a different employee asked what my order was stated my name and my order had been ready for 25 minutes sitting on the counter , food was cold and was prepared terribly and my stinger wrap was missing the chicken finger and I never got my steak sauce for my Philly fries.
Great food but they need a serious overhaul with ordering and wait times. If you call in the evening you are lucky to get through and when you get there to pick up your food from the drive-thru you still spend 10-15 minutes in a line of cars. Seems like those who are ordering in the drive thru lane should be asked to pull aside do those of us who bothered to call ahead can get our orders in a timely manner.
This is the third time i have ordered, and paid, for food online at this place only to show up and they dont have it. This chain is usually pretty good, but considering how dirty this store is, its probably a local problem.Get a new manager and we will start eating here again.
This is the first and last time here. My son got chicken finger sub looked great. I got a steak and cheese sub that was nothing but a greasy mess. It was cold I asked for mayo no sauce got both. I spent 25 bucks for lunch. I threw mine out. Whats worse is when we were waiting. I guy walked in said his order was wrong and cold. After they fixed his sent him on his walk call came in saying 5th heir order was wrong.
Great subs, great Poutine fries, nice people working there. The website glitched and erased my order, so I called and placed the order over the phone. They were very busy but still got our order right! The chicken in the grass is really good, the Philly cheese steak too. If you order the chicken finger sub, its very saucy and messy so you may want a knife and fork... and definitely dont get it for a road trip! (It is super delish tho) :)
Upon getting here I counted 8 ppl in the kitchen area, It took at least 3 minutes of me waiting at the counter for someone to contact me. The cashier was very polite and explained the potential combo I could be getting with my order so thats one positive about my visit. After placing my order I then proceeded to wait currently 26 minutes for my food. Multiple ppl who ordered after me have their food, and no they werent pickups or ppl who called ahead, I listened to them order and then watched them served their food. One guy who ordered the same sub as me after me has already eaten his food and left. Ive been coming here since they opened this location years ago and the level of service varies so much. Ive worked in and managed pizzarias (just pizza) before and I know rough time estimates of how long it takes to make different items, shouldnt take this long to make a steak sub and a side of poutine. Just a quick edit took 30 minutes for me to get my food. Honestly thats unacceptable. Fries were cold and soggy sub was warm but definitely not fresh, calling back to have my order remade.
Got a Jims Blue and 2 chicken finger wraps. The chicken on everything was hard as a rock and was overall very unappetizing. it was either old chicken or over cooked. Went back to complain and get a refund and was directed to call the office number to request it as they couldnt do a refund for an online order. This location was great for many years, but after today we wont be going back there again.
Just like many other reviews, I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and ended up giving up. I tried calling back FOUR TIMES and it was either a busy signal or was just put on hold for another 10 minutes.This happened another time two or three weeks ago as well. On 04/13/2020 we ordered 4 different sandwiches .The steak hoagy was not chopped nearly enough . I ordered hot peppers and got pepper rings also not cook and chopped .by not being chopped enough it was like eating leather .also i order it with no jims sauces and it was soaked . two of the other three sandwiches . were the same way the other was a hamburger was all right . This was at the west Seneca site .I used to go to there shops in Buffalo and were always great . I dont want to here you are overwhelmed with orders that no excuse.
I ordered food through Grub Hub for the first time and my food was hot and delivered fast, my problem is I ordered it with NO ONIONS and it came with a lot of onions. Even the receipt that is stapled to the bag says No Onion. Im very upset and disappointed that they put on onions even though they were told specifically not to.
I LOVE THIS PLACE .Used to do there deliverys for them the staff was all grate there was one time an employee would always start problems . ONE employee who dus not work there any longer .FOOD ALWAYS EXACTLY THE WAY YOU EXPECT FROM JIMS. One of my favorite Jims out there .
Went in yesterday for the chicken hoagie, its been awhile since I have been to Jims since they closed the East Aurora location. All I can say is very very disappointed! Chicken was dry the hot peppers were an afterthought not cooked at all I asked for mushrooms which were cold not cooked just tossed on after. To pay over $12.00 for such disgusting food is a disgrace. Oh Well time to find somewhere else for a hoagie fix.
The food is fantastic, but there were used hypodermic needles in the womens bathroom which really makes me question the health standards at this restaurant. (Edit: An employee found the needles and Immediately notified her supervisor, and they took care of the problem)
Jims is always a pain when getting food. They are NEVER fast. Ask anyone whose waited in there car for 45 minutes. But it was always worth the wait in the end for the delicious steak and cheese sub or the frenchi or the stinger or whatever wonderful choice you made....until lately. The last few times Ive gone Ive been very disappointed and felt bamboozled for waiting so long for a subpar sub.
$36 (not including the tip) for two subs, two orders of fries and an order of mozzarella sticks, which normally is worth it because I usually love their food. However, half way into the first half of my sub I lost my appetite once I found a long brown hair in it. Totally turned me off from eating anymore. Not to mention, grossed me out so much pulling a piece of someone else’s hair out of my mouth that I threw up. So aggravated after spending that much on dinner and not being able to eat it. Extremely disappointed and when stuff like this happens, it stops me from returning because it’s all I can remember about a place. Nowadays, you’re better off just staying home and cooking. Nothing but disappointment.😩 Maybe food places should reinforce hairnets.
Love their tuna sub, it was not overloaded with mayonnaise. The tuna sub actually had celery and onion mixed in. This made the sub taste good. The turkey sub was made with smoked turkey. Rolls fresh as was the lettuce, tomato and onions. Definitely a place that I will be returning to.
Yummy! Love me some Diavlo sub!!! Im sure Im wrong how I am explaining it as a sub but it really is the best one! My boyfriend has somehow managed to get me this particular Sub a few times since we live so far away, and its the best ever! It is a shame we do not live closer! I would literally be eating there every day!
This one looked a little dingy and dirty compared to the others. The service was really slow and the man didnt have a beard guard. They had hats on but no hair nets and their ponytails hanging out. The food was good but the place was dirty-looking and I will go to other locations from now on.
I never knew what Jim steakhouse was until I came to Buffalo New York! The steak sandwiches are huge and they are so freaking tasty! if youre looking for a good steak sandwich late night and no one else is open you can definitely go to Jims steakhouse to grab you a nice steak sandwich and they will make it exactly how you like it! This is one of my childrens favorite places to get steak sandwiches from
I love Jims Steakout, especially my precious Turkey Club. Its one of the top 10 things I missed when I moved away from Buffalo, but now Im back and loving them again. But on this particular visit, they gave me a dose of those nasty, evil, slimy things known as tomatoes when I said I didnt want them. So I went back and gave my best pouty face, and they made it right.
Lunch,dinner or even after a night on the town. You cant go wrong with some delicious subs from Jims. Me personally Id get a stinger sub every time , well not every time because sometimes I go with a classic chicken finger sub but anything those taste buds are craving jims will be sure to satisfy them.If I could give 5 thumbs up, I would but I only have 2.
Good, fast service. The manager seemed to be on the phone yelling at an unruly customer while I was picking up my food. Since I have worked in customer service before, I know for a fact that the customer is NOT always right, and she handled herself well. Props to her.
Im giving the West Seneca location only 2 stars because of the terrible customer service I received when I called to place an order. He barely said hello, and never said thank you. I had to ask him how long and then he just hung up.If this is acceptable work ethics for this location then I think we will find some other place to eat.Im not really sure how someone who sounds completely illiterate actually got a job working with the public!!! Because he shouldnt be allowed to interact with people.
Seneca st location has to be the filthiest most rundown of all the jims. Dont know how the health inspectors allow this location to stay in business absolutely disgusting. Reflects on the quality of food coming out of this location or I should say lack of quality. Will not again ever give this location my business. Will be continually in contact with the board of health until this place closes or cleans up it act. The shame of West Seneca.
Dont go often but when i do its after work around 1130pm midnight and everytime i try to call ahead but no one answers the phone. order there and theyre always short staffed so theres alot of people waiting and i end up wasting about 45 minutes. The foods usually pretty good though.
Getting worse and worse with every visit... I swear they water down the Jims Sauce at this location.. if you order an 8 or 12 hoagie you are going to receive the same amount of meat regardless of size, only difference is on an 8 you will have equal amounts of meat to roll.. on a 12 there are about 2 and a half inches of meatless roll on each side.. And as usual, I asked to have both halves of a 12 hoagie wrapped separately. This time the bearded girl working said she would see to it that it is done.. got home, it wasnt.. Its the small simple things like this that the simpletons that work there can not figure out.. Called, spoke to the manager, and I could have held a better conversation with a wall...You really need to straighten your act up Jims ! Clean House and Start Over !
One of the few places in West Seneca to stay open late (besides Ebenezer Ale House), Jims offers tacos, hoagies, subs, and burgers. Its menu is not confusing and their food is popular as well. Their famous 12 steak hoagie (cheese, secret sauce, lettuce, onions, tomato, mayo) without fries and a drink is $11.89 (roughly $14 with the sides) and takes 10-15 minutes to prepare. It is conveniently located across from the Southgate Plaza. The interior is clean and has a prize machine. Service is prompt and you can earn discounts on food if you use their card when you pay. Their poutine fries dont use cheese curds like some places in downtown Buffalo and across the border but are a decent side dish. I would definitely choose Jims over McDonalds for quality and service and over Wendys for price. It is tastier than Subway but a little pricier. Overall it is a great, reliable bet for comfort food if you want to stay in West Seneca.

2022-03-24I wish I could give them 1/2 star. Customer service is lousy. I ordered & paid online. People were in the drive up ordering. I pulled up to the window to pick up my food and the kid at the window told me next time I need to wait in line behind all the people ordering. Then he tells me thats what his manager said. My food was ready. Why would I wait behind all the orders waiting to be made? Youve lost my business!

2022-05-21What happened to the food ? I used to get the best Steak Subs in Buffalo here. I recently bought three subs and it was terrible. The meat was stringy and not chopped up. It was very tough to chew and was like a piece of rawhide. I guess I am going to have to spend my money elsewhere.

2022-06-18The night of taste of country, they were busy. I ordered at 12 minutes after midnight. They lost my order internally somehow so they started over when they found their mistake. It was already a 45 minute wait time. Now leaving at 10 after 1:00. Damn near an hour and their apology was a chocolate chip cookie. Not impressed

2022-06-06My fiancé gets sick every time she eats at this location. I never got sick until last time I ate there & it was pretty bad. Otherwise food is generally satisfactory enough for me and staff is decent. Really nothing to write home about, I recommend trying a different location.

2022-04-27I will not be ordering from here again. The bacon was burnt on the two items. The bacon ranch wrap had no ranch. I asked for ranch to be substituted on two items, and i got blue cheese instead, so gross! And I ordered the chicken fingers garlic parm and hot, i got all hot! My 4 yr old wasnt happy to say the least. The meat was all overcooked and hard/dry from being cooked too long. Im not happy about spending money on such poor quality food. Its been years since Ive ordered from them. Not impressed, at all.

Unfortunately my order last night was poorly made, inaccurate and overall did not taste very well. The bag when I picked my food up was covered in grease stains that left a mark in my vehicle. When I opened my taco, no sour cream which I ordered. The taco was doused in mild sauce the made it messy to eat to the point where they taco fell out staining my shirt and pants. Hopefully this is a bad isolated incident and not a sign of what it has become !!!

2022-04-05Made a large order for pickup, got there on time only for them to hand just the subs over. Missing all the extras drinks and few other items. Show them that my order is not complete and the guy behind the counter gets a huge attitude. Fast forward to now getting home for the family to enjoy the meal - every singe sub was thrown together and nothing more then a huge mess. Looked awful, tasty mediocre and definitely not worth the time and frustration.

2022-05-28I got a taco and it was disgusting, way to filled it wasn’t even closed it was spilling in the bag, none of my add one were inside and it was soggy and gross. The rest of my order was okay but wouldn’t recommend the tacos

2022-04-18I dont know why but lately its just not what it used to be. Got a steak hoagie today that was sooooo tasteless no seasoning at all and barely enough sauce. So this is the third time in the last 5 or 6 months Ive ordered from them and Im just gonna find another place
