I just purchased a house and I can tell that it was kind of a painful process, for several reasons (COVID19, Sellers attorney was not responsive, etc.). Mark was very helpful and professional throughout the process. He helped us to understand the problems, he was calm and communicative, he was there when we had questions, and he was overall very professional. He gave me legal advice on other issues as well, and he was calm when I was going crazy. His services are highly recommended.
I learned about Kand Real Estate Law through google search after reading all the positive reviews and it turned out to be the best decision we made through out our home purchasing process.Mark Kand is the attorney we worked with and he is very professional, efficient and personal at the same time. The initial consultation call was very informative and promising. After comparing a couple of other real estate law firms, I decided to go with Kand. They set us up really quickly and started the process right away.Our case was complicated and there was a lot of drama and back and forth with our bank, seller attorney and other parties who were involved. We had to work with another lending institute due to some unexpected reasons with the first bank and Mark and his team worked with us through out the entire process with efficiency and professionalism.It was a long process and they were there to help. They were prompt in answering emails and my questions in a very easy way to understand given that we have no experience in this field.One thing specifically, we had some unexpected issues at the closing table and Mark was able to solve them really quickly without having to reschedule the closing which was not easy to coordinate to begin with.He knows what he is doing and thinks for the benefit of his client. You really need a lawyer who not only does what he/she is supposed to do but goes above and beyond because there are always going to be unexpected situations when you will feel lost and anxious. Mark is one of those lawyers. We highly recommend his legal service. He will make your experience much easier!
If you are looking for a knowledgeable real estate attorney that will get the job done efficiently and quickly, Mark is your guy. I was able to close on a coop purchase in a month and a half (time the offer was accepted to closing). When I first spoke to Mark, I told him I wanted to close as fast as possible and he did his part to make that happen. As a first time home buyer, I never felt like I didn’t know what was going on because Mark also did a good job of keeping me updated and answering any questions I had. Mark has a calm demeanor and is always willing to answer any calls or questions. Would recommend.

From the beginning, Mark was there to answer any questions we had, give his honest opinion about any contracts we signed, and demonstrated the entire time that he had our best interest at heart.
