The owner was very nice. Kenny the owner came many times to update us about the remaining time for us to be seated. The food was delicious and we only waited for like 15 to 20 minutes for our table I’m glad we stayed. They are doing their best and they are doing a great job. I never give reviews but I had to do this one .
My perfect idea of the 19th hole! Claudia and Kenny have resurrected it and are doing a superb job with a great menu and a full bar. A great place to be after a round of golf, or just to watch sports.
My wife and I had a great lunch at Kenny’s earlier today. She had a delicious barley soup and. BLT. I Had a turkey club. Everything was excellent as was the service. Kenny, Claudia, Britte and the chef (Jim) are off to a great start. They plan to soon expand their days (now weekends only) and hours (now 8-3). Cannot wait to go back.
The food was excellent. The wait staff is so nice, kind and efficient. Everything was prepared perfectly. The ambience was wonderful. I will come here many many more times.
We arrived on Sunday about 1:00 s took a seat at the bar. Was told faster service by the bartender. Then a bartender not the one who told us faster service ( a young girl with blond hair) took our drink order not very nice. After she gave us our drinks we told her we were ready to order she said ok give me a moment. After about 10 minutes told her we were ready she said just to let u no it is going to take over 20 minutes as if she didnt want us to order. She was rude. Then proceeded to take the people sitting right next to us is order not saying anything about how long the order would take smiling making small talk . It was the worst services I have ever experienced and I dine out 4 times a week. I will never returne also her tip was what she deserved NOTHING. Food didnt even look that good.
Dinner was pretty good. The ladies had Pan Seared Scallops, My friend and I had the Sea Food Gumbo which was OK. Cozy dining room.
Waited 15 minutes for a menu, at a table with a bottle of ketchup on it. Purchased our first drink, while waiting for a table. Never offered another drink again...not even water. Worst corn beef and cabbage, worst service, totally ignored by the whole resteraunt, never going back again (day after st. Patricks day at 7 pm)
Fri. 1/28/22 We are very happy Jim Liszanckie has re-emerged. We were regulars at his previous endeavor, Sunny’s Diner in downtown Riverhead, which fell victim to the COVID scourge. In a new collaborative project, he’s back with gusto, running the kitchen at Kenny’s On The Green, a reimagined restaurant at the Indian Island Golf Course on Rt. 105 in Riverhead.We ate lunch there today for the first time, expecting a different scenic view but the usual bar food (wings, burgers, sandwiches). What we found delighted us. My husband had the Beet & Goat Cheese Salad, which was a delicious and surprising mix of textures/flavors, and large enough that he should have brought 1/2 home but managed to finish the entire bowl. I had the Thanksgiving Sandwich. Now, other chefs do Thanksgiving sandwiches….but not like THIS! Of course it had actual stuffing—warmed--along with the sliced turkey inside the sandwich. But… the outside of the bread had been buttered and grilled, delivering a slight buttery crunch like a grilled cheese. Wait--there’s more. The BEST part was the side dipping dish full of flavorful warm turkey gravy. Delicious! Sort of French Dip meets Grilled Cheese but with a Thanksgiving spin.The bar area is small but has the most atmosphere with a working gas fireplace, stacked stone columns, multiple TVs, and views of the golf course and Flanders Bay. We ate at the bar itself, and the bartender, Tim, was exactly who you would hope to find in such a rustic charming space: welcoming, creative, attentive, chatty. We will definitely return to work our way through the menu.
This simple breakfast tasted so good the eggs the bread everything was so fresh and perfectly seasoned!
Went for lunch today, it was their soft opening. Food, atmosphere, and staff were wonderful!! Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, fries were hot and crispy, and chicken fingers were delicious. Everything was very reasonably priced, such a great place!

New spot and terrific start out of the box. Great sports bar atmosphere, attentive and hard working owner. Wait staff extremely cordial and attentive. Great prices, well poured drinks, and try the turkey club...rockin!
Wow. I had the pork chops. Talk about hitting it out of the park. They were SO good. Great food. Great people. Great atmosphere.
Bacon cheese burger was amazing I love this place perfect I will drive half hour to go eat there I will recommend this place to anyone keep the good work can wait to go back
Enjoying a delicious dinner tonight at KOTG. Their dinner specials are fabulous and the service is great. A really nice place to have appetizers or one of their dinners. Found the specials on Facebook which seems to be updates regularly.

2022-04-30I so badly wanted to love this place. But it was just ok . Service was scattered, out server was super nice . But scattered . We over heard a different server say to a party of 4. Oh you can sit in that corner . Just not professional. The menu was interesting but limited. We got the cheese board which came with 3 cheeses 2 very similar parmesan type cheeses. But it was beautiful. And the mussels special. Very tasty but could use more bread . Dinner I got scallops with risotto. I asked to swap the types of risotto and they had no problem accommodating me. It was a good plate of food. My husband got a NY Strip crispy onions mashed potatos and creamed spinach. The steak was Over cooked and had no flavor. The mashed potatoes were watery . The onions added nothing to the dish but the creamed spinach was great. There was a scrap of roasted garlic on the plate. I thought it may have been meant to be squeezed into the steak but it was dry. So over all this place needs some work. They definitely have potential ! I still want to try brunch. And I may give them another chance with dinner mostly because the menu choices were interesting. I wish them the best of luck. And we will try again another time !

2022-02-27We LOVE Kennys on the Green, excellent food every time, the staff is amazing. Such a sweet place with a beautiful view. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner and the chef never disappoints. Unfortunately there is a staff shortage everywhere so we all need to be patient and Kenny, Claudia and their staff are doing a great job. Having been in the restaurant business I am so impressed!!!!

2022-06-27I thought the food was very good i had the swordfish dont think i just like the dot it was too many nuts My wife had the chicken and she said it was very good Its nice to come out in support you local businesses. And the wait staff was fantastic. Thanks well be back.

2022-04-30Stopped in for lunch. The food was very good, well prepared and nice portions. The service was disappointingly slow considering the place was not crowded and it would have been nice if they were more friendly and welcoming.

2022-03-10Our new favorite place! UPDATE 3/10/2022 Having been to Kenny’s on the Green more times now than I can count we still consider this our absolute favorite spot! This restaurant is the hometown, “where everybody knows your name” kind of place. It is where the locals now love to come. The food is fantastic! Kenny and Claudia make a dynamic duo and their hard work to make this restaurant a touch above the rest shows. Can not wait to go back!

2022-01-31Had Lunch at Kennys today. It was very very good. I had grilled chicken sandwich and hubby had the steak sandwich dip. Our first time and will definitely go back. And a great plus...ran into many familiar faces and staff was awesome too!!
