Great clearance section and really large store. Lots of hand sanitizer stations thru-our. Check out lines are usually a bit long but they move quickly. You can return amazon packages in the basement level. They could use a better home/houseware section though. It was a bit bare.
This is the kohls I usually come too. Sometimes I go to the one on central avenue in Yonkers but this one is a lot easier to get in to and out off. I honestly feel like this kohls store is cleaner and has a better stock than other ones. The best time to come here is right before and right after Christmas because the discounts you can get are ridiculous. I got a $180.00 Dockers jacket for $62 after all the discounts and coupons that they gave me.
I shop here often because its close by. The store has been dirty the last few times and the staff very unpleasant to work with. I asked for help finding items and got “ somewhere over there “ and then they were having issues redeeming my kohls coupon and she told me” you just are going to have to miss out”. The worse was the last visit. I went to grab a sweatshirt in a different size and the backing to a security tag was missing the cover. The pin stabbed me and caused me to bleed. I asked for a bandaid and some assistance and i got a long size and he just walked-away. He came back with a bandaid , just grab the sweatshirt that stabbed me and threw it on the register. He didn’t apologize or ask if i was okay. I asked for trash to through the band aid away he sid i dont know and i ended up just shoving it in my purse. I think i will probably just stick to online shopping
I called the Port Chester location first to make sure they carried the Bras I had purchased from this store a year ago. The person who answered the phone I had a hard time communicating with but after being on hold, back to this person, back on hold, I was told they did in fact have my Size and Brand. I then drove to the Store and there was no help. I looked around and the Brand and size were no where to be found. I was not happy. I did not need anything else so drove back home dissapointed. Please be honest if you cant find what is requested. By time we were able to communicate clearly, I was looking forward to check that off my list. Be aware, information you call about, even if its on their Website may not be in that store.
The fact that they havent adjusted any hours back to normal is absurd. They used to open nice and early so you can get things done. Especially on weekends. They changed the hours to 10am, every single day and its been that way since lockdown back in April 2020?Super inconvenient
Considering our new normal due to covid, thismay not seem that important. However, I visited kohl’s the evening of 11/20 to return an Amazon package.I have to say the staff I encountered were less than pleasant. I asked a young lady for a price check on Lorac makeup products and clearly I was bothering her by asking. Passed a couple of other associates, not one asked if I needed help with anything. It’s like they pretend not to see you.The front of store manager yelling out “that they were closing on time tonight no matter what”. Also yelling to the staff something about meeting their quotas.Customer Service is definitely lacking at this location.I headed over to Old Navy and encountered a much more pleasant shopping experience.
*Kohls wont let me publish this on their site so doing it here!!!Whatever you do- dont take the elevator!!!I visited the Port Chester NY store yesterday with my infant who was in a stroller. This store has their childrens sections and returns desk in the basement, so I had to take an elevator down. When the elevator got to the basement it took WAY too long for the doors to open, I started to panic- the elevator is so old, dark, and scary! I feared my baby and I were locked inside. After waiting forever to make my return, I had to go back upstairs, again had to take that awful elevator because I had the stroller. I went over to the elevator and was joined by another woman with a baby in a stroller. The elevator was obviously not working, the door was not opening and the light to the button kept turning off. I was trying to figure out how to get my baby, the stroller, and the stuff I was buying up the stairs with no help. A nice employee offered to let us go on the freight elevator, which was incredibly scary to say the least. My baby was crying hysterically, as was the other baby. It was awful. Just awful. I was sweating and upset and so was the other mother. And so were both the babies!! I do not understand why the childrens sections are downstairs like this. A lot of people who go to those sections have babies and need to take the elevator. An elevator which is never properly maintained. Every time I go there I feel like Im risking my life going inside that scary, dark elevator. I never want to go back to this store. I cant. I wont take anymore chances like this. I almost got stuck going down and then had to crowd around garbage and boxes in a freight elevator while my poor baby screamed. And I want to know... If the elevator was known to be broken, why werent people told? Why was the manager not locating the people with strollers and carts who could not easily take the stairs? I find that unacceptable. This store is very poorly run and I will never go back. This was my go-to Kohls. Not anymore. Im done.
Delightful and very happy of two levels of floors. My mom was with me and very satisfied with employees as well. First time I visit and look forward to return very soon. Thank You for great pleasant store Thank you for the addition discounts. It was a reason to purchase and not allowed discount not to be used. Blessings
This place is no longer the Kohls you used to know, this is now become Macys. No discounts other than clearance racks. The place was immaculate with very nice options. Not at all what i was expecting, but was pleasantly surprised to have a high end department store now in my neighborhood.
I like the selection of items in every category your looking for; very good place to catch discounts on jewelry, sports clothing and bras.So far this Kohls is the most organized and clean in the area, the workers are super friendly and dont mind giving you a hand in your shopping experience.I recommend this location over most of the other locations in this area.
I was with a friend that was shopping and when we left the store, a man outside (presumably an undercover officer) stopped my friend and asked her to come back inside with her bag. I was told that I couldnt go in with my friend as they were ushered into a side room; I went back into the store anyway unless I’ve been trespassed, which I wasn’t and there are cameras all around to store to prove I wasn’t trespassed. The alleged officer came back out to ask me questions which I refused to answer, invoking my Fifth Amendment right for the simple fact of why would I randomly answer questions for someone that was 1) rude 2) overly-aggressive, which is an intimidation tactic; fail. 3) most importantly, DIDN’T IDENTIFY THEMSELVES. Needless to say, the alleged officer did NOT like this for the simple fact that I didnt give him or verify any information for him. That alleged officer needs to learn the actual law and not make up law on the spot which he tried to do with me and failed miserably. When educating him on the law he became agitated, dismissive and passive aggressive (which is a telltale sign that the alleged officer didnt know what he was talking about and embarrassed that he got schooled). My friend did not know better and played into their game. My friend was officially banned from the store as they accused her of stealing an item that she ALREADY PURCHASED FROM THE STORE as they verbatim said We saw her in the dressing room and found an empty box with the item she purchased. Doesnt make sense, does it? Exactly my point; they lied to save face. What’s most disturbing about this encounter was the statement “We saw her in the dressing room..” ARE THERE CAMERAS IN THE DRESSING ROOM WATCHING PATRONS? This they would not elaborate on, so we have no other reason to think not. However, that is illegal since cameras are not allowed in dressing rooms and bathrooms in the state of New York. If the cameras were close by, then that’s fine they could’ve just verified that, but to not answer and be dismissive about it leads to the assumption of the aforementioned (that there are cameras in the dressing rooms).Its no wonder why most people tend to shop online nowadays rather than coming to a store like Kohls. Who wants to be followed around a store and treated like a thief while youre shopping? Shopping while any color other than white at this location could be a danger to ones life. STOP RACIALLY PROFILING PATRONS AND MAKING UP STORIES TO COMPENSATE FOR THE WORK YOUR NOT DOING IN THE STORE. This store and now the chain we cannot and will not support and encourage others to do the same until they stop racially profiling and implement change that we can actually see, rather than talking about it.
No seating for senior citizens downstairs by the sneakers & shoes section. And to make matters worse, only after 30 minutes, all the while awaiting for two customer floor representatives, one being deaf, did I then find them myself. How do you put one sneaker 👟 Nike promo for $50 as a display when you first walk inside the retail store on your left, but no one knows anything?!!!
I went there to buy 2 pants for work and I found 1 my size on clearance that I needed for $15 luckily (orig price $50 -$60), but unfortunately I had to get the other from the Dockers section at original price ($60). Im at the register and the cashier asked me do you have a coupon and I said no. She rings me up and my bill came out to over $80. So Sakina, that was her name, told me to go online w/ my phone and get the 20% discount code. She was very friendly, and helpful & she saved me $15.40 for a total of $50.40 in savings
There isn’t much competition around here for Kohl’s, except for the Galleria Mall in White Plains – which isn’t a pleasant experience. I have never been a fan of Kohl’s style, but they have a pretty good selection of clothes. There are two floors, with the electronics and home goods on the lower level. The checkout process is always fast and they are very organized, but there aren’t enough employees walking the store to help you if you need something.
Very crowded during a sale. But otherwise value for money on most things. Great Kohls Cash deals. Currently $15 Kohls Cash for every $50 spent. You can use this as payment for future purchase. The lines although longer, tends to revolve pretty fast and they have multiple cashiers during most parts of the day.
Tons of parking but not as well merchandised as their Norwalk CT store. In a large outdoor stripp mall area ... lots of shopping. Very busy area around the holidays. Bumper to bumper traffic on Post Road. Do NOT give them your email unless you want of emails !!@ D Directed the emails to my SPAM foldet.
I love Kohls for the deals and usually find nice things for a true bargain!!! I bought a fall dress Ralph Lauren original price $110 for $11.00 need I say more? Juicy Courure blouses for $7.80 need I say more. Very Wang pajama set $59.00 for $17.80 just have to look thru the clearance racks! And then $5 off for every $25 spent! Need I say more?
I like Kohls, though sometimes seems like they Jack up their prices so their sales look better. Amazon made it really easy to do returns at kohls. However, now the lines get RIDICULOUS between actual kohls returns and now Amazon returns. Last I heard Amazon makes you return to Kohls so it was easy and fast to return at kohls, now you are forced to wait on lines. Besides that kohls has a variety of clothing, household items and electric.
Horrible place to work.... worst environment.... mad people most of them.. starting with the manager bad way to speak to the employees. Make me feel embarrassed in front of the costumers so before he take any revenge of me.. I quit. To much pressing.. not the only one feeling like that but, people stay because need the money.. i wont come back to this place in fact i dont want to know anything about kohls charge card.. really bad experience. 😬😬😬😢😢😢😢😖😖😖😳😳😳😳😳😳
The customer service just isnt there. There are far too many employees just standing around and pretending they dont speak English. The very few that do speak English are not familiar with all the departments. The store is unorganized, they dont know where to find anything. This is just not for me, Ill never go back.

2022-04-08If you shop here youll find lots of good clothing but I found that all the things I wanted were not in my size or were out of stock. My size is medium in shirts and 33 waist in pants.There were a few things I wanted that were not in the place where they were supposed to be; Either I found them nearby or asked the Stock employee if they had more and they checked the stockroom and found it.Its not the fault of the store employees that things are out of place; its the fault of some of the people that shop there.I cant count how many times I picked up something from the floor that someone dropped while searching in a rack of clothes and put it in its place.I witnessed it myself. This woman dropped something and made like it never happened and just kept walking by.

2022-05-03The manager on duty was NASTY!! I got 2 things and they were $70 each, I used a $5 kohls cash from an Amazon return and asked if they can honor the 20% off online and she gave me such attitude! Just tell me no if you can’t do it! Never should deal with nastiness like that!!

2022-06-20I went back to Kohls this afternoon to find out if I could get a discount on something I did buy on clearance, yet it still a ripped hole in the front of the top of the p.j.s I bought last week. I hadnt seen it when Id bought it, until I got it home. The man in customer service was very helpful, yet we had a hard time just finding the customer service desk,and we were in a hurry to catch a ride with Paratransit on time. I stopped and saw a young man in the shoe dept to ask for help find where to go. I said excuse me to him a few times. He never looked at me, and INSTEAD OF ASSUMING THAT HE WAS BEING RUDE TO ME, I thought..perhaps he cant hear me. Well I was correct...so I waved my hand gently to catch his attention. He looked up surprised and having a history myself of teaching young children and working with adults who were deaf, I just signed to him and asked him if he was deaf. I didnt assume that he was being rude or indifferent. He was really concentrating on what he was doing. He looked surprised and signed yes. So I just started to use ASL to ask for help and he was very helpful and pleasant. I dont know his name but I was just very impressed with him and his reaction to me,as he then showed me where to go! Its very heartening to see that you hire without the stigma against all different types of disability or just because someone is different. Were all unique in our own way and we all have something to bring to the plate if were dedicated to our jobs in whatever our job is. Please thank him for me. Good going, Kohls!!!🤟❣️

2022-01-31Mixed review, I was only at Kohls for an Amazon return. Its not clear when entering the store where to go. The employee who explained where to go was helpful and friendly.The escalator to get to the lower floor sounded and felt like its on its last leg. The actual Amazon return process was efficient plus I got a $5 off coupon.

2021-12-31I usually Love Kohls but I went today and was disappointed at the changes they made in the store. (Port Chester). Saforia has taken over the fine jewelry area... its the first hugh thing you see walking in! Then they have divided clothing areas to look high end. The store is no longer comfortable to shop. I had a hard time finding something to buy with my Kohls cash!!
