My kids have been taking lessons for just about two years and have progressed well with their instruments and really enjoy working with the instructors. A positive experience all around.

Our backyard pool party was nearly thwarted by rain but Kidz Hitz came and saved the day! They were professional, the truck was immaculate and all the kids at the party had an amazing time singing their favorite tunes. We highly recommend them to make your party memorable! My kids love this place. Weve been talking them there for a few years now. They threw a party there for them a few weeks ago and my husband and and I were thrilled. Plus the owner is a sweetheart and very professional. Its also been completely renovated so its nice to know by kids are in a clean and comfortable environment. Highly recommend.
While the instructors at this establishment are all phenomenal, the owner of this business, Patrizia Floro, has periodically engaged in unacceptable and unpleasant behavior in the location, and in front of students. Whether it is engaging in political commentary in the waiting area, flirting with (and in some cases dating) married and unmarried fathers of students, or being rude and condescending, I have been periodically surprised and appalled at the absolute lack of regard for professionalism and decency from her. I would have to agree with the previous negative review in saying she is an unpredictable and aggressive individual. Do not patronize this business, there are far better options in the area run by far better people.
My son studies percussion at this school with Cliff, and loves it. Cliff is a top-notch pedagogue, and Patrizia runs an awesome program here all-around. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience! Rockstar party is phenominal! Kids get to record their own song and sing karaoke on the rock star stage! Professional staff... the owner is a pleasure to deal with!!
As a teacher, in my opinion this place totally rocks! Kidzhitz is a place where each child can fulfill and align to their inner rockstar. Where self esteem leads the way!
I must begin by mentioning the teachers are great.I never write reviewsExceptional in one case that I know of. However, if you dont mind dealing with a lecherous lunatic owner whose inappropriate behavior, questioning, and conversation, i.e in many cases amounting to pining over married and unmarried husbands, her exploits, gossiping about most of the clients. If you can avoid her then carry on. Otherwise beware. She is a ticking time bomb waiting to unleash. The woman is a little more than a bit off.Although warned, I didnt think it would necessarily be a problem until she began her rampage in front of my 7 year old daughter. I walk in with my daughter and she begins to scream at me for responding to a text i sent her at 7 in the morning. She proceeds to tell me its unfathomable that anyone send a text at 7,09 am on a weekday morning. I began to explain to her it was the only time some people have to respond to anything. I work in a hospital. I am only able to respond to my phone before or after work. She was incensed, unpredictable, and proceeded to tell me that no one has ever ever texted her before 9 am. Insanity. She was obviously off her meds that day. I was completely taken off. She was doing this all the while my daughter is in close proximity. If that is not enough she rushes into my 7 year old daughters lesson and continues the argument inside. I left with her shouting at me in front of my daughter. Beware of matron if she becomes unhinged.
Patrizia is devoted to the kids. She has a strong teaching staff and the kids really enjoy learning to play.
A great, friendly environment filled with very talented instructors willing to give anything to help someone be the best musician they can be!
Patrizia is great. Totally hands on. Kids love the program. Best around!
This is a wonderful place for kids to learn music and make first records. Very unique experience.

2020-08-11This establishment is one of the nicest, most warm and friendly music schools around. It is a wholesome environment where the staff are top notch music educators with degrees in music education. My child is obsessed with her flute lessons and loves being at kidzhitz to even just sit on a bean bag chair and socialize with the other aspiring musicians. They also have programs for Girl Scouts to record songs and make an event out of receiving a music badge !The policies are strict and the owner is very professional as to keep the organization as organized and fun as possible. Kudos to her for giving the town this amazing place to help children to learn and grown through music.

2017-10-25Both of my children took lessons at KidzHitz and were extremely happy and satisfied. The place was warm and inviting with a very friendly atmosphere. The children were encouraged to be vocal about their dreams and ambitions so they could best be instructed. My daughter wrote and produced several songs with the help of Patrizia. She offered great ideas and pushed her to be creative in her music and finish the songs. My son took drum lessons and progressed nicely with the instructors. Everyone was warm, friendly, very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. I also found that while waiting for my daughter to finish other students would come in very excited for their lessons. I would highly recommend KidzHitz to any one in Long Island looking for a place for their child(ren) to learn and grow through music.

2017-08-20I was welcomed into the Kidzhitz family 5 years ago, and it has been nothing BUT a pleasure. The staff is excellent, the students are continuously inspired by teachers to pursue their musical endeavors in a FUN, engaging environment. There are countless amounts of opportunities for the students to be heard and perform, in various community events, festivals, as well as our recording studio. As soon as you walk into Kidzhitz, you can truly feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere from the staff, as well as Patrizia the owner/manager. It is ALL ABOUT THE STUDENTS at Kidzhitz and we want them to succeed, always. Kidzhitz is unlike any other music studio, because each lesson is completely individualized and catered towards the students interests, ambitions and goals. Theyll learn the fundamentals of music, while having fun every step of the way!

2017-08-23I have been teaching at KIDZHITZ for the past 5 years and it has been a great experience instilling the love of music into new musicians. We perform several large venues a year during the Fall Festival, The Tulip Festival as well as the Holiday Parade. The children at Kidzhitz learn to play at their own pace and the style of music that speaks to them as individuals. Our mission is to help children to learn and grow through music and it has been my pleasure in doing so the last several years at this studio. Our new RockStar Party space holds 20-30 children and they get to record a song and perform karaoke on our main stage as well as have pizza and cake during our 1 1/2 hour party. Stop in for a free trial music lesson next time your on Main Street in Huntington Village!

2019-08-22I was an intern at Kidzhitz over the summer and it was a great experience for me! The place is really fun and you can tell how it inspires kids. It is such a well run place and the owner, Patrizia, was a great mentor to me and taught me so much!

2017-08-23Ive known the Patrizia Floro for about 10 years. She is very dedicated and passionate about Kidtz Hits. Creating a fun and welcoming environment for her students was very important to her,as she recently updated and added new decor. Her priority was to make sure these kids felt like Stars in a very welcoming atmosphere. A very creative and fun music studio!

2020-02-06I’ve Taking my children here for several years. They are now actually working at kidzhitz as part-time party helpers.I have seen this place grow and thrive in our downtown Huntington Village. The owner is a really special person who is continuously giving back to her students and to the community.
