My friend bought a Ford Focus from Kane Motors in March of this year . She started having problems shortly after and took it to A dealership and they told her that wherever she got the car from sold her a bad car because there was no fluids or oils in the car and the transmission has been gone on the car .
I bought a beautiful Ford Fusion in March 2020. It has been a great vehicle! Kane was so helpful! I plan to go back.

Charlie Kane is very friendly, which is what tricked me. I genuinely thought he was a truthful man who cared about his customers, but I was wrong. I’m 16 years old and I wanted my first car so I go there is I see a 2004 ford ranger that I like. I went in to talk to him and he said the truck was in perfect condition and just passed inspection, so I bought it. Found out a week later, the frame was shot, the bed was about to fall off, and the gas tank was just hanging on by a thread. I could have been seriously injuring this truck. Charlie Kane is a conman

I bought a used VW that lost its transmission after 60 days and Kane would do nothing to help me. They assured me that the car was in great shape and that they check them out. Buyer Beware - have the car checked by a professional mechanic.
Terrible way to run a business, asked if he needed a down payment to hold a car so it could be looked at by a mechanic and he says no no don’t worry about, next day tells us that someone put a down payment on the car and it’s his now... his word means nothing
Horrible. Read all of the 1 Star feedbacks! Went a long way to get there. Place was closed at 4pm! Called and Charlie was curt and quite rude, but had a salesman stop by. Took a vehicle out that had a miss in it, and check engine light came on. Called me back the next day and when I told him I had already bought a vehicle elsewhere he sarcastically said Good luck, and then rudely hung up on me. Charlie is a very rude man, plain and simple. Terrible business etiquette.
Very bad the car drives good off the lot then the next month it has lots of problems and Charlie dont want any part of it. DONT BUY FROM KANE ALL HE ONLY SELLS lemons

AVOID THIS PLACE like the plague! I purchased a hyundai accent from them years ago and it was a total ripoff, lasted just long enough to pass the lemon law deadline....then I blew a piston in the car and it was too expensive to fix. This was when I was working in a grocery store as a teen and saved up what I had to buy what looked like a great deal at $3k...too good to be true. They acted like it wasnt their problem, although I only had the car for a few months...if you do purchase from here please utilize mechanic to take a second look, I have heard horror stories from others when I told the story of my car. I would advise anyone to stay FAR away from this place, I personally threw $3000 down the drain dealing with them and received no sympathy. Have heard from others about cars becoming junk within a year or less, I guess with some deals you get what you pay for.
Wouldn’t even give it the one star. Charlie rushes you through your questions rushes you to make the purchase talks over you. Tells you a mechanic can look at it but rushes you saying someone else is buying it. Tells you the warranty will cover the major fails such as transmission engine etc. My transmission needed to be replaced within 3 months. Took a month to deal with the warranty company who is as unprofessional as he is and then they barely cover anything had to put another 2500 in and when I get a diagnostic done I still am looking at another 2000 in repairs for it to even pass it’s next inspection. When contacted about the car and the warranty company issues Charlie is rude, unhelpful, and blatantly lied about his contact with the company.Needs to be shut down he’s a scam artist.

BUYER BEWARE: I bought a used truck from Charlie, he will tell you anything to sell you a vehicle. I thought I was getting a good truck at a good price took it to my mechanic and the frame, transmission and power steering lines were shot. Charlie assured me it would be fixed correctly and tack welded the frame and handed it back. Just got a $1200 bill from my mechanic to get the vehicle on the road. Needless to say worst car buying experience Ive ever had!
This place doesnt even deserve 1 star. Never in my life have I ever seen such unprofessional business owners. To anyone searching to buy a car I definitely DO NOT recommend this place. They will assure you a car is in wonderful shape, and that it runs like, a champ. Only to find out a month later that your axles are shot, your transmission is shot, and/or the engine seizes. They dont do any kind of warranties on the vehicles they sell, which should be a red flag for anyone, because if a Dealership wont honor a warranty then, that can be a sure fire sign that those cars are most likely Lemons, and they dont want to be held responsible for hundreds of dollars in repairs. If you call the owner, he will refuse to fix any, and all problems with your car. These people knowingly sell defective vehicles to innocent people, with children. This place is all about the money, and couldnt give a damn about the customers they are putting in danger. DRIVERS BEWARE!
Bought a car from the YARD GUY not the owner, Guy was a real prick. would never buy from this NASTY RUDE guy again. Spent close to 4 k on the car to get it going for my daughter. Would not honor NYS 1000mile or 30 day warranty. BE CAREFULL WITH THE SALES GUY.

We have bought over 12 cars in our lifetime and delt with numerous dealerships. Kane Motors has by far been the best experience weve ever had! Charlie, the owner is always available, took care of everything and did it all in such a timely manor! He treats us like family. For those negative reviews I think you maybe referring to the previous lot he owned just a few blocks down, that lot has no affiliation to Kane Motors and I also agree that their business tactics are not ideal.

Im here leaving this review based on not only my experience, but the experience of my family. We have all on separate occasions at different points in time bought a total of 4 vehicles from Kane motors, specifically Charlie. The vehicles are as listed. Ford Taurus wagon, 2003 Jeep Liberty, 2006 Monte Carlo SS, 1993 Toyota Corolla (My personal car). The Jeep, Corolla, and Monte Carlo are driven daily since purchase with no issues. The only issues over time was a sensor on the Monte Carlo, and an axle on the corolla. These are used cars. They run into issues. The mechanic Craig was always kind, and accommodating when dealing with him. I have now owned this corolla for 6 months, and will never get rid of it. Bought it with 58,500 miles. Shes hitting 65,000 at the end of this month with no issues. When I graduate from DCC at the end of the year, Ill be putting some tax money down to buy a small truck from them. Go take a look at both lots. You may just find something you like.

I understand that buying a used care takes time, research and care in choosing a good one. I bought a Honda Accord EX, one owner with high miles for $4995 from Charlie and it has been worth every penny. I have had it for three years, put nearly 50,000 miles on it, and am still driving it today. I have changed the oil regularly and have had no major issues. If you are concerned about repairs then definitely spend the extra money and buy the extended warranty.

2022-04-25They may have nice cars but they only worried about making a sale at the end of the day. Once you pay them for the vehicle and warranty - you’re better off going with a dealership and paying the extra for a car that performs to quality and actually lasts.

Charlie is an awesome guy got to talk with him a little on friendly level during the time I was there going over the car and talking to him about price. This car Ive had just over a month just over 3k miles since owned it and loving the car. If you need a car give him a try this is my first car from him and so far very happy.

2020-11-12A little rough around the edges, however, sold me a solid truck at a fair price. Some may find his personality a little rude, but as a business owner I understand getting right to the point. Not that it’s my style, but don’t let that deter you from checking out his cars.

2020-08-01Would not recommend this dealer. Was at the bank where they overheard the conversation while finalizing the loan. Stated that the dealer wasnt following normal business practices when selling a car or working with them. Dealer was saying that we could just switch over the plates from a car that still needed to have them on. Bank stated to us as are insurance company this couldnt happen and would be against the lien of the car for trade in. Dealer stated the bank wouldnt know when on the phone with my wife. Bank stated they would and this wasnt a deal that we should close. This might be an isolated case of an issue but I cant recommend the dealer due to this experience.
