All of us remain eternally indebted to my godfather Hon. Louis D. Fiorillo. This man was generous to a fault, a most dedicated, prime example of a state official who really gave a damn. Why did you have to pass on Lou? You were and remain exceptional! God bless you, and thanks for everything!
Ms. Ferguson,I will forever be in your debt. SHE made the process of filing my divorce easy. After moving from one window to the other and encountering one rude clerk after another (and biting my normally sharp tongue until it bled!), I encountered Ms. Ferguson who went OUT OF HER WAY to help me and then notarize my papers. I will never forget her.
Appallingly bad. Endless voicemail message, finally got to the end, Made a selection, got another endless voicemail message, pushed the number that it said would connect me directly to the department I wanted, and WAS SENT BACK TO THE FIRST ENDLESS MESSAGE. System seems designed to discourage callers.
No one to talk to, I live 2 hours away and needed to find out about a traffic court date. Impossible to get through to anyone at the county clerks office. I would rate it a 0 if that was an option. Supervisors need to read these reviews and investigate the reasons why people get frustrated when dealing with this office.
I would rate it zero star if there was an option. I tried to call them for help, the lady answered the phone was extremely impatient, she kept repeating what is your question? while i was explaing to her that i am not a native English speaker and i may need help with language. Afterall, she just answered me you need to be here in person and then hang up the phone before i had a second to say something.

2022-05-27All staff in rm.189 and 122c was very helpful and friendly for my divorce process except for the rude person who was working on the 10 fl matrimonial side today at 4pm. She was very rude and Unprofessional I didnt bother to even answer to her attitude because I really need my papers done finally but she should be disciplined. I guess she doesnt like her job .

2021-09-27I went to the for filing a paper for publishing a business. I have been told to do it online, and I did. They answered me with information. No publisher wanted to except the information they sent me. I called county clerk for help the guy that picked up propose me to change the publisher in order to get help. When I told him I dont want to do that. I said I just wanted you to give me the correct information on the paper for them to proceed with the publishing process. The guy was so upset and Hong up the phone on me.

2020-11-20Emailed them and got a prompt and clear response of what to do, what to vring, how much to pay. I arrived early and was done in minutes. Everything was handled outside for safety. Very positively surprised by how efficient this was.

2019-12-15Very helpful and professional staff. Took me no time to get things done. I suggest to do online research of the list of the documents you need that are relevant to your case. “Clerks minutes” online folder helps to track your case outcome by the index number.

2020-01-16I have been calling for days and having no luck. All I am trying to do is find out if my notary renewal was received after over 6 weeks if submission. I have no idea if the received it and cannot get anyone on the phone to speak with regarding this. Looks like I will have to take time off of work to go there and make an inquiry in person. This is horrible!

2018-09-20I just called this number looking for information a few minutes ago. It is now (12:01). The clerk diliberatelty just hung up on me. She told me that the information I needed couldn’t be provided by her and upon me requesting a number to get the information I need, she hung up on me. “No I don’t have the number have a nice day.” Click. That was extremely rude of her and I think she needs to retire if she’s tired of her job.

2017-04-20The first time I called, someone actually picked up the phone (cant find that original number), so,, had to call, go thru many prompts, then hope to be able to hear the person on the other end, and/or get transferred to 211 or 311, oh joy. Very sad state of affairs that needs to be fixed, these people probably make a decent living and a pension and provide little to no service while us citizens wait on line with blood pressure rising,, it is a huge shame and embarrasment on the organization - HORRIBLE! oh ps, still on hold while the same message keeps coming on - not sure if I will ever get thru,, biggest problem, nobody cares!
