This place is amazing! The food is hella fresh! The bartenders and servers keep things movin and are fast, friendly and most importantly keep those drinks flowin and food coming out while you are waiting for your flight.
Best Margaritas! Quick service and staff is super friendly. Hopeful you get Millie as a bar tender. She is amazing! AND makes the best margarita. Great spot for good food, drink, and excellent service.
Bad customer service, bad food. We were told by the host just to find a seat and someone will take our orders. We were waiting for a while and were ready to leave when out of the blue someone from the bar took our orders. I ordered two tacos (chicken and carnitas), a side of rice and beans as well as bottled water. When food came, meat on both tacos were very dry, no rice and beans or bottled water. We can’t complain since the person who delivered the food just went away so fast. I had to go to Hudson store nearby to get my drink. I am easy to please but my experience here was terrible. Should we expect eateries in the airport to be this way?
Danny was absolutely amazing!! He greeted us immediately, cleaned off the table and suggested a really drink for me after I got off my flight. He was really great! Thank you for the great service!
The hostess Anna was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. She gave me a sample of the vegetarian taco filling. Mushroom and corn and it was delicious. The service was fast, tables were clean and the staff was also friendly. I will definitely be stopping by here again if I’m at the terminal.

Bartender Danny was very nice and personable! I ordered the La Guera beverage and it was delicious, but the burrito was just okay (it’s airport food, it’s expected LOL) . I’d rate a 4 if you’re into good drinks and good service since it’s hard to come by these days.

The food was great, street tacos style with onion and cilantro and a little bit of lime really good 😋. The steak and carnitas were my favorite. Drinks were a bit pricey but strong. Overall it was good experience .

I had an absolutely fantastic time before my morning flight. I had a delayed flight and The bartenders Danny and Zuhey took the absolute best care of me. Definitely made my lay over amazing.
My experience with Dani was amazing, it was my first time in the NYC airport. Flying in from boston My flight was delayed I got hungry and I stopped by Lachula taqueria for a quick bite. Dani immediately took care of me recommended me a drink that is now my new go to drink! He also had me try the tacos that I fell in love with! He made sure he met all my needs, he was very friendly, quick and honest! I love his customer service ask for him if you stop by!! He will take great care of you! This is one of those times the star rating system just does not cut it! So there I was, standing in Terminal B of Laguardia, wondering where I can get a quick bite to eat before my connection so I do a quick Google search and see that La Chula is highly rated. So I wander over and let me say first impression - this place is classy! It seems like the type of place that would have disposable glassware, MADE OF GLASS! The bar was hopping, understandably, but to my luck a table was getting up right as I wanted to sit down. I immediately find myself in what can only be an episode of Undercover Boss! The waiter - no - the legend Gustavo is serving half the terminal! The Paloma may have been invented in Mexico but it was perfected in Laguardia! I was told the tacos took 15 minutes and was able to literally set my watch to the time! Most people discount airport food, but Ill schedule a layover just to stop by! As they say at La Chula - Casamigos para mi amigos!
Inattentive service, food was good but for the price they have small portions and no sides come with the tacos. Beer I ordered had a lot of head on it, chips guac and salsa came with no guac so had to ask for it, no napkins or water offered/provided until I asked for it.
Great little place right in the terminal. Bright, friendly and open. Ate the Carne Asada quesadilla and it was delicious. Cesar, bartender made my margarita from scratch; no pre-made mix here!

My experience at La Chula was Gustavo terrific. Gustavo was efficient, friendly, accommodating and attentive…the food was delish and so were the drink. Whenever time permits, stop by, ask for Gustavo and order the carna asada burrito!!!

Very good margaritas, if pricey. Terrible tacos, mostly due to the worst tortillas Ive probably ever had: dry, thin, with a consistency between leather and cardboard.

They will charge you for a small black forest ham sandwich and 20oz zero sugar coke, $19.14. And give you a receipt with none of the bought items on it. At the same time they will not display prices for any of the items.
No hot food, and the sandwich from the cold case was not good. Ever the yogurt parfait was bad. I miss the old taco place. :(

Okay, so my expectations were pretty non-existent because...its airport food. I read the other reviews and I wasnt looking forward to this meal at all. But there werent any other options (I hate Shake Shack), my plane was delayed, and I was hungry. I ordered the veggie nachos and the churros. Honestly, they werent bad. I expected a lot worse. The serving of nachos was very generous and the churros, while kind of soggy and skinny, were edible. Im not mad at this meal (but I probably would be if this wasnt the airport). It was pricey, however. I paid over $20.
Im going to give it a 4 stars with the strict understanding that Im rating airport food.Got the nachos and while they wont be putting my local pub out of business, they were decent, affordable and there were more than enough for my lunch.Not a lot more to say. The service was OK. Pleasant but not enthusiastic. But then ... I probably wouldnt be either and they simply looked a bit tired ... not unpleasant.

First...the chips are fantastic. If you eat anything here, just get those. The guac that came with them was reminiscent of pre-packaged grocery store guacamole. The tacos were insanely greasy, and not in a good way. The meet was more BBQ than Mexican. It even had a sweet bbq-like sauce on them. Carnitas were like pulled pork. Carne Asada like...I dont know. Crock pot steak cubes?? Nothing felt very Mexican. Skip this place and just eat and Shake Shack like I should have done (and the La Chula employees were themselves doing)

2022-09-01First walking up to the restaurant I was welcomed by Gustavo offering the first available seat. Made one of the best Mojitos I have had in quite sometime. Pleasantconversation, recommend good food and was enjoyable time and would definitely come back.

2022-02-19Google Maps says “temporarily closed” which isn’t inaccurate. The bar is open but after sitting there for five minutes and the bartenders being more interested in washing glasses and talking to each other, I got up and left. Losers.

2022-08-08Very poor customer service! I purchased to go food, sat on their table on the left outside their area and was chased away because my order was not a dine in order. Clearly there were no lines or customers waiting for a table, all tables were available but even though I was “their customer” they told me to leave and go sit elsewhere. I regret even supporting their business. How rude to get chased away from a table that was not even needed. Why would you treat a customer of your own business that way? If I knew I couldn’t sit at your own tables after ordering food from you I never would’ve!
