I was on the fence between a 3 and 4 star review but trying to be fair. This was my first time ordering here and the order was wrong twice. They forgot one of my tacos and luckily I caught it before leaving the parking lot. Unfortunately I realized my nachos were wrong after I got home. Also planned on ordering a torta but they did not have the bread which was another disappointment. The items all seemed fresh and authentic but I probably won’t be back. When I go out to order almost $35 worth of food I’d prefer to not worry about an easy order being wrong.
Food is authentic, delicious and ALWAYS Fresh! The staff is very welcoming, and friendly. They offer a wide verity of things to eat, and are always adding new items. The restaurant is very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the are, or looking for fresh authentic tacos.
Its a small spot with friendly service and delicious food. The guy at the register always greets me with a smile, and laughs if its two days in a row that Ive gone in.You order what you want off the menu -- its a decently extensive list of tacos -- and choose cheese or no cheese. When its done theres a toppings bar and you dress them how youd like.I highly recommend them.
Had lunch at La Divina Dos today and ordered 2 pastor tacos and one barbacoa taco. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality- it was obvious the food was authentic, homemade and not from packages. Refried beans were a hit and all items were flavorful. The service was excellent and the staff/owners were very friendly.
Debatably the best tacos in Buffalo! Classic delicious tacos awesomely priced. Love the topping bar and the easy laid back nature of the place. The staff was super friendly and happy to be there. The tacos were beyond delicious and I will be going back to this new location time and time again!
Delicious and fresh! Plus helpful staff. We ordered all vegetarian stuff plus refried beans without inquiring if the beans were veg. The staff noticed our order and informed us that the beans contain meat and them offered several alternatives. We were grateful for their thoughtfulness. Cant wait to go back!
These are hands down the best tacos in the area. You’ll get fresh made tacos that you can decorate your own way. Just like meat and tortilla, no problem. Like ultra loaded tacos piled high with amazing toppings, you could do that too. If you haven’t been here, you’re messing up!
Like its sister location in Kenmore, NY, this location not only offers one of the best authentic Mexican tacos around, but also has a full size bar. They serve beer, liquor, and tasty Margaritas. About the same in size as their Kenmore location. They have tables and booths to eat at. You can also eat at the bar. Great food at cheap prices.
I really enjoy this Taqueria!! Its one of my favorite places to go for a bite out. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is always fresh and well-prepared. This location has the right mix pf being popular while still almost always having available seating. Finally, I find their prices are reasonable. I just wish I remembered to bring in my clean reusable cup, to avoid consuming disposable styrofoam cups for their fountain beverages. Their cups are plentiful, though.
The kind of Mexican youd expect in southern California. Best , simple, authentic, no frills Mexican food youll find in Buffalo. Never more than a 5 minute wait to get your food. Tons of choices for meat and veggie eaters. Just dont expect much more than tacos, tamales and beer, which is fine by me, stick to what your good at.
Best tacos in the Suburbs hands down. Extremely authentic tasting food that is very reasonably priced, served fast in a clean environment. Great spot for a quick relatively healthy bite to eat (if you order correctly) right on Transit Road. Just like the orginal location
After falling in love with the first La Divina I had to try this one and was not disappointed! High tables and booths and plenty of seating with the same relaxed feel. There is a full bar which is pretty awesome! It seemed like there were even more optiond at this location including tamales. Definitely love what they did at this location !
I got so excited when I drove by and saw that a La Divina had opened up on Transit! I am a regular at the original at the Buffalo location because I work next door at least 1-2 times a week. I live closer to the one on Transit, so when i saw it, I immediately did a U-turn. Food is just as fantastic as the one in Buffalo, and they have an additional veggie taco option that the Buffalo location does not, eggplant- which is now one of my favorites. I also enjoy their potato and poblano, cauliflower, or zucchini tacos. You absolutely HAVE to stop by and try it, its the freshest, most flavorful food you will ever have.Dont forget to try the avocado salsa/sometimes marked guacamole, on your food (located at the toppings bar) Its to die for!
I work within a mile of this location and have eaten here more times than I can count. The best words I can use to describe my experience would be quality, consistency, authenticity, and passion. I have only ever received a high standard of service and look forward to every visit as their staff clearly cares about what theyre doing and put in effort to give a satisfactory experience.
I initially visited on Christmas eve. The tacos, my first tacos ever, were so good that I visited again on Boxing day, the next day they were open.Surprisingly, the tacos on Boxing day were awful! They tasted like re-heated leftovers. Now, I dont know if serving leftovers is common practice at this establishment since I visited only twice. But they have definitely ruined Tacos for me.
This is a fantastic sequal to the original La Divina downtown. Great authentic Mexican at an even better price. This new location has added a bar as well. It looks like its sort of a work-in-progress as the owners are still making improvements to the place, which I like. I like going here for a quick lunch on break.
There are no chips and salsa here. There is no margarita machine. There is no mariachi band. You still reading? Good. Cause these are some of the best damn tacos you can get in Western New York. Pastor, Barbacoa, Chorizo, they are all amazing. I have now tried every taco on the menu and can confirm it is all delicious. So long as your expectations are set properly, you will not be disappointed.
The tacos asadas were dry and hard to chew. The pico at the self-serve bar was watery and gross with the tongs swimming in it. The rib-eye and barbacoa tacos were decent. Every table not being occupied was dirty. Overall, its a sufficient taco joint, but definitely not a real taqueria.
I didnt have it in me to give a lower rateing at first, but the staff was not at all welcoming if not a lil rude, its off putting. The food was okay not great however the part that turned me off was the $5 for chips and queso which was realy a small cup of cheese flavored water, 3rd time here with each time a lil less sesirable mostly due to rudeness. It wouldnt avoid it but not my go to for sure.
OH....MY... JESUS. Or Dios mio. Whatever. You owe it to yourself if you love taqueria style eats to visit this place at least once. They even carry rarities not typical seen in most American places like tongue and tripe. For heavens sake go there, eat it and dont be afraid to try those oddities as they are prepared in a way that will have you coming back for more. Love the fact you can load up your preferred amount of onion, lime and cilantro and they have house sauces thatll remind you that homemade is always better.
Absolutely disappointed. Not as good as the one on Delaware. The toppings bar was sloppy and poorly stocked. And the overly tattooed & pierced girl with an attitude working last night acted like she couldnt care less about anything. Sad because I was hoping to visit this place more often.
Hands down the most authentic Taqueria in Western New York. From the Barbacoa & Al Pastor, to the veggie options, (Potato, Poblano & Mushrooms) & (Zucchini Calabasita). + Tamales & Tortas, and a salsa bar, This is the real deal!!!! Also serving beer, margaritas & horchata!!!!! Btw, Im not affiliated with La Davinias, just a die hard fan. So long, and thanks for all the Tacos!!!!
They forgot my order I’m kinda mad about that and that loses the fifth star(order#9 if you remember me), food was good and service was quick, 7 bucks for a 32oz corona not bad wish you guys luck the last few owners all failed but hope to see this place around I’ll be back

2022-05-13Always great food. Fresh and cooked well. They are very friendly so dont let ordering intimidate you its easy as walking up and being like yo I want a burrito simple as can be. Ive heard other people walk in with friends and basically tell their friends the same thing. Just walk up and order easy to do and very tasty.

2019-03-09Simply the best tacos I have had in a long time! The Al Pastor (marinated pork loin with pineapple), Barbacoa (braised shreaded beef) and Ribeye tacos were all winners in my book. Add in the tasty double taco shells, premium Corona beer, free toppings bar and the fact that I got carded for the first time in 15 years by the friendly staff and you have one of the best taco joints anywhere, not just The Best WNY tacos. Highly recommended by this foodie!

2017-11-11Best authentic tacos this side of Transit Rd! Cheap, ridiculously delicious, amazing everything. Be sure to load up at the bar with fresh salsa, guac, and get the orange peppers! Theyre spicy but savory!

2018-05-19Excellent! I ordered 2 chicken tacos, one corn shell, and one flour shell. Both were delicious, but I would highly recommend the corn shell. Everything seemed like authentic Mexican, home made, fresh ingredients and tastes great. The price is not too expensive. 4 tacos and 2 drinks for about $20. Add your own toppings at the taco bar. Not lot of seating but it wasnt crowded either. Friendly employees and management. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

2017-07-28Most excellent place for true, authentic tacos. Fresh made tortilla. Unlimited toppings bar. Reasonably priced at $2.50 for most. Add queso or crema for $.50 each. They got their liquor license so order a Modelo, Dos Equis, or Corona, or whatever. You will not be disappointed.

2021-08-18I’ve been eating La Davina Dos now for a few years. Got my guys in my shop falling in love with them. The food is just phenomenal!! It’s authentic, the attention to every detail in the way the meats are prepared shows . The food is flavorful, and delicious!! I’m reading reviews and some people give this place 4 stars and say that the food is fantastic. Just give them 5 stars! Make this place Buffalo famous!! The staff is awesome as well!

2018-12-17So good that I went two days in a row. Everything is delicious but the barbacoa was my favorite.

2017-03-17Love the new location, its a lot closer to me than it used to be, and believe it or not, I think the tacos are even better than before. Its nice that the people working only have to make sure we have a place to sit, something to drink, and tacos to eat. My absolute favorite taco is the barbacoa, but I will still always grab a Pastor and an Asada as well to mix it up a little bit. Ive never had hot sauce quite like La Divinas, when they say its spicy, they mean it. Im actually getting hungry just writing this review. If I had one complaint itd be that they stay open longer because I find myself hungry for great tasting tacos at all hours of the night. Edited the review to add a pic

2019-08-31Twice the Davina as the other La Davina!Actually I went to this one first. Food is amazing, and the service is better at this one than the other one. Same problem applies to this place as the other. The food is badass and you should try it.
