I have a large family so i order online then call to make sure they have enough time make my order before I head out to pick it up. The last 3 times I havent received all of my order. This last time I only recieved half of the order. Now Im spending over 100 dollars each time this is ridiculous! And the manager does nothing to fix the problem!
Gotta say to see another race but white is beautiful but to see a black man as a manager was and will always be the greatest. Im sorry but the friendliness the manager gives is priceless. Good folks at this kfc. Respect my service dog, as ya always do. Made sure everything was right temp and always get your order right. Even if they do mess up, because no one is prefect, not only they correct it but they still make you feel welcome. Keep up the good work and thank you for always being kind to my family and I but most of all for care for my service dog.
I only get what I order 6 out of 10 times and half the time they pull you up to the door and bring it out to you after a 10 min or more but its the only KFC for more then 40 minutes so I deal with it 30 min lunch lol...My advice woukd be to have them repeat your order back twice great staff customer service wise
Going thru drive thru trying to decide what to order the employees (multiple) kept rushing us and asking what we wanted, even after we asked for a minute to decide, they did this repeatedly...saying they were being timed and needed to get our order....I explained again to give a minute to decide and if they HARRASSED us again I would leave...they did so we left...not going back ...very disappointing...
We experienced a managerial blunder. They sold 48 biscuits to a single customer, which left none for drive thru customers. We had to wait 10 minutes for a new batch to be baked so we could have biscuits with our $24 fill up order.Suggestion: The person requesting 48 biscuits should be the one waiting 10 minutes for a custom order.
The manager was very rude. I was missing the fries in my meal, so I went back through the drivethrough. When i got to the window, the manager told me that he knew the fries were in there. I was treated like a liar and a thief. The girl working was very apologetic for the way her manager yelled at me and made sure my order was fixed, however i dont think a manager should treat customers so poorly. She said his name was Levie.
It was horrible. Waited ten minutes unlined at drive through to be told to pull around. After waiting another 10 minutes I went inside to then be told it would be another 10 mins. They said their fryer broke down. However was not letting people know that while they ordered food. So we wernt given the opportunity to decide if we wanted to wait. They made it seem like it would be right out. Was given attitude because we wanted to know what was going on. After a half hour we get our food. There was a thing of potatoes missing, a chicken sandwich, and our sauces. Not impressed
The food is decent, but if you order multiple things, expect at least one or two things to be missing from your order, even if its a big part of the meal like biscuits or cookies. The workers are nice but forgetful, Id suggest going somewhere else if you want great service and food though.
KFC Cortland drive through delivery has always been a problem. They don’t give what we order and not only one time this happened but several times. Yesterday was the most wired thing happened. I ordered 6 chicken littles and one of the chicken little sandwich had just a drop of chicken inside and nothing else. Seriously!!!What is wrong with them!! Losing trust on them totally!! Wish I could have the option to add the photo here.
Third time in a row now in the past month that Ive gone to this KFC and ordered a meal and not only had to wait on the side of the building for 10 minutes + but when I got my food the bag was full of sauce spilled everywhere... I didnt receive my meal and only got the sandwich so zero fries and on top of that did not get the sauces I asked for at the drive thru menu AND at the window because I was told to drive around to save drive thru times... the next time I am asked to do that I am telling them no, and waiting for my food at the window. The girl that came up to my vehicle had no idea if I was the person that ordered my food because there were 4 other vehicles that were told to do the same thing so she basically played Russian roulette because she didnt didnt interact with me once prior to bringing my food out.
I was second in line and I ordered a 2 piece chicken dinner and a pot pie. 3 more people came in after me and got their orders before I got mine and their orders were much larger. The drive thru people also got their orders before mine was filled. The woman in charge eventually told me what was taking so long was my friend. Sorry I call BS on that one. I never got an apology for the 20 minute wait and at the very least I should have been offered as least a cold drink for the long wait.
Cant ever get anything right always mix order up. Then tonight they said it will be a 8 to 10 min wait for Mac in cheese and if I wanted to wait I said no next thing I know they have me pull around bc wait on my fries. Then they come out to see if I am even here still bc they did not know a guy sent me around and said oh your still here your popcorn chicken is just getting done. Wth needs better management all around.
Went through the drive thru at 7pm on a Sunday May 30 and ordered the 12 piece tender meal and 2 of the new crispy chicken sandwiches. ALL the food was Luke warm at best! Tenders were kind of chewy, sandwiches where made of 2 different types of chicken. One was made with a crispy breast and the other was made from 2 crispy tenders. Also, the sandwiches were dry and had 1 pickle on it. Mashed potato container was crushed on one side and the girl working the drive thru window basically threw the bag of food at us and we almost dropped it. Was very disappointed in our meal.
Went in to order. No one came over to the counter until I hollered over. A woman worker came over and wasnt pleasant at all. No greeting, no smile. Acted like I was interrupting her shift! Also, after I ordered I see she goes back over and continues to mop the floor!!! Really? She was mopping and then comes to take my order without changing gloves or washing hands?? Then waited for almost 20 min. Actually had to get simeibes attention to ask how much longer! I had ordered original recipe only. Didnt notice until I got home that they stuck 3 pieces of extra crispy in there. Must be they didnt have enough ready and I had already waited, they just filled the bucket with whatever they had.
The chicken is delicious. Service is usually good. However 5/16/19 The lobby was full of people waiting for orders. Very long wait for food. I called corporate and lodged a complaint. The customer service representative was thankful for the call. Hopefully more crew will help speed up service during peak times.
Went there tonight and never will go back again. We had 2 cars in front of us in the early evening. Got to the speaker and was told it would be 1 hour wait for chicken. We ordered non chicken food and went to the window to pay. The cashier was a young guy was extremely rude. We asked for Corporate or the owners number to complain. He said he didnt know it. we said ask your manager for it. She told him.to tell us it was on the receipt. He said so are you going to pay for your food or not. We said not with the way your acting and not wanting to wait 1 hour for chicken to cook. He refused to give us their numbers and said theyre on the receipt. Since we sisnt order he refused to give us a receipt with a number to call. We said have your manager get it for us. He said she told.him.she didnt know it. This is the no post rudest KFC weve ever been to. Drove all the way from Ithaca to eat too but will stick with the one in Sayre. At least they treat customers with respect and arent rude!
This place is like playing roulette. 2/3 of the time when you go your fine but otherwise youll get pink in your chicken or sick from under cooked chicken.Also, the drive through curb is massive so expect to stretch out before getting to the window.Dont be in a rush either, picking up food through counter or drive thru is never under 15 minutes.
My husband and I both enjoyed our meal. Not to busy but not too quite. Chicken was good!Updated: First trip was good second trip was horrible! The tables and floor we extremely dirty, when we asked to have them cleaned the cashier came to the lobby with a towel but stood there until we instructed him to the unclean tables. Then we received our food went to get utensils and the were empty. Next, my chicken was disgusting! Asked for a different piece and got a tiny piece with hardly any meat and dry skin. The only woman I saw said they had a new young manager, we found him outside on his phone in his car when we left. Dont waste the money! Its a joke!
Absolutely the worst customer service Id ever encountered.. extremely rude to the point that I drove off before they could even take my order.. if i could give 0 stars i would..if you dont like your job you should find another.. perhaps KFC should do a better job training. Before they are aloud to speak to customers. Havent been there in years highly disappointing..
Against my better judgement I keep going back and Im always disappointed. Last week I stopped and ordered a 2 PC white, Cole slaw and Mac& cheese, got mashed potatoes instead of Cole slaw.the chicken was overcooked and dry.the chicken has been like that for the last 3 or4 times.I am done with KFC.
Stopped Friday night was over a 30 minute wait for chicken. All chicken. Came back tonight. Asked for a 10 piece meal extra crispy was told you cant have extra crispy with that meal.. why?? Absolutely terrible customer service. I would normally never even bother with a review but this is ridiculous.
We eat out every Friday night because one day a week mom is not cooking. We went to KFC today and they said it would be an hour wait for chicken can I get you anything else? What else can I get to feed a family of four. At that point wouldn’t you say your STAFF is not doing there job and the food should be free. I really hope the STORE MANAGER of this restaurant and the OWNER readers this post. KFC is one of our favorite places to eat but this is unexceptional for a fast food place on a Friday night at 6:15 pm.
I swear I dont know what these big chains are thinking when they hire some of these people. I hate to leave bad reviews, and this is only my opinion. The staff is dirty and rude,the plce was dirty!!! I honestly dont know why I continued my order. I love KFC and their prices have gone way to high.!!. Its really sad actually because I use to go at least 3x a month. But no more.
The absolute worst KFC I ever been to the people here have terrible training waiting on an order an 5 are out smoking in the parking lot then my order is finally done in 20 minutes then they tell me the ran out of biscuits an theres another 20 minute wait like of they werent smoking it wouldve been done terrible management. Never got the order right an food was terrible I suggest never wasting your time at this dumper!
The food was very consistent with normal KFC standards. The young guy that was working the counter with various tattoos and the ear piercings was rude, egotistical and generally not friendly at all. Youre going to have someone work the front counter they need to have a louder voice and be kinder
This place is terrible! I ordered a $5 fill up and not only did it take at least 10 minutes to get my order, at least 4 people in front of me were prioritized with their $20 fill up buckets that take 3x the amount of time to make. You guys didnt even include a fork or a spoon to eat my potatoes! And you absolutely suck under a rush. I get chicken takes time to make so stop trying to rush everything and then make your customers unhappy.
For whatever reason, if ordering a meal for a family of 6, you have to call ahead or they run out of chicken and you have to wait in the driveway through for 45 mins. Spoke to manager about this and he says it only takes about 15 to 20 mins to make chicken and they are supposed to have 25 pc of each chicken ready at all times. So Im not sure why this has happened to us 4 times in 2 years (we go maybe 3 times a year). Not that I mind calling ahead, but when we do they are almost rudely confused when we do like they dont want to make it and have us not show up to get it. Not sure what the solution should be but I know something is fowl about large orders. (See what I did there?) Both of these stars are just because its really tasty.
5 people in our group came in 90 minutes before closing. We tried ordering the $20 fill up and other items and were told they were out of cooked original and extra crispy chicken. They wouldnt make anything. So we left. Another group after us ended walking out also. Very poor service.
I feel like my order is messed up more times than not. I ordered a 16pc chicken, only dark meat, and still received white meat. I asked for honey and butter for the biscuits, theres 8 in the meal, and they gave me only 3 packets of butter. They gave me 8 pieces of dark meat for free to help with correcting the mistake, but I would have enjoyed it much better if the order had been correct the first time.
I pulled in to see 3 cars waiting to order at drive thru,no one inside waiting.Decided to go in.Waited at least 10 minutes to be waited on.Once I ordered I watched 21 cars go thru drive thru.When I asked if they forgot my order they said working on it.cmon serious?its a 20 dollar bucket.30 min.later I got my order.
We come here occasionally and lately the restaurant has been filthy even when they first opened!! Management has been snippity. Our order has been wrong several times (forgotten items or got someone else order). Weve always switched out the sides and today we were told we could only switch one side due to management. Had to wait20 minutes at opening for chicken to be made. Very disappointed with new management and the way weve been treated lately.
We waited for an hour and 20 minutes for our food even though they said it was going to be 30 minutes. They said they bumped our order even though they were passing out food to the drive people almost right away. Terrible service, might not go back to that place again.
Usually KFC is my go to for fast food. Especially when Im in Cortland New York.But after watching the Manager hand a bag of food to a customer, and then drop it on the floor and walk away. I was unsure of this adventure.Then to not get asked myself if I wanted original, or extra crispy.And they even forgot the extra biscuits.Im not sure if this is the place to go for your chicken cravings.Beware KFC on RT 13 in Cortland NY!!!!
Waited from 3:42 to 4:04 for 2- 1 piece box meals,watched 3 other customers come in after me and get their orders with no wait. Drive thru had 4 cars come thru and still I waited. Finally asked for my money back and cashier had to go get someone for approval. So called manager ??? tells me he can fill my order right now, so i say no thanks just give me my money back Ive waited long enough. He says they just took it off the board,still I say no thanks just want my money back .He then says oh Ill give you your money back and you can get out of my resturant. What happened to customer service??? Long story short F U KFC in Cortland! Had a wonderful fish dinner from another business!
Absolutely disgusting! I ordered a mash potato bowl at the drive thru. Not only did they forget my silverware but there was a big long nasty hair in my food. When I went inside to notify them of their mistakes not just one staff member but 3 women immediately became defensive and began insulting me. None of them had their hair pulled back and they even went so far as to threaten to call the police and tell me that I wasnt welcome in their establishment or any KFC for that matter. Ive never been so insulted in my entire life at any fast food restaurant and wouldnt go back there if somebody paid me.
Disappointed yet again. Did not receive all pieces of chicken ordered, which isnt surprising considering I almost never receive all of the chicken ordered. When I stood by registers to attempt to speak to someone about the problem, was ignored for five minutes despite saying Excuse me repeatedly.
Food was ok. Service was awful. According to my receipt, I ordered at 6:18. Got my order at 6:54. There was no one working the register to greet people because they were all working on orders. I saw 3 people leave before ordering and another person asked for their money back. Awful service.
Great tasting food but also the most expensive, especially if you want white meat. Whats the deal with white meat being a higher price?????? Doesnt a chicken have 2 wings, 2 legs, 2 thighs, and 2 breasts do why so much more money for breasts???? Prices are outrageous.
Spent over 20 minutes waiting for my good at the drive in. Fast food it is not. When asked for a discount for the wait I was told no sorry we have just been busy. Mind you there was noone inside the building at the counter and only 1 car in front of me at the drive in. How is that busy??????
KFC in Cortland is a joke...first of, the wait in drive thru was really long, but I wasnt in a hurry, I let that slide...THEN the girl made all of the food wrong...I again let that slide, I offered to come inside since they were wrapped around the building. So I go in...as I stand there I watch the dt cashier...who had just been handling money!! Make the bowls WITHOUT GLOVES...ok now I realize technically you dont have to wear them if you use scoopers HOWEVER when her little hand went and grabbed cheese and put it on the food...nope. I was even polite when I told her why I wanted my money back and I had already waited about 15 minutes, and that time was just from when I said Id drive around....then I stood there and waited another 20 MINUTES for the manager Megan, to stop making food...wearing gloves mind you...to come give me my money back. Yes I did call this manager out on the fact that she stood right next to the employee...and didnt say anything about her not wearing gloves...she was busy making her own food she told me! Lol well, well see what the dept. of health says....Oh and yes, Of course I do realize that just because a restaurant may wear gloves doesnt mean they are more clean then others..(insert winkie face)...Not my first food rodeo!! Dont eat here people, but if you do dont say I didnt warn you!!
Its fast food, but there is nothing fast about the service @ that one... With 2 cars in the drive thru & I was the only one in the dine in area I still waited almost 10 mins for food that is just sitting there... Only after the drive thru was clear, my order was then handled...
Slow moving staff. Too busy complaining about their job. The manager should invest in a belt. It would speed up production if she didnt have to pull up her pants every 10 seconds. Side note... Millennials, if you dont want to be called lazy... Dont be. I am a millennial and have realized hard work means more money.
Ive lived in Cortland for about 8 months and out of the 3 times Ive gone to this location they gave me the wedges instead of macaroni, and the buns were hard all 3 times. Maybe it was because it was late. I never say anything but they are more pricey and last night it happened again. A manager even took our order.
Was in about a week ago 2 employees were out back arguing which esculated to behind counter out front small children in restaurant with employees using fowl language and one wanting to fight the other one horrible language and then one was arguing with a customer will not go back there ever again lost customers also due to their stupidity, need more professional employees who care about their jobs and performance
I JUST CAME FROM OUR LOCAL CORTLAND KFC AND I AM VERY UPSET! NOT ONLY DID THEY DO AWAY WITH THE VARIETY BUCKET, SALADS, AND THE MINI APPLE PIES, THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT MY CHECK FOR PAYMENT. I OFFERRED TO PROVIDE MY DRIVERS LICENSE, BUT THE GIRL AT THE REGISTER SAID SHE HAD NEVER ACCEPTED A CHECK AND DIDNT KNOW HOW, SO, NO THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY CHECK. NOW I HAVE HEARD OF BUSINESSES REFUSING TO ACCEPT PLASTIC, BUT I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THE DAY WHEN MY PERSONAL CHECK COULD NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR A $21.00 PURCHASE! NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! I GOT THE TOTAL IMPRESSION THAT THEY JUST DIDNT WANT TO BE BOTHERED. IN THE PAST I HAVE ENDURED ORDERS THAT ARE ABSENT THE THINGS I ASKED FOR WHEN I GOT HOME AND WAITING 10 MINUTES OR MORE FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS ON THE MENU BUT NOT READY AT THE TIME. 2022-07-05Never ever gets the order right for a door dash delivery. The food if and when it does comes is not fresh and is absolutely disgusting. I am not sure why this place is even open, their food is always nasty

2022-06-14Service was very slow. Once we finally received our meal, the food was delicious! Recommend it for the food, but not for the service. Staff wasnt friendly either. Overall, not impressed.

2022-03-03If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Employees got my order wrong and when I went back to get it fixed, they were very rude and reluctant to help me. There is no compassion for customers here. I would not recommend anyone eat here, A&W is better and the workers are quick and give great customer service.

2022-02-06Staff were definitely stressed out but one member of the team named Richard was very rude to all the customers in drive through and in the lobby. He even made the comment ( Ill throw bricks at him if you want) talking about a customer in drive thru. I was going to record the horrible things but I didnt want to get in trouble for recording it without them knowing. Most of the staff were nice and I can understand the stress they were under but Richard needs a job he doesnt have to deal with customers. Sorry Richard but I give you a ⭐

2022-01-30This place is ridiculous in all aspects of the word, poor customer service, horrible attitudes, extremely rude, basically lied to me about prices, and if I didnt look the prices up myself, I would have been overcharged by at 35 to 40$ bucks, HAHA nice try, first of all Change your whole outlook on customer service, second of all learn how to treat people, and third of all maybe store manangement needs to be retrained properly, for lack of better words this place is trash along with its employees. Dont waste your time there. Wish I could rate it 1/2 a star instead of 1 star which is very generous. Trash

2022-01-30My family continually has issues with this location but, tonight was the worst encounter we’ve had. The employee that I believe to be either the team leader or Manager tonight was extremely rude & dishonest. We won’t be visiting this location again, I think they need to train their workers again or find people who will do their jobs without a disrespectful unprofessional attitude.

2022-03-25Was forgotten about and waited over 20 minutes for biscuits before having to remind them. No apologies, food was cold by the time I got them.
