The Waiter Waz Patient n Friendly n Helpful in Choosing Order.Metered Parkin in Front.Sitting Booths Are Tiny.But Most Peruvian are Small in Body.I spent $124 nd had a Peruvian Beer for 1st Time.It not beta den Modelo or Corona but Tasty.
The food here is delicious! The workers are kind and we have know this place for a while now. It has a good atmosphere and great entertainment for while your waiting. Recommend this place to those who love Peruvian food!Edit: Lowered my review because of bad customer service. I still like this place but its very different when the owners arent here to supervise.
Food was delicious, portions were large, service was great. It is a mom and pop place that we will definitely be visiting again. It is off the beaten path so to speak. You would not expect what you get here from the looks outside, however do not let this decieve you! Was a great find
I previously rated this place 5 stars due to the amazing first impression they gave when NYC restaurants were allowed to start indoor dining again. Every encounter after this has been atrocious. I ordered a delivery and they forgot half of my order. I called the restaurant to complain and the driver called me to confront me about making my complaint, only because he had the other half in his car and wanted me to wait until he delivered other orders in the area before he made a circle back to my home. Talk about irresponsible and disrespectful!After a month my husband ordered another delivery and they left out all the cold items like salad, sauces and the drink he ordered. When he called the lady who answered the phone told him the driver was given the complete order, but she would just give him an additional salad and soda on his next order if he didnt get it. Seriously?!? (After he paid for his order expecting everything that he requested and gave a tip to the driver that didnt do his job!) That driver took 15 minutes to return with the missing bag. Seems as tho poor management is their thing.Anyhow one day driving by my husband felt for their chicken. The chef is indeed amazing BUT the customer service is horrendous. We went inside made our order, the young waitress had no idea of the menu items. I asked for a glass of red wine, she brought it filled to the rim and it was appalling! Tasted like dirty water with cheap alcohol. So I asked the waitress, What type of red wine is this?, She answers well ummm its red wine. So I gave her an unimpressed look. She went on to say, well it comes in bulk It doesnt have a name or a label with a shrug... So I asked why would you serve me dirty water and call it red wine? She then said okay umm soooo... I then asked her to please remove the unidentified substance she brought. She removed it from the table but still put it on the bill. She also did not offer me anything else to replace it, like a cup of water, juice, beer or soda. She just kept away from the table and sent another oblivious teen to finish up her dirty work.So a man walks in and looks around the kitchen and starts ordering the staff around. I asked him if he was the Owner or Manager he replied Yes. I told him about our less than acceptable experience as he gave a me a long stare without any acknowledgement or apology for his staff. He said he was aware of the delivery issue. After I was done he said just remove $5.00 for the red wine from their bill as if it was an effective solution to the awful service we received on multiple occasions, so I made it clear we would not return due to the lack of care and total disregard for the customers that spend their money at his establishment. I would not recommened this place to anyone!Management obviously doesnt care about the welfare of this establishment and as a customer I refuse to support their ignorance. I encourage others to stay away.
One star because the food is decent but never will I return. My husband and I went here tonight only to be overcharged and rudely treated. All the waiters are useless as well as the owner. We seated ourselves since no one payed attention to us, never got a refill or asked if everything was okay. When we got the bill we noticed that the tip of $8.50 was already included. I went up to the servers and was told that it is automatic and when I argued she then forgot how to speak English. Disgusting management and horrible service.
Service was slow for a small establishment. Food was not great this time around plus the menu offered a salad with the churrasco and when I asked for it they say the menú is old and dident include it. it is upsetting to find out after you waiting for so long... Very annoying to see they included the tip in your bill. I think we should be allowed to tip according to the service.
I called last night Thursday aprox 930ish pm a young lady picked up the phone, my intention was to place a pick up order she informed me the kitchen was closed and couldn’t help me followed by taking my order when she inquire if I was picking up or delivery she goes sorry but i can’t help you the kitchen is closed.1 why bother taking the order was she trying to play a practical joke on me ?2 I find this hurtful because I take medication based on food so while she is taking my order I felt relief because I found a place I can grab a bite followed by my important medications.Hope this isn’t routine how you mislead customers.
Service was extremely slow for a small establishment. Food was not great this time around. Very annoying to see they included the tip in your bill. I think we should be allowed to tip according to the service. I will find another Peruvian restaurant in the neighborhood.
AGAIN, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. MANAGER REFUSED TO GIVE US A FULL REFUND FOR TWO ORDERS. WENT TO LUNCH WITH COLLEAGUE. FOOD WAS HIGHLY UNDERCOOKED AND RAW. GIRL AT THE DESK CALLED MANAGER AND MANAGER REFUSED TO GIVE A FULL REFUND FOR BOTH ORDERS. BOTH WERE AFFECTED. DISRUPTED OUR LUNCH. EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT FOR US. UNFORTUNATELY THEY LOST TWO GOOD PAYING CUSTOMERS. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE AGAIN.
I have bought here for 4 years but the quality has dropped too much the last two times I buy the raw chicken came out and the chaufa did not do well the rice all soaked in water, they gave me terrible stomach aches honestly it used to be a good place But lately the food doesnt taste the same and it comes out all raw even when I always told them to leave it in the oven longer! I used to buy 2-3 times a week sorry but with me you lost a good customer!
Terrible customer service, the food regular, salty, the place full of flies, I made an order for delivery, and in the order I asked for two seltzer water, which never arrived and for which they charged me 4 dollars, call so they will take them to me, And the waiter who answered the phone told me that if we are going to take them to him, after 10min I called again and they told me that the delivery had already left, it was 9/15, they say they close at ten, from there on later they did not answer the phone again. They never sent me the sodas, and they didnt refund my money either, thats why I dont recommend this place, other than that its dirty, I cant imagine what we dont see in the kitchen.
The very delicious chicken my girl loves and also the bad thing is that I almost always get raw inside I hope to improve that well. Juicy and golden x outside and inside raw sometimes they also sell the reheated chicken it feels all dry and ugly ... but I really like the food and I dont want to stop eating but please improve the chicken cooked
Although the food tastes good, you specify your order and its like talking to a wall. They have the bad habit of NOT COOKING WELL THE CHICKEN, and no matter how much you tell them, they give you the same raw. Im tired, there are better Peruvian restaurants in the area.
Today I went to dinner at the restaurant, I usually order to go, but today my aunt and I went and ordered two 1/4 chicken separately and asked to be part of the leg first they told me that they couldnt because they give what the client orders the restaurant keeps the breasts and I mean I pay 8.50 for 1/4 chicken and the restaurant gives me what he wants and not what I want ask for the manager and the guy who attended told me that the almost it was never there, and then the cook said that if he wanted the order to wait 15 more minutes ... the customer service is terrible, and obviously if the owner is not in his business these things usually happen ... and as a suggestion It is important that in a business there is a manager who has the ability to solve these problems, which is to lose customers that, although the food is good, we cannot be run over in this way, especially when what we want is to consume and pay for good food. service.....

2022-04-25I am not sure what changed but the food is definitely tasting better than it was a couple months ago. Can’t go wrong with the chicken rice and beans. Workers are very kind and and overall very comfy.

2022-05-02Food was ok but we were the only table and now I know why ,service was non existent I guess it was because they already included the 20%I had to go up twice and ask for things that I needed .i will definitely not return Ill take my money elsewhere..

2022-06-13I ordered food yeterdqy for delivery and what I did ordered was ceviche de pescado and mixto and then I ordered Jalea wich was ok, just that with the Jalen they give you yuca and the yuca was not well cook and with no salt and when you cook it you have to add salt to the water and verify that it is well cook and put salt on it, otherwise will not be very to eat it

2018-11-25Delicious food, would definitely come back again!! Tastes like real Peruvian food. Highly recommend. My favorite was the green spaghetti and steak. Yummy!!! (The picture doesnt do any justice, we inhaled our lunch!) Service was quick and pleasant. I dont know maybe its the weekend employees? Try it out and see for yourself! Came in on a Sunday at 3pm.

2022-01-30Disgusting delivery door dash service. They cancelled my order an hr and 20 mins after ordering without giving us a call or notice.The resturant nor the door dash driver. After calling they stated that the restaurant was closed! Why would they still except orders ?!
