Amazing corner asian store for all your staples, cravings, and trendy adventures. They have a very nicely curated selection and I don’t find that they mark up the price too much compared to going to flushing or Chinatown. I find myself in here at least once a week. Staff is friendly and the store is clean. Love it and such a great addition to LIC!
Great little Japanese market in the neighborhood. It seems like they are still setting up the shelves since they are newly opened. Once its fully stocked Im sure it will be glorious. They also have Japanese sheet masks, skincare and makeup - which is absolutely amazing. Will be returning often!
This place is a hidden gem! I am so happy to of found it. They have a great variety of Japanese and Asian products. The prices are a lot cheaper than other places Ive shopped at. If you are in need of Japanese products this is the place to go. The owners are so nice, friendly and out going. I really hope they stay around and will continue to support their small business. Still in shock that I have a Japanese market two blocks from my house.
Finally an Asian market in LIC. Great selection of Asian snacks and household goods here. In additional to the staples youll commonly find in Asian supermarkets, the owners hand picked many of the more unique snacks based of their time in Asia. Get yourself some munchies and pick up that hard-to-find Japanese face wash your girl always wanted ;).Prices are great, staff is awesome.Koufuku means happiness in Japanese, cute.
Finally a great Asian market just opened in LIC! Ownership is Taiwanese and they have extensive experience living in Japan so they know top Japanese products very well but can also cater to the needs of Chinese families in the neighborhood. Japanese snacks, beauty and bath, over the counter medicines, cooking supplies and plushie/baby toys are all available with much better selection than Dainobu . They don’t yet have fresh meats for hot pot but told me they will be adding them to the selection once they receive their refrigerators.

2022-05-28The owners were so so nice! Everything is neatly organized and they have some stuff none of the bigger japanese markets have. They dont stock fresh foods like meat or veggies but they definitely have a repeat customer in me!

2022-06-13The cashier was extremely cold and unfriendly!!! Didn’t feel welcomed at all. She didn’t speak one word to me from the moment I stepped into the store. I said thank you to her after I finished paying. Still she didn’t even care to look or say one word back to me even though she had no any other customer in the store at that time. Very unpleasant shopping experience!!! Definitely I’m not going back and would not recommend this shop to anyone who want to be treated normally as a customer.

2022-03-28Fair amount of snack, pantry, and home-goods items available at this location.Called a few Asian grocery stores ahead of time for a particular product: Three Crabs Brand Fish Sauce, and Koufuku Market just got their first shipment that morning.I am so happy to no longer commute far for hard-to-find kitchen staples.

2018-12-04New Asian market in the area, looks like they carry a variety of goods, hair / skin care products, and more importantly a variety of Chinese cooking sauces ! No more trips to Flushing. They plan on carrying fresh produce soon as well, great addition to the neighborhood

2021-12-22I bought the chocolates on sale, but... were these even be allowed to be sold, considering the quality? Every single bag (so far) is melted to the point you cant even see the letter kitkat and so crubmly... see the photo...

2022-07-01First time i went there and i felt very unwelcome. Cashier looked like she didn’t want to do anything. Thanked her and she said nothing the whole time. This was a while ago but it made me never want to go back

2019-10-29Little bit more expensive than stores in Chinatown, but for being the only store in the area they’re quite fair. The shop itself small, but has variety of goods (home goods, groceries, condiments, souvenirs, etc)
