I had a great experience here. The prices are very reasonable. Customer service is the best. Basically they are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure that I understood why the repair was needed so that I knew what I was paying for. I will highly recommend this auto service especially for women who are not knowledgeable of vehicles because they take the time to inform you about your vehicle. So here at JMR you can always get two for one!!! a great opportunity to learn while they repair your vehicle!!
Best and most knowledgeable repair shop In Queens. Most honest guys. They dont waste your time and always find the exact problem. My cars drive like NEW because of these guys. I would recommend this shop to anybody.

They are very honest and hardworking men, they fixed my radiator and oil change in no time. I found JMR through a google search and saw that they had a lot of positive reviews. I walked in shortly after they opened to have my car inspected. I was greeted by Junior as I walked in and less than thirty minutes my car was inspected, plates were put on and I was back home by 9am. Very pleasant and quick.

I brought my 2011 Toyota for oil change, inspection, & general maintenance. Excellent service. We used to go to the Toyota dealer but JMR does the work better, they advise you, and have an at your service attitude. The way auto shops should be. Thanks to our new mechanics, Ryan and Junior.
I really had a good experience at JMR Auto Center. I was in a rush and the mecanical technition Ryan was great. He was very professional and courteous. I was able to get my goal accomplished in a timely fashion. Definitely will be going back in the near future.
My name is Jean J M and i just moved to Jamaica, NY. I was looking for a mechanic shop to service my 4matic 2013 C-300. I stumbled upon JMR Auto Center on 5/31/17. I spoke to one of the owners Junior who understood what i wanted done and made sure he was done. Hes very knowledgeable and im sure the rest of the workers are al well.Prices are reasonable but i did see $120 for labor charge on my bill(lol). Thought i was going to spend hours getting my inspection, rotors & brakes done but to my delight an hour max.So, yes; i recommend JMR shop to all residing in the area even coming from far because youll not be disappointed. Never have i written any reviews about anything before but i feel the merit to do so for JMR.good service deserves bright lights.
Ryan is always very helpful and honest with repairs. The prices are very fair in my opinion as well. I honestly would have never thought twice about it based on appearances, however, Im glad I have them a chance. There is another gentleman that works there with him as his partner and I apologize I dont have his name also great to deal with.
I passed my Emission and my brakes light are working and this Jamaican guy has the audacity to say I fail my inspection because one out of my four reflectors light didnt work.He put on the inspection paper wheels removed, inspected and the car never went up on the lift.This place is a rip off. Do not go there.
Great service, and great work. I was especially happy that they answered all of my questions about the car and the work that was performed. I also love that they added a great young lady who answers the phone and streamlines the process/pricing. Will definitely return!
Jmr auto Center is very clean Shop. The staff was very friendly and professional. The prices are reasonable and they have a youth program which they collect and donate school supplies to the students back in their home country of Jamaica West Indies.
I called at 8a and was so happy to find that they were open early. I took my car in for an inspection and the guys there quickly attended to me and took care of my car in about 15 minutes! Very courteous and respectful!
This place is a rip-off. My husband had taken our car to this business for a check up which he was told it was going to be $20. When they finished the check up he was told it was going to be $120.00... My husband will no longer be taking our car to this business.
Best auto service store, i almost come here every other month to service my mazda 3. they are really honest and trustworthy business man, really knows what they are doing. will continue to come here in future.
Quick and easy inspection. Cool guys, good prices, Francis even pumped my tires and filled my windshield wiper liquid when he saw they were running low. Will come back!
Came to just see how an inspection would go they gave me a bill for 700 so I wasted 37 went to a second place and had no problems just paid for the inspection

Great and quick service, they were not pushy like most places that try to tell you everything is wrong with your vehicle so you need to get everything repaired by them.

Hi Im Dimitri Dorvilier I learned auto mechanics in my country Haiti, but I have not had time to do an internship in a garage any; I had prepared myself to come here in the usa. So I do not know it is possible that you allow me to come to relearn the skill in your shop part-time, to have the experience.
Juniors was my place until I retired and moved a coupleof hours away, but on two occasions I made the drive backjust to let Junior know I had not forgotten the excellent serviceI always received, thank you Junior

2022-04-21I have nothing but positive things to say about JMR Auto Center. I brought my car in for an oil change which they performed in a timely manner; Following the oil change they inquired further about the car and confirmed problems I knew the car had that even the dealer denied were an issue. They are timely, honest, hard workers with fair prices and sound insight into how your vehicles problems should be addressed. I also valued their vast knowledge and ability to honestly prioritize dire necessities verses things to be done over time. I will definitely be back here with any issues my car has.

2022-03-29Found this place after searching for nys inspection location. $37 for inspection. I’m glad that this is a black business which I’m super happy to support. The young lady operating the front office was responsive and informative. As a woman who is not the most knowledgeable in cars I did not feel uncomfortable at this business. This shop is not pushy at all. You’re welcome to purchase your parts and pay them for the labor. After has I had my dealership do routine maintenance, I came back to have them complete additional maintenance on Japanese brand car 🚘 since the dealer charges dealership prices. JMR has budget friendly prices for other maintenance tasks.

2022-02-22I went to JMR needing an oil change and to find out about my brakes. The mechanic Junior explained to me in detail what was wrong with my car and gave me a quote before he began to work on my car. The young lady in the office was very courteous and thank me for my business. The wait to have my car serviced was not long. I will highly recommend this business.

2022-04-20My 2013 Honda Pilot is my baby. So when she began to make some weird noises I took it to JMR auto, through a referral. From the office manager to the many mechanics, I was treated with respect. As a woman, I fear being robbed by a mechanic. However, JMR Auto talked with me, answered ALL my questions, throughly checked my car and resolved my car issues. Now she works beautifully! The prices are reasonable and the service is top notch. I now have a car mechanic!!

2021-09-01Nice & excellent services. Their restroom is very neat & clean. I dont see any garage like this. And they do the services quick as they can. Im very happy with Mr RYAN he is a very nice person. When you come you can look him.

2021-09-04I got all four shocks on my 2011 Mercedes-Benz GL450 replaced at this location. If you drive a Mercedes ML or GL class you know they use air suspension (airbags and compressor) which could take a huge chunk out of your wallet if they malfunction. My front driver side airbag was faulty and Helms Bros recommended I replace the front two shocks for a staggering $2,200. Not only did Ryan do a great job removing and installing the shocks, he did it for less than half the price: $1,300. I bought the suspension conversion kit from Strutmasters.com and it cost me $1,300 as well so I spent a total of $2,600 for four brand new shocks and the suspension light module! Now I’m driving a car with brand new shocks and never have to worry about the airbags going down again. The ride isn’t as smooth as it used to be with the air suspension but hey, it’s a 10 year old car and I don’t expect it to run like new. I dropped my car Monday morning and got it back Tuesday evening. Great place to get work done on your car! 5/5 stars
