2022-05-31La Colina is a fantastic getaway for relaxation and amazing views! The grounds have all kinds of areas to relax - pool, fire pits, barn sitting areas...and the owners Stacey and Andrew make your time there feel as if you are one of their friends coming for a visit! We will definitely go back and this time we might wonder off of the property to some of the local businesses.

2021-10-06La Colina was magical! What a spectacular reprieve from our fast paced everyday life! The hosts, Stacey and Andrew, were so welcoming and had our room equipped with everything we needed to just relax and unwind. The location is so intimate and private yet just a couple of miles down the road is the most charming town with great breweries and cafes. But you can easily just stay on the expansive property and enjoy the breathtaking views, go for a hike, and explore all the perks of this wonderful hidden gem. My highlight would have to be sipping a cocktail, snuggled up in a blanket on an Adirondack chair, next to the fire pits (which are insanely cool!), gazing up at the stars. We can’t wait to come back!!!

2022-06-20La Colina (the hill) is the perfect city escape. It starts from the minute you turn off the highway; the winding driveway cuts through a small forest as you ascend to top of a private, 60-acre hill. The historic main house, stables, potting shed (morning coffee) & casitas are charming and fully upgraded. As stated in other reviews, the real highlight of our stay were the hosts, Stacey, and Andrew (from England). They have a great list of activities and recommendations; we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast (maple farm) & lunch at two unique working farms, & pizza in a brewery/barn. Have fun at La Colina, just don’t book Casita #5—it’s mine!

2021-10-05My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Colina and look forward to returning! The grounds are spectacular with sweeping views of the valley, farmlands and mountains. Accommodations charming, decorated beautifully and very comfortable! The hosts are amazing and helped guide us to experience the best of the Hudson Valley. Highly recommend.

2022-06-23LaColina is a magical place. Amazing views! Close to so many restaurants and breweries! The stables are a fantastic place to have a dinner party, brunch or just hang out! Stacey and Andrew could not be better hosts, they have not missed a detail!

2021-10-05A wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily-life and just a short drive from NYC, La Colina is a historical home perched on a hill with lovely SW views over the Black Dirt Region of Orange Co. and beyond to NJ. Rooms comprise of just 4 Casitas which make this an intimate setting for a weekend getaway. A stable repurposed as an entertainment lounge area, a pool, outdoor fire cauldrons, 46 acres of woods and close proximity to many distilleries, breweries, farms and the just-opened Legoland make La Colina a memorable experience.
