I highly recommend Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks! I was really dreading the process of researching and finding a hotel block for my wedding, but then I found out about Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks via Reddit.I submitted a short form on their website, and very soon after, Stephanie got in touch with me. She asked me a few questions about what I prioritized in a hotel, and a few days later, she sent me back a very detailed spreadsheet comparing options. My fiance and I were able to easily compare amongst the options and make the best choice. Once we selected the hotel, Stephanie worked with the hotels staff to get my block booked.Along the way, Stephanie was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. It would have taken way longer if I had done this myself. Best of all, the cost of this service itself is free (Kleinfeld negotiates with the hotel to take a percentage of the room sales from the block). Service was unmatched, I am so happy I was able to connect with Stephanie. She answered my million plus questions and never made me feel like there wasnt anything I could ask her. She went above and beyond and got the hotel to give me a gratuity block because I was so indecisive with the number of guests I would need. She was great and I am so happy with the outcome. Highly recommend letting Kleinfeld arrange your hotel blocks - we worked with Sara Hess from Kleinfeld who contacted a long list of hotels near our wedding venue and saved us a ton of time - it wouldve taken us forever to do this ourselves. She also worked directly with reps from each hotel we chose and helped us interpret some of the contract items. Were really happy with the results and the time it saved us.
Allyson was such a pleasure to work with! Booking hotel blocks for our wedding was one of the things I was most worried about since over half of our guests are coming from out of town. I was extremely indecisive with which hotels I wanted to book because there are so many in the area and Allyson did not let that bother her. I worked with Allyson and she was absolutely amazing. In less than 2 days she sent me a spreadsheet with information for 10+ hotels in the area surrounding my venue. This service is really worth it, I was having such a hard time trying to get a hotel block on my own and Sara really made the process easy. I worked with Marcie to help find a room block for my wedding. Most places were unresponsive and I was getting stressed trying to contact several places and awaiting their responses. Marcie was my fairy godmother. She emailed me back within 48 hours with three hotels and pricing. When I asked for another hotel that was not on the list she emailed me back with a response from the hotel the next day! She went above and beyond with obtaining rooms the night before and the night of the wedding date. This was truly a seamless experience and I am grateful for working with Marcie. Before I found out about Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks, I was getting a headache just thinking about blocking rooms after hearing about how big of a pain it would be. Marcie was great to work with. I had used the hotel blocks option on The Knot and it was all do it yourself if a hotel even gave a quote. This was definitely so much easier. I would definitely recommend it to brides in the future for hotel blocks. Even if you already know what hotel you have in mind, it’s just a breeze having someone get the contracts for you. At first, this service seemed wonderful: they found what looked like 2 great hotels, the prices for the rooms were great, and the service was free. It was too good to be true. When our wedding weekend arrived, nothing we had contracted with the hotels actually happened. We contracted to have a suite for my bridesmaids and me to get ready at one hotel--the front desk did not give it to us. In fact, they knew nothing about our wedding or the room block! They didnt even have my name right. =so much stress at a time I was already stressed.We then attempted to get ready at the other hotel, which promised our room by noon, and then by 1PM, and then by...? We got ready in the LOBBY, with guests walking by, because neither hotel was actually ready for us for our WEDDING. = so much stress.Our contracts stated we would be awarded hotel points for all of our guests rooms which was a big incentive for us; we travel a lot. We never got the contracted hotel points.When I informed our Kleinfeld contact about the failures, she promised action, but once again--nothing actually happened. Your wedding is a one-shot deal, so I dont know what sort of post-remedy would helped fix my wedding day anyway. But youd think theyd care about the poor service future clients will receive. Dont risk having to get dressed for your wedding in the lobby bathroom.
Emily was AMAZING. She was in contact within 24 hours of me submitting a request, selected a variety of hotels to request information from, and considered what we wanted most when recommending hotels. She sent an entire spreadsheet with information from each hotel she contacted, and then offered her recommendation based on what we wanted and what the hotels offered. She made it super easy to book hotel blocks for our destination wedding in an area we arent familiar with, and took that last bit of wedding planning stress off my shoulders. We had our hotel blocks booked about 2 weeks after I contacted Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks! I highly recommend using them.

The breakdown included pricing, parking fees (if any), amenities, # of rooms, everything!She then made the outreach to the hotel we selected (which took some time on my end, but Emily was beyond patient).If anyone is second guessing using Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks — PLEASE do it. Marcie was the most helpful vendor I have come across in wedding planning so far!! Being that this service is free & you do not have to be a customer of Kleinfelds to utilize them is such an added bonus! All I did was fill out an inquiry form on the website & a few days later I received a spreadsheet of information from 10+ hotels local to my venue. EVERY question you could imagine regarding each hotel is answered for you & you simply choose which hotel you would like to have for your room block, e-sign a contract & you are all set! Overall easy and free service but dont trust them! They gave me some sub par recommendations and pushed one specific hotel calling it one of Kleinfelds premier locations. Since it sounded good and I trusted the Kleinfeld brand I booked it. The hotel was TERRIBLE. I emailed the person I worked with to tell her how dissatisfied I was with the recommendation and miss representing it and her response was kind but also stating that it was supposed to be renovated but because of covid it was not. I originally had this place booked for September 2020 and booked early 2020 so calling it premier in February means it was considered that before covid. Be mindful its a free service because Im sure theyre getting a cut from hotels and they clearly dont mind pushing subpar hotels on their clients. I expected more from the Kleinfeld brand. Do your research before trusting their reccomendations.
My fiancé and I had a great experience using Kleinfeld hotel blocks! Marcie was super helpful in providing us a spreadsheet of all the hotels near our venue. She provided details of what each hotel included and did not include. We were able to quickly narrow down our hotel choice and sign a contract with the hotel. There were a few things on the contract I wanted to change with the hotel and Marcie was more than accommodating reaching out to the hotel for us. I would highly recommend using Kleinfeld hotel blocks!

I was extremely indecisive and hesitant when it came to number of rooms to block, number of hotel blocks in general, where to stay and get ready morning of my wedding, etc etc. and let me tell you, Katie was my saving grace. My wedding is in my backyard and in semi-rural area of New Jersey and Emily was able to source and provide details on several hotels in the area, including many that were offering a shuttle service! We were extremely overwhelmed with trying to find the right hotels near our wedding reception venue that would be the right price point but not looking like a motel 6 on the inside. We had never heard of a company that is willing to do all of this hard work without charging us anything! Emily worked with us in finding all the qualities in hotels that were most important to us. If you are planning a wedding.... YOU NEED TO USE THIS SERVICE! Katie Fodera reached out to me a few days after I booked my venue.. I was skeptical about the service and thought it was too good to be true. But it was everything they said it was plus more!!!! When Katie reached out, I explained to her what was important to me when looking for a hotel (after party space, shuttle, room for brunch, distance from my venue etc.) She contacted about 20 hotels within 15 mile radius from my venue. She asked them all of the questions I had, plus more! Like whether or not the hotel had a bridal suite. What the minimum was on the room blocks and whether or not the hotel would hand out welcome bags. She even asked them if there would be construction going on at the time of our wedding! Shes amazing! Katie also handled all communication with the hotel for me. She set up an appointment for me to view the hotel, she negotiated the prices for me, and she even helped me with signing the contract. Katie is professional, responsive, extremely organized, and a pleasure to work with! She made the entire process seamless and stress-free. I dont know how I wouldve done this without her or Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks! Thank you Katie!

Booking hotel blocks was the one thing on my list that I wasn’t excited about. I’m so glad I found this service, and even happier that I got to work with Emily. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, organized, and quick to respond. After getting initial details about my dates, venue, and hotel preferences, she got in touch with several hotels in the area and put all of the info I would ever need into a spreadsheet for me to review. There were things included that I never would have thought to ask myself.I came across another hotel a few days later that I was interested in, and Emily contacted them and added them to the spreadsheet the very next day. Emily made the process seamless for me and I can’t recommend her and the rest of her team enough!

Emily was my hotel block fairy Godmother (yes she earns that job title!) It was so awesome that Kleinfeld offers this option to brides who are worried about where their guests are going to stay. Instead of just the one hotel block at the venue, Emily found a hotel that actually offered me 20 rooms for my guests! I didnt even do any work expect send her an email and sign some paperwork. Shes been so great, especially with a pandemic going on. Her main priority was keeping me informed of what was going on and giving me plenty of time to choose what I wanted as the bride. Its a big task to try to connect with all of the appropriate personnel at hotels to get estimates on hotel blocks, and I just didnt have enough time in my day to work a full-time job, plan other aspects of the wedding, AND reach out to multiple hotels. Everyone should use Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks and work with the amazing and talented Allyson Wegeler. Being a same sex couple, we werent sure the service was available to us as we were not brides so we werent getting dresses from Kleinfelds. I am so happy I reached out. When I did I got the most amazing and warm welcome from Allyson. We worked with her to secure hotel blocks for our Oct 2020 wedding in New York City and words cannot fully express our gratitude to her. She did all the heavy lifting. There is no way we could have reached the number and quality of hotels that Allyson provided us. Not only did she give us amazing options (as NYC hotels in Oct are very pricey) she got us luxury at a great price. I was so worried that our out of town guests would not be able to afford high-end hotels in Manhattan but thanks to Allyson, not only will they be able to stay in luxury but we got a tremendous suite at an amazing price for my partner and I. I also cant say enough about Allysons professionalism. I have never worked with someone so prompt, courteous, and fun. I felt like I was working with a good friend. She had our interest front and center the entire and she made us feel important. My many questions (and I asked a lot) were always met with a cheery, positive and professional response. Wedding planning is stressful but working with Allyson took all the stress related to getting hotel blocks away. Again, we will never be able to thank Allyson Wegeler enough. I cant believe I never knew this service existed! We were alerted to its existence by a venue manager and Im so glad we found out about it. All my married friends said, without a doubt, that booking hotel blocks was one of the most stressful parts of their experience as a bride -- with Kleinfelds help, there has been no stress at all! They sent us a comprehensive list of all the hotels nearby our venue, along with descriptions to help us decide. They also got us AMAZING rates that our out-of-towners couldnt believe - its pretty hard to find affordable hotel rooms in NYC. Katie worked with us through the process and couldnt have been more helpful. Still in shock that this service is free--every bride needs to contact Kleinfelds Hotel Blocks!!!!

2022-03-30I cannot express my appreciation for this service enough. I worked with Katherine to set up my hotel block for my wedding and it was the least stressful part of wedding planning. I had originally tried to contact hotels on my own and found that I was struggling so much and playing an ongoing game of phone-tag with 10 different hotels. Katherine set up an excel sheet with details on every hotel in the area and highlighted my most important areas which were big spaces to get ready in and a bar that would stay open late. We are all set up with our hotel and they are amazing. I will be recommending this to all my friends getting married in the future!!!

2022-03-29One of the best decisions I made as a bride was working with Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks. I started working with Allyson a little over a year ago for my wedding in May. I loved and appreciated how detailed the information was for each hotel option. The fact that I didnt have to contact any of the hotels myself to inquire was a HUGE plus, all I had to do was sign. A week ago, 2 months before my wedding, the hotel we originally booked with had to cancel our reservation and thank God for Allyson! She reached out to us, offering help - and options - right away. If it actually wasnt for Allyson, we might not have known our block was cancelled until this week since we didnt hear from the hotel. Allyson helped us reach out to several hotels, scheduling visits, making sure they had what we needed, and within a week we were able to sign a new contract. I couldnt be more thankful for Allyson and Kleinfeld. If youre on the fence about having Kleinfeld help you with your block, do yourself a favor and reach out to them now!

2022-02-04We were looking for hotel options with courtesy blocks for our wedding, and Stephanie was SO easy to work! Rather than me having to reach out to every hotel about their hotel block policies, Stephanie took into account everything we were looking for (price point, distance, courtesy vs attrition, etc.), made an EXCEL SPREADSHEET, and negotiated with the hotel for us! All we needed to do was sign the hotel block contract in the end. It also gave me peace of mind knowing I had the best hotel options available for our guests. Really easy, convenient, and would recommend for anyone planning a big event (also, its a free service, like WHAT?!).
