Great coffee and splendid scones. BUT: I noticed I was charged for two scones instead of one. They played surprised and returned the money. Everything polite... As I was having my coffee, the same lady overbilled in the same way two more customers, who noticed and received an apology. Petty theft from the cusoners seems to be a systemic issue here — I would have rated it one star, but such option is not available.
Coffee and few baked treats is all youll get at this roaster but, man, are they good. Join cool kids and clued-in Continentals for dark, intense espresso and signature offerings like draft latte, a naturally sweet iced caffe latte. Also on tap is La Colombes cold-pressed Pure Black Coffee, steeped in oxygen-free stainless steel wine tanks for 16 hours.
Although this is my favorite brand of coffee, it is not my favorite location. The store gets super crowded at times and they have a limited selection of food products. That said, the cappuccinos and lattes are too notch. Meanwhile, the draft coffee is always simply sublime. This store has always seemed very clean and staffed with excellent employees.
Service is definitely spotty here and im pretty much tired of it. There is only two people here I trust with my morning routine. Angie and a tall gentleman with glasses. These two, I can always trust to keep my morning routine on track and they recognize their regular customers. Everyone else, Im over it. Im tired of stopping my day to come back and fix my order. I really dont want to leave this location because I love Angie and the tall gentleman, but really considering taking my business to a different location
My new favorite coffee shop in NYC. Happy to see these popping up everywhere. I love the draft latte or the triple draft. My favorite drinks by far. Recommend these drinks to everyone. They also have oat milk which is amazing. Sometimes service can be a bit spotty but thats all coffee shops in NYC.
I have consistently met with friends at this coffee spot. The employees are friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is laid back and I have never been disappointed with the beverages or the service. $2 for a regular coffee in a mug plus 50 cent refills are perfect.
This Philadelphia native coffee chain consistently produces some of the best coffee on the east coast! I fell in love with their draft latte and pure black cold brew, and I frequently find myself getting what Ive dubbed a Black, Tan, and Red - a black & tan with a shot of espresso, perfect for waking up in the morning.
Maybe not the greatest place for doing work but always dependable for a great cup of coffee. This is a pretty small location (but equally pretty) compared to its NoHo spot. I did appreciate that I was able to get a table on a Sunday afternoon. Pros: I love La Colombe coffee. My iced mocha was expectedly good. My coconut muffin was fine if a little bland. Cons: small tables, only one outlet, no bathroom, no wifi (unless you have TWC and then you can log in to their hotspot), and perplexingly very cold. And I mean shivering cold after a few hours of working on my laptop there. Brrr.
Pretty much good coffee place. Very clean even in rainy weather and absolutely friendly stuff. Coffee is really delicious and served great. The minus is a design, not cozy and there is no desire to stay here for longer than one cup of drink. For to-go option its kind of overpriced.
Cozy location- I like how efficient the baristas are and regardless of the crowd, you can always find a seat (just dont come in groups larger than 2.)I did not know this till recently but their americano actually comes with 4 shots of espresso.. which is DELICIOUS but they will absolutely make one for you with less shots if you specify :)
Hands down: Best ice redeye in New York City. If you like ice redeye, just go here and you will discover why. Wish they would open more stores in this city.Been going here for 8 years, and it has gotten to the point that whenever I see a new specialty coffee house or cafe, I do not even bother to try them out, or try them knowing they will not be as good as La Colombe. No place in this city can match La Colombes ice redeye.

2022-06-28New York City = La Colombe Coffee Roasters. If you are going to another “popular” coffee shop (SB), then stay home. You need to be be going to authentic coffee shops where you can sit down with a real cup and saucer of coffee or tea with freshly made baked croissants or pain au chocalat. And the baristas are QUICK! The line moves like lightning…I don’t know how they do it. The staff is polite and accommodating—taking every request, addition, or change with ease. I have been to this specific location on Church St. and have never had a bad experience. This is my favorite coffee stop and wish they were everywhere. I have sat and enjoyed my lattes, and there is an endless stream of people, so they are doing something right, and I must not be the only one who considers La Colombe their favorite coffee, because in the hour I have been here, there have been at least 100 people come through here. Coffee? La Colombe! I’m going to post lots of pictures of coffee because, uh, it’s a coffee place and each one is a work of art, aesthetically and palatably.

2022-03-23Have long been a fan of La Colombe, my first time going to this location. Coffee was wonderful as always, service outstanding as well! The girl that took my order was so sweet despite the long line and complimented my outfit, it made my day! Cannot say a bad thing about this place.

2022-07-08Highly recommend if you like proper coffee. The light-medium roasted beens were delicious. My faith in finding good coffee in the states has been restored 😅

2018-04-02The look is so simple but so welcoming! The customer service was fabulous, even though the line was almost out the door on a snowy day. The coffee was really ok but their almond croissant is their hidden gem.The tables are usually for 2, not exactly for a big group. It’s also a 3 minute walk from the canal street metro, that’s great!

2019-10-17A warm coffee shop with a line that moves efficiently.I had a cappuccino. It was made with well balanced coffee beans and the correct ratio of foam/hot milk. The design was also a nice touch. Some seating is available and staff are quick to notice empty tables and promptly clean for the next customer.

2019-01-03Came here in Jan 1st as I was in the area and needed a caffeine boost, thank goodness it was open but they did not have any pastries for the day. I was close to not ordering a cortado as I really wanted to have a nice small bite along with it. It was quiet in there with a few people as it was still New Year’s morning.

2022-07-22Beautiful location but as a coffee shop with quite a bit of seating, it needs a restroom!

2018-10-15What a great coffee shop! While Ive had their espressos many times in the past, I decided to try a limited OJ in draft form. It was delicious!
