Ive been going here since I was in HS. I LOVE this place. My family and I recently had breakfast here, and although it was busy, the wait wasnt long. The staff is friendly and accommodating; Management checked in on tables, you can see the teamwork amongst all staff. One of the staff members came over to my sister, apologized, and asked if she needed the high chair back because he noticed she was standing with the baby for a while. Like who does that any more? Truly amazing 🥰
The staff are amazing and I love sitting outside. The price of the quiche was great. Good portions. I got the chicken bacon broccoli quiche and salad. Salad was fresh and crispy but the quiche was terrible. It was so full of things that I didnt taste any egg. The chicken and broccoli needed to be cut up more so not to bite big chunks. It was so dry and no flavor. I poured on Franks, salt and pepper. Plus is was over cooked. The crust was so hard. I absolutely would try them again.
We were visiting RIT and looking for cool places to eat and see where locals may hang out. The menu was very big with lots to choose from. The service was very good. We went on a very busy day and were seated pretty quickly considering. Everyone was very nice. I went to try the chicken and waffles. There were many reviewers stating that they were the “best they ever had”. I disagree with these reviewers. The chicken and waffles were very average best. My daughter really liked her Florentine eggs Benedict. Said it was better than average. Overall it was a good experience and if I lived here I may try other items of the menu.
When I see long menus at places it makes me nervous - how can you do so many things well? I ponder. This time my expectations were exceeded. I ordered the Orange Marmalade Stuffed French Toast - my server told me that is what always brought her to Jines before she worked here. It was delicious! You can get maple syrup as a side, which is well worth the extra $1.50.My brother was also with me and he got a Frittata, which was also delicious. We enjoyed our outdoor seating and the service was friendly and prompt.
How can you not like Jines? They have plenty of choices and the food is scrumptious with reasonable prices. The service was very good and I like the location. Give it a try! Update: went again and a picture of the entree I ordered is pictured. Its one of their many chicken and pasta dinners. It was delicious 😋!
If I wanted scrambled eggs I would have simply ordered it! Not sure who they have working in their kitchen but this is NOT the omelette that I ordered nor have I been getting over the past year. I order a veggie omelette very often from this place and every time was great; you know perfectly cooked egg stuffed with veggies and cheese topped with hollandaise sauce😋. Well some inexperienced fool decided to SCRAMBLE my eggs, over cooking the veggies and then adding cheese to the middle and folding it as if they did a job well done! And to top it off there was no hollandaise sauce in sight! If I want a mediocre “omelette “ that’s scrambled I could’ve went to any other diner, because that sees to be what they’re all doing…..I come to this place specifically because they seemed to be the only ones that knew how to make an authentic in rushed omelette. Not only did I have to endure this deplorable slop whomever I spoke with over the phone was rude about it, saying that I should have “specified” how I wanted it cooked! As if I need to tell a restaurant how to properly prepare something that they had been doing right until now. NEVER AGAIN will I patron this place.UPDATE: It was properly redone and the employees were awesome about it when I got there. Thank you!
This place is great! The owner & manager & their staff are all professional & courteous! I felt very comfortable there. The food is scrumptious, freshly made, and with overly generous portions. Not expensive either! A wonderful place to eat, relax, & rejuvenate. My friend & I saw the manager down the street afterward & told him how impressed we were with the experience, & he told us about how they make things. Very reassuring & uplifting. He is proud of his job & of Jines. I just went back there in 2/19. Again, consistently great food! big portions for not big prices. The waitress was fun & friendly. The bussers were also nice. The staff seemed to be happy, which makes for a good atmosphere. The patrons were all smiling & also happy. The whole place has a good vibe. I will go back again when Im in town. Its worth it!
Great brunch spot! Outdoor seating is super nice, they have lots of space inside but theyre always busy, so be prepared to wait a little if theyre super busy! Their menu is huge, so youre bound to find at least 10 things youd like to order. This is why my friends and I normally order multiple things so we can try them all, and take some home.
My husband and I chose to have Jines cater for our post-wedding breakfast. Such a great decision! It was super stress free, as it was all delivered to our home the morning of the event. The food was hot when it arrived and packaged ready to be placed out for guests. The food was SO good, especially the french toast, bacon and the croissants! Aside from catering, we go to Jines often and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!!
We visited here after touring the George Eastman Museum. What a great place!!! Everything was top notch: the service, the food, and the overall experience could not have been better. We were so impressed to see the owner checking on customers and cleaning tables. Leadership through example! Our server was wonderful and attentive. Lunch was delicious and hot. Have absolutely no complaints, only high praise. Also loved the overall vibe of the neighborhood. Nice walk from the museum. We are vacationing from Virginia and this will hold a special memory. Thank you!
I have been going to Jines for over 20 years and its just not as good as it used to be. My favorite item was the humus pita sandwich, which is now more of a wrap than a pita sandwich. The last year or so it has been on a cold, not fresh tasting pita, it was previously warmed up. The whole sandwich is full of veggies with only about a tablespoon if humus. It was spread so thin, it looked like buttered bread. I been disappointed.the last
Grubhubed the chicken and waffles in the early morning and it sent me to er for about 6 hours with a stomach bug. The food must’ve been sitting out for a while or old bc I’ve had this dish before and was fine but a few hours after I ate it yesterday, the worst imaginable stomach pain and vomiting started. Even water was hard to keep down.
Went there in late afternoon. They serve breakfast all day - best part. Service was amazing, would definitely go here again, they have outdoor sitting, food options are great too. We had pita and humnus, soup, falafel sandwich, shrimp pasta, benedicts and pancakes. Pasta was delicious and so was the strawberry pancakes cooked with blueberries inside.California benedicts was the highlight for me
Great first impressions, and extremely welcoming staff. No lunch hour wait and our food arrived in a timely manner. I have to say overall one of the best places Ive eaten out for lunch. The food was definitely worth what I paid for it, and the service was excellent. If you happen to be out of town and visiting Rochester, make this one of the go to places on your list.
We had our dogs with us, so we had to choose a restaurant that had outdoor sitting. The eggplant and garlic dip for our appetizer, came with pita wedges, cucumber slices, kalamata olives and romaine lettuce. I found the dip quite bland.I ordered a glass of Pinot Giorgio, and the Reuben sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. The wine was not fresh anymore. There was nothing special about the Reuben, and the sweet potato fries came with a honey-mustard-poppy seed dip. I enjoyed the dip with the fries more than the Reuben.
Really popular place for brunch especially on Sundays. From young to old, many people gather here to enjoy the time and food the restaurant offers. The place is a little chilly even during the hot summer time, so I would recommend to bring a gown or something if you are not good with air conditioner. Other wise the place is great and food is also great. There are a lot of options to choose from.
Eggs Benedict was a plate of Soup. Hollandaise was very running, Eggs were not even poached, English Muffin was not Toasted, Ham was alright. Service Staff was great. Maybe my Breakfast was the outlier I see ppl on here like the EBs but mine were gross. I’ve had EBs plenty I know the dish I understand a Poached Egg, please do it right or take it off the Menu. Coffee was also Coffee flavored Water.
Well the weekend is very busy. Went around 2ish and the place was still pack. 20 min wait to just sit out instead we sat inside since it was a 5 min wait. I had Caribbean chicken peni. The pineapple was a very good touch. Inside of fries i had apple sauce. Overall it was good. Will return
We found Jines on Google Maps after visiting the Eastman Museum. This has got to be one of the greatest restaurant operations weve ever been to. A well oiled machine where every employee as well as the owner works in great synergy to make the dining experience perfect. The food was outstanding and the whole place was spotlessly clean. If we lived in Rochester, Jines would be our regular place to eat.
Very nice breakfast/brunch rest. The location is awesome ,the staff is friendly , the price is reasonable and the food is good .. I just was tired from the waiting time and I prefer if they ask for the customer phone number and calling when the spot is ready because there is no place for waiting
Food is usually good and quick!! BUT I ordered a CRAB quiche and directly asked the host if it was real crab or imitation. I was told it was real crab and got it back to the office and it was the pollock with red dye. PLEASE LABEL CORRECTLY or at least tell your staff not to misinform
Amazing. Best Greek food Ive had. Also, just the food in general was great. We got slouvaki, shrimp, burgers and beef sandwich.I was a bit disappointed in the texture of the shakes... maybe thats the way they do it here. I like it colder and thicker.Anastasia was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. She was also quick and efficient.Very glad I made the decision to come here as part of our vacation.
While you wont find anything mind blowing on the menu, there is a reason this corner restaurant has parking filled to a ridiculous degree on a regular basis. The food is good, and people know it! Some items are a bit pricier but most follow average dine-in pricing with friendly (if a bit overwhelmed) staff. Not a bad place to stop if you have the time to wait 20 minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich, itll be worth the wait.
Amazing food, lovely atmosphere! I received a gift card for Jines and I was impressed with the restaurant! The salad came with an awesome house dressing, honey mustard poppyseed dressing. The entrees were huge and delicious. We sat inside the restaurant because it was hot and humid, but the outdoor seating would be wonderful for some prime people-watching down Park Ave. Excellent place!
We live nearby and order here a lot and our order is always correct and yummy. 4 stars for price; some items I feel are steep. Last time we ate in, we ordered fried zucchini which tasted fishy, like they were fried in the fish oil. We sent the dish back and the manager came out to talk to us. We told him about the fishy-ness and he admitted they were fried in the fish oil and was apologetic. He took the zucchini off the bill and offered us another dish. We were very happy with his service and the rest of the food. Some places make you feel like you are the one in the wrong. We will continue to come here often.
Always a pleasant experience at Jines. I love the atmosphere. Its perfect for dining alone, with someone else, a group, you name it! Great for dates and all sorts of life events! I used to live off Park and still come back to specifically visit Jines quite a bit. The owner is one of the most involved and caring individuals Ive ever seen in the restaurant industry. He always talks to his staff with respect and dignity and never criticizes them or lashes out regardless of if things went right or wrong. Hes the first to use things as learning experiences and it shows. The staff is cohesive, well trained, and Ive yet to ever experience a bad server here. When youve got good owners who work right on the line with their staff like Jines does, its a recipe for continued success. The food is always great and they legit have the best Vegetarian Chili Ive ever had (plus it doesnt have mushrooms which is even better for someone like me who is allergic to many of them). Rochester wouldnt be the same without Jines.
Absolutely fantastic little restaurant on Park Avenue in Rochester. The eggplant garlic appetizer, which I know as Baba ghanouj is amazing and has a nice twist adding parsley. The Lamb and feta burger, accompanied with cucumber sauce, tomato, lettuce & red onion is my idea of the perfect gyro. Excellent food and great service from Siobhan.
I order food-to-go and it was some of the worst Ive ever had. I have numerous years of experience working in kitchens, under high pressure, under-staffed, long hours, etc. There is no excuse for the quality of food I have received from here (8/17/21). Its poorly executed and sloppy, it really screams Lazy, from my point of few, considering the so-called reputation that this restaurant has. Ive given this place multiple chances and I will never be ordering from here again. Waste of money.
Clean, cool vibes, and great food!!!! I came from the Bronx to visit friends in Rochester. On my last night I met up for the first time-my fellow cancer survivor. The servers were so attentive and understanding to my friend and Is talkative conversation and how we werent ready to order. But once we got our acts together and ordered, the food was amazing!!!!!!!! Im so glad we picked this spot. It is such a great place to sit and talk and be able to listen to each other.Cant wait to go up there again to eat again at Jines!!
The food was good, I’ll give them that. Our hostess was rude. We had a reservation for 10 and two were late and she would not let them in. I had to argue with her even though they were under the reservation. The server was nice but she ignored us for 40minutes. We waited 40 for the to take our order. Unbelievable.
Great, had a lamb burger and i was happy to actually taste that distinct taste of lamb. The beer battered fries were crunchy and didnt instantly get cold, in addition the waitress went on break and also informed us of the new waitress, it was the first time we’,e had it happen and we both appreciated it. Very happy to come here and will have to come again.
I love the atmosphere of this place! Not only that, but their food is fantastic. I got the eggs Benedict and had to also get a sweet so I decided on the cinnamon bun french toast. The eggs Benedict - the ham was a real slice of ham, the hollandaise sauce was superb. The cinnamon bun french toast didnt disappoint either! Perfectly cooked and was delicious. Top that with a mimosa, a cup of coffee, and spectacular service and you get 5 stars!! Will definitely be coming again!
Tuesday around 8AM. Seating is spaced out appropriately. Huge menu. Breakfast: 🧇🧇🧇 waffles were amazing! Fresh strawberries on top. Wow! They do have an outside greenhouse hut, but we got a window seat. Hazelnut coffee by the pot. Really great! Help a local place stay afloat!
Great food! Portions are pretty large. Service is friendly but there was one waiter that was a bit rude . One of the most annoying things I find in places is when the waiters rush you to leave once you finnish your food. I had just finished my meal and as I was taking my last bite the waiter have me the check. And didnt ask me about desert or coffee. I was a bit thrown off as I wanted both after my meal. I told him that I wanted desert and he sighed and said hed get a menue. This obviously was not a great experience. However, the actual waitress that served me was fantastic and very kind. Over all good experiance other than the check guy.
Fairly sure this is my favorite restaurant in Rochester. Every single dish I’ve gotten there, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner, has been pretty much perfect and very reasonably priced. The waitstaff are all super nice and make the experience of eating here wonderful. My recommendations:- Grilled Blueberry Muffin- Really anything on their breakfast menu with eggs
Ive been here twice in two weeks so thats a positive endorsement on its own. The food is delicious; very fresh. The portions are generous. We had the same waitress both times and she is awesome. I regret not recalling her name. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely return.
Stopped here twice last week for, lunch and was very pleased. I ordered the spinach salad one day for lunch and it was fresh and very good. The next time I ordered an omelet and home fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. All of the portion sizes are very large and prices are very reasonable. Will be eating here again real soon.
I placed an order online, completed the payment which Jine’s website makes you do before completing your order. I waited until the appropriate time and went to the hostess stand outside and inquired as to whether I would go inside to pickup an order. The hostess told me to go inside and my food would be on the table to the left. At the same time I received a text from Jine’s stating, “your order is ready.” After waiting an in front of the table for additional 5 minutes and only being recognized by a customer who was paying his bill did I tell the hostess I was still waiting for my order. She went behind the counter and spoke to the kitchen staff and few moments later brought me my order. She then proceeded to tell me, “I believe you still have to pay unless you paid online.” Even though there was a receipt staples to the bag. I told her I paid online and thanked her. As I was leaving she was also going back to the hostess stand outside, she told me to have a nice day, but it was in a semi-rude tone. As I was walking away I thought, “I didn’t realize telling you I was still waiting for my order 5 minutes after your restaurant told me it was ready to go was that much of an inconvenience.”The restaurant may have been busy, but don’t be rude to a customer because of it.
There food is always satisfying. I had the waffles with strawberries and the Vegetarian Egg enchilada along with beer battered fries. It was delicious and the atmosphere was so welcoming and attentive. I had plenty of workers come up to us to ask us how things were and even provide some more suggestions. 👍🏼. They were very pleasant.

Great park ave experience. Service was quick, efficient and friendly even during a very busy lunch push. Staff was accommodating inside or outside seating, even allowing us to move seating preferences once seated. Great menu options both fresh and casual comfort.A must stop for enjoying an historic part of rochester living.
Early fall afternoon my daughters and I were feeling a bit peckish. We were tired of the burger arches and crowns. We wanted to go someplace where social distancing was observed. Where the menu items would offer choices that were more appealing than our usual fare.My daughter had heard of a place called Jines so we decided to try it out. Let me tell you this place was exactly what we were looking for. Our menu choices were delicious from the first bite. Service was excellent, we felt very comfortable. We dined outside to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine and found that the seating was in keeping with social distancing despite being outside. We WILL return!
I have yet had a bad experience at Jines. We went there for dinner and I ordered the sea scallops Angelina. The sauce was absolutely amazing. My fiance ordered the broiled haddock which was good also. When he tried the sauce from my scallops, he wished he had ordered it too. Anyway it was a delicious dinner then we ordered apple pie ala mode. They always have the best apple pie and one of the few places that carry it.

Came here JUST for the gluten free pancakes and waffles and THEY DONT HAVE THEM ANYMORE!! 😣😥We were disappointed, the are so few places we can get them GF.. disappointing. 🙁Beautiful restaurant, great service.. Food was great. Wouldve been 5 stars except for the NO GLUTEN FREE Pancakes or Waffles. 🙁Also credit card receipts print HUGE and lots of paper? Seems like they could turn that option off. The check was detailed already. 🤷♀️

Ive been 5 or 6 times and I enjoy it. The staff is pleasent. The dining area is pretty comfortable and there is outdoor seating on Park Ave in the summer. The food is tasty but sometimes the meat is a little dry. Its often busy but worth it. Ive never been for brunch but Ive heard good things.
This was my first time going to Jines and I was so satisfied with every aspect of the experience. The staff there are so sweet and theyre really fast as well, which is always a bonus. I ended up getting the Banana Bread French Toast, which I found out later is one of their most popular items and I see why! It was DELICIOUS!! They have reasonable prices and are so quick with everything. As always, highly recommend!
Jines - keep doing what youre doing! Ive been a fan of you guys for years, and I continue to be. Your food is phenomenal, and when I say phenomenal, I mean delicious, buttery, heavenly, and all that good stuff. Your atmosphere is family-friendly and enjoyable, a great place to have brunch or catch up with friends.I would like to give a compliment to the chefs personally, as I must say, your breakfast/brunch options pack quite the punch into such a fairly priced meal! Your food never ceases to surprise my taste buds and provide and filling and delicious variety of foods.Your service is amazing, and continue to stun me with their kindness and patience. They are always able to make you smile and enjoy your food!Overall, 5/5 stars. This is the perfect place for a sunday breakfast, family get-together, or simply a bite to eat with friends. The environment is perfect for kids of all ages and adults too, and the prices are very fair.I would DEFINITELY recommend Jines to anybody looking for an authentic Rochester experience, or to a local looking to try something new! You will enjoy it and cherish it. I promise you, 100% satisfaction guarantee!
This USED to be a half way decent place to go. Now, if the table top doesnt fall off the base and onto your laps, consider yourself lucky... and if the first cup of coffee you order isnt 10 mins late and barely luke warm and you have to wait another 10 mins for a fresh pot to brew, consider yourself lucky...and if by chance the lettuce on your sandwich just happens to be fresh, crisp and green, youre probably no longer eating at JINES! Just like we arent.
Very good food, for a great price and helpful staff with large portions of some of the items our group ordered. The desserts were brought tableside to view before selecting. Excellent homemade stuffed grape leaves and hummus. The pasts dishes were large enough to bring home as well. Great tap selections as well, including local brews.
Service is always friendly. Soups are always delicious. Have eaten brunch, lunch, and dinners here and never been disappointed. The mini loaves of bread served are hard to resist. I have gone here alone to study or grab a quick lunch, on dates, and with groups and the staff have always been helpful and accommodate any requests to help us have a wonderful meal. The menu is diverse enough in American, Greek, and Italian dishes to please a crowd with various tastes. Great place to relax with friends.
Had lunch here on a very busy weekday during a holiday week. The place was absolutely mobbed, and we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. We stuck it out, and watched as the staff quickly and efficiently cleared tables and sat people as fast as they could. At just over 20 minutes we were seated by a cheerful hostess, who apologized for the wait. Great first impression. The menu was huge and diverse, and my kids were very happy to see breakfast available all day. Our food arrived quickly, and was spot on. Great overall experience, only slightly dampened by the presence of a parking ticket on my car... thanks city of Rochester! Pay attention to those parking rule signs nearby!
Never had a bad experience here. The waffle and eggs Benedict are the BEST! I don’t vary much bc they are my favorite but everyone else we go with likes the rest of the menu also. One thing to note that is also exceptional here is that they take food allergies seriously. My son has many severe food allergies - once the owner personally came and assured us they would make sure his food was safe to eat. The waitresses also do a good job letting us know what he can have. Notable: Tina. She was just amazing and knew so much about allergies. This is the only restaurant we have gone to where I feel like they actually care about preparing something he can eat. It gives a comfort that as a parent of an allergic kid I rarely have. Thank you so much.
The staff is friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the lamb burger was delicious. It comes on a pita bread. I would opt for the classic buns, but that is just me, as it makes it easier to hold. The banana bread French toast is worth trying. But dont count your calories!.
My experience was just okay, until one of their servers came out and started vacuuming...now THAT is what I call quality service that is unique from anywhere else Ive been. I feel great knowing that when I go out to eat, my floors are also nice and vacuumed. Excellent work by the servers! Definitely will come back often to my spotless restaurant.
Great quality food at amazing prices. There is something on the menu for everyone, it looks and feels like a diner but the food coming out of the kitchen is on another level. Even simple sandwiches are done amazingly well. Service was also incredible and on nice days they have outdoor seating. Cool place for families or just to grab a bite with some friends.
Its just another diner that has outdoor seating on Park Ave. Food was basic, but maybe what I ordered was and everything else is great? You can decide for yourself. Didnt like sitting right next to the road where cars were driving by. Felt like we would be blindsided by some idiot driver. Service was good, no complaints. Just cant give it 5 stars for checking off the basics is all.
Jines is a little downtown diner that aims to cater to a casual crowd with an upscale feel. You can go in and be sat next to college locals in sweats, a group of business workers, or even a family. Week day lunches are usually filled with business types, while evenings and weekends will have more variety; tending to the more casual side. However, I would not hesitate to visit any day at any time in whatever I happen to be wearing.Their food and service is consistent. The food is well prepared and features simple plating. Their breakfast is not overly greasy. Their service is the friendly bustling diner type. They do have a small bar area that served craft beer and wine. So if you happen to be waiting for dinner there is that too enjoy. Be aware the place is small and there is no real waiting area.
I’m a nurse, and I feel like a Jines is a staple of Rochester in that of post night shift breakfast! I’ve been going here for years and it’s fantastic every single time. I do try to get something different every time that I go. I have found that the wild mushroom with crumbled blue cheese omelette is my absolute most favorite breakfast dish they offer though. And all of the eggs Benedict are to die for! I will admit, I have never had dinner here. I’ve only ever had breakfast. But they do make a mean mimosa as well :) definitely 5/5 every time I go.As far as covid prophylaxis goes...Social distancing, hand sanitizer provided, masks required, and outdoor seating, cleaning in between customers
Always a good place to get some amazing breakfast. One of Rochesters most iconic places to spend your morning. They were offering apple cider mimosas and they were actually pretty good. Can get a little cramped at some times but should be expected at any well known restaurant. Keep it up. Everybody dines and Jines.
I ordered a Greek salad and a side of dolmadas. The salad had perfect portions of salad, chicken and feta. The dolmadas were warm and tasted soooo good. I ordered as a pick up and when I arrived it was ready. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Great experience. One of my favorite places in Rochester.
Would be 5 stars if there wasnt always a wait when I went (and no comfortable area in which to wait). Having that said, staff is friendly and inviting, and food is quite yummy. Seating both inside and outside is useful, although Ive had some issues with bees in the summer 😬All in all, Jines is worth the trip if youre considering- although Id recommend making a reservation just in case!
Good for breakfast.Decent food, moderate price. BUT I have had to replace the knife, fork or spoon at least once on my last 3 visits. I am a very longtime patron but I wont be coming back for a while. With the current COVID issues this is not a good time to get dirty silver. Peter I hope you fix it.Back for dinner with my wife on 4/7/21, food was excellent, service was very good, prices were reasonable, silverware was clean. Good job Peter. Will change from 2 to 5 stars.
The hostess was very pleasant and seated us quickly. The waitress was kind and patient with our group of six people. Most of us ordered omelets, which were yummy. Bathrooms are women and unisex which was interesting. I saw a couple men waiting in line for the unisex bathroom which is uncommon to see! The prices seemed average for a diner/breakfast place. Overall, seems like a decent breakfast place to check out.
It was very nice sitting on the outdoor patio, but it was very crowded and the wait was kind of long to get a seat. The food was good, but pricey for what it was. Three pancakes with a scoop of ice cream on top was nearly $9. All in all a good place to eat if you can catch them on a slow day. Wait staff was excellent!
Went there for the first time on 10/15/17 with family for brunch. Without a doubt the BEST brunch weve ever had! The homemade hash with poached eggs, English muffins and hollandaise sauce was simply remarkable! I highly recommend this family friendly restaurant! Well go every time we visit Rochester from now on.
My favorite breakfast spot in Rochester, and not just because they offer cage free eggs as an option. Great service. I swear they top off my coffee every time I take a sip! Great food options. I have been here for dinner as well, and have never had a meal I didnt like.
My husband and I frequently visit this establishment for the past 11 years. We feel we get the best value for the buck. There are daily chef dinner specials after 4:30 pm. They are varied to interest different palates. We have also had breakfast here, and it is delicious too!
Fantastic brunch. I didnt have any idea that this place existed before a friend told me hey, were going and youre coming too. Although we were a large party (20ish people), the staff were kind and polite despite our pretty major disruption in party size. The food was still timely and absolutely delicious. Ill be coming back here for sure.
Always have enjoyed my experiences here. From a great location on Park Ave, to great customer service, and delicious food. My son and me usually have breakfast here once a week and we’ve always had great experiences. Highly recommend their home made corn beef hash and Benedicts. It is easy to see why this place is a staple of Rochester.
Cute and small breakfast/brunch spot with awesome outdoor seating (this is especially great in the summer/fall since it’s at a really scenic location in Park Ave). The quality of their food/drinks is pretty good too with a decent menu selection. Would recommend the spot for a brunch date since the vibe/atmosphere is there.
The food and the atmosphere are very good at Jines, albeit busy . Staff seemed very eager to move our table along, understandably so, it was a morning rush. Our party was delayed due to traffic. Added bonus , you can buy drinks with breakfast ( great night shift spot ). Not my first choice , but a reliable spot.

2022-02-20Jines is an ESSENTIAL Rochester, NY restaurant! They serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner all day, but I have only had their breakfast food and can therefore only comment on that. The service is always spot on, and the servers are always very kind and welcoming. The prices have gone up a bit due to the shortages everywhere, but theyre still very reasonable. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and big enough so youre not on top of people sitting near or around you.Their Corned Beef Hash is homemade and some of the best I have ever had! I have also yet to find a restaurant that can beat Jines Eggs Benedict! For brunch, they also pour a very generous Mimosa that I can taste is mostly Champagne!Whether youre visiting Rochester or are just looking for top-notch breakfast, Jines Restaurant is where you need to go!!

2022-06-24My mom and I enjoyed ourselves at Jines. It has been a while since I have been there. The atmosphere is beautiful, warm and welcoming. It is busy like always but, this time it was pretty quiet for a morning. The wait staff was amazing, funny and enjoyed working. We each ordered the Eggs Benedict with Loxs, Wow delicious!!! This is a must try! We shared a side of homefries, have to say this was delicious food still a little hungry and had to get some dessert, try the Almond raspberry cake, again... Wowed! I dont know why I am surprised.. they are always on point. This is a gem in Rochester, on Park Ave.Their hash is amazing too! Homemade!! Yay!!Adding the our receipt for our last visit always delicious! You pay for quality!

2022-03-12This is a really good brunch/ lunch place. They have a pretty large menu and the food was divine! Very friendly and efficient staff. Jines is definitely a must try place in Rochester.Only drawback is they don’t allow to reserve a table. So we had to wait a good 20 min or so.

2022-06-23Very good reviews on Google.Came in for breakfast, it was very good and the service was excellent (thank you Rin).I had the lox omelet. The cream cheese and herb in the omelet was delicious, a bit skimpy on the lox. But overall very good. Will be back to try their lunch.

2022-02-25We love Jines. Had the macaroni and cheese with beef special and the Greek salad with tuna Saturday night. Had the Lamb Burger and Banana Walnut French toast today. This is our favorite restaurant to visit when we come to Rochester. Wonderful customer service and delicious food.

What can I say was one of the best experiences for dinning out in Rochester NY form the time we walked in smiles and great customer service also our waitress Madison AKA MadDog was great! She recommended the Chicken N Waffles and the the apple cider Mamosa‘s where spot on take a look in the pics. Thank you Peter Jines and Madison!

2021-08-29Food was decent. Couldve gotten the same at any diner really. Service wasnt great. Server had no personality. Didnt really check back to see if we were ok. When I asked for refill on my coke, he grabbed my cup by the lip... so then I asked for a straw even though I dont like using them.

2022-04-13Service was fast and friendly. We were seated quickly. We had a party of 7 and none of us had a single complaint. Food was delicious, everyone was very happy with their meals. 4 daughters and a grandson and everyone was happy! Thats amazing in itself. The price was very reasonable for 7 people as well.
