The store, sales person, and experience was so easy. I LOVE the couch. The color, the comfort, and the beauty of the couch, are impressive. I am very happy. The only down side was the delivery. It didn’t go as planned. They couldn’t get the legs off, to fit part of the couch in. I had to refuse the piece. I still have not gotten it. When I asked them to put the old couch down the block, in the assigned area by my co-op, they said, “We are not supposed to do that. It’s a liability. However, we take tips.”
My salesperson Jalvanni was friendly as well as knowledgeable. She showed me where to find the recliner I was interested in and said she would be back soon. I value that. It’s not hovering like salespeople often do. I’m very pleased with the chair I purchased and would happily recommend LazBoy and Jalvanni. Karen
My wife and I had a tremendous experience working with La-Z-Boy in search for a new sofa. We did our own due diligence online then got a sales designer to help us in store. She was extremely helpful and when she was not able to get a particular swatch sent to us from the factory (for comparison in home, she sent us a store swatch directly. This is service above and beyond what we could ever have hoped form. Quality furniture, good pricing/financing terms, and GREAT service! We are customers for life.
Such a great experience! We went into the Hartsdale Lazy-Boy hoping to find a chair that reclines, reminding each other to tell any salesperson, “We’re just looking.” And Dana- who was fabulous - let us look! Later, we did have questions and Dana answered all of them. She helped us coordinate a chair and a sofa with an existing piece, made wonderful suggestions to finish the ensemble, and explained everything perfectly. The store was offering 30% off all inventory which was an added incentive. A successful trip!
We needed help getting a chair quickly for someone recovering from surgery. George made it a priority, searched stock and provided options until he found a great solution that we could have delivered in 4 days. He made sure we had the best options and we were able to arrange the sale and delivery over the phone and text in just an hour. Very much appreciated.
I called the store and had a wonderful conversation with a kind, friendly and knowledgeable salesperson. I asked for her name so that we could meet her and potentially but new loveseats. We went in yesterday and had an amazing experience with her. Jaivanni was more fabulous in person! I don’t think I have ever had a better furniture shopping experience! Thank you!
Overall, I am extremely pleased with my LAZYBOY furniture buying experience! The product is beautiful, extremely comfortable and very well made ( my last set lasted 30+ years ). Furniture delivery was fabulous - their team was timely, respectful and very accommodating. Sales, support and delivery coordination were all top notch as well. My only disappointment was that the advertised financing option was a credit card. I would have loved a direct payment option.
I worked with the interior design Dana and she was beyond amazing! My fiancé and I came in to buy a chair for our living room and she gave us a whole tour of the showroom and even showed us on the computer what the chair would look like in each fabric. We ended up purchasing a velvet chair that we are super excited about. Amazing customer service! We will definitely be coming back to buy in the future.
Jaivanni, Sales Associate at LazyBoy on Central Avenue Hartsdale, NY, is the absolute best! She has a great personality, professional, accommodating and knows everything about the store, products, delivery, etc…., I purchased 2 sectional sofas and each time everything went smooth. The quality of the sofas is great. Very comfortable. If you want a great experience and great furniture go to LazyBoy and ask for Jaivanni!
Very pleasant experience, likely due to the lovely showroom and absolutely perfect sales woman, Jaivanni Warden, who assisted us. She was not pushy in any way, made us feel extremely comfortable, showed us the items we came to look for and allowed us the time and space to think and discuss without hovering. Truly, she is the reason our experience was just perfect! The furniture we selected was beautiful, great choices of fabrics and again, our sales woman extremely helpful, had a good eye for color and selection. We knew of someone who already had the chair we bought and were very happy with it so we bought the same one. We shopped in the Central Ave store in Hartsdale NY.
We received the finest professional help from Jaivanni! She was highly knowledgeable, most pleasant to deal with and efficient in helping us with our choose of the Harbor Town rocker. She gave us the information we needed and then gave us the space to consider what we wanted to purchase. Her calm and respectful demeanor made this an enjoyable experience removing the stress and anxiety that generally accompanies a major purchase.
We had a most positive experience at Laz-y-Boy. The young lady was both knowledgeable and professional. Very attentive and helpful to us. We purchased an expensive recliner with a 30% discount. Plus, of course, the delivery charge ($99)--way too high. And the usual sales tax. A positive experience.
I had a La-Z-Boy sofa for the past 15 years and it was time for a new one. I went to this store and the sales rep was helpful in giving me some options to consider. What he showed me was nice but I didnt find anything in particular that stood out. From the options I narrowed down the manual was more cost effective but I wanted an automatic control option. Long story short I wanted to negotiate with the rep and his manager and they didnt want to budge. I really had no intention to go to another store I left and went to Raymour & Flanigan. I found more options in color and style and the price for an electronically controlled sofa was the same price as the manual controlled Lay-Z-Boy option. I have nothing negative to say about Lay-Z-Boy however I feel the rep and manager shouldnt have let me leave without making a deal. I guess you didnt want my money and continued brand loyalty.
When we walked into the store we had done our research. George Ferreira (our salesperson) went right to work assisting my spouse and I. He is extremely knowledgeable, and was able to guide us towards a decision on fabric and pattern immediately. We were in and out in less than a half hour, actually more like 20 minutes.That being said, I am a little disappointed with the website. First, I registered and was hoping Id be able input my order or sales number so I can track the custom piece being manufactured for us. Second, I was happy to see an additional 5% has been added to the Predidents Day sale. I reached out to George to ask that be applied. He came back to me with a response from management saying its only for certain items. Ive asked what he can do for us and he said hell attempt to provide us the enhanced discount.My disappointment is not with his service, knowledge of the product nor the way he assisted us. As I mentioned, it was a wonderful customer experience.My issue is with what seems to be a deceptive claim on the website that says 35% off on everything and the lack of communication from management to its field salespeople (George seemed unaware of the change).Otherwise, thank you!
Thank you. The Sales Reps are excellent. The big problem is the infrastructure is deteriorating.The factory repair department does not answer emails and does not communicate where your orders are located and when you will get your delivery. They leave the Reps in Limbo.This is particularly evident after you have paid for your order. So far, very disappointed- Stay Tuned…
My husband and I walked into la-z-boy to see our options on buying a new sectional sofa ( as we had gone into a few other stores and was very disappointed with not only the furniture but the customer service as well)Well the sweetest young lady (salesperson) Jaivanni, came over to us without any hesitation and assisted us in making a decision on purchasing a new sofa. She was vey polite and professional and very informative on what we were looking for. Long story short, we purchased a new sectional sofa. Thanks to Jaivanni for all her knowledge and help in assisting my husband and I.I highly recommend La-Z-boy furniture store ( central ave Hartsdale NY) the salespeople are professional and Courteous and they take the time to answer all your questions and then very great in helping to make the decisions
I dont get it???? Manual recliners, no swivel, no rocker almost 2k??? Never had lazyboy in my house as a youth so I dont understand. Can purchase 3 recliners from Home Goods for same price. 3 stars for the recliners for 2 people. WOW. If you have a man cave, definitely a must have piece, if you have the room. Also available in sleepers
The store is layed out very tastefully, and was a pleasure to shop in. The salesperson who helped me was personable and well informed...and not at all pressuring. He organized information for me to take home that was extremely helpful. When I called to place an order, the same salesperson was able to help, and made my experience easy. During the time of Covid, everyone was wearing masks and following safety guidelines. I highly recommend this La-z-boy.
We did a consultation with Megan and Jeremy. They knew exactly what we wanted and were extremely knowledgeable about the many customization options. There was no pressure to buy and I felt like we were in great hands. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for furniture.
Customer service was really good. But I was disappointed with having to pay a delivery fee to the place of purchase. Usually places charge you a delivery fee from place of purchase to your home. Lazy Boy was charging a $40 delivery fee to the Hartsdale location and $100 to be delivered to my house. For the price of their furniture they could have waived the delivery fee.
My in-laws were moving into a new apartment & needed new furniture. The first time I went to the Hartsdale LaZBoy store, I purchased a sofa. Then I went back and purchased a recliner & kitchen table. The final piece I bought was a lift chair. Each purchase was handled by Jaivanni Warden - she is the best!!!
I had the best salesman at Hartsdsle Lazy boy. Yves was such a pleasure to deal with. Professional, no pressure, sincere. Yves gave me his full attention and gave me a deal that I could not refuse. He went over all the details of my sale in a way I have never experienced with any salesperson. He even pointed out that I have 3 days to cancel my order! What a credit to Lazy Boy he is! He has reinforced my loyalty to Lazy boy. I just hope that I outlive my beautiful selections. But at 68 years, I doubt that! Lazy boy furniture is the best and the service I received from Yves was outstanding. I wish him and his family all good things💞💞💞👍👍👍😷😷😷🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Extremely disappointing , Purchased in August as of December 16 still have not received my order. Was promised the latest delivery would be three months. They remove the hundred dollar delivery fee. But when I spoke to A sales person he promised a further discount due to the delay. When I spoke to him later he totally forgot that he promised me a discount. I would not order any furniture from lazy boy in white plains anymore
Stan, my Sales Represenative, was absolutely delightful. He warmly greeted me when I walked through the door, and was professional, attentive, and, considering I pulled at least more than a dozen fabric samples that he had to sort and return to their proper places, and walked him back and forth across the store countless times, and kept second guessing my choices, he was incredibly patient with me. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about the company and the product, and I ended up purchasing a couch and chair when I only intended to ‘look’ when I came in.As for the Company, a huge selling point for me is not only that the quality of the materials and the workmanship is excellent, but it’s AMERICAN made. And satisfaction is guaranteed.I’m very much looking forward to receiving and enjoying my furniture.
Loved my experience at Hartsdale La-Z-Boy. They had the perfect recliner sofa that I had been looking for. The best part was being able to customize it any way I wanted it... manual or power recliner, firm or soft cushion, tons of color options . Got just what I wanted at a cost that was affordable. Highly recommend this location and our salesman George!
Jaivanni was excellent. She was personable, she understood what I was looking for and showed all the different styles of sofa beds to me, along with the different mattresses that were available. She answered questions that I had promptly and if she didnt know the answer she asked another sales representative. As an Administrative Asst. for 35 years, it is the initiative to find the answer to something that you may not know to better serve your customer.
Was looking for a high quality leather sleeper sofa. I did not like what I saw at other stores. Lazy Boy had exactly what I was looking for and at a price that beat major competitors. Jaivanni, my salesperson, was fantastic and made the shopping experience pleasurable.
My experience was quite excellent. The sales associate, Ms. E. Xhelilaj is quite knowledgeable about her subject ( namely Lazy Boy chairs) She explained everything in detail. and did not hesitate to repeat herself if needed. Would recommend Lazy Boy Hartsdale to everyone.
Stan was very helpful and just an all around nice guy to do business with. Left me time to look around on my own but always made me feel he wasn’t far away if I had questions. Genuinely seemed happy to see me when I came back to return the upholstery samples. Good selection of sofas, chairs etc. with good prices and good quality but not so many choices that you get overwhelmed with too many options. I would go back again.
We ordered the chair in Sept and were told it would be ready by Dec.. we never heard from La-Z-Boy to tell us when delivery would be. By mid Dec we called to ask about our chair on Jan 5th we were notified that the balance was due, and we need to set up a del. date we went to store to pay bal. on Jan 6th and set up the date, we had the date of Jan 12th. And we waited that day for del between 9am and noon and the chair never showed up they had reached out to us on the cell phone which I dont check or carry on my person when in the house when we paid the bal I asked that they please call the house number which I had given them. I saw a missed call on cell phone and called it as I didnt recognize and was hesitant to call it, was told the chair had something broken on it and they ordered the part and that it would come in two weeks we never heard back if the chair was fixed and ready for delivery after the two weeks we called again in Feb to inquire about the status and were told they would get back to us. We never heard from them called again and said they would call back after the talk to the warehouse. We set up the delivery date of Mar 5th and chair was del.! No one from the store got in touch with us to explain or tell us the chair was broken or try and help resolve the issue. When we did speak to someone in the store they told us they would credit our account the del. charge! We paid cash for the chair which was our big mistake. But someone should have been on top of this. Customer Service!! We have brought from La-Z-Boy before and never had a problem. Very disappointed in the service we received or didnt!! P.S. we still didnt get the credit
My husband and I went to the La-Z-Boy showroom looking for a new arm chair. We had been to a few other furniture stores before arriving and we loved the selection La-Z-Boy had to offer. We decided to purchase with La-Z-Boy because of the quality and selection they offered. The thing that really sealed the deal was the most amazing salesman, Stan. He was the absolute best!! He was so knowledgeable of the products and made sure we were educated about everything they had to offer. He was friendly and caring and it felt like we were shopping with family. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Stan. Anybody that is looking for an enjoyable shopping experience should work with him. We look forward to purchasing future pieces with Stan!
I just bought a complete living room from Lazy-Boy and it was a wonderful experience. The salespeople were patient and not pushy. We have bought furniture from the company before and have been very happy with the quality and value. One of the high points of the experience was working with the free decorating service. We can’t say enough about our decorator, Dana, in the Hartsdale, NY store. She created a vision that transformed the space. We can’t recommend Dana or this store enough!
From the moment we walked into the store, we felt at ease. Stan is salesman who greeted us and cared for us through the entire process. He didn’t pressure us, he answered all questions and helped us find the perfect furniture. We are returning customers of La-z-boy. Their furniture lasts a very long time. We shopped at the Hartsdale NY store. I recommend their products to everyone.
The clerk was very helpful in taking us around to try out quite a few recliners. I had a specific one in mind and he helped me make a great choice. I am very happy with my purchase and know that I have a great recliner. Lazy Boy lives up to its name and stands by its products.
I ordered a pinnacle recliner and a parsons coffee table on the 3rd of February 2016. The sales associates were great. They were very polite and knowledgable. There were two sales associates that helped me in particular. Jaivanni Warden and another person whose name I dont recall. They were excellent. The furniture is high quality and worth the price. I would definitely shop here again. Great job.
The salesperson, Jaivanni was very patient with all my questions and answered each one knowledgeably. There were tons of choices and I was able to sort through quite a few with her help and professional insights. Everyone wore masks and hand sanitizers were available, too.
It was my first visit and I had a nice experience. The store has a large selection to choose from as well as colors. The young man who greeted us was very knowledgeable and was able to adequately answer our questions. Upon making my final decision I look forward to purchasing my choice of furniture from them.
I have to say it is sad that I have to write this bad review since 2 years ago, I had a great experience there. This time, not so much. My gf and I went in on labor day to purchase several items. They are great at allowing you to customize your furniture, but beware if you do! Fyi, I have not received the furniture yet, which is not the problem. Here are the issues: as I was reviewing the bill, I noticed that the sales tax just wasnt adding up- it seemed much higher. (Im in finance, and look at numbers all the time) it was closing time, and the reps were rushing me out after I just spent thousands. They couldnt explain the excessive tax and didnt care too. I called corporate the next day and was directed back to the clowns at the store. A rep looked at my bill and finally agreed I was right , had no idea how it happened, and issued me a manual credit for the approximate overage. How many times has this happened to others ? Ok, so fine I was ok with that outcome. HOWEVER, last night after receiving a flyer which showed a new sale and one of my same couches was being advertised much cheaper. My receipt said they will price match within 30 days so I went in. Upon speaking to a rep, I was told that i already had the best deal and since I had ordered custom fabric there was nothing I could do. Now here is the big problem: the floor model had the color and fabric that I wanted originally, however on the evening of the purchase, I was told that fabric was no longer available nor did it have I clean. He directed me over to the custom fabric section and said maybe theres something similar. I found something that was a similar shade and had i clean. This caused the order to be much more expensive. Seemingly this was fine, however when speaking with the rep last night, he I formed me that the fabric on the floor model that I had really liked, was indeed still available, was also I clean, AND was MUCH cheaper as it was not a custom order! So according to the rep, there must have been a misunderstanding on the 1st rep s part. I told him, that I wouldnt have selected a nearly identical (but less preferable) and far more expensive fabric, if I was properly informed upfront. He then said that it was too late to change my order as it was a custom order. I am highly disappointed with this place, and if anyone buys here, make sure you check the taxes, and think twice about a custom order. This deception is unacceptable.
I just purchased a few pieces from the store located in Central Park Avenue Yonkers and the customer service was Outstanding! She was patient and explained everything. I didn’t feel like I was being sold or pressured at all. She was honest and intuitive. This made it easy to pick and choose where to invest my money! Thank you Erjona, you were not only professional but your calm demeanor was a pleasure! I didn’t give it a five because I want to see how the delivery process will be. Fingers crossed!
I absolutely love my couch but the customer service was terrible. I was told I would get a call in 4-6 weeks to schedule a delivery. I had to call them at the 6th week and then someone got back to me two days later with a specific date. When that specific date came and went I called back. That’s when the delivery was scheduled. You would think with all that money Lazy Boy couches cost, the customer service would be better. Once my credit card was charged the customer service stopped there.
I had fallen in love with the Alexandria sofa online when shopping for a more contemporary-looking sofa to replace our bulky sofa of many years. I searched many sites, but found this sofa to have everything I wanted: style, clean lines, comfort, and the right size for our space. We live in Manhattan, where there are no La-Z-Boy stores, so we traveled to the Hartsdale store by train to see it. I saw the Alexandria sofa as soon as I walked in, and it is just as gorgeous in person as it is on the website. Erjona, our Sales Associate, approached us and asked if she could help us. We told her of our interest in the sofa and she gave us all the specifics about it, answered all of our questions, and allowed us to browse through the fabrics by ourselves. I find sales people who never leave you alone to be annoying, and Erjona was there when we needed her, and left us alone to discuss our options. She is terrific! In the end, we purchased our dream sofa, and we are so excited about having it in our home soon. I highly recommend the Hartsdale La-Z-Boy store and Erjona. Also, thanks to the young woman, an employee at the store, who gave us walking directions back to the Hartsdale train station. We got there in no time!
The atmosphere was friendly.Jeremy, the salesman was very friendly & not pushy at all. He was very helpful to my needs. Any questions that I had after my purchase, he was available. I would recommend anyone to go there & seek out JEREMY to help you.You won’t be disappointed !!

Looking for a new Sofa at La-Z-Boy in Hartsdale NY and was surprised to find so many comfortable designs to choose from. Sales associate Jaivanni Warden let us browse leisurely and she was completely knowledgeable of fabrics, options and pricing. Purchased a Makenna Reclining sofa and Cocktail table at significant discounts. Cant wait for our custom sofa to arrive. Very enjoyable shopping experience. Thanks La-Z-Boy.
After sitting in many showroom sofas I picked one that suited me - I am fairly tall and I was happy to pick a nice sofa for comfort. I had to pay 50% up front and after they put it through on my credit card - I found out that deposits are non refundable - but I did want the sofa so that really did not matter. The sofa was delivered and I noticed something odd about it - the back cushions that are attached to the sofa were super large and puffy compared to the showroom sofa and the comfort of sitting on new sofa was not good for me. I complained and got some royal nonsense from service - I said I would accept the showroom sofa as an exchange. I have left messages and no one responds. I was at the store yesterday - no manager on site, sales person not in so I will call again - I am feeling that they hope that I will give up and go away. I am mad now and I want the sofa out of my home and my money refunded.
I purchased a leather reclining couch on June 1 and was told it would take 6-8 weeks. I ordered one of the two stock colors because a custom color would take longer and cost more. When I didnt hear from LaZboy after 7 weeks, I contacted the staff at the store and I was given a delivery date of August 20 (11 1/2 weeks). I was told the manager was unavailable. After 8 weeks, I followed up with a manager, explained to him that I was given a delivery date of August 20 and expressed my frustration to him. I was told there was no record in the computer system of who I spoke with and that he had no anticipated delivery date. He emailed dealer sales and the email response stated the unit is scheduled to ship on August 8. I contacted him again and really had to press him to clarify what a shipping date of August 8 translates to in terms of a delivery date. I was told a few days. When I followed up a week later, I was told the manager was unavailable and the computer system was down. I was promised a call back but did not receive one. I contacted another manager who stated that I should now pay the balance in full so we could schedule a delivery in two weeks. The shipping in my case will take another 15 days minimum to move the unit from Delaware? to NY. The current estimated delivery date is August 23 if I pay the balance in full now. So I am supposed to pay the balance (for a product that I am told is somewhere in transit) to a company that has mislead me since I walked through the door.
Lazy-boy is over priced and no serviceI needed a chair for my mom with shoulder surgery, was promised 4-6 weeks . They said if I signed a waver... not to cancel, they would build it ASAP. Going on 10 weeks and not sure if it will be here before she doesn’t need it anymore.All they do is send emails to Mgr’s and lie about when it’s coming. Finally talked to corporate office and she did nothing for meCould not even arrange a similar chair to use like a floor model . I am so mad ... I will never shop with them again.I hope if your reading this you go elsewhere and tell your friends. They have no way to track the furniture .... like if it’s built or if it shippedLies lies lies
Our first visit to LaZboy and we bought a beautiful, comfortable loveseat recliner thanks to the help of our wonderful salesperson Jaivanni Warden. Jaivanni was so professional, well informed and had a calm friendly personality. She patiently guided us to making the right decision. The store itself was spacious and well organized. Altogether a great experience. Very happy.
I worked with a gentleman named Stan Goldstein at the Central Ave, Hartsdale NY store. I love this guy. He was very patient with my indecisiveness at picking out a recliner. He did not rush or intimidate me in my decision. He even advised me that I had 3 days to change my mind about the color, which I did. We were able to schedule a free in-home appointment with Dana who proved to be knowledgeable and extremely helpful in our selection process. After 10 years of use, I chose to buy a new la-z-boy recliner. The old one was working great but wanted a leather power recliner. The Hartsdale store was great and the sales manager George was helpful. The selection blew me away and the price was worth what I purchased. After 3 months of use I still love my newer la-z-boy recliner. This is the only brand for me or the only kind I Will ever purchase. Thanks.
The people were kind to my mom and took great pains to help her. She got the chair she wanted on sale, is very comfortable and happy with it and it is built well, guaranteed and very supportive for her back, which she likes. Further, the chair replaced a chair she bought from Amazon which fell apart quickly and, even with replacement parts which took weeks to get from the manufacturer, still did not work. The chair is smaller but better, and far more comfortable. Thanks for helping my mother. She is in her 80s and needs this.
Not satisfied!Delivery was outsourced without notification. No control. False information. Delivery was five hours late before we received a call about time delivery would take place. Finally cancelled purchase & told manager of Hartsdale store not to deliver.Charge to my credit card was cancelled the following day.La-z-boy can not stay in business with haphazard service.Product & service must go hand in hand.We don’t have time for nonsense.SS
Extremely poor and frustrating service. Order was placed at price decided in july first week. The order was suppose to be delivered this week, all of sudden the sofa is now stuck in inspection, no answer about what has happened and where the sofa is. So not they are delivering a brand new sofa which is already damaged by LazyBoy and no clue and answer given after multiple phone calls as to what is happening. Issue 2- they forget to load a piece of furniture despite us reminding the transport company lady who loads the truck that there are 2 pieces of the furniture and now the second piece is missing, no one knows where it is and what happened. For full payment they call 4 times, after making payment, no further follow up.Most disappointing experience.Also what we were explained by treating fabric to make it like i clean is not what has been delivered. very poor serviceNever go to Lazyboy!!! Never to Hartsdale store!!!

Staff at La-Z-Boy were all cordial and friendly without begin over bearing. Everyone I came in contact with was knowledgeable about their products. I was given the opportunity to narrow down my choices based on my expressed areas of interest. Selections and fabrics were multiple and varied.I appreciated the time and expertise the staff extended, particularly from the store manager, Jeremy Artman.
Really awful return policy as in, 99% of the time there are no returns accepted because simply choosing one of their standard fabric choices renders the item a custom order. Wont be an issue if you like what you order, but if there is any problem you are entirely at the mercy of however the store chooses to deal with it.
My 82 year old mother ordered a custom chaise lounge from La-Z-Boy and upon arrival the arm was on the wrong side of the lounge. The specific lounge was chosen online in store and was supposed to be just as shown in the picture, with a left arm. The sales woman specifically asked us what side and we stated the left side, as shown in the picture that she printed for us. The sales woman entered the information incorrectly causing us to receive a lounge with the arm placed on the right side. When we went back to the store to discuss the matter, we waited to speak to a manager for a long period of time. Once the manager arrived, he told us he was unable to help us and that we needed to talk to a different manager named Leo. After leaving our information and being told the manager would contact us that same day, we never received a call back. We called the store back to speak with Leo, and he told us that we signed the paper and that there was nothing they could do to fix the situation. The store is now refusing to fix their employees error, and my mother is now stuck with a very pricey, nonfunctional lounge that was incorrectly ordered by a store employee. I would not recommend doing business with this store due to the poor customer service we have recieved.
All is quite satisfactory with the exception of the delivery. The men were cautioned to leave the old chair at the curb, but instead they left the chair in nearby bushes. This angered the custodial staff of this apartment building making extra work for them. I was the one who sustained their anger. Nevertheless, I am quite pleased with the chair itself.
Very attentive and supportive staff since they are not under individual commission. The experience was unhurried and without pressure. The chair took 4 weeks to be custom made and came in damaged. Now waiting for the replacement. Hope to update this review when it is delivered.

My experience in the store the salesman was knowledgeable and helpful I paid for the chair but because they they couldnt get me the chair for several weeks I decided to go to a store in New Jersey which had the chair available and was able to get me the chair considerably sooner because I had paid in New York there was a difference of over $800 the sales man spoke to the management in the New York store to advise them they had to return apportion of the money back to my credit card yet they failed to return the balance to my credit card it has been 3 weeks now and they still have not returned my money the chair was delivered promptly from the New Jersey store I found them to be knowledgeable extremely helpful and I am extremely disappointed with the New York store for which I dealt with for being so lackadaisical about returning my money I am a man with health problems and retired now I have to travel to the store to try to resolve this situation which I find unacceptable they had no problem taking my money but now they seem to have a problem with prorating my bill my name is Henry Robinson and I really hope that this can be resolved quickly I find it extremely aggravating and disconcerting to say the least

He answered all of our questions and he knew everything about every item we asked about and gave his honest opinion. The store had a lot of options and we were very happy with our experience. The furniture was well displayed and accessible.Our salesperson answered all our questions.The prices were higher than I had seen on line but that was a different sale and we picked a different, larger chair.We were able to take swatches home which was so helpful in the final color selection.This is our 2nd lazy boy chair . They are very reliable.

2022-02-23Throughout the experience from the moment we enter the showroom the sales woman was exemplary. My reason for coming to this showroom was to purchase a new recliner. Sounds simple not quite. I needed a chair that was sturdy, not a rocker and one that would allow my feet to reach the floor. She was understanding, patient and showed me just about every recliner that would adhere to my specifications. The one I chose was similar to a blue one but I dud not want blue instead she found a patterned grey that is beautiful. The chair is perfect and for the first time I did not have any pain in my back when getting up from the chair. Going through the process from start to finish including pricing was done professionally and with understanding . My only complaint is that it’s going to take four to seven months to be delivered. 2022-02-09The quality of delivery people and customer care staff is terrible. First sofa had to go back because delivery man had on so much cologne that the sofa stank. The second was delivered four months later and obviously there is no quality control in the factory. Pillows are uneven. They sent a person five weeks later who did nothing, said he could not fix stuffing, they ordered “replacement stuffing” and have to wait another five weeks for the same guy to come. He probably will do nothing again. DO NOT waste your money or your time, go somewhere else.

2021-10-03La.Z Boy is the absolute best home furnishings store. The selection is phenomenal but more importantly the quality is five star plus. The sales staff at the Hartsdale store are not only knowledgeable but very nice to do business with. They are patient, will answer all your questions with no attitude and knows each product in the store. Very helpful and definitely not pushy. James is the best. Appreciate all of the staff that helped me. Great place.
