We have used Key Moving twice. Once for a move within the Bronx and felt so comfortable that we used them for an out of State move! Loved it and referred two or three people who were moving within and out of State. Love the fact that Scott Coleman was honest and clear with process, prices, and always available when we had questions. The workers worked quickly and carefully! Everyone was nice and considerate. I still refer people to speak to Scott Coleman for information and moving services. I need magnets or cards..flyers..please? 😆
Key Moving came to me highly recommended by a friend and they didnt disappoint. I have lived in NYC for over 10 years. Needless to say Ive had to move numerous times. After just finishing my move with Key moving, I will no longer need to look for another moving company. They came on time, were extremely efficient, and the cost of the move came in below the initial estimate. We had a terrific service experience with Key Moving. We needed to store our goods for one night before moving into our new place. We were comfortable with the services the rep indicated would be performed and their overall handling of our situation (among the many choices were available to us). Great Price! Great Service! I used Key Moving for my move to Florida. Scott was my contact and answered all of my questions and stayed in touch with me. The movers arrived on time and wrapped everything very well. I needed a box truck to deliver in Florida and they were able to get this done and avoided additional charges. It was a great experience for my long distance move from PA to WI. Daniel was very helpful and responsible for helping me schedule my move and my requests. The pickup service was very good and it was very quick and on time. I understood that long distance move could take a longer time to delivery. I wish next time it could be faster to get my stuff delivered. Overall, it was a great experience and all of my goods were delivered without any damage. I would highly recommend this moving company for your move.
Ive used Key Moving for the past few moves Ive made. They are professional, reasonably priced and were always on time. Scott was amazing from my initial phone call. Very professional and accommodating. Price for the move was great. The movers were also great, they were timely and professional. I had more stress packing than I did with the move, it was fast and orderly. I highly recommend Key Moving.
We recently used Key Moving to move locally between apartments in Brooklyn. Key Moving helped me with a difficult move to a hard-to-reach house which included detours due to post-storm road closures and a long and narrow driveway. The three men were always patient, courteous, helpful and willing to go that extra mile. They were also in ingenious when it came to disassembling and reassembling furniture, removing doors and putting them back on, etc. I highly recommend Key Moving.
Im so thrilled with my experience with Key Moving. I purchased a large sofa only to find out I couldnt get it up my apartment stairs. Magically the staff at Key Moving wouldnt give up and made it happen. Im so happy to have my new sofa in my home and grateful to Danny and his staff. Highly recommend Key Moving!!
I called Key Moving & Storage, Inc., and spoke to Scott he assured me that the move would go smoothly. It did and then some the movers were fast and they Wrapped everything they took care of all my stuff with no problems. There was only three men that did the move just as fast as if there were ten. I cant say enough good things about this company. I was very nervous about the move but Scott said to me that he will call me when the move was over to hear nothing but praises from me about how well the move went and that put me at ease and by the way he was right. Very satisfied customer.
I hated my #Key moving and storage experience. I could never imagine such a simple task could be handled with such unprofessional efforts. First of all the sales lady( Mia) led me to believe that the extra large deliver window was just to cover their asss in case of mechanical difficulties. I never thought my possessions would be off loaded with no immediate plans of moving them until enough materials were available to load a tractor trailer. Two and a half weeks after picking up my load it was finally on its way.STOP ! The truck breaks down in Pennsylvania one day out. My delivery is delayed another week.Bad news is #Key moving and storage has hired someone (not an employee, a subcontractor) to drive my load. This means when (the driver) has no contract with me, and could care less that 85% of my boxes are crushed and every single piece of furniture is scuffed, scraped, or fatally damaged. The bone headed driver shows up with one laborer. He seems to get involved with the unloading, but really spends his time running his mouth. Our furniture is the victim of one man trying to unload heavy furniture. At first the driver say he has no tools to reassemble our furniture as per the contract. Then produces a fancy screwdriver with ten tips as his tool box. Luckily the useless driver gets frustrated like a caveman with a computer and admits he doesnt know how to put my things together. He retreats to the truck and isnt seen again. Then I and the good natured laborer assemble the two pieces of furniture and the day is done. This experience has left me with a terrible taste in my mouth. I wish Key moving and storage many happy customers of other companies. Because thats the only way a happy customer is gonna happen. #Key moving and storage, you suck!
My situation wasnt easy. I was moving to PA from Bergen County and I had to put my goods in storage for either a day or a week (thats todays closing process.....) - Listen to this - they quoted me both options in advance and even told me what would be the cost if my bank would surprise me again and delay the closing once more.I was shocked to see the movers arrive 20 minutes earlier than was told but since I was up and ready (and anxious) I was eager to start. The crew called me when they were nearby and asked me if they can start earlier.I ended up needing 3 days in storage and my delivery was set. Guess what? they showed up early as well in PA....My moving time slot was from noon-5 pm and by 11:45 the movers (same nice gentlemen) we already getting ready to move in my life long possessions.They placed each item where I asked them to, they took away all the trash and asked me twice if there was anything else I needed before they hit the road.My price didnt change and everything arrived in tip-top shape.It was a great experience and a much appreciated relief from moving nightmare stories.

Absolute worst moving experience ever. Lets start off how many days does it take to move from Brooklyn to Boston? 1,2,3? Nah 7 days.When I signed up with this company I saw good reviews, and thought it was worth the extra 200 dollars compared to other companies, boy was I wrong. David was very nice and friendly when taking my order and told me they could even deliver my good the same day, with this hope I signed up for it. I even paid extra so that they would pack my glass table and then reassemble when got to my new apartment in Boston. The pick up was good I must say, probs best part of this experience. The mover told me when picked up my stuff, if you need it on a specific day we can arrange that. I was in high hopes with this, but boy was I wrong. When tried to speak to company when would be delivered they said no we cant do that. One of the workers was very rude on the phone he questioned my intelligence and was very argumentative and was very threatening, and was very fearful when said would escalate to BBB because felt was lied to due David saying I could get same day and that driver said same thing but could pick day, and this guy was saying nope 1-7 days to get your goods. After 3-4 days arguing they said they would deliver on Sunday, July 3rd, I asked could this be delayed for July 4th afternoon so could spend it with family, he stated no too bad, take it or wait another week. After sucking it up I took delivery on July 3rd thinking would be done with this company and then came another shocker. When met delivery people they immediately said we need our tip were working hard for you and pretty much had to give their tip immediately. When I asked to assemble my TV stand which was stated would be done, they said no we dont want to be liable bring it up to key moving. Lot of my goods were damaged 1 broken lamp, hole in mattress, chipped computer desk, 2 broken kitchen chairs. I am hoping to get some money back, but I am probably asking for too much. The funny part of this whole story is my friend had similar move, paid 200 dollars less and got delivery same day. In my opinion stay away from this company, bunch of bullies and crooked businessman.
Key Moving was a pleasure to work with. We were referred by our friends who used their services a couple of years back. The office staff was professional and knowledgeable and we were happy to see the movers handled our goods with care and respect. We highly recommend Key Moving too.
Very professional. The movers came on time, wrapped everything within the estimated time they gave us and put it in storage. After a month we had the same movers come back. Within two hours they unloaded everything from the storage into the house and reassembled everything for us. Couldnt ask for anything more: reasonable price, on time professional and courteous service, and most importantly, no damage was caused to any of our stuff. Highly recommended!!!

Casey ay Key Moving is a bit of a moron. First, he called the wrong day to confirm the on-site estimate. I agreed we could do it the day he called, instead of the scheduled day. Then, he complained about the time. We discussed 3pm-4pm, I asked if he could do 5pm. He said he couldnt because he was too worried about adding an hour to his work schedule. Not something the customer should have to worry about. I mentioned this and he hung-up. DO NOT USE!!! Unprofessional and stressful not something you need when moving!
If I could give this absolutely HORRIBLE company less than one star I would. I never go out of my way to write bad reviews about companies. I changed booking to this company because they were able to give me a lower estimate than other places. The original fee they quoted in the estimate was 1100 for moving a bedroom set 270 miles. I put a deposit down and than in the span of 2 days things changed drastically. First a guy from the company calls me and very nonchalantly says its going to be $350.00 more like I would have no problem with it because they had a cancellation; basically their problem became my problem. I told them that was ridiculous that I would have never canceled the move I had booked with the other company and the only reason I agreed to cancel was because they quoted me a better price. After a brief discussion he said there were some other options he was going to explore and called me back saying there was someone he thought he could do it with and he was about 70% sure. The next day a manager from there called me and told me he was going to refund my money because they had to cancel the route entirely and it would be about $3000 for them to make the trip. So he left me completely screwed on the move causing me to frantically have to get some of my friends together to drive out there to make the move myself before my lease ran out. If thats not bad enough the $387.00 deposit that I put down that the manager told me he refunded never got refunded. I had to call my credit card company to contest the charge. This company are total thieves. Charged 387.00 for a move THEY CANCELED!!!
I used Key Moving to move from Long Island to Manhattan. Every step of the way, the crew was professional, friendly, and helpful. They did a quick but thorough job, and the experience could not have been better. Id recommend Key Moving to anyone moving in the NYC region.
Audi and his crew where just amazing!!!They took such good care of my goods and were funny and polite to my family.They called when they were on their way and arrived on time. They took care of all the needed buildings requirements and even my new super was impressed by how they worked. I had a rather small job but it really felt like they cared about my experience with them.Definitely recommend.
Hiring this moving company was the absolute worst decision that my family has ever made, and we used 4 different ones in the past. They hire pieces of trash that steal your personal belongings before the truck even arrives at the destination. I had a 50 inch Sony TV that I saw loaded into the truck when my family and I made a big move to Florida. When the truck arrived our 1200$ TV was gone, along with 4 chairs..The compensation they offeres didnt even make the cost of one chair... Beware of this company, they are thieves .

Had the best experience with movers EVER!!!! They came on time were extra careful with everything we own, we moved 4 times before, this is the first time everything was moved in one piece , no breaking, no scratching. They also did all the packing and did it with extra care . You cant ask for more.
The staff/crew was wonderful, friendly and dependable .... special mention to Scott Coleman, who gave me the quote; assisted me and had been always there when you call. The packing team was likewise wonderful... efficient, friendly, fast and reliable.Its just sad that one item was broken (a 6-drawer dresser) and could not be restored (as it was dismantled and stacked up in the moving van). I presume it fell while on transport. I learned from the driver of the truck that I was the last customer items to be delivered, so I presume it fell on the floor and broke the support of drawers. I just hope I could make a quick claim. I just sad (kinda disappointed) this thing had happened.
I use this company to move from New York city to Indianapolis, IN the staff were friendly and helpful, my stuff was delivered to my new address on time and safe. I will use them again if I ever need to move. Thanks very much. Keep up the good work.
Excellent moving company. Very nice and efficient group of movers and informative telephone receptionist. The estimate was lower than other companies and did not increase at the time of delivery. The delivery arrived on schedule.
Overall a positive experience. Cross country move from NJ to CA went very well. All my furniture and belongings arrived in tact and the staff and owner handled themselves in a very professional manner.

MOVERS DID NOT SHOW UP ON DAY OF MOVE. We were scheduled to move on July 30th (7am -9am). They never showed up and could not be reached. Had to find new movers on a Sunday at the end of the month. MOVERS DID NOT SHOW UP. They apologized and said that they must have confused the date.

Thanks to Mia Taylor who speaks Spanish I was able to deal with them without misunderstanding and helped me at all times with my doubts. Both the collection and delivery of my furniture was done with total professionalism and without damage. The delivery was finally much earlier than expected, it only took 5 days (mid-weekend) for my move from NyC Bronx to Missouri.

2017-08-22Worst experience we have ever had. We are an experienced moving family and we have never been treated the way we were or had as much broken as we did.We were quoted $5000, and AFTER all our belongings were in their possession, the total was changed to $8000.The day of delivery the semi driver claimed he couldnt make the turn onto our street [it is a normal width residential neighborhood where we have seen [and have pictures of] other semis driving. Because the driver chose not to make it down our street, we were charged an additional $2000 for them to get a Uhaul [I talked with the Uhaul owner, he said he charged them $50], and shuttle our belongings 0.1 miles to our house from a parking lot nearby.Once all of our belongings were delivered we found an EXTRAORDINARY amount of damage, and have just filed a $6000+ damage claim.

2018-01-13First they broke my parents fence when they left and didnt offer reimbursment (my mother videotaped it all happening as well) They arrived over a month later than they promised(2 months total). They unpacked my boxes as well as other peoples boxes on the street in puddles. They dropped a crystal lamp in the street in front of me and ignored me when I told them they shattered it. 4 lamps all broken. Mold on all of my clothing and all boxes were damp and coming apart. I also was left with other peoples things. They tacked on charges 3 times almost doubling the cost telling me my final payment had to be in cash. I was then asked to rate them while the man stood over me and watched. I put down excellent ONLY because I felt like I was being loomed over and Im generally a passive person. It was very awkward.

To be more precise weve moved 7 times in the last 4 years, and Key Moving was the most professional, courteous and hassle-free move weve ever had.When we started to look for the moving company, we only knew that were moving out of New York, but werent sure where to, Miami or LA. So most companies wouldnt even deal with us or wouldnt provide quotes. From the very beginning Key Moving was very transparent about their pricing, gave us a very accurate estimate and turned out to be by far the cheapest company Ive seen. We decided to store our things for a couple of months in one of their storage units, while we travel, and then make a decision.Scott, the gentleman who I talked to over the phone, was very professional, quick to respond and always delivered what he promised.On the day of the move, movers arrived on time, were also very polite and professional and did their job very quick.After that Daniel was following through with our move, and also was very very nice and really on top of it. He did us a huge favor along the way, and helped us to get rid of our couch, because our new place already had one.When we finally decided to move to Miami, I gave them a call, and in less then a week we got our stuff. Also very hassle-free.Boxes were in good condition, we had two broken glasses, but I consider it a success, given all the moving our boxes have been through.Anyway, as I said, would recommend them to anyone!

2015-09-19We had a great experience with Key Moving! We moved across state lines with 2 bedrooms worth of furniture, much of which was fragile. Pedro and his team were professional, efficient and pleasant. We got a flat rate, yet the movers still went above and beyond to ensure that our furniture was dis-assembled and re-assembled without a scratch. I would use them again and will recommend them to friends!

2017-10-23I had a wonderful experience working with Key Moving, and in particular the manager there, Casey Donlan. This company was super professional, friendly and reliable. They were able to move my belongings within an hour and even brought them back to be stored at their own storage facility, which saved me the extra work of renting a storage unit. Their pricing is very reasonable and the workers are very trustworthy! I will definitely be using them again. :-)

2014-05-13I used Key Moving for my move from New York to Florida and nothing but a pleasant experience. I spoke with Daniel a few times who I believe was the owner also and he was amazing. I was told everything up front and received my shipment within the week which worked out perfectly because we drove down there.What was great about it was how the movers treated our belongings. They really made our new house feel like a home.5 Stars!

2017-08-01Called Key moving and storage for a quote for my relocation out of state. I talked with Scott Coleman, he immediately set my mind at ease and answered all my questions and provided me with a quote. I told Scott because of his attention to my concerns and kind ways I felt confident scheduling my move with Key Moving. From the start to the pickup in one state to the delivery 1200 miles away in another state the company has superseded my expectations.All the movers on both trucks, pick up and drop off including Pedro and not to forget Scott, were courteous, professional and a pleasure to work with. 2014-04-29We had to move recently as I had to change jobs. I wasn’t so sure about what to expect from a moving company as I moved myself before.I was pleasantly surprised to see uniformed movers with clean trucks and equipment. My communication with the office was impeccable. I received answers to all my questions, in writing and with no “double sided” options.The move itself was smooth. In both cases the movers showed up on time, were polite and seem to take good care of our goods.We are still in the process of unpacking boxes (moving sucks…) but overall I highly recommend Key Moving.P.S. I highly recommend having a rep come over and survey the goods. It takes the question mark out of the pricing possibilities.
