My first negative experience of L & L Camera was 7 years ago after my mom died and I wanted to make copies of family photos to give to the family. Most photos were b & w. They overcharged and their work was not good. Now today I thought let me give them another chance. Simple job to print out a photo from zip drive. One photo - $4.30 and it came out yellowish. I got better quality at Rite Aid machine for $.99. I dont know how this place stays in business. Stay away.
Lenny and the gang couldnt be more helpful. I took old 8 mm reels, 8 mm cassettes and VHS and had them transferred onto DVD. If they found a defective tape, etc., they didnt try to transfer it and charge me, rather informed me that if I really wanted, it might be salvageable if I wanted to spend the money.Going back next week with more tapes. Love those guys. Old time business with honesty!
I came in for Passport photos. Staff was EXTREMELY helpful and followed all COVID-19 protocols to protect my and their safety. Highly recommended.
I was recently in Huntington to give a speech and found out that the venues projector needed an HDMI cable, and they didnt have one. Running out of time I raced around looking for any place that might have one. I went into L&L, but they said they didnt sell those cables and only had some for work in their shop. I explained my predicament and asked if I could rent one for two hours. No, just borrow it and bring it back! What great guys, helping me out when I had told them I wasnt even from the area. Much appreciated.
If I could give 0 starts, I would. Ive never encountered such unprofessionalism. Their employees are completely unreliable and do not care about their customers or their timelines. I regret ever trusting these people with my invitations. They showed absolutely no respect and never completed the project. I recommend using another business or to use a website.

Great Store. Small Mom and Pop shop, very Family Orientated. Great Service. They had great ideas and helped me putting my pictures in order and creating my collage.
Lenny the owner is literally the most rude human being I’ve ever dealt with. I called them for my boss and asked just for a repair estimate on a camera. He then proceeded to scream at me “IVE BEEN BACK AND FORTH WITH YOUR BOSS, I DIDNT FIX IT, AND IM NOT GOING TO, NOW PICK UP THE DAMN CAMERA.” He then hung up on my before I can even think what to say back to him. A simple “I’m very sorry but we can’t give repair estimates” would’ve sufficed. What a joke. I can’t believe this guy owned anything. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

They were great ,had some old small video cassette from my old camcorder, every pharmacy wanted to charge over $40 per cassette and I had more then 5 .so for the price of 2 I got all my cassette On dvd.had so much memories on there I didn’t know I had, even the birth on my son,so thank you for staying open for so many years,
I have been going to L n L Camera for 20 years. I have never found the owners, Marie and Lenny, anything but helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

2022-04-30Hand down one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Marie and Lenny are extremely humble and friendly, made me feel at home once I walked in. I brought three 8mm tapes to get converted to DVDs and they were done on the same day. I would highly recommend them for any service they provide, they take pride and joy into what they do. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks so much again!

2021-08-12Wow is all I can say after walking out of here. This man treated us like I’ve never been treated by a business owner before. We came in with an old Polaroid camera wanting to learn how to use it and buy some film. He was so helpful and thorough showing us everything we needed to know. We spoke for a couple minutes and you can just tell that this man has a heart of gold. We didn’t know that the film would be so expensive so we decided not to buy it but then he gave it to us free of charge! To someone he’s never met! Acts of kindness like this are few and far between. Thank you so much!

2020-12-05The staff is very nice and helpful here. They have a wide selection of camera gear especially for older cameras. I bought a flash here at a reasonable price recently and it works great. I always come here to drop off film to get developed.

2012-08-25Went to the Camera store because of the reviews I saw and chose to travel there instead of more local and larger stores. I was greeted with a huge hello and smile. They took my Nikon D200 and in a little over two hours had the service done that I needed. The price was super reasonable, and met the owner who came out to explain what he did and how he did it. This is a small family owned store that deserves your business because they care about it. Could not be happier and will make the trip in the future for any future service or Purchase needs.

2020-07-03Went to develop some 35mm film and was overcharged. The owner tried flirting with me heavily, and then proceeded to ask me about politics. I felt super uncomfortable and left. I could develop my film at Walgreens for a 1/4 of the price I was being charged.
