KD is the best choice for anyone in NYC/Long Island looking to move large furniture that will not fit easily through doors. They moved my sofabed to my new apartment by taking it apart and putting it back together and also took care of my other furniture and boxes. 3 years ago, I bought the same sofabed and it wouldn’t fit through my apartment’s front door. They were sent to take it apart and did a great job. Now 3 years later, they were right there again to help again. Anastasio and his crew were professional, friendly and easy to communicate with during the whole moving process.

I could not for the life of me get my sofa into my apartment. It would not fit in the door--and was stranded outside on the patio for two days as one handyman after another tried to disassemble it. Eventually I got Anastasios contact information from Crate and Barrel, who make the sofa. He picked up the phone -- at night -- and was incredibly gracious and accommodating. Understanding the urgency of my situation (a sofa stranded in the rain in the middle of Brooklyn) he carved out time in his full schedule and went above and beyond to get my sofa in the apartment -- going so far as to remove two doors and then put them back on! He couldnt have been nicer, and i am so happy to recommend KD Furniture Services. A diamond in the rough.

Amazing job by KD. They were able to get my 64inch chest in the bedroom upstairs when Raymour and Flanigan couldnt actually didnt even try. The 2 of them hoisted it up with a rope and ladder. The furniture went right in thru the window no mess, no scratches, and great price! Made it look easy.

The job of disassembling and reassembling my sofa was done expeditiously, and most importantly without damaging my furniture.The men were extremely careful with my sofa, kept the workspace neat, and cleaned up before they left. They were professional and pleasant, and I am going to do business with them again.

Amazing job disassembling and reassembling my sofa. They actually fixed and improved some of the manufacturer defects from our brand new Raymour and Flanigan sofa. Highly recommend.

Sold my house. Had one day left to vacate and I couldn’t get my couch out due to some design changes to the home. They came quickly, meticulously removed some of the upholstery, disassembled part of the couch and got it out without a problem. I honestly was nervous at first when they were taking it apart that it would look awful afterwards but they put it back together perfectly. Couldn’t be happier! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Thanks guys
