The service was excellent and the food was delicious!!
I think going on a Friday evening during restaurant week with a large group of people was a bad idea. I think my experience has a lot to do with that. Unfortunately, with the restaurant being so busy many items of our group was forgotten. We were asked for our orders about 45 minutes in and then didnt receive our orders for another hour. My fish fry was great and so was the salad that comes with it.
First time diner to this restaurant, cant say enough, from the moment we walked in the door to be seated at a table in the dinning the wait staff and owner greeted us and made us feel at home. Dinner was the best seafood Ive ever had. It was a special for the night and was cooked to perfection. Nice quiet place, plenty of people in the dinning room but the noise was mild. This is a Western New York gem that offers excellent food at great prices and will definitely dine there again!
This was quite possibly the worst dining experience i had in the past 10 years. The service was just awful, inattentive and distracted; even though the place qas neatly empty. By the time our food arrived we asked them to wrap it because we were now late for an appoitment. The next night we tried to eat the food and it was bad, dare I say amaturish. They need to shut down and build a gas station. Stay far away from this place.
The service started our nice and the food was tasty, but I ended up disappointed. I went purposely because I had won a $25 gift certificate. When we went to pay the server came back with my gift certificate and told me I couldnt use it because I was at a table with other people using coupons. The server pointed out the restriction on my coupon, but I dont remember that being there when I ordered. The wording looked like a fresh stamp.
Great food. Had been wanting to try this place for years and wife n I not disappointed. Saw they had fish fry, want to check out soon. Small, quiet, and friendly service. Highly recommend.
Delicious meal. Our poor server was the only on that night, but she somehow managed to do a great job. She even gave our party free cannolis in honor of my husbands birthday. Great evening! 😊

Waitress made fun of immigrants because they couldn’t understand menu, then they took so long she said leave unless you decide to come eat here. We are sitting outside on the patio, all the furniture is covered in dirt, the waitress is now sitting by us blowing her cigarette smoke on us while we sit here. Literally waited for a long time to come try this place, and it has been more than a disappointment. We walk in, because we are two young couples they look at us weird. 100% the worst place I’ve ever been too and basically thinks immigrants are a big joke when they are connected to a Chinese restaurant. If you’re reading a review and debating on coming here, give someone else your business, trust me.Updated: a different waitress came up and apologized, asked what happened, apologized and offered some free desserts. Decided to not order entrees here, but my friend is friends with the owner and this seems to be an uncommon occurrence, it was just very off putting at first.Another updated: our waitress saves the day with free cannolis, but then the rude waitress that said it doesn’t matter what she does she’s off shift, comes out to apologize, maybe because her manager made her, and ruined the meal again. She seemed waisted, was pointing her finger at my fiancé and said she’s not racist and then walked away before we could talk. Gross.
Very cozy as long as they are not too many people otherwise you will be on top of one another. Waitresses are okay however they disappear for lumpy or times even when the place is not completely full. The food is okay depending on the dish it can be pricey.
I went to Jovis on Sunday April 29th 2018 for a baby shower. The bar staff was very friendly and our waitress was amazing. The service was top notch. The food was also amazing. We had salad, green beans and potatoes, Chicken Francaise, and Roast Beef. All can say is I was stuffed LOL. The restaurant was also very clean.
We go here every week because the food and the service is fantastic! We have never been disappointed. Oue waitress is usually Jennifer who is so nice and efficient. We love her.. thank you Jovis for making our weekly dinner there so special!.
Jovi’s can be counted upon for great Italian food, friendly and timely service and a comfortable neighborhood feel. No chain feel here. No wonder - the same family has owned it for decades!

Found this great little eatery by accident just down the road from Paddock Chevrolet. Pub up front and dining room adjoining. Clams Cassino were great along with the Chicken Franciase. We split the main meal and house salad since they were so large. Restaurant is open until 10 pm. Cozy and clean with good service. We will definitely visit when we make our next trip to Niagra Falls area.
I do not understand how this place has so many good reviews. The food was bland and boring, would have been better off going to Olive garden. Not to mention I ordered ziti and was served penne. The service was ok. We were there for an hour during prime dinner time and not a single person walked in. The over all experience was not that great.

Jovis is a nice little place right on Delaware. The inside is nice and the servers were friendly. The prices arnt bad but they dont give you much. The service was great but if Im paying $10 for a sandwich I shouldnt want to stop at a drive thru on the way home
I more than strongly recommend jovis for catering. Not only are they beyond reasonably priced for delicious food but they are patient and beyond friendly. They are now my go to for any celebration. And Mark is so awesome and professional.

2022-02-07Awful. Ordered dinner for the family and everything we ordered was gross. Stuffed banana peppers were deep fried and tasted like dirty oil. The clams casino were all breadcrumbs - definitely tasted frozen. Mussels were supposed to be in a spicy sauce, but it tasted like plain jar tomato sauce. No flavor. My husband ands veal he said tasted rancid. The burata salad didn’t even have burata!! The only edible dinner was my sons spaghetti. Waste of over $100. Every last bit went in the trash. Avoid. Olive Garden would have been better “Italian” food.

2021-12-12Food was overcooked, cook and server were fighting and yelling at each other for 20 minutes... Only four tables (3 were upset at the food quality) bar was empty and the cook could not handle it... Terrible experience, will not go back.

2021-05-09I have had really good food here before but today was a total disappointment. Our appetizer was overcooked and our meals were just bad. Not sure if the cook is just a bad cook or if they are purchasing terrible frozen Manicotti.I heard two different tables complain about the long wait for food and one table got up and left. I get it if you are short handed but mention it ahead of time so people are aware. I didnt complain while I was there so as to not embarrass my mom or the waitress. I wont be back anytime soon.

2021-08-20I wouldnt go back there if they paid me. They served rancid cheese. I couldnt eat any of the food. I cant believe the ratings on here. Im thinking it used to be a good restaurant and now its just struggling. Three hungry men went there and none of us ate our food.
