Great selection and great people to work with. Jocelyn helped us directly and was so knowledgeable about the stone and different options for us. We have a custom sized vanity and they came in with high technology measuring tools to get the measurements just right. We loved how our piece came out and would definitely use them in the future.
I’ve been a customer to Joe and JP Stonemart for years and he is truly a professional and the only thing better than the perfect stone he supplies is his kindness and professionalism from beginning to end. We had a small coffee table top done and it was so breathtaking we vowed to redo our kitchen solely to get more stone. Our kitchen cabinets received a homemade paint job and some new knobs but It was raised to a new atmosphere of beauty with a new granite countertop and full backsplash. It truly transformed It into something that my wife and I could only dream of or see in magazines. Luis and the installers were precise , courteous and left the house cleaner than It was before they arrived. From start to finish It was a true pleasure dealing with everyone from the staff in the office to the amazing artists cutting and moving the stone. I will never go anywhere else for my countertop. Im not a person that typically writes reviews however, I HAD to for Stonemart. From the moment I stepped in they were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me pick out a new countertop and took the time to explain all the different stones. They have a great selection of Granite, Marble, Quartzite, and Quartz. After checking MANY places and getting various quotes throughout the island, these guys gave me the best price, quality, and overall customer experience. The owner is a really nice guy! I will definitely be using them for all my future projects!
In May 2017 we needed three small pieces of granite for the new shower. Stonemart granite store had a good selection and provided much help to pick the right type. The pieces were cut exactly as promised and on time. The most important though was customer service! We were reckless enough to break 2 pieces out of 3 while driving them home. Came back to store to look for new ones and pay the price but Stonemart guys offered us to repair both pieces free of charge!!!! So they did within one day and they made them looking as never broken! These people really take care of their customers! Highly recommended!

JP stonemart were the only people to show up when they said they were going to. they made our whole construction experience so much easier. they have a yard full of stone that joe sr imports directly from overseas. mostly Brazil and italy. the whole staff was tremendously kind and knowledgeable. they went out of their way to map out the slab and show us not only which slab they were cutting, but which part of the slab was going to be in our kitchen. from top to bottom we have nothing but positive things to say about stonemart. in an imperfect world they were as close to perfect as possible.
I install kitchens and baths and have been a customer for 20+ years... 2019-07-26It’s pretty amazing that they import their own stone from around the world to their yard in SI!! They came to my house with a computer template machine. Let us pick out and map out our own slab to our liking. Installed perfectly. They actually came when they said they were going to come!!! Every other sub we hired never showed up when they said they would. You don’t find too many companies who are honest and have integrity. Stonemart has both!!!

2021-09-23Our cut stone slabs for our kitchen and bathroom arrived this morning. We couldn’t be happier with Stonemart’s product and service. In the past, we had a small piece cut here or there, and Stonemart was always happy to serve us — never blinking an eye at our small ‘trunk fitting’ orders. When we placed a bigger order that included installation their prices remained fair and logical. Joey, the owner, is a second generation businessman who knows his craft as well as how to build an excellent working team. Whether pieces where cut by hand or on their large computer controlled CNC wet saws, everything was done to perfection — beautifully crafted with exacting precision and sublime finishing.Luis and Alfonso who did the installation were super mindful of our home as installation was not a construction site.If you want friendly, knowledgeable, prompt service and excellent product — they can’t be beat! By the way, we bought Calcutta Lincoln Marble.

2018-12-07First of all I have nothing but great things to say about Stonemart. By far the best granite place in NYC and I have lived in all 5 boroughs. To my knowledge they are one of the only shops to be complete (showroom, fabricator, and Installers and yard). The workers there are all wonderful, kind, and experienced. There is no doubt in my mind they follow after their boss. If that does not convince you let me tell you this. They are the Quartzite Kings because they have the most majestic, outstanding, exotic ,elegant Quartzite. Material that no one else has and it is all directly imported from other countries which makes it great. Go to Stonemart!

2021-05-10Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Joe walked us around and explained which type of stone matched our style and why. When they came to measure my countertops, they arrived on time, and sent someone who gave great advice as to how we can make our kitchen as nice as possible, without adding tons of upgrades, just stylistic advice. Super affordable prices as well, considering the product that you’re getting. I would recommend them to everyone.

2021-01-06Kudos to Joe and Johnny for their impeccable work and professionalism. I have used them for their excellent granite work in my 2 bathrooms and both my kitchens. Extremely fair in their prices and their installers are right on the mark. I had an issue with a new slide-in stove and a piece of granite that was no longer needed as a filler behind the stove. They promptly came and removed the extra piece. You can’t ask for better service than that. I highly recommend them!

2020-12-01Honestly saying that they are the best marble shop in Staten Island is really an understatement. Stonemart is probably the best marble shop in NYC. I’ve dealt with other marble shops in the past and they seem like they are too good to do my job. The Stonemart team are friendly & knowledgeable, and their backyard selection is pretty off the hook. No need to travel around to different warehouses and shops, Stonemart is pretty much one stop shopping. The slab you see gets brought inside, cut, and installed in your house. And you only pay for what you take. Win win. Highly recommend the stone king in the north!

The Seams are so good they are almost invisible, you can tell they have been doing this for a long time. Their materials are gorgeous and they Measure with a Precise measuring machine. Get on their schedule EARLY because they are busy, and rightfully so because they are truly stone experts.

2020-09-25I have been a customer of stone mart for nearly 30 years. I am a contractor that does a lot of kitchens and bathrooms. All of my customers are referred to stonemart by me to select their stone. Over all my years in dealing with Joe and all the rest of the staff at stonemart I have always been treated with respect.The quality of the merchandise and the whole process of completing a project has always been pleasurable.

2020-02-23Stonemart has everything you need for custom cut stone. Overall just nice people from to the showroom to the installers. That’s pretty refreshing in this day and age. They held dates for our kitchen counter top and fireplace project which worked perfectly with our contractors time table. Just give them a heads up if you need to pre schedule anything, they might be busy, and rightfully so!
