We buy our spiders from them. So far 4, an Arizona Blonde, a Gooty Metallic Saphire, a Pink Toe and a Dominican Purple. They are doing very well. We also get our pets food and supplies from them. The food, crickets for our spiders and frozen rats and mice for our pythons, are really fresh and affordable. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a great place for serious pet owners.
Bought my Russian Tortoise from them Feb 2022, very nice people. Accommodating, they were patient in answering questions since this is our first time owning a tortoise. They even gave us a little pamphlet they made about basics for Tortoise care (diet, feeding etc.) which is helpful and a nice touch, it shows they care for the well-being of the animal and want to make sure it is cared for properly. I would gladly recommend them if you are looking for a Reptile/Amphibian pet and supplies near Long Island.
A great place for all things reptile. Staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Store is clean and the animals are well taken care of. I purchased a baby mexican black kingsnake from them back in march. This was the first snake Ive ever owned and the staff was very helpful with any questions I had.
This place is the absolute best. From the employees to the customers. My kiddo loves reptiles and we visited Jungle Bobs for the first time today. This place was terrific. They employees allowed my kiddo handle a variety of different animals in the store. We chatted for a little while to learn what type of reptile would be good for her age. We will be coming back for an addition to the family soon. From what I could see the prices are impossible to beat. And when you have a staff like theirs...

Wonderful experience with Jungle Bob’s! Like so many other reviews say, these people really know their stuff and care about the well-being of the animals. Tyler, my bug guide, helped me have patience and wait for the right window of temperature to ship my order of two emperor scorpions. Sadly the story isn’t all happy; they got caught up in a Fed-Ex negligence nightmare that delayed their overnight arrival to five days. Thanks to Jungle Bob’s heat packs and careful packaging/insulation, one scorpling survived against all odds. I was distraught at the loss of the other, but grateful one of them was energetic and thriving. Although I didn’t expect it, this store immediately refunded me for the scorpion who didn’t make it, despite it being the post office’s fault. It’s a shining example of their great customer service. They’re very open to communication, and invited me to call again with any questions about my scorpion friend. I recommend this place to anyone who wants reliable service and quality critters. This place has all the best perks you’d expect from a small business with lots of variety. I’m absolutely in love with the little scorpling (henceforth named Sasori), who’s curiously exploring his big new enclosure. Quite the friendly little one, he even willingly crawled onto my hand just for the sake of climbing me. Would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could!
I love this place. I have an Arizona Blonde Tarantula I got from here and recently bought a baby Bearded Dragon. The staff are so friendly and knowledgable, always willing to answer questions and really know what they are talking about.

This place is genuinely the best Reptile Shop/Pet Store I’ve ever been too. They don’t only sell the animals they genuinely care for them. And although being a pretty big business they treat you with the attention of a small one. Every time I go in there’s a knowledgeable and genuine person up front. They are always polite and open to questions. Almost every time I’m there I’m always able to have one on one time to discuss my pets needs and get there opinion on certain things. You can tell these people really have passion for these animals and really take pride in what they do. My first experience with Jungle Bobs was as a kid when Bob himself hosted one of my birthday parties, and a decade later I still remember it. He didn’t only show the animals but taught us about them with great enthusiasm. They also don’t only breed the animals but they take in rescues too that they genuinely care for. They are always up for rehabilitation and taking a closer look at certain animals. They don’t only have a good selection but they are all housed appropriately which is refreshing to say the least. Please don’t confuse this place with BTJ’s who practically abuse and neglect their animals. With that being said Jungle Bobs is definitely your one stop Reptile Shop

Jungle Bobs is the best pet shop around. Weve been coming here for years and make the trek from Brooklyn. Its well worth the drive for us. A great variety of really cool reptiles amphibians and invertebrates will have you setting up your own zoo before you even know what hits you! They have an excellent variety of feeders. The best part of this place is the staff. Welcoming, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and beyond patient and kind. ! We recommend this place to everyone we know!
I would give this more stars if it wasn’t limited to five. The animals at every enclosure looked amazing. You could tell that a lot of hard work was put into raising them. My leopard gecko has an amazing setup thanks to them and she LOVES IT!!! The greatest thing about Jbs was the service. Everyone looked liked they new what they were doing and definitely wanted to help. Great prices and once again the animals were in amazing condition and were appropriate weight. BTW my leopard gecko says she rates this one hundred stars and she says thank you to jungle bobs. UPDATE I just got a snake from them and his name is Zuko from the show avatar the last airbender. My 9 y/o daughter and I went into Jungle Bobs to buy tiny fruit flies for her praying mantis hatchlings. They were very helpful and we got what we needed. She had been asking for a cool pet for a while and Tyler at Jungle Bobs let her hold a baby bearded dragon. It was love at first sight! They hooked us up with everything we needed and gave us a discount since we were first time customers. My daughter is overjoyed and has spent many hours so far with her new critter. By far one of the best places to go if you want to buy anything reptile related when i first started going there they made me feel so comfortable tyler ,matt, Dylan, and of course adam ...... Ive been going to Jungle Bobs for about 1 ½ years or so now and Ive always left happy and satisfied with the purchases & assistance Ive gotten everytime. Any question Ive had they have always taken their time to make sure i understand & totally satisfied with the help Ive been given. Absolutely love this place when me and my girlfriend visited! I was looking for the right business to support in my search for a bearded dragon, and they seem to have such love and care for the animals and their advice was very helpful so I can raise a lizard to be happy and healthy. They have absolutely everything you need if you own a reptile. My beardie LOVES the subía roaches from here and they gut load all their insects so you don’t have to!! Plus they have this AMAZING snapping turtle that looks like a dead log and has a tongue made to look like a worm and it’s mesmerizing. Super knowledgeable and helpful and friendly.

First off Tyler made my kids day!!! Awesome!Our experience to Jungle Bobs was amazing! We drove nearly 2 hours just to get to this place, there aren’t so many reptile pet stores around and this was one of the nearest ones, also my kids enjoy watching their YouTube videos. From the minute entering the door we were welcomed by Tyler he was so great and patient with my boys and there 1,000 questions he knew we drove from far and made our experience awesome especially the boys he made it super fun and very informative to my kids and enjoyed looking at each reptile an letting them pet and hold some of them (of course with safety measures) in the store along with the million questions that the kids had. Tyler was super great and informative and patient and at no moment did we feel rushed or as if we were bothersome at all (considering we spent probably over 2 hours in the store) and Tyler stuck by my kids the entire time circling over and over each reptile . He brought out Castro which was pretty cool. My kids really enjoyed this place. Not so many places like this left. Tyler was super helpful and helping us out with Bearded Dragons and explaining to my son the “care list” of having one as a pet. Overall this place is awesome and the people who work here know what they are talking about and are caring about the customers and pets. We look forward to a long relationship with these guys once we get our Bearded Dragon!

These guys know what theyre talking about. The store has a huge variety of reptiles and supplies, pretty good prices and always have a way to help. This place has a lot of what the commercial stores dont have and thats actual knowledge of reptiles.Ive been coming here for years and have had jungle bob come to numerous birthday parties that Ive attended.And if you are looking for literally any sized size Zilla tank and cant find it Jungle bobs more than likely will have it. Including any other need you will need to care for your reptile.I will always choose this store to care for my reptiles and get the right knowledge and quality products over Petco or PetSmart any day.
I drove from two hours away with my family and wasnt disappointed one bit!!! Awesome informative staff. Very Helpful. We ended up coming home with a Northern Blue Tongue Skink. Beautiful Creature. All the Animals they had on Display were absolutely Amazing. I wish I lived closer to this Place. Id be going in more often. Highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in reptile. I recently bought a juvenile savannah monitor and he is doing great! Has a great personality as well. He loves food, (as the majority of monitors do lol) and he loves when I scratch his head and back. He’s very active and healthy. I would definitely purchase from here again.

This store is exactly what a pet store should be. Curious. Informative. Clean. Very reasonably priced. I had some complicated things and they handled everything professionally. Very insightful staff. Adam especially. Highly recommend this store. Like many others, it was a drive but well worth it.
My daughter and son-in-law purchased a Uro from this store approximately 6 weeks ago - in good faith and trusting that this animal was being sold healthy and caring for this animal based on the advice of the store personnel. Today, after expending much expense, effort, love and care - they were told by a well respected Vet with over 25 years experience that they had no choice but to put the poor creature down. Not only are my kids heartbroken - but upon reaching out to the store to relate what had transpired - they were met with nasty comments and were made to feel even worse than they already do. Shameful attitude and behaviour

Went in today because we had our tank set up and needed something in it. A young man with brown hair had answered everything i asked and told me in a month or two our beardie will need a bigger tank.He set me up with crickets, a hidden, logs and an awesome juvenile male bearded dragon. Will only go back to this store. Could not be more happy. Cant wait to get the bigger tank and put another reptile in our 20 gallon. THANK YOU JUNGLE BOBS!!
After some research on where to go for our first reptile Jungle Bob’s seemed to be a great choice. They did not disappoint. We ended up going in there one day and asking a ton of questions. We wanted to make sure to do our due diligence and make sure we were ready for a long commitment of owning a snake. Dylan helped us out so much. He didn’t hesitate to answer our questions and didn’t get annoyed when we had more. We didn’t end up purchasing the first day.When we came back the next day he remembered us and answered some more questions. He took out as many snakes as we asked for and we narrowed it down to two. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured, he even let us be for a bit so we can talk amongst ourselves and make our decision. We ended up picking out a baby ball python and purchased it. They offered to hold onto him so we can get everything set up. We brought him home on Friday and thanks to all their advice he’s doing really well and has already gotten acclimated to his new home.Dylan and everyone else were extremely helpful and it’s great to know that we have their support once we bring him home as well. Thanks so much Dylan and the rest of Jungle Bobs. I’m sorry I don’t remember everyone’s name but every person we worked with was very helpful and super friendly.

If youre buying an animal here take it to the vet ASAP! I purchased a uromastyx in early December with my fiancee. I also own a ball python, leopard gecko and blue tongued skink. Jungle Bobs had set a uro aside for me and he looked good to me! I brought him home, caged and fed him on the advice I received at the store and hoped for the best. Over the next few weeks, my uro ate less and less, losing weight and becoming more lethargic. I called for advice and received more of the same, make sure temp/lighting is right (it was), correct food type (it was), correct time of day feeding, etc. Despite my efforts and other research online my uro was not doing well. So today I take it to my reptile vet with over 25 years experience with reptiles, who tells me that my Uro looks to have advanced metabolic bone disease. Given I have only had the uro for 6 weeks and the progression of the disease in the animal, he had to have been sick when sold to me. The vet told me that my best option was to put down my uro who was clearly suffering and seemingly too far gone to recover so I did that. My fiancee reaches out to Jungle Bobs about the situation on instagram and is told off! Tyler told us that his experience and expertise was more qualified than the vet, that we were at fault and that we should have brought the animal to him instead of being put down. He refused to acknowledge any of what the vet said and disputed the MBD on the basis of a 5 second video a month old, refused any further discussion and made me feel worse than I already do. He tried to blame the trip to the vet as causing the uro to feel or seem ill despite the uro going to the vet today after not looking well and my best efforts at the advice of the store to nurture him to health. I admit that we could have been a bit more polite but anything we said was met with rebuttal. I believe they have a return policy if anything happens to your animals health within x amount of days from purchase and they have an amazing selection of animals, so if youre going to buy shell out extra and get to a vet to avoid the headache and heartache I have experienced!

Good prices and very knowledgeable and honest. If an animal is not right for you and your situation they will tell you that. They will tell you what you need not what they want to sell you. If something can wait or is optional or a nice to have they will say that. Cone here before you buy an animal from any chain.

Thanks guysSo turns out they told us a lot of incorrect information and sold us things we shouldnt have bought, unfortunately we learned from a exotic veterinary office that there are quite a few people who were missled by Jungle Bobs very disappointing. Just do your homework before you buy anything- lesson learned.Owner reviewed and asked me what was incorrect-You sold us a baby bearded dragon which was supposed to be 5 months old turns out it wasnt even 3 months old. Length/age determined by specialty vet we went to.You sold us a larger tank then we needed, turns out baby beards only need a small tank so they grow correclty. Same as above, determined by specialty vet we went to.You Sold us live food that was too large for the baby bearded dragon to correclty digest.Same as above .....You sold us a light that was in no where near powerful enough to keep the baby bearded dragon warm enough........ same as above.....Listen we can go back and forth, and I can keep going, all I am saying is be careful, do your homework and make sure you get the right info before you buy.If I am wrong and you want to discuss you have my number on file call me to discuss if not I will stick to my review.Thanks-
Staff are extremely patient, helpful and knowledgeable. You definitely will not get this kind of service at a place like petsmart or petco. I bought a beautiful healthy blue tongue skink from here. Being my first blue tongue, I have lots of questions. They are happy to answer them when I call over the phone or visit in stores, which has been extremely helpful. You should go check out the giant albino snake, I’m not sure what kinda but it’s huge. And all the other awesome animals they have

Really nice small shop for reptiles (and amphibians like dart frogs, tarantulas, and scorpions). Lots of snakes and lizards plus large selection of terrarium setups and supplies as well as reptile and snake food. Friendly, knowledgeable staff happy to answer all of your questions.
Best reptile shop around. They almost always have worms and food for my friends pet dragons and tegu. If they dont they usually get them in within a few days. Everyone there is nice and professional. The reptiles are definitely well cared for. Ive seen pet stores that are unkempt and dirty but this place is clean and the reptiles I can bet are happy and healthy. One of my friends recently bought a snake and its doing great. Ty to the staff here for everything, superworms are a must!
Had another great experience here. My leopard gecko had a cut next to her eye that was getting worse, before bringing her to a vet I brought her to Jungle Bobs in Selden because I knew theyd either be able to help me or refer me to a vet that has experience in reptiles (hard to find) luckily they were able to clear out her eye and told me what to do to help her get better. They are awesome here and I also get my geckos food here as well and they live longer than any crickets Ive gotten anywhere else. I definitely recommend people go here for all their reptile needs !

Jungle Bobs is THE BEST store on Long Island. It has a huge variety and selection of reptiles, and the staff is great; they are very helpful and experienced. All the animals there are very well kept, and the tanks are all very decorated and designed very well. Also, the crocodile monitor and the rock iguana are 👍👍👍 awesome. The bearded dragons were also very friendly 😄. I mostly just go to look at all of the reptiles, rather than going to buy things. This is definitely the best store on Long Island.
The staff at the Selden store were very friendly and helpful and Avi, my blue tongue skink I picked up from them just a few days ago seems nice and healthy.However, like most things, theyre not perfect. First is the pricing. Avi whos a 4 month old baby cost me $599. Ive since found other breeders by talking to other people in the reptile hobby that sell baby northerns at lower price points like $350, and only charge $600 or more for ready-to-breed adults. They also pushed the premade tegu and blue tongue food, but again, after conversing with other reptile hobbyists, I was informed that those foods have relatively low quality filler ingredients like grain. Youre better off with high quality grain free dog food for blue tongues. For supplies for your pets enclosure, youre also better off just ordering them online on Amazon and such, as theyre noticeably more expensive in the store.Overall? Id recommend them if you dont want to buy online and risk shipping live animals or want to get them quickly but bear in mind for their skinks at the very least, theyre a pricier place than breeders you can find online.However, to be fair, Ive found that pricing for skinks can be very inconsistent. Ive seen northern babies go for the $500 range from some people as well, and Ive definitely noticed their tegus are priced the same as other places. So it may be a per animal thing.In the end, I think theyre a trustworthy source to get captive bred reptiles.

Bought a ball python from here and took it home. Noticed the snake was making noises and had tons of saliva coming out of its mouth. Called the store the next day to tell them and find out what was wrong with it they informed me it was fine and that i should give the snake some time to adjust to its new environment. Gave it 2 weeks and went to a vet and was told the snake had a bad respiratory infection that was severe and was probably left untreated for a month or two. I notified the store in selden where i purchased it. I told them that the snake was very sick and that they sold me a sick snake. They told me to come in and they would have their vet look at the snake and treat it. I left it there for almost 4 weeks and was told conflicting stories as to what was going on. One lady told me a vet was coming and to call Saturday. when i called Saturday the guy answered and then told me the snake was already on his 5th day of treatment. Came to pick up the snake and he was even worse than when i left him and they did not bother to try and feed him at all during the 4 weeks he was there. There excuse was he was shedding or that he needed to be on an empty stomach for the treatment. The snake passed away on our way home after picking him up. Now im down $200 and they dont even offer to give you your money back after selling a sick snake.

Coming from Yonkers to finally show up was dam well worth the trip.i was like a kid in a candy store well stocked very awesome selection of food for my dragons.the prices were awesome and the selection of reptiles they had was insane . They are the best in the eastern Suffolk area.They sold me a crested gecko and gave all the info and stuff I needed.They have bin around for many years I bought lizards from them back in the 90s when I was a kid they were great back then too. BEST SHOP ON LONG ISLAND!!! Yesterday I went to the new store in Selden to get a Russian Tortoise. All the people were so smart, and helpful. The people who work their live what they do. I am a first time reptile owner, and they gave me the best advice. They helped me find everything that I needed, and gave advice on what to feed it. The tortoise is doing amazing. Jungle Bobs really take good care of the animals. If you want any reptile, you have to go the Jungle Bobs.
Went here for the first time 3 days ago looking for a local place that sells tarantulas and dubias (1 hour drive is local lol), came here again yesterday, both times good experience. Guys were pleasant and professional and assisted me with minor issue i needed help with. Just found my go to place for Ts and feeder insects (though for feeders i think Ill just have it shipped instead of driving 40 miles lol)
Jungle Bobs is the one place I can have a conversation with people that actually know what they are talking about!! This store is my happy place where I just relax. Today will be my third time going and certainly not last. My crested would not eat and the employee told me everything I needed to know and she eats like a champ. Her brother that I just got had the same problem, but since going there, I have had no problems with my lizards.
The staff here are very knowledgeable about the care for the animals. Dont bulk order crickets online from others, my beardie got very sick. Never had issues with this place. (Parrot not from there, beardie is).
I caught an orange box turtle before I stepped on it in my backyard, and I came here to get it some food before I released it back into the wild. The clerk was extremely knowledgeable, and pointed me in the right direction as to the appropriate food source. Id definitely consider coming back here to purchase a pet, seek knowledge on a particular animal, or to purchase some things for any pet I come across.
Staff member Tyler took a large amount of time to patiently explain the subtleties between snake species of interest. He was in no way pushy and allowed me to handle the snakes. Overall he made the experience very comfortable and educational.
I purchased a baby, two month old ball python from here. They sold me all the wrong things, wood chips, a small water bowl, a plastic hideaway, a big heat lamp. The substrate can splinter them and if ingested can hurt them internally. The heat lamp is too big for the size of the tank resulting in no cooling side for her. The water bowl is too small for her size to soak in which is important for their hydration and shedding. Due to the improper habitat she hasnt eaten since Ive taken her home. All they want to know is IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH HER? If there isnt are you willing to wait until there is something medically wrong? All they told me was i was taught by breeders, this isnt wrong. Well according to various snake owners, and a veterinarian you are wrong.They do not know what they are doing here. They take full ADVANTAGE of new reptile owners. I will NEVER go back.
Yes, they have exotic reptiles. No, you shouldnt get one instead of a puppy. The animals are happy and healthy, and Jungle Bobs presence is very known

Went here for frozen mice. as a first time owner of a snake i needed alot of things and didnt even know where to begin. When i walked in a man with long white hair asked what i needed. i told him im here to buy some frozen mice. he didnt even respond back just shifted his attention and walked away. i had to ask him again after finding him, where he did the same thing. Finally got my product asked him how to feed, he told me to just feed it in the same tank it lives in, which online and EVER pet owner and store strongly advises against. Also spoke to the other pet stores in the immediate area, apparently jungle bob is infamous for a large amount of pets that die shortly after receiving the pet. If you know what you are looking for i think its a great store. seems to have everything you need. But dont except any real help, i know i am taking my business elsewhere from now on and will strongly advise everyone else to do the same.

It was my first time there, told the guy behind the counter what i wanted, he got it for me. he asked if i wanted anything else, i said yes and took less than 10 seconds to grab what i needed. Came back, the guy was gone. So I waited. Couple minutes goes by, the same guy comes back out to the register and started ringing up the next person in line. I wasnt about to go in the back on the line, so I left. Thanks for nothing.

My Fiancé and I love coming in to jungle bobs. Even if we arent buying anything we love to just come in and interact with all the animals. They also have feeder insects that most places dont! Always a great experience at jungle bobs and will always be our preferred place to shop for our reptile needs!!
Helpful and friendly staff. The gentleman that helps us was very knowledgeable. Lots of pets to choose. There are so many more varieties of products you can feed and give your reptile pets.
They have a great selection of reptiles but besides the snakes the other lizards are treated poorly. I am a Bearded dragon expert. I know how to handle and take care of bearded dragons. They are not suppose to be cage together no matter what. Only for breeding and when they are very young. The cages are so small that they put them in. I can go on here. I wouldnt buy lizards from this place go to a breeder. Also for the people who dont know that theyre many types of bearded dragons. The ones they have at jungles Bobs arent good. You want to go for hypos when getting a bearded dragon

Lizards all over the place going left and right and every which direction. Lost of scaley things here and they have a crocodile and a alligator snapping tortoise. They have cool amphibious tree lizards and also sell a lot of rats too but they have to stop putting the rats in with the lizards in same cage the lizard end up eating the rat really not nice :((((( lot of lizard making me think they need more prawns.
The most terrifying and exciting happened to my beautiful stepdaughter. She wanted to hold a snake, they handed her a small snake. She asked if she can hold a larger snake, they handed me the larger snake and I held it with her. Then, the snake suddenly darted to the left and my stepdaughter, who was on my right, flinched and her hand went up fast and she got bit. Nobody panicked. I handed the snake back. She cried but after I cleaned her up and bandaged her pinky, I assured her it wasnt venomous, she kept asking if she was going to get sick. She was EXCITED because how many kids in her, upcoming, 5th grade class have been bit by a snake. She cant wait to share what happened. They have her a t shirt, she stayed away from the one with the snakes. She chose of with dragonflies. It really wasnt, totally, a bad experience, if an exciting story comes out of it. We are planning to visit again next month. She promises to stay still and keep her hands down. 💗
Matt & Dillion are amazing , before taking my beardie to a vet ( who they also were going to help me find one that specializes in bearded dragons) they offered to take a look at my daisy to maybe save me a few bucks in vet fees , I got peace of mind and they explained to me they not only was daisy ok but her troubles were very common , thanks guys

Wish I had pleasant things to say about this establishment unfortunately I do not. They are suppose to know what they are doing when it comes to identifying the gender of the animals they sell and yet they sold a full grown male spider as a young female. Whether this was something they did intentionally or not makes no difference because they are either purposely taking advantage of people or are just stupid. Sadly being unfamiliar with the growth rates and taking their word at face value we ended up only getting a short time with our tarantula which breaks my heart. Please dont take the risk of going there, do as much research on the animals as you can and speak to other people on forms. Jungle bobs is a garbage store. I would never go back there nor would I advise anyone else to go there.

I bought a claw frog from them .....she is really cool went to 12 places and she was the last one anywhere. My frogs mate died from dropsy 3 weeks ago and he is very happy now. ...maybe he will stop eating all the fish now

I purchased three black hide boxes online from Jungle Bobs (2 large and 1 medium). The 2 large hides had a Jungle Bobs sticker on the top of each of them. After trying to take it off with soap and sponge after letting it soak, there is still a residue that wont come off. Now I am left with hides with imperfections due to their poor sticker placement choice. Just a heads up if you are ordering items for display, that they will come with this sticker and it will not peel cleanly. Disappointing experience.

I’m just gonna give it a bad review due to the amount of disrespect these people give when responding to those who have negative viewpoints of the place. Certainly not good in the viewpoint of customer service. On top of that, the way Jungle Bob handles Pacman frogs (as shown on the HowCast video on youtube if that’s whom Jungle Bob is) is completely disgusting. Also, as previously mentioned, sand is harmful to the animals and WILL cause impaction. These animals don’t need a desert environment as observed in the wild they live in rocky deserts, not sandy ones. It is a known fact backed up by plenty of evidence that they will become impacted by accidentally eating the sand but pet stores would rather make money by selling the sand, even if it harms the reptile. People at petco and petsmart have “experience” but it doesn’t necessarily make them right, as many people get things wrong. It would be something to forgive if it weren’t for the rude way these people respond to genuine criticisms.
Awesome place. You couldnt find another place thats all about reptiles. They are not just a store trying to sell, they help you and teach you. They helped us with our sick turtle
I like getting reptiles there but I dont like how all there reptiles are crammed a lot of there animals there. They use sand as a substrate which makes the reptiles sick and ill. I bought bearded dragon there last year on my birthday about a few weeks later the female bearded dragon got a yellow fungus disease. Also they left there leopard geckos in sand and which gives them sand impaction in there stomach and they cant go to the bathroom it was before I knew this, they gave me inaccurate information in very displeased the female bearded dragon had passed away last week because of her illness that she had.
Plenty of awesome reptiles to see and a good supply of habitat care and maintainence items! Bought some mice for my ball python and she loves them, so... Yea =) happy snake!

Famous place on Google Maps went to it for a specific type of food and was absolutely mind-blowing the place is humongous they have anything and everything that you could ever need for your reptile the animals are very healthy and also the pricing is very cheap I found things online that were more expensive than the store the guy at the front desk was very knowledgeable and also very helpful I will definitely be going back to this place when I run out I need more stuff for my tank I recommend you do the same awesome store

2022-01-09We drove 30 minutes to Jungle Bobs, and it was absolutely worth the drive. They have a huge selection of both animals and supplies and are immensely knowledgeable. Dylan spent over an hour with us, had unending patience, let my daughter hold what felt like EVERYTHING, before introducing her to a beautiful little pink corn snake and getting us set up with everything we need to take care of her. Thank you again to Dylan for your patience and kindness, and for letting a little girl hold at least half a dozen delicate young reptiles without any hesitation. You made my little girl very, very happy.

The staff at Jungle Bob’s has walked us through the process and are responsible for our success with our baby bearded dragon. He answered every question I had with ease, and was so so sweet. They are very passionate and knowledgeable about all the reptiles they have. The store is very clean and all reptiles are well taken care of. They have just about anything you can think of as far as supplies go. I recommend stopping in here atleast once, you will be amazed.

2021-06-23I originally started coming here to get supplemental bugs and frozen pinky mice for my hedgehog and I was impressed. You can genuinely tell the staff care about the animals as I have had one gentleman (I feel so bad for not knowing his name.) take the time to explain the differences/risks in feeding frozen vs live from one mammal to another. He also answered all my questions about tarantulas (as I had always wanted one) and helped me pick out a Chaco Golden Knee as I asked for one that would be good for a first timer.I recently purchased a ball python and when I came into the store to get the live fuzzy mice for her, I had another gentleman not only answer my questions but actively show me products as examples when asked about upgrading my tarantulas enclosure as its in a small condiment container and dont want it to get harmed.I cant say enough good things about Jungle Bobs and will continue to go to and recommend the shop to people (IE a guy I met in Petsmart was looking at stuff for a bearded dragon he was purchasing and just directed him to JBs) because the shop and its staff care about what they do and will tell you whats in the best interest of the animal rather than advice to just make money.Thanks from me and my interesting little family!

2022-06-09In comparison to other pet shops, it has very good customer service, has a diverse range of exotics, good feeders, and the prices are very great. I would actually recommend going to this store in comparison to going to Petsmart/Petco/Petland, etc. The only thing I would say is that their tarantula slings (the size of a penny/dime/smaller) dont last very long.

2020-10-14Pleasantly surprised by the knowledge and patience shown to my son. We were curious if a Gecko was a good addition to our family. All of my sons questions were answered and he fell in love with his new pet Gecko. I highly recommend Jungle Bobs Reptile World.
