Had a great experience earlier this week at Koerner with one of the sales people! Jeff helped me look at a few different options since my lease is up in a few months. He really got me excited about the new models and can’t wait to upgrade! Will definitely be back to do my business here.
Bought my car from Koerner in 2011 ..have been using their service department since I purchased my car. Love the service I receive ..Joe (Doc) Potocnak always takes good care of me. Always feel they are taking care of me and never try to sell me something I dont need. Recommend highly
Very disappointed in the service department. I scheduled a LOF and asked them to check shudder and a noise when accelerating and turning from a dead stop. LOF went fine. I saw the technician take my car for a test drive and he agreed there was something wrong. There were no codes coming up so they closed out my ticket and sent me on my way. They said they would call me if there were any updated service bulletins. Not satisfied with that response, I decided to visit another Ford dealer. Within moments of the technician test driving my vehicle, he believed one of two things could possibly be wrong with the vehicle. It was either the drive shaft or the clutches. How is it the Romano technician figured it right out. Lack of experience on the Koerner technician? Dont be satisfied with the first answer you get, if you know something is wrong, find a solution. Koerner gave up on my problem, so now I will give up on them as a service provider. Romano Ford has a new customer.
Had to call 3 times to make an appointment for an oil change on a company car. Upon arrival, I pulled into the service area. A service employee pulled up behind and got out red faced, “give me your key, your supposed to park in the lot!” I said I had an appointment. “Give me your key!” I said “I think I’ll take it to an instant oil change “. His snarky reply was, “good, you do that, now get out of the way!”Every other service place I’ve been has you pull in while a nice person greets you and directs you to service personnel. I’m not sure yelling at a customer is good for business. I won’t go back.
I really don’t know where to start. There are several things I can talk about over that past year that I take issue with (taking my car in for the same issue 2-3 times). Most importantly I believe the way customers are spoken to when calling for service can go a long way. Having repair issues with your vehicle can be stressful. Being spoken to in such a rude manner by a service call taker is what I remember most. More than once I have called to schedule service for repairs to my vehicle and one male in particular who answers the phone has spoken very rude to me. I am not a complainer and do not act as entitled customer by any means but on more than one occasion this male has been very rude on the phone. There was one other issue that I decline to speak about and asked for the manager who in fact was very respectful and professional. The manager at that point provided a solution to the issue.I will go as far to say that I do love the Ford brand and Ford cars have been the only cars that I have driven since I was able to drive (vehicles I’ve driven altogether - 3 Focus, 1 Escape, 1 Mustang)Most of my family drive Ford vehicles and I have members of my family who work in the business as well.I’m not usually a complainer and only put forth a response because I was asked to. I regret to say that I may not return to this location for repairs.
I have been sitting here trying to figure out how I can possibly put into words to accurately describe the amazing the experience that one young salesman at Kroner Ford gave me. There are not enough words. However, here it goes... Josh Kerr is the kindest sales person I think I have ever met. He was so patient and worked so hard to get us all the credits we were owed. He spent hours on the phone with Ford to get us the military discount he knew and believed we deserved. Before that he spent time looking for the exact Explorer I wanted in the color I was happy with. Josh’s attention to detail is impeccable, making sure that I dated and initialed everything completely. When everything was processed, he then walked me through everything including the FordPass app which I was new to. I have and will always continue to refer anyone and everyone I meet to Josh at Koerner Ford. In 3 years I will definitely be going back to Kroner Ford and working with Josh for my next lease.
Koerner Ford made buying a car an incredibly streamlined and pleasant experience. I was in the market for a used Mustang and the folks at Koerner were knowledgeable and transparent throughout the entire process. I was buying the care remotely and they found a car transit company to take care of the shipping. Once the car arrived, I was blown away by the immaculate shape the car was in, as was my mechanic who inspected it, who could not believe the car was used. I know this Mustang will last me a long time, but definitely plan on returning to Koerner whenever its time for a second vehicle. Ask for Josh, he made it all possible and was very helpful and patient with my many questions!
I have had some differences of opinion over some charges for service over the years, gotten irritated by some employee interactions that I have had, and have been a real pain in the butt on several occasions, but, in the end run, have walked away tremendously pleased with the staff and service at Koerner Ford... Over the last 20 years or so, I have bought three or four cars from Koerner and, if I live long enough, I will continue to do so. Great company, great product, great service!
The receptionist man at service center was rude and belittling when calling to schedule an appointment and asking about a possible recall. He was just as condescending upon arrival. Scheduled an appointment a week in advance for a oil change and tire rotation, waited an hour and a half for this plus 30 more mins to receive a extremely high estimate number written on a piece of paper.
Another great experience! Ive purchased many vehicles from Koerner Ford in the past. The staff at Koerner Ford helped me select exactly the vehicle I was looking for, a 2020 Explorer. I am beyond satisfied with my vehicle and even more so with the sales experience. As always, Koerner gave me a great price and a fair, honest deal. The purchase process and vehicle delivery were smooth and efficient. Theres a reason theyve been in business for over 60 years. Buy with confidence. Thanks again!
Nothing but exceptional experience here. Have bought two cars from here. Nothing short of excellent service in making sure I get what I am looking for. They go out of their way to help you. The finance department is awesome, they will do anything they can to help you. My sales guy Josh Kerr is exceptional. Down to earth, caring, compassionate, and truly goes the extra mile to help you find what youre looking for. Go see him if youre in the market. You wont be disappointed!.
We recently purchased a vehicle here, and have been very impressed with everyone along the way. Their obvious priority is to ensure that customers’ needs are met.Nate was resourceful and accommodating, as the salesman who worked primarily with myself and my husband. Melissa was polite, professional and transparent regarding the finances and paperwork. We also had the pleasure of working with Russ in the repair/service department, and were impressed with his expertise and attention to detail. Thank you to the entire team, including many I unfortunately do not know by name, for making this purchase a great experience.
I went into the dealership looking for a lease on a Ford Fusion. After some dealing, I was unable to get the lease payment that I could afford. The sales manager offered me a lease on a Ford Fusion hybrid which was at the lease payment that I was looking for. I had not even thought about getting a hybrid prior to this. The vehicle had a higher MSRP and had even more features than the Fusion I had been looking at. Im very pleased with the vehicle especially the mileage it gets and all the safety features it has. Tucker, the salesperson, was very pleasant and helpful and not pushy about trying to sell me a vehicle. The overall experience was a good one.
I have enjoyed being a happy Ford customer ever since the Ford Motor Company refused to take the government bailout that GM and Chrysler accepted. After 10 years they, (GM & Chrysler), continue to owe, $11B+ and $1B+, respectively. Ford merely accepted a line of credit and was able to stand on their own. I quickly dumped my Chryslers and the folks at Koerner Ford have been taking good care of me ever since. I have purchased/leased numerous vehicles from them and have all of my service needs performed there also. I do not hesitate to recommend them whenever I have the opportunity. From the mangers on down, they truly appreciate my business and I have never had a bad experience with anyone at the dealership. I used to hate going to car dealers but, I actually enjoy going there. Shout outs to Melissa, Dave, Ben, Fred, Pete, Doc, Bryan, Tammy and the entire staff at Koerner - Thank You All!
If I could leave no stars I would. This place an absolute joke! My fiancé was nice enough to take his comment down. After being called and harassed. For telling the truth on his experience. However I am not. I also tried to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. But when you do shady business. And make customers feel like your problem is there’s. An experience like that can’t go without being shared. My fiancé left with a signed agreement of a used car. At the time the sales rep said it would be there the following week. First off how are you selling cars you don’t have? Anyway that was about a month and a half ago. Since then it’s has been endless phone calls, text messages, and stopping by. On our behalf on updates about this vehicle. All the while it has been an absolute waste of time. It’s always an excuse ending with Ford blaming the shop that was doing the work. On replacing a tail gate. And then having to get another tailgate from down south. Never once taking ownership for there mistake on selling a car they didn’t have. And most likely had more wrong with it then they disclosed. Nor trying to work something out for my fiancé in making this right. The last straw with this dealer was today. 10/9/2020 I called to figure out where the car is. After the sales women said the car would be able to test drive yesterday 10/8/2020. And would be available to purchase Saturday. Spoke to Tom and let him know that this was really ridiculous on the whole ordeal. He first argue that there was no way we’ve been waiting a month and a half. *we’ve a contract at home that says otherwise.* He also argued as to why were having the conversation since my fiancé took his deposit back. *as we made an agreement to the sale manager we would pay the deposit in full. When the car arrived and was able to be test driven.* The cherry on top to this story is. A joint application was filed. However I never signed nor agree to this. As I was approved for a new car. Not only did they screw my fiancé they screwed me on the hard inquiries on my credit report. What a place!
My ford explorer steering was locked and I found out that it was a recall on my truck so I contacted koerner Ford and they told me to bring it in. I explained the first time when I called the service man I orginally spoke with was extremely unprofessional and upset me at the least. I called a day later and spoke with a man named john and I told him what happened...he reassured me that I would only have to deal with him after that point. He not only fixed the recalls, he fixed my muffler for free because when they removed it to fix the recall they made my muffler super loud and told me Id have to get it replaced for $1100.00. I ended up picking up my truck and it was super loud however my check engine light was off and everything else was fixed. John called me the next day and asked me to bring my truck back because another recall needed to be fixed and he was uncomfortable sending it back to me without fixing it. The next morning I brought it back so it could get fixed. Not only did they fix it but they fixed my muffler and washed my truck. It was done by 3pm that same day. I am beyond impressed. Thank you John and koerner Ford for making my day❤
I was traveling from MA to MI when I found my Ford Escape making a strange noise. I stopped for lunch and checked it out to find the splash shield disconnected and dragging under my car. I came in and Paul J helped to get me back on the road in 20 minutes. Nothing but praise for their efficient customer service!
Ben Raymond was referred to me by my nephew, who is very knowledgeable, having a past long term career as a Ford Mechanic. ( The best one ever)Ben is very customer oriented. The shopping experience was very friendly and he was clearly representing us for a fair deal. Koerner is well represented. We love our car. Love the incentives and zero % financing. Other dealers did not post all the incentives. Koerner did, which is why we went to them.
Read through every review on here and every other site I could find. I also did this for multiple other dealerships Found two reviews for a salesman named Tony F. so I went in and requested him. Had a good experience. A lot of the negative reviews I read I just dont understand. First, no one can make you do anything you do not want to do. Tony answered every question I asked and I came back multiple times, did research and took a couple test drives. I clearly explained what I was looking for and what I wanted even though I really wasnt 100% sure. If I wouldve felt pressured or rushed I probably wouldnt have bought anything. So I guess it also depends on the salesman you get (I was able to call Tony even at his house to ask him a few other questions) but a little bit of it depends on you too.Im sure a salesman factors largely into your experience. At another Ford dealership I felt like the person selling me the car had zero personable skills or experience. If Im about to spend 20-40K or even 5k on a car I want the person to be able to answer my questions and feel a little bit valued. Ive bought many cars from many different dealerships and most of the time everything went fine as long as what I stated above happened.
*update 10/23/19*After receiving a response from the owner I called and spoke with the Owner Tom directly. Now before I begin I will admit I am a piece of work and Tom an even my wife will agree. I very rarely pay full price for anything and I squeeze and push whatever buttons I can to save a nickel out of not just vehicles but everything. I have methods to my madness. Anywho...so I called and I was shocked to hear that the owner was even willing to talk to me. In my personal experiences owners very rarely interact with customers let alone admit to being the owner. Tom was not afraid to be firm and lay it out for me on what he was willing to do and not do and why. We got into a mild heated discussion about discounts and who/how they are applied and why I posted the 2 star review. A long story short is that I caved in my bargain tactics because its not every day the owner of a business comes out and refuses to do something because its too much or you have gone too far. It was something about his tone and assertiveness that told me Im getting a good deal like everyone else does and i cant get super special treatment. I told him I will take the vehicle and he took a down payment over the phone. I finish the paperwork and pick it up in a couple days after they finish getting it ready. I will update more after we take possession. The sales associate Tony Fricano was GREAT with me and most of all my 2yr old daughter. He was constantly talking to her interacting with her and even whipped out a coloring book for her to keep. He is personable and warm to talk to.
I have been using Koerner Ford for 6 years. They are very accommodating, knowledgeable and go out of their way to help. The service dept is beyond great. They are very courteous, attentive and really do an excellent job on the service work. I wish I could add more stars. Just great people to work with
Multiple employees not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly. One customer came up to the parts desk just holding a mask up to his face at first, but lowered it when he realized no one would enforce it even though “mask required” was posted in multiple locations.Service department did not reset my change oil light. Had to look that up on my own. Not a huge deal, but come on. When service was completed they parked my car in their lot with all the windows down. Good thing it didn’t rain or I had something stolen. Seriously, what is going on?
Nate Harris and Dave Allsop have both served us well. We have bought 3 vehicles from them in the past year. They do a great job at keeping us informed and doing their legwork. We had alot of questions when we were ordering trucks and they spent hours finding answers for us. There was a paperwork problem in our last deal and Nate took the time to come to us on his day off and get it straightened out even after we had closed the deal and taken the vehicle. The guys at the parts counter are great as well(Dan and Justin). We do all of our own service work are rely heavily on them to find what we need.
Today I drove out with the 4th Explorer I have purchased from Koerner Ford. All I can say is they are just the best. I have purchased many new cars, but never have I come across a dealership that treats you as well as does Koerner. Without getting to wordy - they are the best. I would not go anywhere else. Plus the service dept. is just outstanding. This is the only Ford Dealership to go to!!!!!!!!!!
If 0 stars was an option, I would without hesistation award it to this Ford dealership. I took my older model crown Vic in for a FORD ISSUED RECALL on 3/6. After checking out, I was told the part had to be ordered, which is completely understandable; I was to bring it back 3/8 to have the work done.Hours later and no call from the shop, I had to call to see if it was done and was rudely told that it’s been done, they left me a voicemail stating such. I had not received one missed call that day. This can all be overlooked, it’s really not a huge deal. Upon walking into the service office though, one Ford employee is on the phone very rudely explaining to a customer, as if customer service isn’t an established concept, that “yea, we can do it - as long it someone is paying for it”.I grab my keys and leave, upset with the nasty attitudes by those encountered but happy that the recall issue was fixed. UNTIL the car was taken on 3/14 to a different shop for what I thought was an unrelated problem. Turns out the problem I now have to pay between 400-500 dollars to repair is what should have been replaced via the recall issued by FORD.To say I’m dissatisfied is a disgusting over-simplification. I will never return to Koerner Ford and will actively and intensely persuade others from using any of the services they claim to offer.
Every time I have a concern about my vehicle my service advisor Bryan Gervais & the service manager Peter Nistico go above and beyond to help me and to make my service experience fabulous. I wouldnt go anywhere else. The technicians are well trained and Ive never had to come back . To sum up, best service team ever . See you again Koerner Ford
Fred was a great salesman for Ford! He understood our situation and made sure we got into a SUV quick and efficiently. With a baby due any day and dealing with recovering from a major car accident that totaled our Jeep just days before. He made the process of buying a car so much easier and less stressful. Our family who is now up one more person since we last seen Fred love our 2019 Ford Escape! Our little one made his great escape from the hospital in our new Escape!
I honestly feel that your experience depends on the sales person you get. Tony was the salesman that I worked with when purchasing the car (I think his last name started with an F). I ask too many questions and change my mind too many times. Tony dealt with all of this and I got (what I felt) was a great deal on a car. The car has been good and I will definitely be back. I was more than difficult and this tony guy treated me with respect the entire time. Ive gone through 100s of car dealership reviews and I really feel that most of the bad experiences come from people who are either lunatics or get a bad car salesmen.Im sure there are a couple actual bad experiences as well...Anyways, to avoid this I ask for Tony even when I need to bring my car in for service. You could very well deal with someone else and they might be just as nice but Im done taking that risk. As long as this guy works here Ill be going to him. Id rather wait until he is available than risk dealing with someone who makes me feel pressured or angry. Just do a little research and try to find a nice sales person with good reviews before going into any dealership (most of this info is readily available). For Koener ford this person has been Tony for me.
I have purchased four vehicles at Koerner Ford and I have all of my service performed at the dealership. Everyone at Koerner is great and Ive never had a bad experience there. Melissa Place and Dave Allsop (sales) are always very pleasant, helpful and easy to speak with. Getting an appointment for service is never a problem either. Joe Potocnak (service) assists me on a regular basis, getting me in and out for oil changes, inspections, etc.. He is great to work with. The staff is always busy there and you never see anyone just sitting around. I dont hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone. They sell great products and provide excellent service.
We just purchased a vehicle from this dealership and I found the experience to be acceptable. The dealership and salesman were willing to negotiate and the experience was as pleasant as a car buying experience can be. I would, and have already, recommend this dealership to friends/family. While I have not used Koerner for any service work, it appears the car buying experience is a much different experience and the rating is much lower than deserved.
Took a truck there to have some recalls done. Truck went in got fixed now there is a gash on a 400.00 tire. Of course they didnt do it sorry to say the tire was fine when it went into the shop not fine when it came out. We asked to see the camera footage to see what happened. They are refusing to let it be viewed. Well Better Business Bureau here we come along with any other agency that can be found.
It was an amazing experience as these guys really worked with me to get me out of a bad situation (in both loan and vehicle). Ive been driving my 2016 Ford Focus for 2 months now and it has been amazing! Best car Ive ever owned. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. There was no pressure from them during the sales experience. They detailed every aspect of what they offered and how it compared to my current vehicle situation. They wanted nothing but the best deal for me and as a consumer...its nice to know the company is looking out for ME.Their waiting room is spacious with comfy, leather seats and a big screen tv. Theres also vending machines and a coffee station.
128$ and 3 days without a vehicle to get a usb port changed, then when I received my vehicle panels were still apart inside and there was damage that wasnt there before, scratches in the interior panels and inside the passenger side door, even one of my rear senors , never taking my car there again
Buying my car was a lot more painful than I would have liked ... but I ended up with what I wanted for only slightly more than I wanted to pay.The service department, though, is outstanding (so far, of course LOL). They listen to my concerns and take good care of my car. They even told me to come in and have something looked at when it was pretty clear the problem was user error (it was ... but I didnt drive off feeling dumb, just better informed). They have automatically processed my rebates and so far, so good. They will be the reason I go back to this dealership.
I went into Koerner Ford the other day to look for a new car. Although I ultimately went with a different car from a different dealer, Tony and Dave were awesome! They were professional and really worked with me to try and find the right car. I will absolutely consider working with them on my next vehicle purchase.
I received a letter on the mail saying that my car got a recall, and I should take to the Ford leadership immediately to get the part replaced, and if they dont have the part they are going to provide me with a rental until the part get replaced. But instead the guy told me that the dont have the part and he wanted me to call him back in a month or so. And that s all he can do.
Great sales department, but the service department is awful.First time I took my car in, they stripped all of the lug nuts on all of the tires. Second time they overfilled my oil by about 1/2”, which I thankfully noticed very quickly. When I called them about it I didn’t even get an apology, just told to bring it back in, and they wouldn’t charge me to fix their mistake “unless there’s something else wrong with it...” Mind you, I called less than 24 hours after picking it up.Needless to say, I am NEVER bringing my car back there. And I drained the oil myself.
While I appreciate that they made miracles happen to get the price per month in my budget (after trying to jerk me around some though), Im most upset over the fact that in a complete downpour it was unnoticeable that the paint on the hood was starting to bubble like I noticed other flaws, and the other smaller flaws were taken care of, but because I signed before noticing (sure, my own fault maybe, but again in a pure down pouring) they wont take care of this. Spent a ridiculous amount of money with them, and they wont fix the hood, and the supposed cluelessness of the salesman who wouldve told me if he had noticed just erks me even more. I hate the games sales people play, dont lie and tell me no one noticed when you took the vehicle in, looked it over in your garage, then put it in the lot... Its extremely noticeable when its not being poured on, so treating me like Im the idiot and pretending to sympathize with me is just aggravating. Im so disappointed that I have to drive around with the hood in the condition its in. Definitely wont take the vehicle back for anything and wont buy from them again.UPDATE: The solution to the the bubbled, peeling paint on the hood is to have someone clean it up aka scuff it up and touch the paint up in the parking lot... Unbelievable. Lets make a problem worse. Thats not a proper paint job. And if this is what you do for other vehicles A) why was this not done to the vehicle before putting it on the lot for sale? and B) other customers should run. The hood is corroding and needs a proper paint job, Im beyond upset at managements rudeness (literally laughed at me over the phone) and unwillingness to satisfy an unsatisfied customer. Also, be careful, the salesmen will tell you anything they want to make the sale, but most of it is lies apparently. Forever done with Koerner Ford.
The service center is beyond awesome! I had a very very horrible situation at another ford dealership and ended up calling this one and they went above and beyond for me. Now fast forward a month or so and out of no where there was another incident with my car and I immediately called them and wow again I am amazed about how they took care of me right away. There is not enough good things to say about this place.
Great new car buying experience. Cheryl White was a great salesperson to deal with. She was knowledgeable about the Ford Explorer we were interested in. The buying process was swift and -painless with little dickering to get what I thought was a fair price. When buying a car the experience can very considerably depending on the sales representative even at the same dealer. I highly recommend dealing with Cheryl.
I purchased me explorer from Koerner in May of last year. They went out of their way to get me the best deal on my vehicle. They pride themselves on outstanding customer service and the provide it.Service department is dedicated to providing the same outstanding service and they do
I purchased two vehicles last year from them. If your going to go make sure you use Scott if not stay away and find another dealer. I was looking to purchase another vehicle and Ben got involved, he was your typical pushy doesnt want to listen to the buyer car salesman and came off extremely rude. Unfortunately he definitely helped ruin my good view of this place and permanently lost a customer on them.
Couldn’t even get through a phone call to setup a oil change. Needed everything but my dang dna sample to get my oil appointment. I “could” have recalls on my vehicle they said. I told them if I do I’ll get them later or we could figure it out at that time. If you are busy and need to just get a service go somewhere else. What jokes.
I can only speak for the parts department here but if those employees behavior is indicative of the entire operation, I have no hesitation to get service at or buy a vehicle from Koerner. Theyre always happy to look up and order whatever obscure parts Im looking for and will refer me elsewhere if someone nearby has it in stock. Great people
Brought my 2013 Ford F-350 diesel in with check engine light on I do have the extended warranty but didnt need it.... Dock the service writer confirmed the coolant sensor part was covered under the emissions.. they seem to attempt to work with customers and I was very happy with service...
I just wanted to say I was treated very well at Koerner. Ben was my salesman and he was a total pro. I came in to test drive the Focus RS which was down on another lot. Without hesitation he got up and out to the car in little to no time. He was polite and wanted to earn my business but was never pushy about it.I work in luxary sales and he was among the best to work with!GO SEE BEN at Koerner! Cheers!
I took my truck for brake service, the brakes were sticking. They told me it would be $600 for my brakes. I took it to another K&C Auto, it was $185. Safe to say that Koerner ford is a rip off. They tried selling me things I didnt need. My brakes were sticky due to not being lubed. Koerner told me my brakes and rotors were rusted, they were fine. Just another dealership trying to rip people off. Also when I was looking for a new truck, I went there to look at a ford ranger. They told me it was a southern truck first it was from PA, which is not southern. Second it had two owners, the first owner was from Canton, NY. The truck had a lot of rust on the frame. I could pick the rust and sand off the truck. They were asking way to much for what it was. Be careful when shopping at Koerner, id say dont even bother going there.
From the minute I walked in things were quick and simple. The delivery was a little rough but they worked with me and got me just about where I wanted to be for my payments without much hassle. I love my car and I would recommend Lenny for anyone looking for a car. I have not had it serviced yet hopefully it goes as smooth as everything else
My 23 year old son did the legwork for me in picking out candidates for a new vehicle to lease. Our first test of a dealership is how they treat a young man coming in on his own. Our salesman, Eric (apparently a rabid Rangers fan!), was very nice to him and attentive to his questions. He test drove a vehicle and called me. Eric and my son brought the car to my work so that I could look at it and test drive it. After some thought, I decided to lease the vehicle through them. I called Eric and told him what I was willing to pay. He called me back within a few minutes and within a couple of dollars of what I had proposed, so we made a deal. I went in the next morning and signed all the papers and picked up my new car. All in all, a very pleasant experience. THAT BEING SAID... I did have issue with the condition of the vehicle at delivery. Someone had obviously gotten in the car to back it into the delivery space with grease on their hands and their clothes. There were a couple of spots on the drivers seat, the door handle, the electric seat adjustment handle was covered with visible goo, and the passenger side headrest and side of the passenger seat all had grease spots on them. The upholstery is kinda a cross between butter and manila folder in color, so the spots were very obvious. To his credit, Eric tried to remove these as I stood there, but a brand new car should never be delivered to a new customer with visible spotting on the upholstery. Fortunately I was able to remove everything with a damp sponge and some Resolve Pet Stain spray. I was pretty annoyed, however, and this is the major reason I went with 3 stars. Customer service is everything, folks. I can get a new car anywhere... I agree with other reviewers that the dealership is old and dirty and really needs some rehab, however, everyone we encountered was very nice to us. I cannot comment on their service, as I have never used it and have my own mechanic.
Had a pretty solid experience hear. I followed the comment below mine about seeing the right person. I went in and requested Tony (actually I just waited until he was free and introduced myself). Anyways I wound up leasing a car here instead of at the dealership I normally go to. I gave it 4 stars because they were doing some renovating on the few days I was there and it was kind of loud. Also if you want to read more reviews about Koerner Ford your have to type in Koerner Ford of Syracuse Inc. For some reason if you type in Koerner ford it only shows a few comments.
Everthing I asked them to take care was done. I had to wait for my trucked to be serviced and really enjoyed there new customer lounge. It was comfortable, well lit, and had a great coffee maker. The wait time seemed to pass a lot faster this time. The only thing I have to complain about is;they didnt serve lunch after 12:00.
I bought a 2016 focus st and sent my mom there for her 2016 escape. They offer a referral fee but never paid it. My mom has texts where her salesman lies and promises to take care of the situation. Its been 4 months and they never delivered on their promise. Its not the money as much as their total lack of integrity. They lie through their teeth. My sister just bought a 2016 mustang gt, I sent her to burdick ford. They lost a deal over 100 bucks.
Stood at parts counter no less than 45 mins while the one gentleman working there re assured me he would get to whatever it was I needed between answering the phone and searching parts for whomever was on the other end. Then he finally had time to look up the truck part I needed for my 95 Ford f150 only to be informed Ford no longer made the part I needed. Sighhh...
Wish I could give them zero stars. Pushy when I bought my used 06 Escape, price was a bit high for what it was but I was in a tight spot and needed a reliable vehicle (Hah!). Upsold me on the Extra Care warranty, which would prove to be the only saving grace of this regrettable purchase.Ive had the car one year now and its been in the shop more times than I can count. First major break was the clutch - totally let go on me in the middle of an on-ramp, and I mean TOTALLY. Probably a leaking cylinder. Had to shell out to have it towed as the warranty only covers the first $100 of the tow. They fixed it for the copay but it took a week. THE DAY AFTER I PICK IT UP from the clutch job, the engine LITERALLY EXPLODES in the left lane of a busy section of Rt 81. Total loss of power, parts on the road, oil everywhere. Apparently it had shot a piston right through the roof of the block. Cant make a tow happen so I have it fixed in PA near where it broke down (Gibbons Ford of Dickson City, highly recommended!), and Im carless for another three weeks while Ford decides whether its even worth it to source a new engine.Meanwhile the people at Koerner arent even returning my calls regarding the loaner Im owed per the warranty, and Im walking to work. Their service manager Peter Nistico gave me a bunch of excuses when I showed up in person, apparently too busy for five days straight to make a phone call to Ford and sit on hold for a few minutes, and when I expressed frustration he argued with me with all of the professionalism of a dockworker. I eventually had to rent a vehicle myself (not cheap) and it took months and a consumer complaint through the Attorney General to get reimbursed.Other than that its just been an endless stream of little annoyances necessitating inconvenient shop time: rusted out shocks, loose door seals, oil and exhaust leaks etc. Did they even run a damp rag over this piece of crap when it was traded in? Ive since taken my business to other area dealerships, Im not sure which one Ill settle on but Im absolutely certain that if youre looking for Ford sales and service you cant do much worse than Koerner.
Went in for a test drive of a ford focus. The guy already started asking me about my personal information. He also already tried up-selling me within the first two minutes of the conversation, after I had already indicated Im not looking for a new car.He spent 5-8 minutes looking to see if the car was on the lot, then he came back and told me I have to go pick it up, ill be back in a few minutes. I waited 15 minutes and he wasnt back.Wont be coming back here. The salesman was pushy right from the jump, and was outright unprofessional at times.
Koerner ford is the best! They are always friendly and helpful, made the process of getting a new car quick, easy and stressless. No hard sell and was patient with your needs. I will always go back to Koerner. Thank you Scoot and all the people a Koenrer ford. Love my new car.
We purchased a 2014 F-150 Lariat that Dave Allsop not only helped us with our decision of what truck would work out best for us but then located the exact vehicle. He was incredibly easy to work with and very familiar with all of the different options and packages that we could choose from. Most importantly there was not back and forth haggling, Dave is a straight shooter and gave us a great deal right from the get go! We took delivery of the truck from Fred and he couldnt have been better in explaining all of different features and how to work them. I cannot imagine purchasing a Ford from any other place than Koerner Ford!Thank you!Jack and Katie Severance
Absolutely the worst sales experience Ive ever had. There was no explanation of the cars and I was told to read the manuals. They wouldnt let me test drive anything on the floor (there wasnt any of the car I wanted on the lot). The owner cursed me out because I wanted the automatic transmission option on the Fiesta, which is manual normally.
This place is not where you want to buy your car- because the dealership service is awful. Ford is a great brand and offer awesome maintenance deals and packages- but if you buy here- youre stuck using them here.THIS IS THE ONLY 3 HOUR OIL CHANGE IN THE WORLD.Once you purchase a vehicle from here they send you coupons in the mail. Good right? Wrong, because they wont honor them and will come up withe itty bitty rules that are not listed on the coupon or anywhere else as to why your maintenance is not free.Worlds worst family dealership, no place for kids in the showroom, or dirty waiting room for maintenance.Gets one star out of 5- because you cant give it 0 stars.
Ok, this will be a lengthy review, so please stay with me on this one, It all started in 2015 May, My GF and myself decided to purchase a vehicle at this establishment. We had a great time dealing with Brian, one of the sales reps that was recommended to us. He was laid back and let us experience the vehicle for ourselves and we didnt feel any pressure to buy. The finance department did their all to get my GF the financing and we were done in basically a day with pick up of the vehicle in a day or two. So, why the single star? THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!Now, when purchasing a vehicle, even though it was a used 2014 Ford Focus, we dished out 4 grand in cash initially, I EXPECT THE CAR TO BE DETAILED AND CLEANED WHEN I PICK IT UP. The car was filthy. The tires covered in grime and brake dust. The interior looked like someone took a slightly moist rag to wipe off the dust and that was it. All the other car buying experiences I had in Syracuse, when I bought a car, they CLEANED and POLISHED everything. Their service department got their first strike with us. We were in a rush to leave town, so I let it go.We reside in Brooklyn, NY. When we drove the car back to Brooklyn from Syracuse, the car ran ok. During our 3 month experience, we noticed something odd with the transmission and the brakes of the car. When we made it back to Syracuse to visit family and to have the car serviced for its first oil change, we told them of our problem. The grinding, scratching brakes were diagnosed as the car sitting too long in Syracuse winters and brakes dust. The transmission problem was because we werent stepping on the gas pedal right and that the transmission acts this way. BOTH ENDED UP AS LIES. Strike 2.Strike 3 was when we did our research and found out that our Ford Focus was cursed with the bad clutch assembly unit that was a manufacturers defect that Ford is quietly covering up. When we brought it back to them in November with BARELY any miles driven on the car, they diagnosed it finally correctly after we almost held a tirade at their facility. They also, AGAIN CLAIMED our brakes were due to dust and that is how brakes sound nowadays. They greased up some parts and sent us packing. They stated they could not get the warrantied part and told us to look for a dealership in Brooklyn to fix our problem. Which was another can of worms for another review.Strike 4, after cvalling many dealerships that claimed they were back-ordered with this part, I sourced social media and complained until a regional customer service rep got a hold of me around the end of February. I gave them my complaints. Koerner finally got us on the phone and told us the part needed was mysteriously ordered and we were asked to come back to fix it. We did so at the end of March beginning of April. When serviced, our car limped back to Syracuse with brakes so bad that you could hear us coming away for miles. They fixed the clutch problem but started coming up with so much BS about the brakes. We wanted them to understand that we were not blaming them, we wanted to know what was wrong and for it to be fixed and FOR SOMEONE TO ADMIT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT BRAKE DUST. We got the brakes fixed at the end-run. But the screwed us by fixing only the front. They rebuilt our calipers instead of replacing. Now our rear brakes are grinding. AVOID THIS HELL HOLE. If you are from Syracuse, I know Fucillo is shady and Burdick is like the Germans of WWII up there, but go there instead. They will screw you over a little less. With so many strikes towards their service department, I WILL NEVER RETURN FOR BUSINESS THERE. AVOID IF POSSIBLE.
Im a newly migrated in this city and want to share my experience to this company. first maintenance of my brand new ford expedition xlt and at the same time to fix the rear washer which is not working. after almost 2hrs of waiting from small room with my wife & my 2kids, one lady from service counter approached and telling me that service is done & they fixed the rear washer, BUT the thing is the interior trim panel where they peel off to fix the rear washer is BROKEN because of the INCOMPETENT technician! as advised they will call me after a week to replace that parts. well, 10days after i didnt received any call from them so i called them back. i talked a lady from service counter told me that parts still not available & asked me to call back again next week. so after a week i called again a man told me to bring my car anytime. so i brought my car the following day before my work but unfortunately they can not fix it that day because they are saying that due to power off! so in short they asked me again to come back some other day. since Im really busy to my work i able to brought back my car after a week. prior on that i spoken to Mr. Pete that parts is available and they gonna fix it on that day. so i drove 20miles from my house to Koerner Ford and hoping this is my last visit to them. when i arrived that place and spoken again to that lady from service counter & telling me that parts is not yet available! im very DISAPPOINTED to this company! i insisted that parts is available because i already talk to someone. and that poor lady asked her coworkers until they found out that part is already there. so no apology has been done and they allow me again to wait in the small waiting room. after half an hour a man came to me saying that they can not fix it again that day because the parts color didnt matched! this is really RUBBISH service & the WORSE car dealer company ive ever seen in my life! i have no idea why they are keeping these kind of employees where no satisfaction given to the costumers. after 6week, finally they fixed BUT Im NOT SATISFIED because it did not matched from the original parts. its my biggest regret to choose this Koerner Ford of Syracuse Inc. i hope the owner of this company will do something for the improvement of their service.
By far the worst customer experience I have ever received anywhere. They have had my car for 6 weeks for a minor warranty issue and they still havent done anything with it. I call and they have no idea what I am talking about and never return my calls when they say they will. When I stop by, which I have had to multiple times they are extremely rude and arrogant. Never buy a car here, you will regret it!
If I could give this negative stars I would. Have had one of our fleet vehicles there for over three weeks and they are still waiting on one part. The truck has only 300 miles on it. Have had the problem since we got it at 63 miles. Horrible customer service, the people in service that Ive spoken to have been considerably rude over the phone.
I,submitted the following information on the FORD survey:Joe Potocnak has been taking care of my 08 Escape since 09 & always gets me an appointment fast & takes great care of me. Al Perry does the best detail, gives me a ride if I need it & ALWAYS has a smile on his face. Joe referred me Cheryl White to discuss a new car. She is very well informed, made me feel at home, put me in the right vehicle immediately & answered ALL my quirky inquiries.GREAT TEAM!The team members Ive worked with, Cheryl White-sales, Joe Potocnak-service, Allyn Perry-detailer, are the best! They are the friendliest bunch Ive every had the pleasure to work with. They make me feel right at home, answer all my questions and take great care of me. Koerner is extremely lucky to have this group of people on their team. If it werent for them, I might not be driving a new car.Cheryl White is very well informed. She showed me what I need to know to get started and feel comfortable driving off in my new car. She made it clear that I could come back ANYTIME to get more lessons on the intricacies of the SYNC/NAV system. She is so friendly and easy going, I feel like Ive known her for years. GREAT EXPERIENCE!I cant think of anything I would change about the sales process. I had an appointment in the morning for an oil change, inspection & detail on my 08 & drove out in the afternoon with a new car. Cheryl White made the sales process fast, easy & uncomplicated. The only improvement I would recommend is sprucing up the physical appearance of the showroom, the service area & expecially the service waiting areaSincerely,Sandi C.
I will never go back to this place again. Absolute horrible service. I spent 5 hours there when buying my truck and the only time I spent time with my salesman was to sign the papers. Eric was absolutly horrible. I was told that I had to buy a warrenty for my vehicle or else the finance company wouldnt do the deal, and after I called the company they said they would never do that. Before I even took delivery on the truck the abs and emergent brake lights came on. They said they would fix it. So I told Eric to set uo a date and time and I would be down. (Mind you I live an hour away). Eric says it will only take a couple hours. I get there service had no idea what was going on had no clue I was going down there, had no idea that they were covering the cost of it, and told me it wouLdnt be done for a couple days. Absolutely horrible place and I do not recommend to anyone and will not refer anyone there. Biggest mistake I ever made was to go there and buy!!!
I would highly recommend this dealership. Not only did I feel I received the fairest deal, I find it hard to find a dealer that cares as much after the sale as they do conducting one. Taking care of my investment is as important as buying it. I cannot remember the last time I have had a call back from a manager and sales pro asking if everything is OK and to call them personally if I need anything in the way of warranty, service, or if im dissatisfied in any way.
Took my truck in for a simple usb replacement and after 3 days I got the truck back with panels still apart inside and damage that wasnt there before, scratches in the paint inside the door, scratches in some interior panels, and panels that wont line up, even a damaged rear parking sensor, do not do business with them, my truck was in mint condition before them.
Straight up LIED to my girlfriends face about the recommended maintenance service schedule just to make some extra money. Even after she told them no multiple times the service advisor kept pushing and pushing and wouldnt leave her alone until she gave in and did what they wanted. Absolutely terrible. Will NEVER go back here again.
I have two cars that I regularly bring to Koerner for service and maintenance. I rely on Joe to take care of regular maintenance on the Escape and with my truck some not so regular maintenance. Joe has never failed to correct the problem first time. I have tried many service centers, Joe and Koerner rock!!!!!! Their number 1 in my book.
Called to see if a vehicle was in to test drive. Salesperson said it was, so I came in the same day. When I got there she seemed annoyed that she had to get up and find the car. After waiting several minutes she came back and said that it sold yesterday! Thanks for wasting my time. Old, dingy dealership with poor customer service.
On the phone they tell me they take Ford 550, a specific model of truck, so I scheduled a service for the truck on a date three weeks later. Three weeks later, I drive hours down there to get my truck in and suddenly on the spot they tell me they take Ford 450, but not 550s. Had to leave with no service, and I re checked with them 3 times on the phone just to make sure I wouldnt make a useless trip.
Wow, I forgot how bad some car dealers are. The dealership itself is kind of dirty and run-down. You get the vibe that everybody in back is joking about how they are going to get this sucker to pay more. The sales technique was textbook, half-assed attempt to build a rapport followed by a low ball trade in offer and a series of scenarios (not asked for) designed to confuse what I would actually be paying for the vehicle (various rates, terms & incentives). All the while the sales guy parroting only $300 above invoice (like this means anything). Think about it the “MSRP” is a number published by the manufacturer and the dealer association that means nothing because they publish another number, “the dealer invoice”. It’s just another number, (that does not mean anything) that they want to sell the car for. It in no way resembles the cost of the vehicle to the dealer.
Purchase was easy service department not so much problems with my Ford Focus since I bought it every time I have an issue they give me attitude and a hard time last time they installed a battery did a checklist my brakes were at 8 within a month I heard a sound called for service couldn’t get car in and my brakes failed the garage I took it to said I had 0 (zero) brake
My Fiancé and I’s experience was horrible staff was rude and wasn’t very interested in selling. I called and they wouldn’t answer us as to whether or not to come down at that time of the day. When I got there the employees were all conversing by a podium one sales guy named Brian helped us. He was rude and not interested in even going out on the lot just fished through some papers and said they had nothing to help us with what we were looking for. Biggest waste of time so if looking for a truck don’t look here!
My experience with Koerner Ford was terriable. The salesman was right out the door and on us so fast.He was definitely a scammer at the lest.Never left our side so we could look at what we wanted to.He kept pushing us and pushing us so he could make that deal.Found a Ford Escape we really did like now here comes the paper work between the salesman and ourselves. While going through the paperwork he said to us oh we have a wonderful warranty thats the best. Now while finishing up paperwork my husband and I looked it over and we signed to buy this SUV.We got home and I was looking through some of the paperwork and noticed in very I mean very light light lettering that you almost could not make out what it said. This warranty that he said was so wonderful and great ended up costing us $2,499 so not once did he tell us it cost anything let alone how much it cost.A real salesman would of been upfront and honest and told us about the warranty and how much it cost.I also know that they did not inspect are vechile at all they just put a inspection sticker on it and said here you go.The reason I am saying it was not inspected is because when we got the vechile home my husband just happened to walk all the way around the vechile and notice that there were some lights not working. If Im correct during an inspection all lights should be checked to see if they are all working properly so in my case some were not working.I called Koerner Ford and let them know the situation about some of the lights not working properly of course they said bring it in the next day so we did. While we were there I asked to speak to a manager and I told the manager that there was know way my vechile was inspected at all due to some of the lights not working.I made a big complaint and I told them that I was going to make sure this all got around by word of mouth from person to the other to never due business with Koerner Ford on West Genesee Street in Syracuse NY.So I will end off with there are some shady people that work there and there service department should be watched closely on all inspections.Oh I forgot one more thing there finance department screwed up all our paperwork and had documents going to a wrong address.Never do busy with Koerner Ford. They totally lost our busy and many more.
They tryed to rip me and my husband off .Watch your trade and offer price they offered 7 year old f150 for 16,500 and offered me a thousand on my trade then raised the price of the car and 17,500 to get my trade for nothing and pay a thousand more . Im reporting to BBB

2022-01-13Bought my last few vehicles from here, but never again. Service told me I needed a new transmission, but I decided Id rather buy a brand new vehicle instead, and asked Doc to hook me up with a salesman. He said hed have Fred from Sales give me a call, since I needed to buy a car THAT day. Waited around all day, and no one called me back. It would have been an easy sale, so I guess they dont need my business anymore. Which is fine because I went over to Davidson Ford where they took great care of me and got me into a brand new Escape , hassle-free!

2022-02-09Professional and friendly office staff!I think service needs some training.I couldnt get back into my vehicle through the drivers side door because of the way it was parked. I had to enter through passenger side...This didnt stop the ford service tech from getting out of the drivers side by pushing my door into the other parked vehicle waiting for service. Also, it takes 5 minutes to change a inspection sticker. You ripped my registration and didnt remove the adhesive from the previous sticker. Then placed the new inspection sticker on my reg? Thanks for having me look at this for the next year! These small details really make me question the $300.00 I just gave you for service. Hoping the best for no issues

2022-04-22Worst vehicle buying experience. Went in to order a new F-150. Told the Salesman I wanted the package that allowed me to pull 14,000 lbs. I signed the paperwork. I emailed over and over making sure I got that package. I was assured that it did. Four months later the truck is built. I look at the technical specs. It can tow 11,000 lbs. I asked why it pulled so little. Well, after a bit he finally admitted he didnt add the package. I talked to the Sales manager and what I get was, Well, you signed for it. So, I am expected to know more about the Ford product then a person that sells them? I did get an apology that meant nothing due to how I was treated. So, I will try my best to keep people away from there. Anyone ever want to see the email exchange, I can send it to you. It is pretty bad how they turned it around on me.

2022-02-23As others have stated you should beware of purchasing a vehicle from this place as their service department is an absolute joke. I have had my truck serviced here several times and have experience the rudeness, complete lack of patience, and just overall arrogance of their main service guy doc. Continued to go there out of convienence of working down the street but I refuse to walk in that place again after my latest experience. I highly encourage anyone looking to purchase a Ford to go to one of the other local dealers where you wont have to deal with the headaches of getting your vehicle serviced at koerner.

2021-08-14Ive purchased three vehicles from Koerner Ford in Syracuse. As a real estate agent I am critical when it comes to sales people like most are. They are never pushy and always work with you. The follow up is great and the office staff is the best. If you are looking to our base a Ford in Central New York I highly reccomend koerner.

2022-02-14By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. Terrible customer service and they tried to give me half of what my truck is worth on a trade in. It took 2 and a half hours just to have them give me a quote on how much my vehicle would be worth and tried to take advantage of me by offering 10k under blue book value. Save your time and money and go anywhere else.

2022-06-16This is the worst location of Ford company at all time, the service section is so lazy and they just walk around make themselves look busy, basically they don’t want to earn their paycheck. Today is the third day when I dropped off my vehicle and they haven’t touch my vehicle. Each time I call they keep saying WE HAVE SHORT IN STAFF/ staff member have family emergency and other bad look excuses for Ford company. I will sell my Ford as soon as possible and I will never deal with Ford anymore.

2021-11-20The employees at Koerner Ford are very pleasant to talk with and the perks of being a Ford owner definitely out shine any other dealerships that Ive seen. Great warranty deals, great repair, sales and financial employees! Ford is built tough and thats the truth!

2020-07-22Me and my wife were looking for a lightly used Toyota Rav4. We stopped by many dealers in Central NY to check the cars, but dealers were absolutely uninterested in selling a car. But things changed when we stopped at Koerner Ford. Right away young man Josh came to us and asked if he can help. He showed us the car, invited us to the office to discuss price, etc. It was absolutely incredible experience compare to what weve seen from other dealers. He was absolutely professional and interested in selling RAV4 to us. We were able to negotiate the price and were able to reach the price point we were happy with. It was the easiest and best car buying experience. Josh, if you read it, we wanted to say huge thank you to you for your great work. I know its tough to sell cars nowadays, but know this: out of all dealers (like 5-7) around Utica and Syracuse you were the one who was really helpful and eager to work with us. The rest were just sitting doing nothing in front of computer or just chilling when we enter the building. And you were the one who was interested. And you did it the perfect way. We are your happy customers. Keep up the great work! Josh was also able to pick us up 10 miles away from dealership to finish all paperwork. To all other dealers: dont judge people by appearance, they might have lump sum in their hands to just buy the car cause they need it. Talk to customers the way Josh did and youll get peoples attention. Long story short: Josh, you are the best! You did it right! Again, thank you very much for great experience and great car! Were super happy with it
