Positive: The room was very nice & large. Negative: There was a hole in the cabinet in the bathroom & we were traveling with a cat & they climbed into the hole. Also there was major noise in the hallway on Saturday night starting around 11:30pm well into 1am Sunday morning. Finally security came up
This is the best Wyndham hotel that I have found in Batavia New York of the three that I have tried. It is clean has good appointments the staff are excellent parking is easy and getting on and off of I 90 was very practical. I would highly recommend this Wyndham chain over others in the same cluster of hotels.
Positive: perfect location for me. The front desk people were helpful. The bed was very comfortable Negative: I had the swipe the key numerous times to open the door to my room. The front desk person had to attempt the same 15-20 times before she could open it, which strongly suggests it was me.
My family had an excellent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham! The staff was very friendly and answered every question we had. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great. We went swimming in the pool, it was the perfect size for our boys, the had lots of fun. Its one of the nicest hotels weve ever stayed at. We definitely recommend this place!
Overall I am happy with my stay here at La Quinta in Batavia. Location is decent although our room was right next to the highway so there was quite a bit of traffic noise. We had an issue with our bill and Julie was very rude to us during every interaction. All of the other staff was amazing though so it made up for the one bad experience. There’s continental breakfast that was mediocre at best but still convenient. The rooms were super clean which is most important to me. Good for the price.
When we booked, we thought it was a bit pricey as it was more expensive than any other stare weve stayed in this trip, but out of all the other La Quinta, this one was the most accommodating, especially with pets. We came with 3 dogs and 2 cats and the staff doted on them, gave them treats even. It was definitely the best so far concerning pets. The rooms we got were spacious, as well, and the beds were comfy. We slept pretty well, except there was something in the rooms, maybe a cleaning product? That we reacted to, made us sneeze a lot. They also had a wider variety of sundries, including ice cream, than other La Quinta hotels that weve stayed in.
I have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill bad. Upon arrival, we were ignored as we are holding our bags while staff was getting ready to leave for the day. Then, the bed is hard as a rock. Worst nights sleep I have had in a long time. Then we are told at check-in that breakfast is served until 10. I got down there at 9:40 and its all cleaned up. The woman I asked said we were given the wrong time 😠.. I dont know where the noise was coming from all night but every 3 minutes there was Loyd thumping. Sitting here at almost 10 am and still going on. We come here once in a while for rest and respite from our extremely busy lives, I am not rested and Im incredibly annoyed. I dont think for 80 bucks Ill be returning. Many other options in the area.
Breakfast wasnt anything to brag about. The eggs looked and tasted like sponges and Im pretty sure the sausage wasnt actually sausage. They did have bananas and an assortment of cereal also available. Pool was perfect size for kids, which we definitely utilized as much as we could to make sure we got our moneys worth as we spent quite a bit for 3 nights. Other than that its just your typical hotel.
This hotel was so clean and well kept. Our room was also clean and inviting. My kids loved the pool as well. I would have given this hotel five stars if not for the person at the front desk. She was extremely rude and unfriendly from the moment I walked in the doors to check in. When youre tired from traveling, etc I think its important that the first person to greet you makes you feel welcome. This was just the opposite, as if simply checking in was a huge inconvenience. Not sure if we will stay again, simply because of that experience.
While moving across the country with my cats, I called at least five hotels in Buffalo who would only accept dogs. This hotel not only accepted cats, the very sweet front desk lady welcomed us with a snack for the kitties. She was a highlight of the visit for sure. Thank you!My room was comfortable. The pool was small but nice to access nonetheless. The bagged breakfast was nicer than at a different La Quinta i stayed the previous night (got to choose from a little menu of items). There was also a fridge / freezer with a lot of frozen meal options to purchase, which I didnt use but I thought it was a nice thing to have available. The hotel is quite close to a shopping area where I was able to quickly run a few errands and get carry-out, even while tired of navigating all day.I only give four stars because many staff I saw were being very lax with their masks. It is important to me to feel like COVID precautions are tight, especially indoors in a place where people are coming through from various cities and travels.
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!! From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, hands down the best hotel I have stayed at in a long time. Due to COVID, they had bag breakfasts in the morning and even they were wonderful. They even offered me a few hard-boiled eggs as they heard me tell my mom I wish there was more protein in the breakfast. I mean, every single person from top to bottom of that hotel needs a raise, a medal, something. The room was BEAUTIFUL, clean, current. Truly a pleasure to stay there.
Positive: Staff, room, tv, pool, breakfast Negative: Pool key doesnt work, have to ask clerk every time to reopen door I booked this thinking we were super close to casino, not shuttle. I paid premium and saw the same room advertised on another site for 30 dollars less.
This is a good hotel for a stop and go. It is right off the NYS Thruway and close to downtown where there are some good places to eat. They allow pets which is plus. The room was clean and comfortable which is the most important thing. I do recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stop over night.
Beds were comfy, room was clean, was a bit put off that you pay for breakfast to be included just to be told you have to turn a form in that they never gave. Also, the side door to the hotel is wide open so anyone possible can just walk right in and the front desk would never know. Not very secure feeling when you have kids.
Very nice place. Lisa was very hospitable and my dog loved her instantly with her bribes of milkbones!!! She should be in the PR department! She knows how to treat customers. She knew I was leaving early so she gave me a bag full of breakfast items he night before I never expected. I will always stay in that hotel if Im ever in that town again.
Spacious rooms, much larger than most hotels Ive stayed in. The color scheme is soft and soothing. Comfortable beds, very clean and spotless bathrooms. In room microwave and refrigerator, along with coffee pot. Free WiFi, free breakfast. Price is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel and try their other properties if one is available.
It was very clean, super quite! Not only did we have a dog with us, but so did our neighbor and we did not hear a peep from our neighbors and they didnt complain that our dogge would bark once in awhile when hed hear someone walking in the halls. 😅The bed was very clean, super comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
My husband and my stay started out the tv not working, I had to screw in connections, finally called down to desk. He told me to recheck connections..called him a gain, he came up and fixed it. Bathroom sink cracked, chunk of tile out of shower ,with a ad patch job on tub. There wasnt any continental breakfast or any room breakfast offered. Would not recommend. I have pictures to back up all claims. Will NOT Stay there again. Called desk twice to complain about kids jumping off beds and runningat 10:00 at night..called desk..stopped for 10 minutes..then resumd full force. Would not give us another room.
This La Quinta is conveniently located just off I90. The hotel looks modern and was probably remodeled or updated within the last 3 to 4 years. Our room was clean (very important), and the beds were in good shape (not worn out and make you feel like youre going to roll towards the middle). They offer the standard breakfast fare. Cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, toast, various muffins. We stayed on the top floor because we did not to deal with anyone with heavy heals in the room above.Overall it was a good experience, and well be back.
I stay at A LOT of hotels for work and I can honestly say this was an EXCELLENT experience! My room was extremely clean, the front desk was very helpful and pleasant, even when I checked in at 1AM. The breakfast has a large variety to choose from and the coffee was delicious! The location of the hotel is amazing for quick trips to Walmart, places for lunch, and Target. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner, who was very respectful and really made me feel welcomed. If work sends me to Batavia again, the only hotel I will be staying is here.
On third floor where we stayed, our room was modern and super clean. The bathroom looked like out of a home improvement remodel show. I had to adjust shower head to give a more powerful water blast. Beds were comfy. AC was cold. Front desk clerk was nice and helpful. We heard loud music. She helped investigate and we found it was the nearby casino having a show. Seems it ended by 10pm. Plus we travel with a white noise generator anyway. Yummy Golden Malted Waffle mix and makers for breakfast with OJ and coffee for us. Location convenient to turnpike. Small pool was nice. Target nearby. Id say the TV was a little small seeing how cheap TVs are now. Also oir cable cut out a couple times. TV guide wasnt very responsive.
GREAT Experience! We celebrated my daughters birthday over the weekend. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and convenient! The pool was perfect for the kids and the room was very spacious. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the kids had fun making their own waffles ;-) Everything was great and my daughter had a great weekend! Thanks so much! Would recommend highly. You will not be disappointed.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is SPOTLESS! That is hard to come by for a pet friendly hotel! My biggest complaint is that the walls seem to be paper thin. The people in the next room are talking and I can hear every word. Not a deal breaker but definitely annoying as we are an early to bed family.Unbeatable price and cleanliness!
Staying here for 6 days and nights while visiting family for Christmas. Our room is very clean, breakfast is great, the hallways, stairways, and elevator is very clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. The workout room is pretty updated, and the pool is also. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.
Hotel is clean and nicely finished :) staff members are friendly and helpful. The pool is clear and very well maintained. The rooms are priced good and the hotel was quiet. The family enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning that was more then enough food. We would stay here again.
Stained top blanket. Crumbs all over the couch. Looked like the rug was melted in a spot in front of the lounge area tv. The woman working at the front desk wasn’t very kind, acted like you were inconveniencing her just by checking in. Rooms arent very soundproof, could hear people across the hall opening and closing doors all night and people in the parking lot talking. Would not stay again
I have stayed here 2 times now in the past month. The first time I was beyond pleased which is why I came back. I’ve always been a fan of La Quinta and try to stay with them whenever possible. This hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. However upon my last stay the front desk receptionist was beyond rude and downright offensive. Upon checking in I had just traveled 18 hours and was exhausted. She was a bit short while I was checking in, confirming my reservation and when I wanted to bring up the fact I had a pet with me I got a glare in response. Ok whatever, I will let it go. I had the hotel room for 3 nights. Each day my room key would stop working around the same time in the afternoon. Annoying but nothing horrible. I’ve worked for a hotel in the past, front desk to be exact, and know these things happen. The last night of my stay this happens and I go to the front desk to have the issue resolved. The clerk is standing in the doorway off to the side, back facing the customer counter, having a conversation. I wait for about 5 minutes with my hands full, holding my dog, 4 months pregnant, without a single acknowledgement that I am there. Then I ring the bell on the counter in front of the glass separator that says “ring bell for service”. The look of hatred on this woman’s face as she turns around is enough to make anyone feel awful in itself. She then with enough attitude to last a lifetime says “I was standing right here” before glaring again. She didn’t ask what I needed so I offered the information myself. I’m exhausted, annoyed, and now feeling completely belittled by a woman who is supposed to be in the customer service industry. I tell her I need a new room key And give her the room number. The whole time the looks of disgust are radiating off of her. I accidentally give the wrong number, again I’m tired and pregnant and just overall out of it, and as I’m correcting myself she very rudely rolls her eyes, slams the card down on the desk and looks at me shaking her head. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a hotel ever. I am not a teenager, I am a 30 year old woman who has done a fair share of traveling in her life and I have NEVER been treated like this by a front desk attendant in my life. I got better service traveling alone in my teens then from this woman. On that alone, despite the fact that i was happy with the room and hotel itself, I will not be coming back here again. I have to travel back to Batavia in 2 weeks for another couple days and had figured I would just stay here, but I will be finding another place to stay for my trips from here on out. I spent way to much money to be treated that way and belittled and made upset for no reason then asking someone to do their job and help. I did not happen to catch her name as I just wanted out of there and to be away from the woman but she was a middle aged (35-45) year old woman with brunette short hair. If this is how your staff acts then even people like me who don’t write reviews and try to brush things like this off are going to be annoyed and turned off. If you would like to verify my stay or anything else with me, feel free.
This place was great! Its brand new. I enjoyed the conversation with the woman who checked me in. Thanks to her, I found out I could ask for extra blankets (I never knew that!). She hooked me up with extra blankets and I went to my room. The room was perfect; clean and well appointed.
The reason my family loves La Quinta is because they allow pets to stay for free. This location has comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. Breakfast was included and was the normal hotel variety of muffins, DIY waffles and fruit. We had no complaints. Would definitely stay again.
Stuck in the worst blizzard of the year, we ended up staying at this La Quinta Inn - it was easy to see from the road, had lots of parking, and they allow dogs. This hotel is newer and the room + bathroom was quite nice. The main entrance door was jammed so we had to open it manually, which is tricky when juggling luggage and a dog. We were surprised to hear that discounts were not allowed when the area was declared an emergency. The staff was not super friendly, but did answer some of our questions. This locations has a mini store in the main entrance, which is helpful when you are stranded and need toiletries or other essentials. They also sold drinks, ice cream, and had a freezer with foods you can buy and warm up in the microwave in your room (our room also had a small fridge). Breakfast was acceptable and there was free coffee, tea and lemon water. There was wi-Fi and the TV worked fine.
This hotel is located right off the highway and is very close to Walmart, Target and several other bog box stores. There are several restaurants in the area from fast food to casual dine in spots. The room was spotless and nicely decorated and included a microwave and fridge. The washroom was clean and modern looking. The breakfast offering was a decent spread toast, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. We will definitely be back again.
Best hotel Ive ever stayed in! Nice staff, good breakfast options, comfy beds and decent sized showers with closeable glass doors. Only complaints are the pool was extra chlorinated, no bath tubs and the lobby convenience store was overpriced. But theres a gas station next door, not sure if there was a vending machine in the hotel since they had the front lobby store with drinks, snacks and simple toiletries.
I spent the week in the area, and stayed 3 nights in another hotel, The room was 200$ a night for a basic room, with basic accommodations, and NO MICROWAVE. My last night in town I switched over and got a king suit from La Quinta, I could not be more pleased. It was cheaper for starters. And the room was awesome. One of the best hotel beds i have slept on! Little things made me really appreciate the room, strong wifi, quality shower products, modern clean design. The Spectrum cable package was exactly what I had at home, i was able to scroll through the guide, watch on demand, pause and rewind live TV. All around great. I spend a decent bit of time in the area and will no longer stay anywhere else.
We were traveling with two cats, so this hotel was a godsend. Pets stay for Free and its located very close to the interstate. The room was well decorated, modern, and comfortable. It came complete with a microbe and mini fridge. We were very happy with our La Quinta stay

2022-05-26We came to the area for a special event at a local church. The rooms here were very large, which is great from an accessibility standpoint. The pool was nice, if a tad small, with reasonable hours from 6 am to 10 pm. The breakfast was like most hotels, it had a reasonable amount of options and was kept fresh. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. We would stay here again.

2022-05-11Everyone here is very nice. The bed was heavenly and breakfast was very good. It was so wonderful as we had been in a Cruise America RV that was horrible. The hotel was immaculate and reasonable. Will stay in one again, for sure.

2022-06-10Stayed overnight for work and am highly impressed!! The fresh hot breakfast and coffee bar was great, the room is clean and spacious. The downsides- broken gym equipment, it appears only the treadmill worked. And obviously the noise being so close to the thruway but overall would definitely choose La Quinta hotel for a future stay!

2022-06-21What a nice hotel! If the vent/fan in the bathroom don’t sound like an airplane propeller spinning, they would have got5 stars. Breakfast ends a bit too early, in my opinion anyway.

2021-12-07This was our first time staying at a La Quinta, and our first time traveling in the U.S. since the COVID restrictions had eased. The booking process was quick and easy, the hotel was in a convenient location for us and easy to find - right off the highway. Our check-in was fast and the front desk staff were very helpful. The room was clean, and we had everything we needed for a great overnight stay. Inside the hotel, it was quiet all night, but there was a fair bit of noise from the highway all night long - to be expected given the location. All in all, we were very pleased and would consider La Quinta again in the future.

2022-01-29When I checked in the staff was friendly. At first glance the property looked fairly clean. However, when I arrived in my room, I discovered hair in the bed that looked like dog hair. There were pubic hairs in the shower. The breakfast was horrible. There were no drinks, the breakfast meat tasted awful. Very disappointing stay, and will not return to this hotel.

2022-02-01The receptionist was very friendly. The hotel is extremely neat, clean and cozy. Even though it is located neaby the free way, we did not hear any noise at all. It is for sure one of my favorite hotels.

2022-03-17Absolutely the nicest place to stay at, I found it very clean and comfortable. The room had a fain sound of the traffic from the surrounding roads but other than that being the only minor bad thing, I would definitely stay there again. They have a store area inside, with tv dinners and all the things you may has forgotten from home in case you need it.Location was great, Walmart, stores, restaurants, like Alexs steak restaurant, Batavia Downs track, Hotel and Casino are close by.

2022-01-08Let me start by saying the first time I stayed here with my daughters I was giving them the benefit of the doubt the second time, both times were horrible. The first time, we had been in the car for 11 hours, the front desk receptionist was rude, not compassionate and didn’t seem to care. The room was okay, normal double queen bed, seemed clean. Now let me tell you about the second time we stayed there with our dogs. We reserved the room at least three weeks prior to even staying, we reserved the deluxe double queen bed room because it would accommodate myself, husband, daughter and our two dogs. We arrive at the hotel expecting to get in the room and relax before our drive the next day, mind you I called the hotel while driving asking about the early check in policy and not once did they mention to me the room WE had reserved for that night wasn’t available because another customer staying in that room had extended their stay, so we get to the hotel and they can’t figure out what to do, they had to put us in a king deluxe room on the second floor. On top of the whole thing, I explained that I needed to change the card for payment that I used for reserving the room, yet the front desk receptionist ran the card anyway even after I told her she couldn’t use it. The only good thing that came out of it was they gave us the room for a cheaper price for THEIR screw up, but we shouldn’t have had to wait around waiting for them to figure out what to do for my family because someone else wanted to extend their stay when someone else had it reserved. I’d be very careful when reserving a room here because you won’t know if you’ll actually get to stay there because they apparently don’t keep track of reservations.
