Don’t use this vendor. They didn’t fix the problem the first time and I had to call several times before they came back. The supposed “repair” lasted five weeks. Additionally they decided to charge $180 for ten minutes worth of work to fix a lock I now realize is fully covered by the manufacturers warranty.
CROOKS AND SCAMMERS!! Keymasters Inc tried to charge me $135 for a key to my car (it has a chip). And mind you I brought the key in and they explained it had a chip in it. They were fully aware of what type of key I needed. I walked out and went to A Preferred Locksmith, up the street and they asked for $35 a key. I got 2, he programmed them to my car and all
I called to have a new deadbolt installed, thinking Id have to schedule a few days or a week out. Instead, the deadbolt was installed about an hour and fifteen minutes after I first made contact. Incredibly quick callback and fast service. Ill use them again without a doubt.
These guys are great I should have gone to them first time the other place messed up the key I was trying to get copied. the lady in the store offered to recut the keys the first locksmith messed up but I opted just for brand new keys. save yourself time when you looking for duplicate keys or professional locksmith use these guys
Terrible customer service. We ordered a garage door opener, were never told the cost, but had recently received one for $40 from the previous owner of this business. The opener came after a week and did not work. Tried to return the opener and were told that we would need to order a second one and that the first was already programmed! The new owner of this once good business refused the return. Within 24 hours we received a new, working opener from Amazon for $30. We have disputed the charge with AMEX. This business, under its new owner, will struggle.
Had $15.00 Medeco keys made here. Guy tried making them three times so far. Went to get refund since they didn’t work and guy behind counter said I had to speak to owner who apparently is rarely in the store. The guy behind the counter said I needed to see you as he could not refund money. I threw away the keys and wrote your business off as a bad experience I wont repeat.

2020-10-27I had a lock to install that was going to be tricky since it didnt come with an adapter and I had very little space to work with in my door. The locksmith really knew his stuff as he explained the different methods of getting the job done. He was able to come the same day and install the lock quickly and with precision. I highly recommend his services.

2019-05-22Today I had to have some keys made. The employee was very kind and considerate and helped me a great deal. I must admit Ive been using this place for years I never realized how expensive it was to make keys. But who cares, they worked. It was very hot in this store and I cant believe the employee was actually working in that heat. They even program keys for cars at very reasonable prices. They have all sorts of lock devices for windows and doors. They also sell safes to lock things in. Im sure theyre involved in security systems but you need to ask and they do make house calls in emergencies. Ive never seen such a selection of keys on wall displays in my life. These are new owners and I wish them luck.

2019-11-26I went to Key Maters to get a third car key cut. I explained that I did not have the other keys with me. The lock smith at the counter offered to have a mobile technician come to my car that day and cut a key for me. The mobile technician came and cut the key and programmed it so that it worked with the cars anti-theft protection. However, the next day when I went to use my original keys, I found out that both of them no longer worked with the anti-theft. In the process of activating the new third key, the technician had deactivated the two original keys. Of course that was not what I wanted, so I visited the Key Maters key shop again and explained my problem. The same worker I had talked to the first time contacted the mobile technician who said that he explained to me that activating the new key would deactivate the old keys. I disputed this. The whole point of getting a new key cut was to have three working keys. So the worker at the store took a copy of my receipt and said he would talk to the owner about getting me a good price on reactivating my original keys. I think my keys should have been reactivated for free. Anyway, I never heard back from the owner and I still have only one working key.Subsequently, I did some additional research and found that not only had I paid way too much for the key cutting ($215 with tax), the technician had clearly made a mistake when reprogramming the new key to the anti-theft. Instead of entering into the computer that he was adding a third key, he must have entered “all keys lost” which resets the codes and deactivates old keys. Additionally, I found that other lock smiths nearby have much better prices for cutting car keys.

2019-12-17I needed Medco keys made and no one else I went to made them. I entered Key Masters and they were happy to make the keys and even provided a generous discount since I was making many sets. In addition, just days later, a painter who was working in my place had left and somehow locked a bottom lock from inside and we have no key! (They were given the top key only and instructed to use that lock only). In a panic, I called Key Masters and the owner, Eli, not only agreed to help me, but worked with my schedule and my urgency to help me gain access to my home just a few hours later. He was kind and helpful. He even checked in with later me to make sure I was ok and the lock and keys were all working well. Im very grateful for their service and I trust them to be there when I need them. I will absolutely use their services again.

2016-12-13We needed our locks fixed on our front door and we called Keymasters and Eli came within a few hours. Eli explained all of our options with the lock and explained pricing. We decided to get new locks and the installation was done quickly. Eli even vacuumed up the hall after he was finished. Great service !
