I went to Kas carpet because my mom has been buying carpet for her properties for over 15 years. I bought my first apartment and this was the worst experience in life at a carpet store. I initially went to check prices and the inventory, also to see if the carpets I would purchase would fit in my truck. After observation I needed to rent a uhaul. Next couple days I made my purchase. But to find out out of the three carpets I purchase, 2 of them were the wrong ones. I called and the young lady stated she would have someone call me back before the ending of the day.Ofcourse that didn’t happen. I called back and she stated she gave one of the managers the message and he said oh just have her bring them back. However I live in lower Manhattan. I expressed my concerns about renting another uhaul, driving from the city to Long Island. She stated back ‘oh he’s doing you a favor by exchanging the carpets, so just bring them back and he will change them’. I spoke to him thereafter, very condescending and rude, absolutely no customer service sincerity at all for someone who just spent almost $699, then when I got there they didn’t have what I originally wanted and had to get a carpet for them to customize and pay $500 more on top of what I just paid for. Then when I got home and rolled out the carpet, dirty black stains were all over the carpet. Absolutely not worth it, I see now why they do cash only. Never visiting this store again.

I had a hard time figuring out exactly what I wanted for my home the staff was so helpful they practically picked everything out for me. I had to ask the owner Sasha who was also wonderful to me what my salesman name was and they told me wayne. The installation was awesome it looks great 👍 The guys was respectful and patient with helping to move some things I left around thanks so much Kas carpet!!!

Any carpet needs you may have from full room carpet, runners, or area rugs this is the place you NEED. Their prices can not be beat. The staff is not only friendly but very knowledgeable.Promise youll be far happier with Kas then anywhere else.

I am an old customer to this store. Shopping at this store has been a great experience this last time I came. To begin with, as always, they have a huge selection of rugs and carpets even with Covid times. Also, customer assistance this time was much better than before, the new sales reps are really helpful. Last but not least, Prices are insane! No competition when it comes about the PRICE, honestly. I highly recommend you to stop by this store and save your money when getting high quality carpets and rugs for your rooms! The last installation they did at my children’s bedrooms were spectacular. Thank you guys!

Good prices however never let Benny be your sales associate he is clueless about everything he will sell you a dream I purchased 2 carpets over $500 worth and he told me the carpets will be lighter than what they seem once you lay it down. When I went back to ask for a exchange not a REFuNd he was very condescending and rude.

Fernando and his team at Kas Carpet are so amazing! We had a burst pipe in our basement with carpet that needed to be patched and seamed together. The work was so exemplary we can’t even tell there are 2 separate pieces. Thank you Fernando!

The absolute WORST experience! PLEASE save yourself the stress and go elsewhere!!!! I have filed a case with the Attorney General regarding this business practice and customer service! After purchasing my carpet & purchasing additional material for a follow up Leno job, honoring their date to install was a total disregard for my time.. no call , no show for several “appointments “ . After several calls, and a trip to the store (from Brooklyn) the installation finally happened... and guess what ? It was NOT done correctly . I was asked to email pictures which I did which clearly showed my carpet on steps was cut short which you could see the step wood at the corners. Again several “appointments” was scheduled with no call no show. After multiple calls I took Another trip to store and asked for the owner/manager.. I received the runaround from Fernando. Took another trip back to store this time the owner was there. He confirmed he reviewed my email and someone would be at my home the next day... Guess what ? No call , no show.. after almost 2 months of frustration I said forget it, I took a final trip back to store this time to pick up my Leno (ordered in October, received in late January) the owner was there and I told him no one ever came to fix my steps and at this point I was over it , and if he could take $ off my Leno balance for the steps which I will fix myself , well he said NO... Ok so now I pick up my Leno , I’m ready to install and guess what ?? My Leno pieces was cut short NOT according to the measurements/plans THEY measured.. contacted them to speak to manager there , I spoke to Dominic ( he was the one who cut the Leno) & several people with NO solution, I was simply told by Mike “ (which he was the one who came to measure) there was nothing they could do. they told my professional installer to lay the wood planks Leno pattern however he feels NOT the direction it’s supposed to be. (Creating unnecessary multiple seems) *****They WILL TAKE YOUR “CASH” NO credit cards and will do and say anything after they screw up!! You get what you pay for. cheaper DOES NOT mean your money shouldn’t be appreciated! NOONE deserves to be treated like this when you are paying not at any cost!

Warning! buying carpet from them means buying headache for yourself. They installed carpet at home but blocked my attic doors and closet doors (the doors should be trimmed by a contractor now to fix its place). They told me to hire a contractor to fix the blocked doors since their job is only installation no matter what the outcome of their installation is even if the installation ruins your property they are not responsible and for reference they said I should read the back of their receipt. I went to home depot and trimmed the doors and still have problems with them. The worst thing is that they start shouting at you when you ask them to fix the doors which they have taken out themselves. Really disappointing. I will never even go to them.

Prices are reasonable and service was good considering they could have had more sales people on the floor. Blessing was a great help while the other salesman was working with other customers. She was able to help us find the right type and color we were looking for to put in our bedroom and living room.
