Excellent summer camp! Our child did the full-day summer camp for 4-8 year olds at Kew Kids and had a wonderful time. Spending the day outdoors with other children was the perfect antidote to a year spent mostly indoors with adults. The staff was skilled and enthusiastic and the curriculum was wonderfully inventive. We particularly appreciated their encouragement of imaginative, child-led play in nature. Our child is noticeably more physically confident and socially comfortable. This is a terrific program!

Our son had a wonderful time at Kew Kids Forest School. He did the half day for about 4.5 months, from the time he was 3-3.5. I was so surprised at how much he was able to learn, and so grateful for his experience with the outdoors. Jessica is a wonderful camp director, so easy to get in touch with, and so helpful. This was a great choice for us!

We love the Kew Kids Forest School, and felt so fortunate that our son could attend the school. The director is incredibly responsive, the teachers are all so loving and caring, the nature aspect is wonderful, and the programming is perfect for kids--from arts & crafts, to cooking, to music, and more. I highly recommend it!

Our Son has been going to Kew Kids for over a year and we absolutely love it! We sort of stumbled across it while searching for daycare centers and are so happy we did. They are very dedicated to making the outdoors the backbone of the childrens daily experience there. I am not familiar with anything else like it in NYC, although the model is common in Europe. We never thought we would be able to afford this kind of experience for our Son, right here in Queens! The philosophy, the owner, the staff, all truly amazing.

We absolutely love Kew Kids Forest School. The teachers are kind, thoughtful and energetic. They take great care and love our child and we couldn’t be any happier.Our child loves being outside and we are thankful that he gets to go to Forest Park every day and explore the beautiful nature. At Kew Kids Forest School, he is on a continuous journey and develops great social, emotional, physical and communication skills every day. We are fortunate to have this school in our neighborhood which offers a unique and amazing nature based program.

I feel really lucky to have found this school. I can see my kid thriving by getting to experience nature every day. Learning happens organically. Focus on basic preschool concepts but also life skills/manners etc. Excellent communication from amazing staff and leadership. Kids learn a lot of independence and come home dirty and tired (a sign of a perfect childhood day!)

Children in Kew Kids learn to connect with nature everyday.This is a huge plus and very rare for NYC.As parents, We both recognize and appreciate this experience for our daughter gets being part of Kew Kids camp. We both highly Recommend Kew Kids.

My child loves it here! It’s a creative and caring environment, and the kids get to have wonderful adventures every day. It’s an ideal early childhood education. They experience nature first hand, everything is physical and tactile. Art , science , reading , exercise are holistically integrated in the days and projects. It’s very progressive and totally amazing to have something like this in the city.

Excellent pre-school with great day camps on non-DOE days. I love the emphasis on interacting with the outdoors. Their on-premise play space is also impressive. Great follow up and follow through by the owner and teachers. Thank you!
