I went for a consultation and the artist said he’d call me back to either squeeze me in or schedule an appointment and he didn’t. It’s been a whole week and I haven’t heard anything. I waited more than an hour to even meet with any artist available there. It’s a shop full of young people who don’t have any regard for professionalism. They told me they would follow up with me and didn’t. All I expected was for them to keep their word and for Professionalism and they couldn’t even do that.
WOW!!! Brought my 3 daughters (12, 9 & 6) to have their ears pierced and could not have had a better experience! Place was spotlessly clean, the entire process was completely sanitary and extreme care was taken with getting the best results possible, all while kapital went out of his way to put the girls at ease. Outstanding!!!
Kelvin is just awesome. He really cares about his costumers. I went in to get my belly pierced and I was very scared. Kelvin made me feel reassured that I would be okay. To make a long story short he definitely took care of me and very fast. His friendly demeanor makes him very approachable. He was very clear and concise on things that I had to do to take care of my piercing. If I become brave enough again I would definitely get another piercing with him. Definitely recommendable!
Early October Birthday treats for my daughter and I. She got her belly pierced by Kelvin and Jerry added to one of my tattoos. My sister also got an ear piercing by Kelvin. The salon was cozy, intimate and clean. Giselle was warm and welcoming. Kelvin was attentive and caring with my daughter’s and my sister’s piercing throughout the entire process 🤎. Jerry was also attentive and patient with my tattoo addition. We had a great time, laughs and great energy! We would definitely recommend and return for future services!

Legit one of the best piercing experiences I’ve ever had! Kelvin is an amazing piercer and really takes his time and shows he cares about the client and the piercing!!! I got the bridge of my nose pierced he made sure the piercing was perfect placement and straight. The environment is love and good vibes. I had an Amazinggggg Experience ! Kelvin was an abundance of Great Energy! He was also Very Professional! I didn’t have an appointment . I just walked in . And was worked on in a timely manner . I felt at ease from the moment I walked into the establishment . I got my navel and nose pierced. Kelvin took his time to ensure my piercings were properly aligned and fitting to me . I was beyond flattered by his work! Very Charismatic he made sure to keep all his clients (including myself ) engaged in various conversations! The Shop was very clean . He used New Tools that we’re sterilized . Kelvin is definitely very passionate about his work . And it showed. Not once did he give me any reason to doubt his abilities. I will definitely be returning !

I got my nose pierced here approx 6 to 7 months ago. They were very friendly and welcoming. I think this is a new location (when I went in they were still setting up some stuff). I might pop in for a tattoo consultation!
I took my daughter for a nose piercing and everything worked out great. We called ahead so he knew expect us. Kelvin made my daughter feel comfortable, he was very professional and sanitary. He even apologized for making her eyes water. The prices are very competitive. My daughter is extremely happy with her piercing. We didnt know what to expect and left very happy.
I first went to get a piercing which healed greatly and they were all so professional and friendly I knew I’d be back . Just got a tattoo today with Gerardo he did a great job with my tatt !!! I love it , and he was not only professional but I saw him clean and prep everything right in front of me as well as open new needle and clean tools as well . The manager Giselle is just wonderful she’s so pleasant , professional these people all have great energy and professionalism they also try to be flexible with appts . worth every Penny I highly recommend !!! You pay for quality not to upkeep a boujie shop.trust me Go there for your tatts and piercings I genuinely give them 5 stars
Best piercing shop I have been to. The staff was so amazing and welcoming when I arrived. It’s a comfortable environment and they are great people to talk to if you are nervous. They distracted me made me smile and feel comfortable while getting my piercing. I would definitely recommend this shop!
We had a great experience with Kapital! My friend and I wanted to get nose piercings, and he did a great job. Kapital was thorough in explaining what to expect, incredibly careful in his work, and we felt so welcomed. Dont let the location fool you, this place is clean, well kept, and sterile. Amazing work. Wanted both earlobes pierced for the first time and he delivered with ease. As soon as you walk in he makes you feel welcomed and ask questions to make each customer relaxed. Our conversations during the process really eased my anxiety. He’s very careful and let’s you know what he is doing step by step so you’re more involved with the process of your piercings. Kelvin is an expert at what he does. He really lives up to the reviews! Due to his character and knowledge I felt completely comfortable at his shop. I got my nipples and nose pierced. I tried to call and get a second piercings on my ears, but was having a hard time finding the store location (between 175/176 on Audubon). I called the number on google and informed the owner that I was trying to find his location. He told me that he only took appointments then proceeded to ask if I was in nyc or Miami, to which I obviously respond NYC to and he says “oh sorry, I’m in Miami” and then just hangs the phone up on me. I guess no piercing for me 😂 smh
The piercer was so kind and helpful. I had my ear pierced elsewhere and it got infected. I called the shop about two hours before closing and after telling him what happened, he saw me in 30 mins. I will definitely go there to get pierced next time. Thank you so much!
I went here on 3/31/18 to get my nipples pierced. Kelvin could tell how nervous I was and talked me through the whole process. I brought a friend to help calm my nerves and all three of us had a conversation while he was piercing me. One thing I noticed was that he took his time to make sure the piercings were correctly aligned and straight. Took him an extra 5 minutes just to do that but I appreciated it in the end. He was very clean. He also gave me a lot of confidence that my body is beautiful the way it is, and that’s the first step when it comes to body modification. After he was done, he spoke to me about how to clean it. Overall, 10/10 for the experience and the piercings. They definitely hurt. But not as badly as you’d think. I say the pain level was 6/10, and I’m someone who can’t tolerate pain all that well. They were worth it for me. And I’m going back to do my tattoo.

I was 1/3 customers on Tuesday night. My piercing plan was shifted and Kelvin found a suitable location for my piercing. It hurt like hell but he was clean, careful and patient with my undecided mind. Thanks again!!!!

Kapital was so kind! I was in a time crunch and he stopped what he was doing to pierce my nose. He explained the process very thoroughly. He was very professional, very sanitary. Called to ask if he was available for a walk-in before showing up in case he was busy or not at the shop. Kapital and girlfriend were comforting and accommodating asking if I was okay throughout the whole process. Went in for my daith piercing and I love it! Cant wait to go back for more piercings

I got my nose pierced yesterday and it was an amazing experience they were so nice kelvin did my piercing and Giselle was so helpful they both explained the process and any questions we had and it was just overall amazing their so nice so kind and I would definitely go back if I ever got another piercing or anything I strongly recommend this place it’s was awesome.

Great little hidden jem in the Heights. I was itching for a few new piercings so I turned to google. This place had great reviews so I checed it out. Walk through the barbershop, down the stairs, then open the door. It is closed off from the barbershop so it is clean and also air conditioned. Nice atmosphere when you walk in. They are very friendly and professional, while keeping it fun. He took his time laying out all of the sterilized equipment he was going to need. Also took the time to make sure everything lined up perfectly. 10/10 Ill def go back for any other future piercings

I live on the upper East side of NYC on 83rd street and rarely if ever go to Washington heights. But Im so glad I did. This is a great business and Kelvin is amazing and talented. Kapital was very personable and knowledgeable. I told him I wanted my old piercings back; he said rather than repiercing those areas he’s going to use a gage and make sure they aren’t closed rather than repiercing stuff that are open. I also got a new piercing and he made me comfortable while I was nervous. He’s really there for his customers rather than looking out for self. Anything I want done, I’m definitely going back to him. He’s very kind and compassionate.
To be honest this is the most unprofessional guy I’ve met. Weeks ago I called and I said I will pass by for a piercing. I showed up at 9pm and the whole shop was closed even though it says 12am. I called home multiple times but he did now answer. The following week I called and let him know again. I show up at 8pm and the shop was open but one of the barbers told me that he left long ago and told me he never stays this long. I was so disappointed cause why say on here you close at 12 am and let people call u knowing that your a lazy person that can’t stay that long. I ended up going to a piercing store a few blocks down and they pierced my nose more than perfect. In conclusion, laziest person I’ve met would let a person like this touch my body.
Kelvin was a knight in shining armor! I came in with two infected forward helixes and a conch piercing that was never fully pierced! He was so kind and professional and took excellent care of my ear. My piercings are currently in the healing process. I am so thankful and only wish I couldve found him sooner
Okay, I dont know what that last dude was talking about but my WALK-IN experience was great!! Was in town and decided to get a last minute tattoo, found kapital piercings and they were simply outstanding. The environment was laid back and humorous. Kelvin was knowledgable in his work and had very relaxing hands. Was filled with laughs and smiles, which whom were also produced by Giselle and Frank. Not only do they make sure you are happy with their work but they also make your experience a priority. Nonetheless, a memorable time. Definetly going to visit if Im ever in the area.

I was told at work I needed to remove my thermo face pericing. I was gonna have to go to the emergency room and pay $2000 😫. I called Calvin and he said he will remove it for $20!!!, that’s amazing. Got a tattoo randomly with a good friend and honestly I had 5 tattoos and i have always experienced the pain of getting one. Today i get my 6th tattoo and the tattoo artist was so gently with the needles that I honestly at one point didnt think he was tattooing and when he told me he was done I was very surprised. He was a total gentleman. Would definitely go again if I am in the area

You are obviously confused on who this is and I’m probably not the first person to deal with this since you are confused on who it is. Read what I said carefully I told you this was a few weeks ago. A few weeks ago I CALLED and made a appointment that we agreed to. when I showed up you wasn’t there. And the second time the same thing happened and you wasn’t there and a barber told me you always leave early. I bother to research more of this sad business and found u on social media and noticed how unhumble you are. You are right I don’t know you to be calling you lazy but I do know that if your words was as good as your skills you would have a huge business. It’s funny cause reading through your reviews I see a woman dealt with almost the same thing. Speak with your work kid. You are a one man band but that don’t mean other people have to be effected by that. Simply just change your time on google or call your customers and let them know before hand you have things to do. Came to the shop, had to wade through piles of cut hair on the floor only to find that the attendant was out and shop was closed during its listed work hours. Tried calling three times and it went to voicemail. Im all about supporting community businesses but this may not be one Id like to support. If youre traveling from far, and dont have an appointment- save yourself the trip and go somewhere else for a walk in.

2022-07-08I went in yesterday for my 13th piercing and man was I blown away by the customer service! Kelvin is very knowledgeable, friendly and gentle. His wife works along side him and was also a joy to be around. I went to get the rook piercing and was alittle hesitant due to location.Dont let the shop location fool you, it is clean and professional all around. I truly cant wait for them to relocate and blow the competition out of the water, with their services, prices and friendliness I look forward to going back!

The shop is very clean and he is very detailed. My sister got a rook and tragus piercing and I got my nose pierced. I will definitely be coming back for some more work!

2019-08-05I got 10 piercings done on my ears today. He was so careful with everything he did. I appreciate his passion for his work. He treated my ears as if they were canvases for his art. He sterilized my ears, which I’ve never seen any piercer do before (they normally just used alcohol.) he positioned every dot on my ear carefully. He made sure I liked everything before starting. He kept asking me how I was doing as he pierced my ears. He was very clean. He was also very kind, conversation with him came easy. He made sure to inform me about after care. Gave me his contact information Incase I had questions. Very informative.Location was a bit hard to find because its downstairs from a barber shop but google maps shows the right place. There is a sign right by the side of the barbershop entrance.The environment was homey. Felt like I was at a friends place. I also noticed he sold his own merchandise, which was pretty dope.I would honestly recommend anyone who’s getting a piercing to go see him.I will definitely be going back for future piercings.Update:It’s been a little over a year and my piercings look great. Haven’t had any problems with them and if I did I know I could I haven went to Kelvin with questions.I added heat after photos of my piercings. Honestly want more lol

2021-07-09I did my research on all piercing places and this one caught my attention by far because of all the good reviews I read and the experiences. When I got there everything went by smooth and everyone was very welcoming and nice. Kelvin did my navel piercing and he was professional and clean. I recommend you guys to visit Kapital if you want your piercing professionally done and the service was good as well. Just make sure you make your appointments!

2021-05-19I came here because I had a really swollen piercing from a previous piercer. I found Kapital and they had amazing reviews. Kelvin and his wife were so nice and understanding. They are very informed and know exactly what they’re doing, They helped me with my issue and took my piercing out. I will definitely come back for any future piercings.

2017-08-09Went in to get 2 daith piercings and my experience was not like the last piercing shop I went to. The other shop the piercer seemed like I was being a bother from the minute I walked in and rushed, but when I came here I felt welcomed. The piercer was knowledgeable, helpful, and made sure I was doing ok and was comfortable throughout the visit. Not to mention he also had gentle hands so I didnt feel too much. If I think about getting other piercings Im definitely coming back without hesitation.

2020-09-19The place was a little hard for me to find being that Im not from the neighborhood, but if you have trouble just know its directly under a barbershop!The experience I had was commendable. Kapital and his wife were professional, very organized, respectful, and cordial! It was super easy using the website to book an appointment which was important to me because I didnt want to just go anywhere and deal with a bunch of people while trying to get my ears pierced.Kapital definitely exudes experience! He asked me if I wanted to have my ears pierced where I had had them before and I was surprised he could tell because I hadnt worn piercings in well over 10 years! On top of that he said all he had to do was reopen the holes, and since there wasnt much piercing to do he charged me 20 instead of the 30 for what the piercing was supposed to cost.That was a level of honesty that was frankly surprising and refreshing! He could have kept that from me and I would have been none the wiser. I definitely plan on going back for other things in the future and Id highly recommend to my friends and family as well!Keep up the great work you two! It was like you reunited me with two old friends!

2020-12-19I came here 2 months ago to get my cartilage piercing. Kelvin was very nice and made me feel comfortable because I get nervous for piercings! Everything about my appointment went great, my helix piercing is healing beautifully. Place is super clean, everything used is brand new and sterilized! 2020-12-14During this time with Covid I was hesitant to pierce. I did my research and I made an appointment. it was a nice stress free experience. I went to replace my jewelry today and i have to express how safe i felt. The place is clean, but most important they were safe (wearing their masks and changing of gloves). Also if you have any questions or concerns they are addressed. Love Love the place and staff. Kelvin thank you for making this experience amazing for me. See you soon.
