This place surprised me. Has a outside front area where you can hangout, then an inside bar and live music area then a separate area with a tv, pool 🎱, darts 🎯 and shuffleboard. Not sure if they play live music everyday but the artists played some rock and country with their own kick. Also has a touch tunes so after the artists left, you could play your own music through it. The drinks were very well priced, not sure if thats the normal for that area, but compared to major city areas, they were good.I would say my biggest wow was their pizza 🍕👌! For someone who loves pizza, their pizza was excellent, and hands-down better than a lot of pizzerias and chain restaurants 🙌 . We ordered one 16 pepperoni pie, and then a second 16 pie with pepperoni and pineapple. The crust was soft, crispy and edible. Toppings were just the right amount and the pineapples werent too big and chunky making it fall off the pizza. Pizza was super hot so it took a minute before we could actually indulge. The other guys seemed to love their wings and burger.Overall, good place to hang out solo or with a group of friends with a nice calm and welcoming atmosphere that I think could cater to different types of people, whether you want to watch the game, socialize, play games, relax outside taking in fresh air, or listen to some music 👍.

Drove over after work really craving a beer. Just after 4PM and ever single seat at the bar already taken by 40+ year olds. I looked for an opening at the bar to walk up and order a drink but got that awkward territorial vibe from the old drunks who had already set up camp. Bartender didnt even acknowledge me. Feels like the type of place where the regulars have carte blanche and everyone else is low priority. Left without service. Huge waste of time.

The John Hoover inn is a great place. If you have not been there you dont know what youre missing out on. Johnna and staff will make it a very experienced time to remember with food drinks in hospitality.

If you go when a good bartender is there, the food is good and the fellow patrons make it great. Unfortunately, this place has lazy bartenders who watched as my guests and I entered and sat at a table behind in the bar area due to the 10 barseats were taken. As we sat expecting a minimal wait, we decided what we wanted for dinner and continued waiting. The bartender not once, while acknowledging that we were there thought to herself to come and welcome us. We waited 25 mins before we decided not to go back. As a military member this is not a place that the military is welcomed. But feel free, to have the same experience for yourself.
