All these complaints are being little biaches about little details, the bottom line is theres no better Korean fried chicken nor Bosam in the area. Kyochon is a chain-store and mad small and expensive. This place beats it by far, the owner is super nice, very attentive (aint korean) and I love their blood sausages as well. Seriously, rate the food people, stop being such friking babies...oh no, I dont like their side dishes wahh or it was a late and they were not serving me, wahhh grow some hairy ones.
Its still delicious.. But why is the quantity so small..I ordered a large ruler, but the old medium size... there is no lettuce...Of course, it is understandable that prices are rising these days.If there are three people, one person is not enough. Everyone is having a hard time.. Cheer up.. The taste is still there!!
At around 5:30 PM, I placed an order for pork feet over the phone.I asked what the size was, and I ordered a medium, and the person working said it would take 20 minutes, so I said yes and hung up. We talked for about 30 seconds like that, and 20 minutes later I went to pick it up.The young-looking employee asked for the last digit of the phone number, and he replied that he had not received any orders. When I checked my phone to see if I had called somewhere else, I properly called Kono Chicken and there was a 26-second call record. The voice of the person I spoke to and the voice of a female employee are the same, and there is a 26-second call record, but they keep saying that they have not received any orders (I think I forgot something up to this point. I thought it might be. Because anyone can make a mistake…)So I ordered the pigs feet again, waited longer at the store, got the food, and when I came home, I took out the food, and only my daughter and the pigs feet were put in. When I saw that lettuce, ssamjang, salted shrimp, and radish were not added, I was annoyed.
Is it corona? Although the price has gone up, other stores have also gone up. However, besides, the service is friendly and the taste of the chicken is good. The skin is particularly crispy, so it feels good. It was a little bit dark because the skin of the pigs feet was a bit dark, but the taste was good. It was soft, so it was fresh and had a lot of quantity. I would be grateful if I could update the prices on the Internet quickly and put more of the shrimp milk and ssamjang in the pork feet.
Dont do it in Kono in summer!!Its a place that I ate very well, so I regret it.I do the same thing twice in the summer, so I dont do it anymore.I think you know because I called and talked right away both times.Last summer, garlic was so bad that I came here. It was summer, so when I delivered it by car, I was told that something like that would have happened.Lately, lettuce has all white cotton-like molds in it.Its good to wash and prepare in advance, but if you dont store it at room temperature other than in a refrigerator, this would not happen... I called and talked this timeThere is only a saying, Oh, really? Im sorry... It seemed like it wouldnt be fixed again. The more it is in the summer, the more carefully you have to pay attention. The mold on the lettuce was really shocking.I really like bossam, so its a pity that I ordered it often.
The ordered trotter was cold and asked me to change it to a warm one, but the warm trotter was sold out and there was only one cold trotter left. I went back with a disgusting feeling, but it was the same. I was sorry for the attitude of a female student and a manager who didnt say sorry.
I use my paws or bossam. I liked the quality in the early days. Its been several days, is not it? If I let you do it early, I think itll cost me yesterday. I have been eating for about an hour, but my foot meat is dry, and Bossam is meat 1: scarcely 9 times worse quality is getting worse.

2022-04-03Anyone who gave this a 1 star review is a certified hater. With no due respect, hop off.KONO chicken SLAPS! Arguably the best Korean fried chicken in the 5 boroughs. Id put their fried chicken pound for pound against anyone. Bet money on it. From the crunch to the sauce, they are about that LIFE!Im fair though. Kono could step up its napkin game. If you eat their chicken, it is advised to bring your own napkins.

2022-08-15I do like their jokbal. It has more fat pats, greasier while other places tend to have more lean meats. But there is reason that they are only 3.5 stars both in google review and yelp. And of course, its their attitude, especially the way they answer calls. Even considering its Korean restaurants, where bad service is kinda expected, its lot worse than other restaurants. Fine, but not anymore.I called Kono Chicken at 7pm yesterday and I know they get extra annoying when its close to their closing time, 8pm so I gently asked them if they still take an order, then she just hung up on me. I called them again and she didnt pick up the phone. All she had to say was they ran out of food or they were not taking any orders. But she just hung up without a word. Okay. There is a point where you just cant take bad services that it ruins good foods (even though they only take pick up orders, amazaing).

2022-07-24Five stars to One star. Recently, something is going on at this spot. They dont open in open hours, many times they did not pick up phone calls during the biz hours. Finally, I went there, and there was a guy who seems not appreciate my business at all. Too bad.

2022-01-23Used to order jokbal from this place frequently but the quality is getting worse and worse. It smells terrible and it looked as if they took left overs from other people and used that to make the order. Terrible.

2019-02-16Staple for KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). Shares a storefront with a butcher. I really enjoy the spicy wing and drumstick combination. The food is always made to order so it does take some time to get your food. And quality vary from batch to batch but I have no complaints.

2021-06-16They have good Korean style chicken. Much better than other higher priced Korean chicken franchises. Price reasonable with good portions.

2021-07-14The front room doesnt have air conditioning, but the food is really good. They have options for all people - vegetarian, pescatarian, or other. Its not kosher.

2021-04-07Spicy source. Definately get the spicy source. The best. Order the $3 fry too. Super in value. By far, the best in queens.
