With so many studios in the city sometimes it can be hard to know which is going to be the best fit-The advantage of working with a smaller studio is a very one to one hands-on approach-you get the feeling that the project you’re working on is the most important project at the studio.Josh, producer and engineer, is extremely passionate about music, his gear, and your experience at the space. His analog gear collection is pretty impressive-The ethos is the space is to capture music in it’s purest form and the gear present definitely gets that job done.There’s an incredible Steinway Upright, it’s from the golden era and has an incredible vibe.Kizmit has a laid-back atmosphere while still being very serious about the music at hand.Cannot recommend the studio enough!

There are so many studios with a Neve or an SSL or Amek or something and they al seem the same after a while. This is an oasis in New York City. A true fresh breath of what a studio environment SHOULD be. Welcoming, peaceful, inspiring and open. Joshua Rouah is not just a fantastic engineer and curator of fine vintage and modern equipment, but he is also one of the best producers Ive seen work in a very long time. I cant say enough about Kizmit Studios.

One of the best Studios I’ve ever been in NYC. From the Vibe of the place to the legendary equipments. And Most importantly working with Joshua is always fun and productive. KIZMIT forever.

Gorgeous design and large space to explore music. A lot of cool tools! Owner is a very creative and helpful person. Good service, and connections to other musicians.
