I located Dr. Klapowitz through a colleagues sister, who is also an MD. I had less than satisfactory results elsewhere and I had been asking around looking for the best internist in Manhattan. Dr. Klapowitz is it.Our health and wellness can be complicated and tied to a number of factors in our lives. Dr. Klapowitz spends time answering my questions and parsing through any concerns I have. I always leave his office knowing I am in good hands and have someone who cares for my well-being. Cannot recommend him enough.Thanks Dr. Klapowitz.

I have been Dr. Julian Klapowitzs patient for many years, and I tend to think in terms of superlatives in regard to him. He is a first class diagnostician, up to date with the latest medical know-how; he also refers a patient to a specialist such as a cardiologist or a rheumatologist when the diagnosis calls for it. The most wonderful thing about him is that he cares for his patients, and I always leave his office feeling Im in good hands.

A great internist, and an even better travel medicine doc. Hes been my primary care doctor for over ten years, and has been an amazingly steady and calming influence in my life. He also found a problem with my brother that other docs had missed, and literally saved his life.Recently he did my travel medicine work up for a trip; informed me of some preventive maneuvers I had no idea about. Spends an extraordinary amount of time with me every time I am there.

Ive seen Dr. Klapowitz a few times now, and already feel very comfortable with him, and trust his judgement. My wife is also a physician and always agrees with his realistic treatments, and diagnoses. Best physician Ive been to as an adult. The office staff are also excellent. Friendly, organized, and efficient. I highly recommend both Dr. Klapowitz and his staff.

I would say that I have been a patient of Dr. Klapowitzs for 10 years. In that time, I have come to trust his judgment and concern for his patients completely. I first learned of Dr. Klapowitz from a friend of mine who survived ovarian caner. Her oncologist sends his own children to Dr. Klapowitz. I could not recommend another physician more highly than Dr. Klapowitz.

Caring, extremely competent, easy to get along with, all around 100%. I wish my insurance still covered him. After being his patient for 15 years, I can no longer see him because United dropped him. Cannot recommend him more highly.
