Im not a huge sushi or hibachi fan and this place blows all others away. The decor is elegant and service is amazing. I was expecting it to be on the pricy side but its actaully relatively cheap. Food also came out fast and was amazing even on a buddy night. Highly recommend
I’ve eaten here before and everything was good but on 9/18 I was there with my sister in law for lunch. Service was good and the food seemed fine but a couple of hours later we were both sick. Because I have an immune disorder my condition became severe and had to go to the emergency room. We had spicy tuna, spicy salmon, spicy crab and rock shrimp tempura - did anyone else get sick that day?
Had a wonderful dinner with friends..the food was delicious and very fresh and the service was excellent.

Had dinner with my wife Saturday night first time at the restaurant. Both of us had avocado salad which was delicious. For the main course my wife had Hibachi Chicken and brown rice. Tasty, nice portion size and rice was excellent. I had the Scottish Salmon with beet risotto and veggies. Cleanest piece of Salmon I ever ate nice size portion and the veggies and beet risotto was excellent.Service was very good plenty of parking and prices were good. Highly recommended definitely will be going back.
1st time dining here for sushi and wow. Why didn’t I come here sooner.. The place and the staff along with the sushi were amazing.We came here for dinner. Walked in and got seated right away. We ordered all sushi rolls and every one of them was amazingly fresh and delicious. The indoor decor was nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoors is tented and heated but we sat inside to enjoy the nice decor and warmth.The ambience was nice. The food was fresh. The waiter we had was very nice and friendly. But the only con I had to say is that even though it was pretty quiet for dinner and they weren’t that busy the sushi took a pretty long time to come and I really don’t know why. The waiter did apologize for delay but I just didn’t get why it took so long.All good though..Overall loved this place and I would definitely come back. So far I would say this is my favorite sushi place on long island
The food is decent, but beware if you are paying by credit card. My card was charged the same amount twice for the same purchase. Also on the same day I ordered a lunch special to go which I was overcharged me. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Strike 2 for Kashi Bellmore. We live outside of their delivery area but want to support local businesses. We order for pick up which is on average 1 hour wait. The first time we ordered, after a 1 hour wait we sat in the parking lot for another 20 minutes before our food came out. The gentleman said make sure everything on the receipt is correct. We confirmed and were on our way. Once home we opened up our food to have dinner and the rolls in our bag were nothing like what we ordered. We called and they apologized for mixing our rolls up with someone else. We refused refund to support a small business. Today we returned to give them a second try. Pick up process was much quicker Receipt was verified. My husband gets home and this time we have no rolls in our bag. We once again called and we can either drive there to pick up our rolls (which were ordered 2 hours ago and have been sitting) or once again get a refund. While they deliver they will not deliver to us to make it right and this is 2 times our household cannot sit down and have dinner together because 2 peoples entire meal has not made it. If you choose to order from this place don’t just verify receipt when they bring the food out or you will more than likely get home having paid for multiple items you will not get.
We ordered over an hour and half ago and my husband has been waiting outside the restaurant for 45 minutes. No one picks up the phone to let anyone know when the food is ready. There are so many better restaurant that deserve your support. Please consider this before placing an order.

Kashi was wonderful. I took my husband here for this birthday and he thought it was an expensive 5 star restaurant. We loved the decor and the atmosphere. We couldnt thank our waitress enough for a wonderful evening. She went above and beyond to make us happy. Their food was very delicious and presentation was spot on. Definitely revisiting.
Nice place with really good service and sushi! My only drawback would be the noise level and large capacity. Both were okay for this particular night as we were a larger group and the staff handled the large volume well. If you are looking for a quieter more intimate setting, you may opt elsewhere. All in all, very good though.

We met with friends at this restaurant for dinner. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff members were extremely nice and we felt fantastic. The meal was delicious. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. We recommend this place to all.
The food is excellent but the service is terrible. We were told they couldn’t seat us 25 minutes before they’re closing time, then we placed a take out order and they said it would be about 15 min and we could wait outside. After a half hour we went in to see what was up and our food had just been sitting there, probably for the last 15 min. Finally, we got home and realized an item was missing that we were charged for. We called about it and didn’t even get an apology.
I arrive at this excellent restaurant every couple of days as I like the special air that is exist in this restaurant. The crew is extraordianrillyremarkably welcoming and qualified. The service is extremely rapid. Also, the food you eat is outstanding. I have been there often and I was never disappointed. The pay is decent. I recommend this place to to everybody.
Always great sushi here and the service is great. We always get the crispy tuna app its amazing. The sushi is fresh and have tried most things on the menu. We also had the Champaign sea as app was great but is small for more than two.
Fantastic sushi, at reasonable prices, in a clublike atmosphere. One of the few places that consistently has sea urchin available.
Amazing food, service and drinks
Very good quality Asian fusion sushi.came here with my Fiance and had a nice evening, seemed a bit understaffed for the amount of costumers but they have valet parking on weekends. drink menu was a bit limited on selection but the ones that were there were goodover all good experience.
Good ambience, love the music, the LED lighting and seating arrangements. They have an app and you can redeem points for free appetizers. Menu is extensive and drinks are well made. The service is impeccable.
Their sushi is the freshest and the sushi Chef is so creative its amazing! Im on a diet and doing carb/rice free. They made me any specialty roll with out rice. Very accommodating. I love it here and you will too.
I have never seen worse than this. Just ordered delivery for 3 people, and the rolls are smaller than my thumb, and the fish is dry, portions are EXTREMELY small, and everything is overpriced. Just awful. I would never recommend anybody to ever go to this place. Terrible, just terrible. If I can put zero stars, I would put 0 stars.

My husband and I visited Kashi (Bellmore) last night! We made reservations and were seat immediately. Everyone in this place is so pleasant, quiet, and constantly checking to make sure that the experience is pleasurable.The food was impeccable. I ordered the Habatchi chicken and shrimp. It was the best Habatchi that I’ve ever had!! Well season huge plate. Half of the plate was all meat and the other half was all veggies, welled cooked and seasoned to perfection + a bowl of rice on the side!! My husband order the lobster and shrimp, which came with potatoes and veggie. He can’t stop talking about how delicious it was.Oh you must try the Mojito. I had the pineapple mojito and I seriously wanted to lick the glass when it was empty.This place is a must visit!!! Delicious food, nice vibe as well!
Sushi is good but not all the time. Very inconsistent. People who pick the phone up always mess up delivery. When I called to tell them they messed up order they they told me it would be 45 min to for re delivery. They made the mistake and I have to wait again after I waited an hour to begin with.
Five stars for the sushi, particularly the specialty rolls which are really out of this world. I really liked how many of them are paired with a unique sauce (think coconut mango to go with tuna, or a sriracha teriyaki to compliment the lobster). My only small note about this location is that its lacking the real lounge vibe of their sister Syosset location. The restaurant half of this place is bland and too bright for a late Saturday night dinner. Youre paying a $3-$4 premium here per roll for ambiance versus a hole in the wall sushi joint, but really not getting it. Club music alone doesnt cut it. Ill definitely be back for the food, but will probably stick to take out or delivery...
From the start arrived with a reservation was made to wait for a table when a group arrives after us and is seated before us. Once seated a table adjacent has a family no that arrives far after and as we still sit for 15 minutes a waiter goes to their table takes their order brings their drink all before even acknowledging us. We literally no had to flag down someone to come to our table and once they do they apologize perfusely however the service does not improve. We order get spicy food and no drinks. No water no beverages. Again families While all around us come and leave while we still sit and wait for portions of our meal to arrive. ofWe haveten frequented the Kashi is RVC but decided on Bellmore because it is slightly closer. Poor choice on our end. Never again will we visit this location.
Im glad bellmore/Merrick finally got a trendy nice restaurant. Service was good. Food was 3 stars though - your standard Japanese fusion restaurant but the food was nicely played. Id return when back in the area given the good service and ambiance.

While Im giving five stars because your food is amazing!, you messed up my order for I specifically asked for a tuna roll instead of the salmon roll when I ordered the tricolor... I even screen shot it before I sent it just incase you forgot to look lol simple mistake, though the salmon roll is said to be crunchy and spicy😉 and the one I have is not this way... I love Kashi though I only get it once in a while from you because there are less expensive establishments out there and to get eat your Creations is a real treat and I know that I will get quality artistic edibles from you🤗 thank you for being the best sushi place Ive ever found on long island as the only other place Ive been able to find fresh salmon roe was when I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan 🤗 and I dont even think it was as good cause I dont think it was king salmon roe 😉😊😋 and I was raised on king salmon as my dad use to catch them when I was young and still does to this day as Im from Seattle and grew up in the Skagit Valley 🤗 thank you again! The drinks were great, but it took them an hour to bring out our food and the waitress never checked in on us.
The sushi in this restaurant must be bad, the salmon is still a bit smelly, the service is too bad, and the boss service is too bad. I hope this restaurant will close.

2020-09-20Our first visit here during the pandemic. The place had indoor and outdoor dining. We chose indoor because it was a little chilly. I did notice that they had heat lamps for the outdoor patrons though. The atmosphere was cozy but very roomy since they spaced every group apart. We had a booth so it was cozy. They had a raw menu special and we ordered the Japanese Kumamoto oysters. The sweetest buttery oysters I have had. The Edemame were delicious as well. For entries, we ordered TriColor Sushi & Sashimi. Very fresh, well presented. Also ordered the Hibachi Filet & Shrimp, delicious. Dessert was Tiramisu, Creme Brulee and the chocolate cake which I forgot the name. The cake was the best. Tiramisu was good, Creme Brulee was ok, would not order it again. Service was spectacular and all servers wore masks and gloves. Make sure you make a reservation, there may be a wait if you just show up. Will definitely return again to dine.

2021-05-02Finally.... Found incredible sushi on Long Island. American Dream was my favorite roll. The edamame appetizer was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of salt. Our waitress, Xinyi was beyond attentive and was helpful in ordering for us with a few custom requests. Tables were spaced out with dividers. Could not have had a better dining experience!

Not only because the food is always on point but for the wonderful customer service.You can tell they work very hard to make sure you have the best experience at the restaurant and at home with the take out.A pic with my friends before corona, a suchi class we had for my step brothers birthday and my first suchi after pregnancy at home.Tía was wonderful! Kevin as well. I know they are not there anymore but I had to mention them. Andy and Sam!

2022-01-15The food here is delicious and the quality of the fish is impeccable! My personal favorite things are the goat cheese appetizer & the valentine roll. When the restaurant is busy the staff is always patient and tries their best to accommodate everyones needs - the prices are a bit high, but if you order the right thing its definitely worth it!

2021-12-05I came here for a birthday party. Prior to coming to this place a friend of mine said it was very good. He was right. If you love Japanese food this is a great place to eat. The food here is fresh and very good. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I am glad this place is in the neighborhood. A great place to go with friends, family, a night out etc.. I will be going back. Only problem with this place is the parking but dont let it discourage you from going.

2021-02-27Went for the Ocean Rainbow and the Spicy Tropical, and then spent the rest of the meal trying to decide which was better!The Kashi restaurants are all worth visiting, and the menu is certainly worth exploring.Or...just come for the sake bombs.

2019-03-13Unbeatable lunch specials, 7 days a week! The only thing I would suggest is not ordering the tea, as it is virtually hot water with no flavor. Other than that, the food tastes great, the prices are good, the service is fair, and the ambience is awesome. Pictured is some of the custom kitchen box order, which tasted amazing, and is unique to many of the other Japanese bento boxes I have tried.

2018-07-03We usually go to the rvc location so we were a bit disappointed not to see the hibachi tables. Had the edamame, kani salad and a roll. Bf had the hibachi everything was fresh. Nice place good food we just prefer the excitement of the chef at the tables.

2022-05-27Update: tables are gone from outside, but food and service still great here!Delicious sushi restaurant with a great menu. You can eat outside here in a tent out front or on the inside. Service its very good and the sushi is also very good. They have a duck salad for 12 bucks that is just great.
