Nice little coffee bar. Very good quality coffee and some very great dessert. Ordered the coffee with cream and the fresh whipped cream is amazing. Biscottis about the size of my arm, could use them to feed a family!
Professional, clean and delicious! I had velvet chocolate coffee and an almond crescent so good! Plus I had an amazing time catching-up with my girlfriends 💜 great atmosphere!

WOW! Truly a top tier coffee bar; the Baristas are incredibly friendly and know how to make brilliant coffee fast! The menu is fun and interesting and makes you want to come back for more.I honestly could spend hours here studying or catching up with my buddies.HIGHLY recommend checking this place out-- you wont regret it. Also, the Almond croissant is a must have. So so good.

The service was very good and they was very polite to me they also broke down what was in every drink and how the dessert was made.. I would tell every one to go here for amazing drinks and food
The staff is fast, courteous and friendly. They have a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. My husband ordered a Carmelloccino and I had the Velvet Chocolate Coffee. We also ordered two different biscotti. Everything was very flavorful and delicious. We dont live in Utica but will be back next week for more. If you have the opportunity to go, dont let it pass you by. This place is a great addition to downtown. Good luck to them!
Very nice baristas!! Great coffee mixtures. Whats with the 16 oz cup served with a smaller drink. Id think that the cup size and drink size should match. Excellent overall experience..... Bought coffee for home too. ☕😉
Menu is extraordinary but ladies employees are snobby with unpleasant attitude and unethical. They love to talk negatively about customers as prejudice behind customers. I ordered 2 drinks and 1 pistachio canoli dessert total $19. Even the Joseph Putrello Coffee Barista bar Utica NY lady employee did not print a receipt of the payment and did not give me proper change. They report on customers. Ouch!
Absolutely love this place, definitely something Utica needed and what a perfect location for it. I highly recommend the seating upstairs with a view of Stanley. Staff is very friendly, owners are great people. I feel like Im in one of European cities on vacation. THE #1 spot for coffee in Utica! Dont take my word for it, go try it, and youre welcome because you will be thankful for the recommendation.

Very nice. It was a Snowy day so the slightly cool decor was a touch cold for days like today but the coffee choices were enticing and the prociutto croissant was very good. 3 people shared it and agreed.

Much respect for opening a coffee shop in the middle of a pandemic. They have a great modern Italian theme going and adding a nice touch to Utica downtown.
Theres this smokin hot barista that works here. Easily makes the best coffee in town too. Means shes a keeper Im sure. Cant seem to get her number yet. Wont give up hope though!

2022-01-24I don’t think I have ever written a review on anything in my entire life, but for this place was so good I had to. My first time in Utica, I was just looking for a decent coffee to kill some time….we ended up having the best coffee experience of our life. Price was the same as my everyday Starbucks order, but the taste, quality, and service was impeccable. Perfectly executed by staff who were so friendly and attentive, I am so sad I live two hours away from this place because now no other coffee will ever compare to Joseph Putrellos and I will never be satisfied with my Starbucks again😅 A must try for anyone passing through the area!!

2022-03-13Absolutely stunning coffee bar. The ambiance hits so nicely. Clean, bright, white, with the perfect aesthetic of plants and marble accents. Now about th espresso! Some of the best Ive ever had! The double cappuccino was everything Ive always been looking for in terms of espresso to foamed milk ratio! The baristas were very friendly and the menu of specialty coffees and their presentation is perfect for any and all coffee afficianado.

2021-10-06Similar prices to any other coffee place including Dunkin-but when it came to taste and presentation there’s absolutely no comparison. This was a pistachio velvet, the flavor was amazing and it looks incredible. My husband-who is extremely finicky with his coffee was quite pleased as well. The atmosphere is laid back, clean and the boost that Utica needs.

2021-04-17My friend and I were greeted by the staff when we came in , which was very welcoming. The atmosphere is very pleasant and cafe like. We ate on the second level of the coffee barista. We ordered hot chocolate milk. Pistachio cannoli and Almond pastry. Delicious!

2021-02-02Awesome Vibes, nice clean modern feel. We tried a Carmellocino and an Affagato for drinks. We had a pistachio cannoli to share. Room temperature water is served with food. Everything was amazing. Seats were comfy. View is great. Price’s were reasonable. A must try. Great addition to downtown.

2021-02-07I had a really great experience here. The place is small but very clean and sleek, white and metal decor. Its set up like a coffee kiosk with seating. I ordered a bicerin coffee, and got a drip coffee and espresso. I can say that each item was delicious! I had never had a bicerin before and it was really unique. Definitely get the pistachio cream on top. Its fantastic! It reminds me of coffee I had in Italy. The owner actually came over and chatted with us and made sure we were enjoying our coffee. He was really pleasant and passionate. It was nice to hear about his path and vision and realization of his dream. It was really nice to see. The service overall was really nice and high quality, doing little touches like serving on a shiny metal tray all white and black etc. And the coffee was really excellent. It was nice to enjoy really high quality without being overly pretentious. The coffee had great robust flavor but not acidic or fruity. Nice to see something like this in Utica! If I am back in Utica Ill definitely visit! Id love another bicerin!
