Could not believe what just happened I was waiting in line and the cashier helped two people then she looked up at the woman in front of me and said you’re my last customer. I said you’re joking as I have been here while you were serving two other people and you said nothing about her being your last customer. She said she’s my last customer. Even the woman in front of me said “that’s wrong” . I left the groceries there and went to self check out and asked if he was the manager? He said what happened I told him and he turned away. I said excuse me are you the manager? He said I am calling the manager be patient. I was shocked as he never said let me get the manager he just turned away I left and I will never go back. Not the nicest staff
Made reservations for 4 adults and one child for outdoor seating. The girl at the front reservation podium seated us at a tiny 4 seat table. I told her we needed to fit another chair for the child and the table was too small for 5 plates, drinks, water, etc., and we asked to be moved to the larger, empty table next to us. She argued that we said we had an infant...clearly we did not as our kindergartener is not an infant. She then said that she could put us at a larger table in front of the restaurant next to Highway 27. Um... We stood firm and ended up at the table next to us but she was not happy...and now neither were we. It was our first time there. Pretty setting. Maybe fix the wobbly tables so napkins arent stuffed under the legs. Love the orange umbrellas. Very clean. Food was just okay. Wont be rushing back anytime soon.
Last night I was cursed at and threatened by the younger blond hair liberal male and the larger set old Indian male bc I forgot a mask. I think your employees need to be reminded that they are not security guards they are not police and they by no means have any authority of any kind: they are customer service they ring people up. That is all. Next time I will press charges against the individuals and king kullen as a whole
I like the store but the layout took some figuring out. I met the founding family as a client years ago. I know they care about their product and customer satisfaction. I just have less experience in their stores. I expect my rating to increase once I learn my way around the store. The checkout clerk was a joy.

I went to the bakery to get a Caramel Cheesecake & there werent any but the employee told me she would make me one. I was thrilled that she took the time to do that for me
Excellent, well run store. Clean with very fresh produce and cakes. When we had trouble finding an item, Jeanine was extremely helpful and kind, searching for and ultimately finding it for us.
First, absolutely disgusting bathroom for customers. A disgrace especially in the time of COVID-19. Soap dispenser not working, no toilet paper holder, dirty walls, floors, etc. Paying customers, especially in this area, deserve better. But also, patrons can definitely clean up after themselves better.This place was bought out by another company but kept the name. The sandwiches we used to get were fresh and big. Not fresh anymore and very little in them for the same price. Wont be back.
This store is pretty good. They have everything, even specialty items other stores dont have such as seeds and grains etc. I always find what Im looking for. Plenty of parking. Fast check out. Some prices are high but for the most part they are reasonable.Fresh fruit and vegetables.
Always friendly staff, i really appreciate the way Lisa and Rachel make you feel so good about shopping there. Its like hanging with family(and no they are not).Grocery shopping here is something you look forward to. And its not just me they treat everyone I see like that. All have been friendly and helpful but I just had to give a shout out to these two.
Ok, so who gets excited going to the supermarket...well, apparently I do if Im writing about it. 3 things: dont go hungry...I overbought, the circular isnt on their website but it can be found so shop the sales, and remember to bring in your own bags. The sales are good compared to the next big supermarket.
Love this supermarket ! You can find pretty much anything here - from fresh produce to sun chairs and memorial candles! Large bakery and organic section too, plus their sugar cookies are plain addictive - soft and tasty! Stop and Shop is a dungeon compare to this store ! Definitely recommend!!!
With very rare exceptions I find the staff to be really kind and willing to help you. They have workers who have been there for decades and make you feel like family. This is a great part of Hampton Bays.

Very wide selection of items for being in HB, but some of the staff is rude. The people who work at the deli are very considerate. However, if you bring a backpack in the store you will have 3 people following you at all times, which can be quite offensive to some.

We vacation in Hampton Bays and always stock up here on groceries for our villa. Clean store and prices arent bad! Staff are always friendly and helpful
Management is not understanding of their employees or their customers. The berries are always leaking on the belts, tomatoes are half moldy, milk is returned spoiled, and it is not mandatory to follow covid face covering procedures. Customers are still being allowed into the store and rung up by staff without a mask. Very unprofessional, and the staff is always on their phones instead of putting the customer first. Will not be returning, very disappointed as a former employee and former customer
So disappointed. All their produce was very tired looking. They had huge supplies of produce, but it all was past its best before date. The red peppers that I did purchase were rotten when I got them home. The sugar snap peas were tough. The raspberries were moldy. The blueberries were wrinkled, but no mold. The lemons were soft. And all seemed very expensive compared to other stores I have shopped at. This was on a Thursday and none of their produce looked fresh.

Produce is fresh. Lots of variety. Prices are reasonable and less than in many places. Deli staff friendly and helpful, and checkout staff friendly and accommodating. I depend on this supermarket regularly.
Been there many times, when desperate, since the prices are too high, ambience is dreary, selection of fresh, organic ,and deli = not good, not tasty. Very poor quality compared to other grocery stores.

Well organized and stocked grocery store, clean and it exceeded my expectations.
You can usually find what you want pretty easy, and the workers are pretty nice except for a small few. Every so often youll find some stuff out of place or without prices, but someone working the floor will help out. Plus, theyre open pretty late in case you get a sudden craving late at night.
I used to do the carts at this store... Im an epileptic and I had been trained to do inside work. After 4 yrs, I never got to work inside until one day the former manager (who was transferred because he was not polite)asked me to clean up the bathroom which literally had human feces everywhere and I told him no. Fast forward Im trying to get a job again and I figured new boss why not try... went in 3 x the third time he tells me I have been put down as a no re hire...
Two times in a row this King Kullen has sold me meats that have given me food poisoning.The meat was cooked fully on my end, I dont like rare meat.First time I thought it was a mistake, second time I know it is this establishments improper handling or packaging of their meats.ALSO their produce packaged by them (specifically string beans this time) had mold. Maybe next time just let the customer bag up the produce on their own instead of giving us extra trash like styrofoam and Plastic wrapping and also letting it sit on the shelf for TOO LONG...
I had a very bad experience with the deli clerk,she was a short old white female.i walk over to the deli counter to place my order,the clerk was in the bake wiping down the counter with windex.she looked at me with disdain. I asked her could I please get some help.she replys I cleaning the counters rudely.she made me wait a few minutes then came over and said what I placed my order she attempted to cut the meat with same gloves that she was cleaning the counter with windex. Im quit sure she act that way because Im a black male and she didnt have a problem letting me know she was a racist.
I wish I could give less than 1 star. We went in with our emotional support dog, and when someone asked us to take him outside, we (my dog and I) respectfully left while my mother continued to shop. When checking out, she overheard the same old man who told us to leave talking about how crazy people brought some dog into the store. Even though we followed what they said, their employees are just too rude and bored, so they continued to gossip- in a grocery store. Not to mention that our local King Kullen has no issue with our extremely friendly dog. This wasnt the only thing either. When we asked where the brussel sprouts were (this was our first time at this King Kullen) they ignored and walked away. I dont expect amazing customer service everywhere I go, but they should help their customers instead of neglecting them.
Horrible experience went to purchase baby formula and baby food with my wic debit card. After my transaction I forgot to buy diaper rash ointment and instead of waiting in line I went to self check out. I was then approached by 2 workers Carmen and Reyna, the asked if I bought the formula I giggled and yes with wic Carmen then asked me for my receipt witch I handed to her and she said to me this is not the receipt I replied yes it is she then asked me to show her the cashier witch I did. Both the cashier and I where shocked. The cashier said yes she bought it. Carmen did not even apologize. I left the store so embarrassed that I called to speak to the manager he also did not apologize and only said Im going to find out what happened ok so not only am I a thief but a liarWordy experience ever.

Its a supermarket. What can you say...hit or miss getting cold cuts, cut the way you want, and for some reason, I was told they cannot order the ice cream I would like. Something about they cannot add SKUs, only order from existing list.... How does a store get new products?

The hours of operation do really matter. Its open till midnight, but at 9pm Deli is closed and floors are being cleaned. One register open to serve several customers. Not good.

2021-10-17This supermarket has everything for your grocery needs. The aisle are pretty open and are nicely cleaned and well stocked. The produce could have been better but not bad either. The mums in the front were nice. Definitely go check them out for your groceries.

2021-09-04King Kullen is a lovely place to buy. They have the best fresh bread and an amazing amount of desserts made by them (their brownies are a slow death) you can be sure that you will find anything you need and find a vegan/organic version of everything. I found that they have good prices and it’s a place that you can be sure they have good quality products

2022-07-12I ordered a birthday cake for my birthday omg it was amazing! Friends and family couldn’t believe how fresh and delicious it was ! The bakers name is dawn ! Then orders Fourth of July cake same experience! I was so happy it so was my company!! Will always order my cakes there.

2022-05-311970s until 2020s.....my father went here in the early 1970s bought a bunch of groceries for the week. Turns out for him to be the most expensive groceries he ever bought. When visiting me in Hampton Bays, he again bought some groceries 50 years later and guess what STILL the most expensive groceries hes ever bought. They have whatever you need but for the past 50 years are still the most expensive grocery store.

2022-07-03A medium size supermarket. The selection is good, and the location is very convenient. Ice is only sold in 20 lbs bags. Produce is generally well-stocked. The organic vegetable section is in the back of the produce section, close to the bakery.

2022-05-05Very clean store. Not crowded. I find it very expensive. If youre not getting the item thats on sale the prices are outrageous for regular price items compared to other supermarkets. Also they dont carry all the different brands.Got more expensive now. I bought ingredients for tacos and spent 100 dollars
