The store owner named Manny is very knowledgable about his Latin music history and his merchandise,most of the time you can get hard to find stuff as well.Carlito is the other guy in the store,hes very friendly and helps you with any thing one is looking for,I have been coming here for years.Very nice set up and great prices,this store has some thing for everyone,from CDs to instruments and if he doesnt have it,he will try to get it for you.I come here every now and then to find some thing and usually i never leave empty handed.Good staff and good music playing as well,kind of gets you into the mood for hunting old school stuff.

It has a variety of Latin music: danzones, rancheras, salsa, romantic ballads, etc. and musical instruments.
Buy some timpani at a very reasonable price. I also got a butterfly for classical timpani bells. Which is very difficult to find and there I got it at a very good price.

2022-05-24Eddie did a setup for my fender strat, it was same day service (most places said two weeks). Eddie was knowledgeable with different styles of music and guitars. Eddie was friendly experienced, passionate, and talented. We almost didn’t go here because we didn’t see any reviews for a guitar set up. Please make sure you use Eddie for any guitar set ups!

2019-08-21If you love Latin music this the place to go one of the last music shops in Moore street any instrument and gift ideas even dominoes Lps , cds, music books a and more very friendly and knowledgeable. Went there with my brother visiting from Hawaii loves salsa music picked up a cow bell for a friend I bought dominos nice quality & two CD for dacncing.

2021-11-23Walking into Johnny Albino, I was impressed with its size and scope, and the friendliness of Manny, the owner. He let me try out all the guitars in the shop, and cut me a deal I couldnt refuse.Seriously the vibe is impeccable, I hung around for an hour listening to a session musician knock out cover after cover, from Eric Clapton to The Rolling Stones. Incidentally this musician was trained by Paul McCartney.If youre into percussion, the shop has a wide selection of bongos, congas, and maracas. The founder Johnny Albino was the lead singer of Trios Panchos. Theres an abundance of Puerto Rican influence. This shop is so unique, really if youre looking for any musical equipment just give them a ring. I spoke to Manny before stepping foot in the shop and he was patient with my questions. I walked out of Johnny Albino with everything I wanted and more. Highly recommend!

2021-05-11Went to browse some guitars, more like a pawn shop but the vibes are great. Don’t remember the name of the gentleman who helped me and my friend but he was really friendly and felt more like a homie than a salesman
