L Train Vintage in other cities:
Quality of their cloths dropped too much..... thing are really really really cheap there itself now, not attractive, very low end, will not come back anymore.________________________________________________My favorite clothing to-go shop. I have to say as fast fashion kicks in, clothing quality drops and price sky rocks. L Train Vintage is the place you can find decent clothing with very decent taste with affordable price. Also I am just so attracted to outwear and styles back in the 80s and 90s.
Was a little wary of this place but honestly some pretty cool finds. If you’re an average sized person meaning around 5,7-5,9 this is a good place for finds for short folks like me it can be very tricky to find good or close to good fits. But overall interesting selections.
I love literally all vintage clothing stores, theres something awesomely fashionable, cool, and obviously trending about the vintage style and fashion. I am especially a huge fan of throwback MLB (Major League Baseball) sports Jerseys (uniforms), especially those of the Washington Senators, Boston Braves, Montreal Expos, California Angels, Tampa Bay Rays, New York Giants and especially the beautiful hometown Brooklyn Dodgers. I would even expect maybe this place to have minor league baseball jerseys from the Mets former Triple A affiliate the Las Vegas 51s. Also would expect them OBVIOUSLY to have vintage memorialbelia from the L train locations and stops. Also would expect the to have throwback NBA Jersey especially Seattle Supersonics, Vancouver Grizzles, Charolate Hornets Jerseys from the early and mid 90s as well as NFL teams like the Houston Oilers.

2022-05-24This place was pretty cool and had a good amount of options. Definitely a good place for someone looking to change their style up or add to their wardrobe.

2017-09-01Went looking for a dress, ended up trying on warm winter things. Its a cute little space with quite a few wonderfully priced items.Definitely worth a visit.I do kind of wish the guy working there would have said hi or something - especially in a small store where I was one of only 4 customers perusing. Nonetheless he seemed nice.

2021-12-06Quite a dainty little place!! You have to have time and patience to shop in one of these places. If you are into retro clothing this is the place to be. Mind you these are used so check them before buying. Otherwise bargains are definitely guaranteed.

2021-12-13Compared to their other stores, this one is ridiculously overpriced and is a fraction of the size of the other locations. $100 for an old rock tshirt? You must be smoking some really powerful stuff.

2021-12-06My kids and I used to frequent this particular store but no more. We stopped by today and it seems that clothes and footwear are really marked up. The inventory consists of mediocre stuff compared to Crossroads and Beacons Closet.

2021-02-11My favorite L Train location. Here Ive purchased tons of cheaply priced outerwear and vintage angora sweaters made in France. They have an entire wall of furs! Such a fun place if youre up for hunting that special something for a great price.

2020-10-14I found a really nice jacket for only $38, this is a winter jacket that usually cost $100 plus at a cheap place. Also I got a very nice pair of levy jeans, they dont look worn surprisingly. I love this vintage store!

2018-12-09Really nice curated thrift store. My partner and I each bought a sweater and were really excited about them. We didn’t try on in store, but figured they would fit so it didn’t matter. When we tried them on at home BOTH sweaters had holes in them. Luckily enough, I am handy with a needle and thread so I fixed the holes. But I don’t think I should have to worry about multiple holes in clothes when I buy them from a thrift store as curated as this is. So buyer beware and check the clothes fully before purchasing.

2020-08-08Feel weird posting a bad review, or just a review in general, but my friend was racially profiled yesterday shopping for clothes. When we came to the register to pay, the clerk asked my friend to see his ID when he presented his debit card. I’ve shopped here before and have never once been asked for my ID, the previous customers before him were not asked for their ID’s; it made absolutely no sense, but my friend complied. He didn’t make a fuss in the store and we left with our items, but we’re definitely not supporting this business any longer.

2018-01-07The store is not the best Ive seen on this style but is a nice place, the shoes are too expensive for second hand shoes that are not special editions. The clerks are amazing, really dedicated personal who would wide you to what you want even if it is in another location from the same store. They speak Spanish too, what else can you ask for as a Latino who loves second hand clothes ?
