I just signed up at LA Fitness in Farmingville and General Manager Scott was extremely helpful and accommodating from the first phone call to the time i walked in and signed up. I was offered a free personal training session and even had Scott himself follow up with me as soon as he saw me on my second day at the gym.
This man Jose; let me tell you about this man. We came in with a group of 9 guys. NINE Guys. Not Five Guys; NINE GUYS. I tell my guy Jose, hey man we dont wanna waste your time, but were here for a vacation, and were just tryna ball. Jose wastes no time and says I gotchu, come on in, and well get you taken care of. This dude, at light speed, gets all of us guest passes, and we balled, hopped in the pool, and took showers. Jose, you made our vacation, youre a good looking dude, we love you, and youre one of the boys. Thanks for everything. If were back in the area, were going to this LA Fitness.

Been going to this gym for years now, the club is very organized and the staff is very helpful, the gm Scott is very professional and the environment is really sanitary definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to join.
Great place I have been coming here for 5 years and I love the large space, I don’t feel cramped here. They have a large selection. If machines available if the one you are looking for is occupied. The workers are very nice and helpful if you need advice.

I just purchased a new home and one of the incentives was a 3 year membership. LA Fitness in Farmingville is the best.
Gym is nice, spread out, the negative for me is the classes where they leave the door open forcing you to listen to the blasting poor choices of music
I went to other gyms very infrequently because I did not like their lack of equipment, or just not having child care. This LA fitness has almost everything I want in a gym. Plenty of equipment to mix up my routine, a swimming pool, a basketball court with some great friendly competition, and a kids zone. My son loves going to the gym now to make and play with new friends, whether it is other children or the staff if no other kids are there. Scott was great and explained how everything works on the sales/pricing end at the start. The initial fee is a bit much but completely worth it as I went from going to a gym once a week gym, to 8-10 times a week. In 3 weeks I already feel like Im in the best shape I have been in all year!If they add some punching bags and a slightly bigger ab core workout area, Ill give them 6 stars
Everytime I come in Jose is always helpful when I need it. He is very nice when I need to add someone in to my plan.
Be careful when signing up and signing contract. Hidden annual fee!!! Nobody mentions it but it is supposedly in contract! Double check classes before going..sometimes canceled without notice...good teachers for Zumba.
This well run club is my favorite LA Fitness location. The management does an excellent job keeping the place very clean and supplies such as towels and spray bottles for sanitation available. The equipment is well organized which is very different from other LA Fitness locations. Update: Although functional, some of the worn/torn equipment should be repaired.
This is a really good gym it had a lot of equipment and machines unlike planet. Overall the gym is a 5 star gym
Weight machines have been broken over a month now. Now about ten different cardio machines are out of service. Management and the local community could care less we’re in a Covid surge. Maybe 1/4 of people there are actually wearing masks. I reported this location to the Suffolk County Dept of health and will be writing to corporate next.
Great vibe here! I love coming. A lot of equipment so you almost never have to wait to use anything.
It has a nice selection of equipment, machines, weights, cardio, classes and pool.However, the gym is a MESS!Plates, dumbbells, pre-loaded bars and cable accessories are strewn throughout the entire gym. Some are left in the aerobic room and basketball area.There are not enough of the lighter weight dumbbells. I can NEVER find 15 through 22.5#.Please manage the gym more efficiently. Hire someone to put the weights back OR enforce your rules to make members keep the gym in order!!Also, please get more of the 15, 17.5, 20, 22.5# dumbbells!

I’m visiting from a hotel and this club is amazing great customer service friendly and great gym.
I have been a member for 3 years now. I take cycling everyday at 9:15 am. I go to different gyms to facilitate that. I then workout on the machines and free weights. I walk on the treadmill and use the stair machine. I like it as no one bothers me. I can go as I please.

Dirty, you can walk in on a Sunday morning at 8am when the doors open, there is trash everywhere, trash cans overflowing. Bathrooms dirty too. Except for the last two weeks the life guard has been late. If I was 15 minutes late for work for a month of sundays I would be fired.
Great equipment and staff. I just wish they were still members of Active & Fit because theyre right next to the airport, but there isnt an official, consistent way for aircrew to get day-passes when we overnight nearby
I called in Saturday late morning and was about to join but the rude customer service on the phone reversed my decision. Thank you for making it so quick and easy for me. Next time if someone is still speaking and introducing their situation, dont hang up on them and transfer to someone else without informing them thats what you are doing. Extremely arrogant, unprofessional, and overall uncaring towards new potential members. If thats how you treat these, I wonder how you treat existing members. When I called back it went straight to the other person and third time my number was blocked. The female at the counter simply refused to pick up. (Why work and entertain new clients questions?) What a foul gym this must be. Not at all interested and based on their behavior, it looks like the gym is not very interested in new clients so they must not be planning to stick around for very long. Who knows. Maybe they DONT WANT new clients and are trying to SELF-SABOTAGE. Maybe the GM is not vested in his/her job so why invest in customer care. Protect your $$. Sometimes these things are blessings in disguise and will spare you much disappointment and frustration. And maybe even some kind of disease if their quality of care, or lack thereof, transfers to their care of hygiene around the gym. I guess for these reasons members are dropping out and this is why salespeople call potential ones repetitively desperate for business. Lots to surmise here.

Bathrooms are disgusting 1 stall works with 2 urinals weights are never ever put back shame pay so much for what?

Zumba instructor Ana Rattien is the best sumba instructor I have ever had . Her class is full of energy the song choices are n point, she is constantly having new routines and songs is fabulous. You definitely get a great workout

This is a very good gym it has a lot of lighting a lot of good equipment. Big ceiling fans to push the cold air around for when you break a sweat. All in all good atmosphere.
Just started but not a great start...they should provide the same rate at facility or on lineI spent $149 today when its $0 on line... terrible way to treat you clients and treat new clients.I would like me my fee refunded.But I will say that the young lady who assisted me was just awesome.
Post Quarantine 6/24/21: Basketball court is now open. The young men who play here do not utter as much profanities as the ones who play at the LA Fitness in Patchogue, which is about 5 miles away.No volleyball games yet.This club is clean, all throughout.Even the mats are relatively clean despitefrequent use. The women’s locker room and showers are consistently clean.There is no sauna.There is also no café. So no smoothies are sold here like they are in Patchogue.Staff is friendly and professional.It is worth it for me to drive several miles from Patchogue to Farmingville to work out here. I feel better about myself at the LA Fitness in Farmingville.

Excellent gym with excellent staff! My personal trainer, Matt, is an excellent trainer and has helped me take my workout to the next level. With his guidance, I was able to shed 15lbs of fat and add muscle. I look forward to our workouts each week. I suggest everyone get a personal trainer so you can have that one on one coaching session to learn and take your workout to the next level.
By far the best gym in the area. The gym is very clean and well kept, lots of workout equipment and space, friendly people and the staff is amazing. One person in particular, Vladimir Leveque really stuck out to me. He was super friendly when I was signing up. He wasn’t pushy and did what was best for me and my needs. He went above and beyond to give me some pointers while working out. He was very personable and you could tell everyone knew him there. Excellent addition to the facility. I’m definitely a happy client and highly recommend this gym.
It would be nice if they supplied mats for classes. other then that its a nice gym
Love the Zumba classes here. I wish the chlorine from this swimming pool does not smell inside the gym. I have a bit of an allergy to it
Ive been working with a new personal trainer Sherrie. She is extremely knowledgeable. Gives me the motivation and encouragement I need to get through a tough work out. And gives me tips on how to grow in fitness on my own. Shes got great energy and youll be feeling her work outs for days!! (Legs youll be feeling for a week!) 👍
Having never been to a gym before, or barely ever working out, I decided to join this gym a few months ago. Heading to the gym was a pretty intimidating experience at first but I made it through my first few workouts thanks to the guidance of the helpful staff. I signed up for personal training sessions and Ive been working with Matt ever since. His training sessions have been a huge help. Im happy with the results Ive seen in just a few months, but more importantly Ive been able to learn a ton about working out effectively, practicing proper form, and pushing myself further with each visit. Thanks to that Im able to put together a solid plan every time I go in for a workout.
Just came back to the gym and it is clean. Got bored with home workouts. Time to get back to work.

Matt Morris is an excellent trainer. I have had over twenty trainers in my 69 years. I would rate Matt at the very top. I have been seeing him for a year, averaging two to three times a week. I usually so one hour sessions. He is very kind and a great motivator. He pushes me hard but is cautious that I do not get hurt. I have back issues and he reads about as many exercises I can do to both strengthen my back. After a year I am feeling much better and can now do an work which I could not do before. Her is extremely personable and talks about many things during my training. This makes the workout go fast and he is very interesting. I love his POSITIVE motivation. I would recommend Matt to everyone young or old. He trains himself daily and is a very good influence on others. On a scale of 1-10 I would give Matt a 10+. I cannot day enough great things about him. He is the reason I continue to get up daily, even if I do not have training ,to go to the gym!!!!!!
Gym is clean and staff is always very friendly. They’re constantly keeping up equipment and cleaning thoroughly.
Pam Parker is a great instructor, she does amazing body works classes on Saturdays and Sunday’s. Come check it out but get their early she has a large following.
Love this gym!!! Everyone is really great and very energetic!! My personal trainer Brittnay C is freaking awesome!!! She really works me hard and motivates me to always do better for myself. I wish everyone could have her as a trainer!! She is the absolute best!!
Trainer Matt is awesome, he is highly motivating and knowledgeable. Every workout is intense but every workout is also different. He will hold you accountable to push yourself, and you WILL see results. Can not recommend Matt enough! LA is a great gym, and he is running the show!

Brittany is an amazing trainer! She pushes you when you want to just give up but is also aware when you need a break and won’t overwork you. She gives great advice for diets and workouts on the side. I recommend her to anyone that is looking to get into shape and learn about weight lifting! I have been with her for about 8 months and will continue working with her to help me get the results I want!
I give this place five stars all day. I use one of the trainers- hes whipped me back into shape.The staff is second to none. Its still clean and hasnt been run down like the other gyms in the area, all the machines are BRAND NEW.They have a private PT studio for training, Ive been using a trainer a couple times a week before summer.All in all, id recommend it. More for people who want to stay in shape, less for the crowd that just wants a social hour at the gym.
Have been going here since I moved to Farmingville in February. Excellent gym have gotten my moneys worth since joining. Been training with Matthew Morris since I joined great trainer always pushes me to my limits love it. Excellent equipment excellent staff who know you by name. Love it here very much!!!
I recently went back to working out after being a slacker for almost two months. My new personal trainer, Sherrie, has made sure that I feel motivated enough to keep me coming back. I highly recommend her, shes got great personality and she will make sure that you push yourself up to do workouts that you didnt even thought possible were capable of.
Nice, clean facility. As someone who lacked motivation, I was introduced to Brittany C. Best decision I made! She is the reason Im coming up on my 1 year anniversary at the gym. Ive never had a trainer who cares about their clients as she does. She knows how to motivate and keep things different while achieving the goals I set out for myself. Ive been a member of LA for over a year and love my trainer Brittany C. When I joined I wanted a trainer because I was intimadated by the environment, the machines, and generally not knowing what I was supposed to be doing. Brittany really helped me feel comfortable at the gym, demonstrated how the machines worked and how/why she had me doing a certain exercise. She really focused on my personal goals and developed a program around my needs and abilities. Her workouts are challenging but manageable. She definitely pushes your limits because she knows you are capable of more, always encouraging you to push harder. She also helped me develop a diet plan that met my restrictive needs as a vegetarian. Brittany is the best of the best when it comes to personal trainers.
I have been going for less then a year and everyone is so nice and i love it. I also have been training with Brittany C. She is the best and shes not only my trainer but now my friend. Her knowledge and ability to help others is unexplainable. She is overall a great person and great trainer.
The bathrooms are usually smelly to start. For some unknown reason. Management decided to place the COVID spray bottle cleaners. Nowhere near the paper towels used in conjunction with the cleaners. You need to walk over to the table where the spray bottles are, walk over to the paper towels, clean the equipment, walk to the garbage, walk back to the table to put the cleaners back. Planet Fitness has cleaning stations set up around the gym. Each station has the spray bottle cleaners, paper towels, garbage and hand cleaner all together.
I started personal training with Matt back in July. I have never been one to really enjoy working out, but Matt helps motivate me to come to the gym and get results. If you think you cant do that extra rep, Matt will try to push you to do more than you think you can. Matt also tries to get to know you on a personal level so you dont feel like youre just a client.Matt is always on time and ready to go!
Love my trainer Brittany :) Shes awesome sauce! The gym is clean, machines work. I wish they would have more sanitizing supplies available to clean the machines before I work out though. The placement of them leaves maybe 2 for the entire gym.
The LA fitness here in Farmingville is really Nice and Clean, Nice staff too. I’ve been working out there for almost a year now with my trainer Matt, he’s really a good person and it’s actually fun working out with him. I love the training and the results!

Ive been a member at many gyms over the years- and a very active healthy lifestyle participant. I have to say that of all the LA Fitness gyms that I have worked out at, Farmingville is my absolute favorite. Everyone is greeted at the front door like the employees - and trainers are actually really happy that we are there. I esp find Amir to be a huge asset to LA Fitness as he always has time to answer all of our questions and always has words of encouragement for everyone! Good work guys! Highly recommend this club!!!
I have been going to La Fitness for a while. The staff is great. I joined because I wanted guidance in training. My personal trainer Brittany. C is great. She works you hard and listens to what you want to focus on.
Tried this gym on a guest pass and was greeted with no sales pressure by manager named James. He gave us a tour and sat with us to discuss our long term goals. Told him we are getting married next year so he gave us a training session to see where we are at and what can help us. This was all done for free and not rushed. Explained that we were not making a decision at the moment and it was totally fine . Went home and called the manager and he simply sent us the email to join . This was a pressure free experience and not like any other gyms. Thank you !
This gym is okay oh, I must say it is always crowded and the last time I went which was yesterday a lot of the treadmills were not working and were waiting to be serviced. Also if you go here during the summer the place is very hot the air conditioning I guess maybe doesnt work properly or they just keep it at a very high temperature which makes it very uncomfortable to workout in at least for me.
I have been a member since it opened. My schedule does not always allow me to get to the gym as often as I should. Matt has been my trainer for over a year. He has a degree in kinesiology and utilizes it. He has taught me how to use machines and how to use them correctly. He has worked with me on my form so that I am actually using the correct muscles. I enjoy his knowledge and his sharing it with me. I greatly appreciate his value of my time as well. Matt has motivated me. He has made me feel confident on the side of the gym that I was truly afraid of. He customizes the workouts to each individual. Farmingville is lucky to have him and so am I.
No bumper plates, Smith machines are the worst, leg press machines poor quality and cant load more than 20 plates. Most of the accessory machines are poor quality as well. The Patchogue L.A fitness is so much better.
I just became a member. And like everything else LA has its pros and cons. Salesman were nice and helpful. But his manager tried lying to me about a so called non existent payment option that I knew was real just so he can get me to pay more. I called him out and he caved and I got what I wanted. Its a great looking gym dont get me wrong. Clean, no wait for any equipment and its nice and spaced out. Was hoping that Id be able to play more basketball but there is always a game going on unless I get here 30 minutes before they close. Golds in middle island is looking better.
This location of LAFITNESS is one of the best. Yes the wifi was down for a bit but this situation was out of their hands and it was also fixed. I do see constant cleaning and thats fantastic to see.
Husband and I went online to get a free pass. Arrived and no hassle activated to start workout in zumba class. Gym was clean and price to enroll was lower than others with a better range of options- classes all included which is why I joined. Filtered water throughout gym for free a good perk
The air conditioner is always on even during the fall and winter months; too cold. Mens shower area is lacking shower curtains.
Ive been working out with one of the trainers there named Matt. Hes great. Always changes up the routine and helps you target your problem areas...you can always count on results when training with him. Only gym I believe with its own training room. I love la fitness ..thanks matt for pushing me past my limits
Been going there a year now.. I use Matt now as my trainer . He is efficient , personable, timely and super helpful.The gym itself needslre cleaning , and organization of weights thriout the day, the front end staff , and cleaning staff need help.. But the personal training dept is on point...
All the machines function properly, there are plenty of spray bottles and paper towels to conveniently keep the machines clean. The spacing is also proper for social distancing.
Very disappointing to make this our home place of choice for a fitness center. Their employees are great, but they need more training! My buddy dropped the membership a few days ago, and now we are next if they don’t start fixing their issues. Their competitors are looking much better with each visit I have with La Fitness. The only reason why I stay is because of their Patchogue location
Matt Morris is an excellent trainer! He always pushes me and exceeds my expectations. He is always punctual and provides creative workouts based on client need. He is motivating and helped me regain muscle and endurance after a LONG break of not working out. I am thankful to have met him. I highly recommend Matt!

The Farmingville location is pretty new and is kept clean and in good repair. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a piece of equipment out of service. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a personal trainer, Matt, for several months as I have been struggling with those last 20 pounds I need to lose. He keeps me motivated and is an all around good guy to work out with.
This is the Nicest LA fitness I have been to on Long island. Its pretty new and has a great range of equipment. Compared to other LA locations on the island, this one is the cleanest.To the other reviewers, if you think this location is bad/unclean I wouldnt go to the other locations on Long island. You will see very quickly how clean this place is by comparison.

The wifi has been down for 5 days, the seated cable row machine has been out of service for over a month. Asked about the Wifi and claimed that it was disconnected by accident and they are working on it but its been 5 days.Farmingville location!
I’ve been training with my trainer Brittany C. For awhile now and i must say she is the best! She’s so motivated and i love that about her cause she motivates me more and more to go harder...my experience at La fitness has been nothing but positive! Love you Brit!! 💪🏽
Brittany is not only an amazing trainer, but also an amazing person over all. Whenever I am unable to make it in to the gym I can guarantee that Brittany will shoot me a text to make sure Im ok. During our sessions shes motivational as well as patient. I would recommend her to every and anyone.
I train with Brittany C. 2x a week for 3 weeks now and I already have had people compliment me on how toned and fit I look! I look foward to my sessions every time. This facility is usually the cleanest and everyone is very inviting and friendly :)

Great team working there , very pleasant experience joining up , sale guys broke everything down to me easy to understand no obligation and I was happy to sign up , beautiful fully equipped gyms , Im 40 yrs old and have been joining gyms and working out since I was 18 years old , this has have to be the most fully equipped gum I have ever seen in all of New York City , including a pool , for the price you just cant beat it . Id recommend this gym to anyone one out there from beginning to advance you cant go wrong , 2 thumbs up .
Its a new gym, so its pretty nice. I myself use the free weights section and it had a lot of equipment, so Im happy. Downsides are moldy shower curtains (!!), no sauna like at many other LAF locations, no Cafe, barbell weights could be organized a little better. Ill update the review of things change.
I’ve been a member since they first opened, great atmosphere and family friendly with a wide selection. If anybody is thinking of becoming a member, ask for Amir. He will get you the best price and give the best fitness advice. He has experience and knowledge in bodybuilding and will give you the tour of the gym before you sign up. Amir is very helpful and very kind.

After joining several gyms, the gym in farmingville, with my personal trainer Matt, has been my best experience up to date. He has accommodated me with my schedule, even though it has created conflicts in his own. He works me hard, I appreciate it. I look forward to working with him every time I come in!

I have been training with Matt M. for about six months Matt listen to my concerns and my limitations and he always plans a workout regimen for me that allows me to reach my goals. He is a very good listener.My husband sign me up for a 5K and Matt has been training me in a very short time he has accomplish my goal and pace time. I do say he accomplish because without him I will not have reached my goal and time. Matt is aware of my asthma and my injuries and he has worked with me to the point that I do not need my inhaler as much - he got my cardio and my breathing under control that each time I get further on my training. He is focus on my well being and he talks to me about how I can improve on my weakness, he also educated me on what to eat and he show me how to stretch before and after every run. I love that he always accommodates my session with my busy schedule, before I started working out with Matt I used to cancel or reschedule my sessions a lot but with Matt I truly look forward to going to the Gym and workout. I feel my workout session very rewarding and satisfying. I highly recommend him

Beautiful facility. Its a great place to work out regardless of your goals, lots of new equipment (weights, cardio machines, and pretty much everything you can think of) Also a nice pool, lots of classes, and more. Its always spotless, and they have an amazing staff. If you cant find what your looking for here, your doing something wrong.
I use this place for its personal training studio and dope trainers, these guys are pros. One does MMA training, the other comes from training at Syracuse, and one was recruited from south Florida- theyre all top notch legit trainers that actually want you to reach your goals.ASK FOR NICK, he runs the personal training department , and will hook you UP.I love the training and love the results.This place is one of the best gyms Ive been in in New England. The place is brand new, the staff are all awesome, and its spick and span. Clean as can be .

I love this gym, because personal trainers like Brittany Coral, she knows how to motivate and push youwhen you think you can’t go any further. First of all Brittany is a living example of being healthy and physically fit, she practices what she preaches. One of the most well equipped, cleanest gyms I have been to. More than enough equipment so your not waiting around, as well as a swimming pool, and a variety of classes. Very impressive.
I have been training with Matt since January of 2018. Not only is Matt an excellent trainer he has an extensive knowledge of the muscular-skeletal system, I feel this is mandatory knowledge for a trainer. I have been getting excellent results from the different training routines we have been using, as Matt said keep the body guessing. ALSO, from a visual perspective he LOOKS LIKE a trainer SHOULD look, at least you know he practices what he preaches and hes personally getting the results. I have recommended him to other prospective clients who want results.
They dont provide any wipes or sprays to wipe down anything, so everything is dirty. The dumbbells are never in order on the rack. Some of the ellipticals are wobbly and some dont even power on, but at least a third of the gym is cardio equipment so a few broken ones doesnt really matter. The lat pull down machine/ cable row occasionally has its handle missing, and the handles are located on the complete other side of the gym next to the other pulleys. No circular Olympic style weights for deadlifts, instead theyre hexagonal. So I you touch the weight to the floor on a deadlift and you land it on a point instead of a flat side, it will either launch away from you or into your shins. Everything else is mostly average. Pretty bad, especially for deadlifts, I still go regularly cause my friend has a membership, but if he didnt Id definitely try somewhere else.
This is my third time giving “gym life” a chance between 2017-2018 and I have to say that this is the last time I’m giving that phase a chance since it’s turned into a lifestyle. My third time giving the gym a chance, I was smart enough to realize that I needed the extra motivation and the expertise of someone who does personal training and I thank the universe for putting Brittany in my path. Brittany is more than just a trainer, she is a guide in the wonderful world of healthy eating and healthy thinking. Her instagram stories motivates me daily of my goals and of what I need to accomplish. The time I spend with her in the gym, she turns into the friend that everyone needs to remind them of where they want to be and honestly, I know that if I hadn’t had Brittany with me throughout this third ‘times-a-charm-for-the-gym-thing,’ I would’ve probably quit the gym months ago. If you want someone to help you on your parh to becoming a better you, I’d definitely recommend Britt.
Love this gym, they have almost everything. If they had a sauna Id say everything. If you need a trainer Brittany is top notch and will help you with everything from diet to exercise.
Dirty, unkempt, the staff ignores you the people who attend here sneak their friends in. Nobody reracks their weights or cleans up or wipes down the equipment. Urine all over the bathroom floor 9/10 times. Been here since it first opened and has only gotten worse. I would pay 3x more a month for a clean gym where the staff and patrons take care of the place and act like adult humans
Let me start by saying ... when I started at LA about 1 year ago I was just about 200lbs. I was scared to start a new journey of life but I did. I didn’t enjoy it much .. then I was introduced to Brittney C. And my world changed. She motivated me to be strong and learn to live healthy and be confident in my own self. She taught me to work in the gym to better myself . I’m always excited on training day to see what the time brings me. All I can say now is I’m down about 90lbs and have some muscles and I’m healthy healthy healthy all because of the love and care Brittany gave to me !! BIG SHOUT OUT !!!
The farmingville LA Fitness is a nice facility ... but what keeps me coming back through the doors is my personal trainer, MAtt. He is a great trainer who motivates and challenges me every session. Matt goes above and beyond for his clients ... I’d recommend him to anyone.
Brittney C has been my trainer for about six months. During that time, I have known Brittney to be professional, friendly and knowledgeable in her profession. She has adjusted my workouts to meet my needs, while keeping me motivated and on track to reach my ideal weight. Brittney has inspired me to continue to work out and to eat healthier.
With a variety of class times to choose from, scheduling is never an issue. The facility is clean, large viewing windows and doesn’t have that overwhelming gym smell. Would definitely recommend!
Brittany C changed my whole outlook on working out/my body image and self esteem. It was horrible. they had charge me for freezing an account after I canceled, honestly it’s totally ridiculous and say sorry I can’t drop the charge.. I will never be a member in any of LA fitness ever again!!! To make an account it’s easy.. to cancel it’s a totally nightmare. Manager have to be in the gym at normal work hours only. I had to pay $20 extra for absolutely nothing after canceling, totally unacceptable!!
Wow!!, I cant believe its been over a year and 3 months that Ive been training with Matt Morris, how time flies. Since the first session back in July of 2017, Matt and I have developed a relationship and we are a team with one goal, to get and stay strong and fit. The workouts have been difficultly challenging but rewarding and a true learning experience for me. Matts dedication and professionalism along with the complexity of his workouts make him an asset. North Ocean ave has turned out to be a mess.New club at first spotlessWeights were racked nEquipment was clean.Now no toliet tissue or had towels I come in at 6:30 pm after work.I am so tired of racking the guys weights sometimes3-4 45 lb plates. DB all over benches dirty.40.00 per mo for this.I should have stayed at the other gym it was the same way. Ugh disappointed.
I have being training with Brittany C for 4 months now and I have come so far with her help. She helps me with dieting and is always there to answer any questions I might have. She even sends me workouts to do when I am not with her which helps me out a lot. She always tells me what a great job I am doing and says that I have come along way and that means a lot to me and makes me feel good about myself to keep working out. Most well kept of the franchise that I’ve been to. Staff always greets you with a smile and makes you feel good. Imir, who is part of the sales staff, I’d always on the floor asking if all is ok with gym and if he can help with routine.

What a wonderful experience . Classes were awesome gym was so nice and clean . Staff was very nice and welcoming. No sauna which is one thing i love about the other locations but this is the best location by far !

I arrived here for a conditioning clinic with my wife. After a free trial I was convinced I would be here to change my lifestyle. Within 2 months I was able to lose 12 lbs and inches went also. Good gymnasium
Nice staff, great instructors, clean environment. Not too fond of layout of equipment and the fact that there is no sauna. Kids club staff actually interacts with the children.
I had been going to the Patchogue location but stopped using that facility because of the disgusting moldy showers slimy shower curtains, empty paper towel dispensers, and empty antibacterial dispensers just to name a few of many more reasons. I just started using the Farmingville facility and was very impressed at how much nicer this location is compared to Patchogue. My only complaint, and its a big issue for me, is that they never installed a sauna room..Big disappointment.

Well their policy is so disgusting…We have to pay an extra month at the beginning as the last month fee if we cancel the membership, which means we dont need to pay for the last month if we decide to cancel the account. But when I finally decided to cancel, I went there and they said their manager is not here and they cant cancel that for me. I called them the other day, NO were not canceling on phone. Until the billing day: you pay for the fee for this month then you get the original extra month, OR you cancel it and today is the last day.？？？？？？？？？？
Very aggressive to sign you up very limited in answering questions to classes and services.Ive been in a few big gyms in the past and this has the making Ballys. Hoard the people in and go belly up.Services like this need individual experience not a corral of the masses.I didnt see any sanatizers on the walls near equipment either.I will return to update this review. Im interested to know what all else goes on here.

All the weights are misplaced or missing and youre lucky if the fans are on because its mostly humid here and not very clean. barely any staff on the floor ever. decent place to work out but other LA centers give this place the feeling of being a cheap alternative even tho its the same across the board.

Just joined and the place is huge. This is a more recently constructed la fitness than other ones on long island. Theres a pool, a cycling room, tons of weights and equipment. Clean and a nice selection of classes.

One of the better LA Fits Ive been too. Only pet peeves of this place are the following- Dumbells are all over- No Sauna. Surprising since this place is so huge youd think theyd have it.- No protein shake place. The NrGize protein that are in others would make a killing in here. Again surprised there isnt one here.

It was better then the lake Grove LA who absolutly refused to supply a mask the 1 time my gym buddy forgot it. U mean you pay 45$ a day and 100$ a year and you cant help us out

Matt is the real deal. He gets to know you, your strengths and your opportunities, always has something positive to say, and pushes you past what you’d assume your limits were. His energy keeps you motivated and his personality keeps you engaged. He’s also really intelligent about his craft and you can tell he loves his work.

Welcome to the Igloo! Its 20 degrees outside and this place has the a/c on with Helicopter Propellers overhead that give such a draft that you are sure to get sick if you are able to sweat! wear 3 layers of shirts and a hoodie when you come to this place. I have caught a cold on 2 separate occasions from the lack of heat. I will cancelling this membership soon!
Gym is always clean, weights in proper places highly recommend
The place is new, opened in April 2017. Everything looked so nice in the first few weeks. But poor maintenance kicked in after that. Empty paper towel dispensers. Urinal out of order for 1 month. Often no toilet papers. Floor and equipment got greasy and smelly quickly.
Brittany is the best trainer! Her skills, motivation and over all personality truly keep me on track with my goals. I recommend her to all.

Great location. But seams a bit smaller than the Centereach location. Theres no sauna which is disappointing or juice bar.all the extra space was taken up by the new personal training section. Best bet is to still go to port jeff Patchogue or Centereach location.

Disappointed you decided to cut corners by not providing sauna, spa, and racketball. Members in ny get fewer services than the rest of the franchise but higher monthly dues. The farmingville facility is ok but lacking services force me elsewhere.

The gym its self is beautiful the staff in day care if horrible if my son wasnt old enough to care for himself I would NEVER let him go Into the daycare one day I get him and he had a fat lip and the girl was like oh they got I to a fight didnt even think to call me or put ice on my son when she was asked what happened she said she didnt see it another time my son had water when I picked him up the girl let him drink someone else water the staff is so horrible dont trust them with your child if they are young...
I’ve been going since January and it’s very clean and consistent. Definitely recommend going here.

I recently joined LA fitness in Farmingville and I absolutely love it the fitness trainers and all the employees are extremely friendly especially Alex and Amir I’d highly recommend going to them if you need training tips work exercises questions about honestly anything at the gym they’re amazing people Amir has personally worked out with me and he’s given me great tips definitely motivates me every time I walk it and he is super friendly
They have top of the line equipment and it wasnt crowded and the staff was very nice. I joined and I bring my son with me also. It is also very clean.

2021-10-22Love this LA fitness location and even though it’s farther than another one near me, I keep coming back to this one. It is bright and full of natural light and the staff does an amazing job keeping everything clean and organized.They have a zumba instructor Ana R. that is AMAZING!! The energy she brings to the table is unbelievable, her class really packs out and I am totally hooked! One thing I will say is missing from this location is the Sauna but oh well can’t have everything.

2022-06-09Easiest best place in town to get a membership. Offer a basketball court, very nice lockers, and a swimming pool. And then most important part their weights are immaculate. Not only do they have the most up to date equipment, but they have so much of each of them. Whatever you are wanting, I can guarantee you they have it. So you never have to worry about all of it being taken cause they just have so many. And the environment there is really good too. Everyone that goes there is there for serious business so you yourself will not want to slack off or get lazy. You’ll be motivated every day to work on yourself. I highly recommend a membership at this gym if you are stuck.

2021-12-26The gym overall is great but the basketball court is not properly maintained. The courts are consistently dusty and need to be Re polished to increase traction. It’s very a dangerous way to play. I hope they can do this soon because I do really like going to this gym but basketball is very important to me and a lot of people in this area.

2022-06-04So far so good. My wife and i just closed on our new home. One of the incentives is a 3 year membership. Scott and Jose help sign us up, navigate the app, and gave us a tour throughout the gym. The gym was clean. We look forward to working out in the gym.

2022-04-29I asked supervision and management about community ventures in relation to basketball training and members and I was told corporate wouldnt allow it. I also let them know I have a non profit.... and it would be a partnership. still never ever asked corporate. But some how corporate allowed the selling of memorabilia auction style....to be sold in there gyms. NOTHING TO DO WITH A GYM. Then once again a company selling juicing products. Whom which non of those people have memberships.... I found it interesting..... Well anyway, the bathrooms need updating and 7 to 10 machines need fixing for atleast 4 months now.
