I ordered the 4 Piece Chicken Combo Meal because of their good reviews but the delivered food was the worst ever. The fried chicken and fries were stale, dry, made in rancid oil, bland, just terrible. Im very disappointed with their quality of food. I had to throw away everything immediately, thats how bad it was. Hopefully no one else has to each such awful food and fall sick.
Im not from Binghamton but found myself in town and decided to check out this spot. Let me say, Ill be headed back next time Im in town. The food was great, portions were nicely sized, and on top of that its very reasonably priced. The staff is incredibly personable as well, I met Ali when I went and he is a very friendly down to earth guy. I cannot recommend this place enough, do not sleep on Kennedy Fried Chicken & Gyro!
Great Customer Service. Good yummy food. Gyros, lamb, chicken over rice and many other awesome options. Open very late. Clean, friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend everyone to try this place and then i bet u will keep coming back. Oh also their fried chicken is the best i have had so far. Good/Affordable prices also. Thanks Kennedy, keep up the good work. Ill be back :)
As laughable as this concept may seem, I’m a bit of a fried chicken aficionado. I have it all over the country, the Carolinas, Northern & Southern Texas, Nashville, Memphis, Los Angeles, Louisiana, etc. this is BY FAR the worst fried chicken I’ve ever had. You can tell they are using old grease and the coating was burnt so it tasted terrible. The onion rings were soggy and the rolls were stale. Even the hot sauce they use was low quality and bad taste. Avoid this place like the plague.
The experience is very worry some. The business was very nice but the whole translation is through a six inch hole at the front counter. We ordered a Chicken meal and a Burger meal, both did not resemble the typical depictions of Chicken or Beef. The taste wasnt great and the crowd in the lobby were very sketchy and extremely rude.
The food is delicious and Ali is awesome, hilarious, and provides top notch customer service. After a few visits, some to eat, some to complete GrubHub deliveries, he now knows me by name and goes above and behind to ensure I’m satisfied whether getting food to deliver for GrubHub or food to eat myself. Being born and raised in the south(Tennessee) and just relocating to New York in early 2020, I’ve missed down home southern type fried chicken and have been hoping to find it somewhere, This place goes above and beyond reminding me of home. Different a little hidden gem in Binghamton
Heres the deal - theres a popeyes, McDonalds, and a Wendys right next door. Use their parking to go to Kennedys instead. Honestly speaking, their gyros, philly cheesesteak, and fish fry are the most inauthentic takes on the dishes, but they taste amazing. The gyro has no tzatziki and is replaced by ketchup and mayo. The philly has no whizz or provolone but has lettuce, Kraft singled, ketchup, and mayo. Their fish fry is not battered at all but is breaded much like their chicken. Strange, but ya know I dig it. Still tastes amazing and the prices are low and college friendly. The place itself looks super shady but hey, I didnt die so I say worth.
Good Gyros and Fries. People r nice also. The newly renovated kennedy is wayyy better than the one before. Also the food is much better, tastier and fresher. Also new management is much better and the service is much much better. Also another great thing is that they do take all kinds of credit cards plus Apple Pay. I love the new Kennedy. Definitely Recommended.
I come here frequently, the food is great, prices are great and the guys working are always super nice. My only complaint would be I wish the customers would be more polite to the employees BC almost every time Im there someone is giving them a hard time and they work hard and dont deserve that.
When hot out of the frier the chicken is great but you can often get stuck with pieces that have been under the heat lamps for awhile. Fresh, the chicken has a great balance of crispy skin and juicy tender meat. After its been sitting for awhile the meat can get dried out. Sides are adequate but not outstanding. They dont have mashed potatoes anymore, which is unfortunate because they were really good. Regardless, much better than KFC even if stuck with chicken thats been sitting for awhile.
Kennedys is a staple amongst college kids and townies alike in Binghamton. The high, drunk, and otherwise intoxicated patrons flock to this particular eatery after midnight to satiate their drug-induced hunger. At first, when my friend suggested it at about 2am one night, I recoiled. Kennedys?!? The place where you are likely to get stabbed? He reassured me, and we took a walk down Main Street towards this grease-trap of an eatery. As you enter, you are greeted by a man behind Plexiglas. The nature of the Plexiglas is pretty straight-forward; it protects the cashier from being stabbed, beaten or shot. I figure that the Plexiglas was a reactionary measure, and not a preventative one.You order, and wait about 10 minutes (I have no idea how long I waited, as I was less than sober). I ordered chicken wings and french fries. Despite my apprehension, the food was pretty good, and affordable. The chicken was 100% white meat, and the french fries were crispy and salty. The food was just the right temperature, and I proceeded to eat it on the curb outside.I would definitely go there again if I was wasted, probably not if I was sober.4/5 stars
I went into the store and ordered some chicken and the lady said, I need about tree fiddy. It was at that moment I realized that the lady was the loch ness monster. Now, i wasnt gonna fight the loch ness monster but I aint given em no damn tree fiddy unless thats the change. The service was great but they get no tree fiddy.

2022-06-26Asked for hot sauce and didnt receive in bag. Didnt get napkins or receipt. Didnt get dinner rolls, even though they were sitting next to napkins in plain sight. Owner asked for tip. States that free drink came with meal but I had to mention it in order to remind owner to give it with purchase. Chicken ordered was undercooked so fed it to my cat. The rice was under portioned and salad only contained one pinch of lettuce and few pieces of diced onion which came up to almost 30 dollars. Highly unsatisfied and wouldnt recommend. Ruined my Saturday night.

2022-05-09The absolute worst Philly cheese steak I’ve ever had. The cheese wasn’t even melted. Meat in sandwich was cold and bun cold and soggy. The fries were lukewarm at best, I’ve had better fries at the grocery store. Please don’t waste your hard earned money on this awful restaurant if you want to call it that. I will never eat here again and I will tell everyone that I know what an awful experience me and my wife had.

2022-08-25The Gyros are good, better popcorn chicken than KFCs honestly, the owner is very nice and personable. I’d say it’s definitely worth the stop, will definitely be going back!

2022-08-15Best gyro in broome county . The white sauce is perfect and bread is grilled to perfection. Sandwich needs to be little bigger however

2022-03-06Tastes OK. But owner does not provide receipt. We ordered 3 items Chicken Gyro, Lamb Gyro and Lamb over rice. Somehow total came to $24.03 even though the individual items don’t total that amount and he billed me $25.03 saying 4% is addition credit card fee. No where has it been posted in the store saying there is additional fee for credit card payments. He says all Indians understand that. Definitely do not go here. Beware.

2017-08-31The place has gotten a good make over. Was creepy before. They no longer sell cigarettes, which is a good thing. Lamb chicken mix gyro rice is a good. Its worth what you pay. Fries are crispy. If you are hungry, a place worth trying.
