I arrived about five minutes prior to my appointment and was immediately greeted and they confirmed the work I wanted done. Nice waiting area with vending machines and coffee.Twenty minutes later, and the work was completed. A nice gentleman were over everything they had done and got me all my paperwork.Very clean maintenance garage... And I do mean clean! Staff was finally and very polite to everyone. Id recommend this business to everyone.
I meet Josh a couple of years ago when I purchase a used car from Ken BarrettChevrolet. I was very pleased how comfortable I felt dealing with Josh. So, when Icame to be in the market for another vehicle I went back to Ken Barrett. Once againJosh dealt in a non-pressure matter as we explored different vehicle options (new or used truck, what model, what accessories, etc.) that would best fit my needs and budget.
I called to get service for my engine light coming on and the scheduled me for 2 weeks out…by the time for my appointment the engine light went off and they told me there was nothing to be done and to call them for another appointment if the light comes back on. Your “service consultant” told me that she’s been doing this for 15 years and this just happens. My vehicle is a 2021 wilts less than 8000 miles….the check engine light shouldn’t just be happening
I was very pleased with every aspect. They really knew what they were doing on the estimate, helped me with rental, car was ready sooner than I expected AND the interior of the car had been thoroughly vacuumed!!! Thanks so much! Plus, they did my inspection while it was in for the repair.
Service Department:. We went to a local mechanic not Ken Barrett, whom almost scammed us out of a couple thousand dollars!! Thankfully, they finally admitted they couldnt do the work after being questioned by my husband several times and referred us to Barrett.I can do nothing but rave about their Service Department! Megan being the most kindest, informative, caring, helpful, patient person we have talked to through our servicing. Josh whom has taken our phone calls on updates of the servicing being very respectful and patient. Additionally, the Mechanic not sure of name maybe Nate, very knowledgeable if his job, parts, warranties and just getting the job done period!!! In the end we will be back for a new vehicle when the time comesThank you all for making this very trying time an easier process for us. You all are genuinely great people!!
Wow wow wow!!!! I have went into several dealerships in the past but none can compare to this one. I just relocated up here from metro New York and had no clue I would be approved for any vehicle and I ran into their website while fumbling around. Eric took care of everything and he was so professional and calm. He never used any high pressure tactics and he and his manager Todd worked on my peculiar case to get me into a great vehicle within a week. The final deal was awesome and affordable, my family loves this car. Eric even made sure this car had new tires and a tank full of gas. This guy is awesome. I advise everyone to come here.
I can not say enough about how this was the best car buying experience EVER! EVERYONE I encountered was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, caring, helpful - I truly have NEVER experienced this at any other dealership! Ken Barrett is absolutely the best, and the culture that exists at Ken Barrett Chevrolet Cadillac, Inc. IS Ken Barrett! Bob Mullen was my salesperson, and he remembered EVERYTHING I mentioned! The parts guys installed my weathertech mats for me, as well as installing a set on my brothers car (that he happened to buy a couple days before me!). Got an oil change and tire rotation. On the drive home the service tire sencer light came on, took the car back to the dealership, they reprogrammed it . I drove it home and the light came on again. I bought this car from this dealership 5 months ago absolutely nothing should be going wrong with this vehicle. everything was working fine until they did the tire rotation.
The owner and the manager are so fake when I talked to them. Could barely give me the time of day. Car dealerships especially this one has turned into looking at people as just a number. Funny your motto in every review response is “you’re a neighbor not a number” phony!!
I had a recall on my 2018 Chevrolet Malibu and had a great experience with the Service Department, in particular Josh, Adam Bukowski and even Mr. Barrett. I had made an appointment, got an estimated time it would take and I was in and out much quicker. Thats why I buy home Town products and services. Ive bought my vehicles there for over 30 years.
Vehicle broke down while on a trip on a Saturday. After attempting roadside assistance with GM customer service failed miserably, we contacted the closest GM dealer. The service manager at Ken Barrett Chevrolet walked us through getting the vehicle to his shop in limp mode. Dealership was fantastic in diagnosing the problem and getting us a loaner vehicle. I am a recently retired GM employee with 38 years of service. After this experience I would definitely go to Ken Barrett for my next new vehicle, and I have already begun reccomending them to friends and family
Eric and Todd have made my purchase of a new Corvette so Smooth. The car was 100% ready for me to drive away on a long waited arrival of production. May I add that the Corvette team really built a sweet car to drive. What a nice machine! I feel like part of the Ken Barrett family now. Thanks Guys!
Ken willing to having an initial conversation with me as this was the first time I had gone through the process of leasing a vehicle. Ken introduced me to Todd, Financial Services. Todd was very kind and efficient as I was in a difficult financial position. The resulting offer was obtained quickly. We discussed the best leasing options for me. Ken showed me several cars that were on their lot. I decided on a Chevrolet Trax. I was able to come back the next day to work with Bob Mullen to complete the required paperwork. Bob had all paperwork ready and took time to explain all forms I needed to sign and gave me copies Overall, the personal assistance that I received from each of them was exceptional They provided the help I needed to complete the process of leasing a vehicle. I chose the Ken Barrett Chevrolet Cadillac dealership because of recommendations from several friends and associates. They exceeded my expectations.I left another Chevrolet dealership because of poor assistance and service. Ken has an excellent reputation in our community. I will recommend this dealership.
I brought my car in for an inspection but also ask the tech to take a look at this dent I had on the top of my trunk panel below the rear window. They were able to get it out and gave me a great deal! I would definitely recommend getting your vehicle inspected here, (free if you purchased from them) because they go above and beyond!
Bob Mullen walked me through the process of buying my first car. The whole process with a test drive and the paperwork didnt take long at all. Everyone there was personable and professional. Everyone took the time to explain anything I didnt know. Overall a great experience.
Not impressed!! My son bought a car there in September. Its a 45min drive. (I know, I had to drive him) The car has been back to the dealer at least once or twice a month since he bought it. It is now December. Needed so much work on major issues, (no heat...they replaced water pump, radiator blew, calipers were hacked, needed to replace brakes) son wanted to return the car. The owner became rude and made a lowball offer. They already sold his trade in for a nice profit. If anything else goes wrong, (a mechanic friend of mine said to be careful the head gasket isnt damaged), we will seek legal assistance. I do NOT recommend this dealership. Funny thing is, I myself have been looking for a new car & was browsing their lot. At this point, this dealership is definitely off my radar!
Robert Mullen was extremely patient, informative, and helpful. I knew what I was looking for in a vehicle and he was able to help me find the right one to fit my requirements. He was also more than willing to help me work out the payments for the car I decided on so that I was able to get what I needed affordably! A+ service. My experience at the shop was fine, no problem. But the quality of the chevy brand has gone down hill from the past. I feel I would spend less time at the shop if chevy had a better quality Department. Chevy in my opinion is making junk. My next vehicle WILL NOT BE A CHEVROLET.
Excellent! Had a fender bender with the car. Your adrenaline is rushing, youre upset, you call insurance company report the accident and then we called Ken Barrett Collision. Angie answered the call and calmly and efficiently guided us through the process. Car was ready as promised, along with being washed and vacuumed! I just bought a vehicle from there today very laid-back no pressure no rush just perfect! I bought it from Eric Gordon definitely go see him they tell you what the numbers are theres no gimmicks no frills this is what it is amazing! I am extremely happy with their service and their staff definitely go buy a vehicle from there like I said in the last review I will be a customer for life and this is the second vehicle in a row I bought for them and they have a customer for Life In Me Friendly staff! Good prices overall they take care of you the customer! I bought a vehicle here in summer of 2017 a few months after having the vehicle develop a small problem I took it to them and showed them the issue took care of it for me! If you buy from Ken Barrett there is no worries! They know how to treat customer s! Very appreciative that we have them in the area!
The people at Ken Barrett’s mean well, but they seriously need to work on their communication. My car was towed there for repairs from an accident. I went to pick it up and one of the panels wasn’t even touched. So I had to bring it back. When I brought it back I asked about paying to get my seats cleaned and the manager offered to do it for free since they messed up the first time. I pick it up two days later and they only cleaned the drivers seat.... then they offer to do a full detail for free because of the mistake... I brought it in today and they only cleaned the seats. I could have said something but I’m so sick of wasting my time to keep bringing it back in so I left it alone. They would have saved a lot of time on their part and mine if they did it right the first time around. Never going here again. Lost my business. Sucks for them because I’m looking for a new car this summer 🤷🏻♀️
Made an appointment with someone on Thursday to look at a truck & left my name and phone number incase the truck sold before our appointment. My appointment was today 6/27/20 @ 9am. We show up and they tell us the truck has sold. Fuming with anger is an understatement. never got a phone call or voice mail about the truck selling.... Paid a sitter and drove 45 mins. Waste of time. disrespectful and inconsiderate to not call and let us know. I dont t hink I have EVER been this angry. I recommend no one goes to this place.
Still in the process of purchasing a vehicle, however, after one visit I was throughly pleased. The sales people are so nice and are willing to work with you. They exhaust every option to find something thats beneficial, and similar to what you want. I have been a few places, but the professionalism is just unmatched here. outstanding service and I am happy to be working with them.
Absolutely the best Chevy dealership in the WNY area. Sales, service, all departments work together with the customer. Never had a problem that couldnt be quickly resolved. If I wanted a new car they didnt have in stock they got it for me immediately. At Ken Barrett the customer always comes first
I was referred to have my truck repaired at the body shop from a very good friend of mine after my truck was stolen and pretty close to being totaled however the insurance company decided to pay out the large sum to have it repaired and the body shop did a perfect job and I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and the great work they performed and could not believe my eyes after they completed the repairs and I was able to drive my truck again which was brand new after it was stolen and recovered and I think all of the employees at The Body shop and at the dealership who had anyInput or assistance with repairs to my vehicle and I wanna sayAn extra thank you to tom who did most of the work on my Truck and I don’t believe I would do business elsewhereM.v.
I have tried to get put into a car, but this dealership, is the next in line who were not willing to assist me just because I dont have a good credit rating, money down, ectera. Covid has nothing to do with this. They are not willing to assist those who are on fixed income.
Brought my 2015 Silverado LTZ 4X4 there to fix another recall. (#5) Appt 230. They took it in. Brought it out 25 mins later & parked it. At 330 I went in to see why it was taking so long. And the service counter guy said he was on the phone so long he forgot it was finish.. I buying a dodge.
Bought a used car. When we test drove the vehicle the airbag light was on, however upon driving off the lot it was off, leading me to think it had already been fixed. Got it home the day we purchased vehicle and the light came back on. Less than a week later, a big paint chip starts to peel off. When asked what could be done i was told you bought a used car. Again, a used car that didnt have a paint issue when i drove it off the lot. Next, on a family vacation, I lose power steering and nearly go off the road. Apparently a special conditions recall for the power steering. All within two weeks of purchase. The recalls are being fixed by them, I would assume because its not costing them anything. As far as the paint, I guess Im on my own. Too bad, we had actually found a salesman we liked! No more cars from here, and by the sounds of it, the manager I talked to doesnt really care.
I have a very interesting factory conversion from Chevy and with tons of questions I hoped for the best from an actual dealership. First impression was of a lady who looked at us like we were stupid and had no clue what we were talking about, even if your not sure or we dont explain it right, people are here to buy your cars, you would think they would do there best to find a solution instead of cause a problem. Just seemed like everything we asked or waited for was a bother to them. Seemed like auto part businesses wanted to help more than a service department at a dealership
Was okay, salesman we had was kinda argumentative with us like he knew more than we did. Treated us like we didnt know what we were talking about even though the salesman already knew we had done some research on the type of vehicle we were looking at especially when it came to towing capacity. One would already know what they are looking for when they have already looked at campers and picked one out, so they would already know what kind of vehicle and equipment it needs to have In order to pull it.
My Experience.....Im from Iowa and I was on vacation traveling to New York City. While I was driving water poured all over my feet. I knew something was wrong so I called the number for a service department near. My savior answered the phone. I hope I dont get this wrong but I believe his name was Chris. He gave me directions on how to get there. GOOD directions at that. I was 40 miles away. As you might expect I was very upset that something was wrong with my car and we are over 1000 miles away from home. First thought..Can the get me in...Second thought...how much is this going to cost me and Third thought...Service Dept. what else are they going to say I need. The technicans were on lunch so Chris took a look at my car. Said I had a plugged drain tube for my air conditioner. He went to work immediately on it. When we were finished I stopped to pay my bill. TOTAL INVOICE....$ 0.00. Yes you read that right. Absolutely nothing. It really renewed my faith. He said enjoy your vacation. How many Service departments at sales lots are going to do this for someone??? I do know one that did. CHRIS from KEN BARRETT CHEVROLET CADILLAC. Another gentleman that was very friendly and made us feel very welcome there was Mark. Thank you so much for making what could have been a rough start to our vacation an amazing experience. Had to have my saturn that was under warranty serviced for burnung smell under the hood. brought it 2x to the service center where i purchased the vehicle, but they couldnt find anything wrong. my warranty was running out and i had no idea what the smell was so i brought it to ken barrets service center. right away they foudn the problem and fixed it!!!!!!with great customer service too!thanks a million :)
While on the NYS Thruway returning from a trip to PA to visit my grandchildren, my Cadillac CTS experienced what seemed some pretty serious engine problems so I was lucky enough to have had that happen near Ken Barretts repair shop in Batavia. Even though it was rather late in the day, they took me right in, quickly diagnosed and fixed my problem, that had luckily turned out to be minor. They were very professional, honest, and very reassuring to a stressed-out traveler. A special thank you to Adam Bukowski. Nice people, great service in this lovely little town that quickly turned my problem into just a minor bump in the road. Thank you!
My mother in law had work done on mini van and she was told it a.c. compressor was frozed she supplied part drive it for less than 24hrs and no start after that.she called back and was told to bring it back and it another 125 dollars to check it out she was charged 125 the first time to miss diagnosis the issue by your so called ase master tech.I spent 5min and got van started found bad ground which your master tech should found but instead he took advantage of an elderly lady.as of today we will no longer bring or buy a vehicle from EVER again.hopefully this does not happen to anyone else.Sincerlyunhappy customer
Brought my car in because I had a caliper that was stuck and needed new pads. After they inspected my vehicle they told me I needed new pads along with new calipers on both sides in addition to rotors and stabilizer bar to pass inspection for a grand total of 1800. Needless to say I went somewhere else and found out the caliper just needed new pins pads and rotors for only 360. I understand the dealer is more expensive but I didnt expected to be raped AND lied to. Do not come here unless you like to pay more for no reason
A former car salesman myself I really wasnt prepared for the high pressure pitch I received there ! Shame on me ! I was told the used Malibu I purchased had been in a minor accident. I visited the original owner and she advised that she had been rear-ended shortly after buying the car in 2014.Funny thing, the entire left side of the car had been re-painted ! The drivers door has a new skin on it ! Theres red overspray all over the bottom of the car. Buyer beware ! I wish I had looked much closer prior to signing !
I was pleased with every aspect of my time and experience at Ken Barretts. Russ Betters did a fine presentation with most of the information I needed and his salesmanship helped me decide on the Chevy Cruze I selected which previously I had searched & identified online.

2022-06-02I did not purchase my vehicle from here as I have a friend who gets me deals in Rochester, but I do bring my vehicle here for service every single time! The prices are the most affordable around, and each and every time I am in the waiting area, I see the owner walking around engaging with his staff. He also always comes over to say hello, and always has a smile on his face. I drive 30 min to get here and will continue to do so rather than going to places closer to me in the Clarence area.Thanks for the hospitality, Ken!

2022-06-09My tire blew out on the highway. I did not have an appointment but the service department stayed through lunch to examine my tire which had to be replaced; they found an exact matched tire in Buffalo and got me back on the road the same day so I could make it to a wedding in Maine!! So thankful for excellent service!

2022-06-15Dropped my vehicle off for an appointment that was scheduled a week prior. Dropped off at 9am and was told upon entering by service that my vehicle was early on the list to get looked at. I called at 345pm to check on my vehicle and I was informed it had not been looked at. I received a call at 515pm and and an apology that it was so late but my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I was then told that I had 15 minutes to come pick up my vehicle (that was my ride home) or I could come at 7am to pick it up. Unaware of the closing time of the dealership I was out getting dinner at that time and had to get my food to go and rush to the dealership. I would rather not be told initially that it would be done early and have it done late, that is very poor customer service and would have a hard time recommending to someone else that is relying on their vehicle being done in a timely fashion. 2021 Chevy Silverado with multiple misfires found but could not replicate was the issue with my vehicle. Also not a very comforting message about my new vehicle.

2022-05-25I purchased a 2009 Chevy Trailblazer from Ken Barrett Chevrolet. 2 days after I purchased the vehicle the check engine light came on. I took it to auto zone and the code was for an Evap system leak. I called the salesman who connected me with service. We arranged a time and date to bring it in. The service dept. analyzed the problem, told me not to worry and it would be fixed. Set up another date to fix the issue. I live in the Buffalo area so it is no easy drive. Work was done. Check engine light came on again 2 days after. I went back to auto zone and the same codes were there. Set up another date to bring it in and drive to Batavia. Had to be a few weeks later because of my work schedule and available appointments in service did not match up. Ken Barrett service analyzed the car again and said they knew what was wrong but told me I would have to pay for the repairs. I had to speak with the manager and convince him that this was their responsibility. He agreed after some conversation and said they would fix it at no cost to me. This was the correct decision since the vehicle was obviously sold to me in this condition. Service had the vehicle for half a day and told me the problem was fixed. 3 days later the check engine light is back on. I am beginning to wonder about the capability of this service department. I was informed in a passive aggressive indirect fashion by the manager and the service department employee that I was no longer going to be helped with this vehicle issue without paying for the work. They stated it was because to much time had passed since I bought the vehicle even though it was the same problem from 2 days after the purchase and the time had passed because they failed to properly diagnose and fix it. I am now wonder if waiting out the arbitrary warranty period is a tactic this dealership uses to sell defective vehicles with hidden problems and never fixing them.So, this is where I am at. Unless someone reaches out to me and invites me back to get this fixed properly and without cost. I will not return. I was very happy until the cut me loose and implied not our problem anymore.Ken Barrett Chevrolet has two options that dictate how I will rate this purchase and their company. Call me and pledge to fix this problem correctly and take responsibility for this defective product. Or remain silent and turn a happy customer into a disappointed one.May 25 2022 I have an update to my earlier critical review of Ken Barrett Chevrolet.With in an hour of my submitting my original review my cell phone rang and it was Adam, the service department manager at KBC. He explained to me that the last time I had visited for service that he and the service person I had been dealing with up to that point were off that day. The service person who told me I had to pay for the repairs had no background to my situation and the manager that gave me a hard time worked for sales and not service. He pledged to do what ever was needed to fix the EVAP problem with the 2009 Chevy and satisfy me. I made another appointment to get the vehicle looked at.This time they stated that the problem was the evap charcoal canister and we made another appointment to bring the vehicle back and replace it. The spare tire winch was seized and broke during the diagnostic so the also planned on replacing that.It has now been two weeks and the check engine has not re-illuminated.I did not pay a dime extra for any of the repairs. Granted, I did drive 400 miles, Use a full tank of gas, and go out there 5 times. I am not completely happy about that but I am satisfied that they fulfilled their obligation.In five trips they replaced, the gas tank retention straps, fuel pump and seals, all the evap lines, the evap solenoid, the evap charcoal canister, and the spare tire winch mechanism. They also threw in a free oil change. I figure it was about 10 hours of billable time. So, in order to satisfy this customer I calculate about 1600$ in parts and labor went into the vehicle over three months. I am satisfied.

2022-05-05I bought a car a few months ago from ken Barrett and within the first week the car was sounding horrible I bring it back to them and all the supposedly did was change the center link and I still had the problems and they did nothing to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase as soon as u pay for the car and u take it off the lot they will do everything to avoid helping u and anything to make you pay for it yourself even with the laws in place they will still try and play you.. this is a warning to everyone do not get a car from ken Barrett Chevrolet in Batavia they will leave u stuck with a car that will break down in 5 months and leave u stuck to pay for everything
