This is more my wifes opinion, she feels that this location would be best served by taking over the old ToysRus location. However she did find everything she was looking for. I would have liked if the 11x14 black hardbound sketchbook had been available.
Very poor experience, which is so unfortunate because I like the store. Only 2 employees were working on a busy Saturday. One person cutting fabric, and one person at the register. This made for exceedingly long wait times for both. Followed by a difficult time having a simple discount applied.I was told I wasnt eligible for the discount unless I downloaded the Joann app on my phone. This was after I had already waited in line for well over 30 minutes between the fabric line, and the checkout.When I got home I checked the website to make sure I hadnt gotten upset for no reason, and on the website all you have to do to get the discount is click a button and its applied to your cart. (Even without signing in.)I own a Cricut and I will shop at other stores for my supplies after today. Oh, and did I mention I had a four year with me the entire time, not a good experience!
Finding stuff within the store is easy because the associates are always willing to help and seem to know where everything is. I have a wonderful experience every time I go in!
This branch in Clifton Park was not stocked with Yarn, and thats what I went for. It needs much more yarn.However, it was neat, and the staff was helpful and welcoming.

I always enjoy Joanns even when I cant find the particular yarn Im looking for. They have a wide variety of knitting, quilting and sewing notions, books and fabrics as well as related magazines.
A very nice store, with very helpful staff--but pretty small. It seems like there are a lot of empty shops in the same retail strip so, would be great if they could expand.
I found beads at 70 percent off. Some of the sewing patterns were 1.99 each. I found the bobbins I needed for my sewing machine. Along with straight pins.
Very friendly atmosphere. The employees are quick to help and answer questions. Very neat and clean. Overall great place to get fabrics and craft supplies!
Selection is ok. The woman who waited on me was quite arrogant. She cut a yard of fabric when I asked for one half of a yard. Insisted I said one yard. Never apologized. The Colonie location is better, larger with a much more extensive selection.

Large selection of fabric choices, fairly well organized. The staff was courteous and friendly, but the general condition of the store was small and messy.
Have not been to this store since my favorite employee left. Other employees were not sewers & not well informed in sewing machines, & therefore, would be unable to assist me if I had any questions.
You can finding everything you want, and get excellent help too! I wish they would toke down the cinnamon and spice smell, however. It makes me nauseated.
Its one of the few places, that you cant find in other places. It definitely has a lot of materials of all kinds. The Employees are well trained in cutting the materials in measurements.
It seemed very crowded with fabrics. I thought they used to have lots of seasonal wreaths. Disappointed in a very poor selection

Smaller selection of fabric and trims (and everything overall) than the Albany location. But the trims they do carry tend to be prettier and they tend to have everything well stocked.
I needed help locating snap tape the nice took me to it and gave me choices I wanted, it was easy, they are very knowledgeable, great experience as usual

This is the smallest Jo-anns and is not as nicely kept as the one in Colonie, but the staff are very helpful and the prices are good.

2022-03-20The ladies in the queensbury joanns are always so nice and helpful. They always help me with new patterns or picking fabric or understanding a new skill Im trying. I always look forward to going into this store, just make sure u use a coupon and get the sales, cause the prices are a little expensive without. Definitely one of my fav stores ❤️

2019-12-11I may be biased because I prefer the small Joann stores to the really large super Joann stores, but I enjoyed my visit. The employees were both super nice and helpful and there was a large variety of items for different hobbies in a stock. I was quickly able to find what I needed and didnt have a wait at the cutting table for service. The store does have a lot crammed in a small space so I could see it feeling claustrophobic at a busy time. Ill be back to this store.

2020-10-08I usually go to Joanns for various craft items at least twice a month or more. I really like their Clearance Sale sections!!! (Sometimes maybe too much???) The only complaint that I have is whenever I am looking for something very specific, they either dont have it, or else its not on sale. Sometimes I get so frustrated when Im there, that I usually leave empty-handed. And what ever happened to McGills flower punches??? I really loved them...and now I cant find them anywhere!!!

2019-08-16Compared to the store in Albany/Colonie, this location is small with limited stock/inventory; however, the service here is MUCH better than the other location. That being said, both stores still seem consistently understaffed. In the interest of time, I prefer to order through the app and just arrive for pick up whenever possible.

2019-01-06Helping my daughter sew her first dress and the staff was amazing. Able to explain patterns to me and how much of what to buy. Very thankful. Had everything we needed, tons of coupons and sales as well.
