Really nice time, we were greeted immediately by a very friendly gentleman and shown to a table. We ordered a few appitizers and entrees Tish had seen a dish on Instagram but was told its actually not on the menu. Our friendly gentleman returned and informed Tish they had one of the meal she had seen available and he was going to give it to her. Appitizers delicious and then the entrees arrived My Shwarma was very good Lora enjoyed her Stuffed Cabbage from Grandmas Kitchen but Tish she hit the jackpot, her meal was amazing in presentation and flavor, we all tried a piece and aggred it should be on the menu which we of course let them know and our friendly gentleman told us it was being added. Great meal great service and even though we were outside with the heaters great atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit.
We were there on Eid day the food was ok I ordered the mix grill very small Portion the food was cold and very Expensive Compare to other restaurant I’ve been to. bathrooms was not clean and they charge more if you pay by credit card. If you happen to be in Brooklyn there is so many better restaurants than this one. It’s not worth the trip.
My son and I were both hungry and we were about to enter a diner. As I approached the outdoor shopping strip to get there, I noticed Laila Restaurant. I always like for my children to try cuisine from other countries, so I decided at the last moment to visit Laila instead. Once I entered, the restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere as if it were somebodys home. After we were seated, we were served a bowl of pita bread and olives marinated in some kind of spiced oil. I dipped the pita in the oil and it was delicious. Since I am mostly a vegetarian eater, I ordered a falafel dish with an order of babaganoush. I have eaten at several Mideastern restaurants in my life and this was the best babaganoush I had ever tasted. My falafel dish included pickled parsnips and home-made french fries. This is a great flavor combination when eaten together. The fries werent oily at all and were a great addition to my falafel dish. I also ordered a hot coffee. I wasnt expecting the coffee to be so good, but it was. Laila Syrian Restaurant is in Tottenville, the southern-most part of Staten Iskand. Being Im from Brooklyn, I dont visit this part of Staten Island that much, but now when I do, I will make sure to consider eating at this place again. I already told my Lebanese friend about Laila and she was intrigued.
This place is a gem! Filet mignon shish soft and delicious, Branzino cooked to perfection and flaky and sides and rice deliciously spiced and skillfully prepared. Ambiance and service, top notch a reflection of skilled management by Alan. Always a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner. Great music, dancers bring that little extra to put the experience over the top. Highly recommended !!!
Food was amazing. Took be back to Lebanon and reminded me of my grandmas cooking. The staff as knowledgeable about the menu. The food was phenomenal. Hummus tasted homemade and not emptied out of the can. The kebabs were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The owner is very involved and comes over to your table to make sure everything is perfect! But the way to end lunch or dinner at Lailas is with knafa ( sweet cheese base with toasted angle hair topped with rose water syrup)
Miriam our waitress was phenomenal ! This is Hands down best restaurant no competition ! They went above and beyond for our 14 th anniversary. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. Quality ingredients and made with love. Amal is a total sweetheart. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. If you are looking for incredible food and warm, attentive service look no further. Other restaurants should take notes.
Amazing food, a very understanding and accommodating owner. We were concerned about COVID but we still wanted to enjoy a party on NYE. He pretty much gave us a room to ourselves. We were able to enjoy the party and music and be a little secluded and felt super comfortable. The Resident DJ is the best. We couldn’t ask for a better experience we are definitely coming back and we’ll be recommending the place to everyone we know!
1) Mandatory 20% tip, waiters/waitresses have no reason to actually provide good service.2) food was cold. beef shawerma wasnt good3) giving it 3 stars because we liked all the appetizers but none if the main dishes. the ambience was nice4) they charge 6% if you use a credit card.5) I wish I could give it 2.5 overall. doubt wed return
A friend invited me here because she loves the place. It did not disappoint! Great food, a lot of flavorful options, great service, great atmosphere. Belly dancer and music were fun and entertaining as well. Owner and his wife were very hospitable checked in on us often as if you were a guest in their home. They seem genuinely happy to do it. Staff seems happy as well, which is always a big tell.
Literally mine and my wifes favorite restaurant in the whole city. We always go here for our anniversary every year and the food is so delicious. We told the owner it was our anniversary and he asked us if we ever had the Syrian dessert in which we didnt. We were already done with the check and we were about to leave until he told us to wait 10 min for the Syrian dessert and served us it for free. It literally tasted so delicious, thank you so much again!! We love this place, well always be coming back :))
Amazing! Me and my family had so much fun! The waiters are nice, the owners even come and check on every single person to make sure they are having the time of their lives. There is usually a talented belly dancer. The DJ is one of the best. The owners and the manager is very nice and generous! I am recommending this place for whoever wants to enjoy their life. Overall, the place is like heaven!
THE BEST RESTAURANT IN STATEN ISLAND. SIMPLY TO DIE FOR.My favorite dishes are the shrimp, fried liver cubes, the fatoosh salad, and the Chicken Shwarma Wrap. Oh and for Dessert the KNAFFEEE PURE INSANITY. Great service and great vibes. I will surely be back soon, my family and I love it here. See you soon Al thank you as always!!
Among the BEST Levantine food in the boroughs - easily top 5. Always almost unbelievably fresh and rivals the best places in the city (I regularly frequent ilili in the Flatiron District). Who knew it would be in Staten Island? Huge portions and you should definitely try the falafel and the hummus and the labne. The appetizer olives are delicious and are a nice touch. They do not have a liquor license (yet) but you can bring your own w no corking fee. Staff is courteous and very warm and welcoming, especially Gianna the hostess at the front on weekdays when business is a little quieter. Service is excellent and prompt. They should do a lunch special menu!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The flavors are so unique and always consistent. Every dish we’ve ever ordered has been nothing but delicious. Highly recommend you try and I promise you won’t be disappointed! The owners treat you like family which makes the dining experience ever better!
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, but don’t live on the south shore. I was out there today and decided to order some food to bring home. Even though I did not sit down to eat, the service was still wonderful. The dining room looked gorgeous. Everyone was very friendly. Most places charge you for extra dipping sauces like sour cream or an aioli etc., but they did not even though I offered to pay up front expecting them to charge. Family atmosphere and delicious food. I would like to dine in in the future. I definitely recommend and don’t write reviews often; only when the service is outstanding or outrageously terrible.
Very dissapointed, the spicy kebab tasted weird, chicken schwarma was extremely salty, almost unedible, like it was in some sort of a brine, the kibbe was authentic but not very fresh,my experience definately does not reflect how others reviewed or how Laila’s themselves describe the authenticity and quality of their food,
Unprofessional staff. Overpriced compared by the food quality. Food quality is not what you can expect. The meat shawerma is full of fats more than meat. The responsible lady is unprofessional at all, she was treating us as if we are eating for free. My wife and i had a stomach ache from yesterday. Also the staff most of the time their masks are down their nose and some of them without. The owner lady has NO KNOWLEDGE about CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not recommended at all. I will never be back again neither my friends.
Food was tasty and portions were healthy. Really festive atmosphere with music and even a belly dancer. The only negative was that service was seemingly confused as to what tables food was to be delivered to.Otherwise, we had an enjoyable time and ate some very tasty food.
It is unfortunate that I can only give 1 star to this restaurant. We’ve really enjoyed this restaurant and the food. We have been patrons since they first opened the doors and were on a limited menu. We have brought and introduced multiple people to this place as well.It is so mismanaged that I can no longer take it.1. We recently had a reservation with other people on a Saturday night and ended up waiting 2 hours to be seated. We stood in the parking lot for 2 hours and they actually forgot we were there waiting.2. We’ve ordered multiple times online/by phone and never received the food then after calling to check was either told they didn’t see it due to their system or the latest answer, they “stopped accepting delivery orders” for the day.3. Today we called and asked “are you accepting delivery orders?”, was told “yes if it’s in by 7pm”. Ok we ordered at 5:20, only to be told “they’re no longer accepting delivery orders and they were refunding our payment” they arbitrarily just stop accepting orders at random times! So for now we will no longer be customers of this restaurant. I don’t understand how a restaurant during these uncertain times can turn away business? Let alone give you back you’re money! Again the food is really good but the mismanagement is astounding. Other than food a restaurant is supposed to offer an all around good customer experience not a stressful unsure one. They’ve been open long enough to have better systems in place.I’m hoping they can get a handle on their operations.
Hate to give a bad review but the food was that bad. I ordered the lamb chops and one mixed grill. The meat was all under cooked, smelly, stringy, gamey and very hard to chew. horrible quality meats served for high price. I never mind paying for good food but I feel cheated with the quality. And felt sooo sick afterwards. if you’re looking for REAL authentic middle eastern food do NOT come here
So glad my husband and I decided to come here. Flavors are so explosive and refreshing. I’ve had Mediterranean/Arabian cuisine many times before and truly this place has separated itself from the rest. It’s byob and the outside dining is very comfortable and well designed. Ramez has been an amazing server and very attentive. Same goes for the entire staff.
Recently visited this place for the second time and the food did not disappoint. We were seated immediately outdoors because of COVID. The tables are spread apart so no need to worry about that. The only thing I was disappointed about was the DJ was smoking cigarettes and from where I was seated it was hard not to smell the cigarettes during our time there. If that could be addressed I will most certainly give them 5 stars.
Its the worst experience Ive ever had at that restaurant. The host (Owner wife) is very rude and aggressive. She had no manners or any kind of experience with guests hospitality, not to mention the tables are very close to each other and there is no Covid safety rules. There was more then capacity regulations and I felt uncomfortable. The city should check this place for the safety of the guests. I do not recommend it at all.
What a great place! We came for my father in laws birthday with 10 people. The food portions were huge! We ended up taking a lot of it home. The tartare was absolutely amazing!! I could taste the gran Marsala in the meat. Outstanding! The lamb chunk(shank actually) was falling off the bone. It was an awesome dinner with great great service. We really enjoyed it and will be back the next time we are in Staten Island!
WE WERE ASKED TO LEAVE...I am a regular customer, I love the food at Lailas. However tonight they lost me as a loyal customer.I was sitting here tonight with a few friends enjoying my time over dinner. Then we were forced to take the check and were asked repeatedly to pay it. We politely paid and assumed nothing of it. We were then sitting enjoying our music and the belly dancer. We were then approached by Alan. I believe he is the manager. He asked us to leave because he had many customers waiting for a table . He also added that he is operating at 25% capacity and needed us to leave as soon as possible. I surely believe this wasnt the case, the restaurant looked pretty full to me.. definitely not at 25% capacity. And literally no one was waiting outside.Advice to management: if you wanted a quick turnaround, you shouldve let us know as soon as we sat at our table, rather than kicking us out.
Best restaurant in Staten Island. Very authentic Syrian food, amazing quality. The meats melt in your mouth. They invested a lot in the ambiance and interiors. We had our company holiday party there and everything was perfect. Service is top notch. Highly recommend this place!
This restaurant did such an amazing job with valentines day dinner I couldn’t be more pleased. They had a beautiful atmosphere with warm brick walls and beautiful arabic doors and large crystal chandeliers with red linens and beautiful romantic lit candles and free roses for ladies. The entertainment was top of the line ( being a bellydancer myself I felt the dancers selected great music with good props and choreography). I also loved the menu with tons of good grilled options like kebabs, lamb chops, grilled salmon, and shwarma. I also loved how they are generous with pita bread and olive oil dip for starters. For $50 pp you got an appetizer, entree, dessert. I loved the falafel with pickled veggies it was perfect portion to even share with tons of flavor and no oil. The lamb chops were to die for, it was cooked perfectly medium and the homemade fries were fantastic, there was amazing seasoning and flavor. I hate seafood but was even impressed with my fiancés salmon it was hardly fishy. This place is BYOB which is a plus because you can bring whatever you want for $10. There is also valet parking and a lot for yourself, they also check temperatures and give sanitizer. What holds me back from giving 5 stars is they ran out of chocolate cake and pistachio cheesecake, all we had was kunefe and coffee ice cream but those were extremely delicious and big portions with nice presentation. I cant wait to come back here to try the rest of the menu!
Syrian spices and friendly service in a cozy but roomy comfortable setting. You will not be rushed through your evening. Owner on hand making sure you have a great dining experience. Nice to have a different flavor in the overly Italian area. Italians love to eat and we appreciate different cultures and their food. Good clean eating...very enjoyable.
My husband and I were excited to eat something other than Italian or Chinese food. We googled and discovered Laila Restaurant. The menu looked amazing and nowhere on the site did it say reservations were required or even recommended. We valet parked and as soon as we entered, a server came over to greet us when the hostess/owner shooed him away and asked us if we had reservations. We did not. After about 5 minutes, she comes back and says,You guys are not going to be long right? Because look... and she shoves a spiral notebook with what I assume were reservations in our faces. I was stunned at the rude treatment. There were so many other things that could have been said. I was ready to walk out but my husband really wanted to try the food so I agreed to stay. To be fair, the servers were great and the food was excellent. However, I left with a bad taste in my mouth thanks to the impolite hostess. If youre going on the weekend, make sure you have a reservation.
Amazing food, very friendly and professional service. The Grandmas food selection of food is amazingly flavored food with huge portions and amazing testing meats. The whole place feels relaxed and comfortable. The parking in the mini strip mall is a little tight but you will find parking with some patience.
There are many reasons why this restaurant is a terrible choice. And I’ll give you a list of them:1. There was limited parking2. We waited literally an hour and 45 minutes to eat on the smallest table for 5 people.3. The rice was clearly microwaved. It was cold in some areas and hot in others.4. Food in general was horrendous and expensive. However, the service was perfectly fine. All in all I would NOT recommend coming here. Should’ve went to bay ridge...
Due to cvd 19 the resume m restaurant is opened to outside dining, tables are spread out far apart and everyone is very accommodating. The food here is still pretty amazing, great flavor from meat and species, the portions are huge and the menu has plenty of options to choose from.
The food is delicious and authentic. Service is amazing. It was a great surprise date night with my fiancé. The falafel had a great crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. He enjoyed the salmon but was super jealous of my dish which had a combination of chicken, and other meats. We cant wait to go again.
We went to see if this place improve since last year. Nope. The food is not good. Branzino was burned and tasteless. Swarma was hard and not chewable. When we complain to manager, he said i can give u something different, but its was already pointless to wait and he refuse to take it of the bill. Not a normal answear. We not coming again.
My wife and I heard nothing but good things about this place. Unfortunately, we’ll never know. We made reservations for 8:30 tonight and we got there a little earlier because we saw how busy it was when we tried walking in the night before. The owner came up to us and asked if we had reservations, we said yes and he told us to give him about 10 minutes which we were perfectly fine with.About 20 minutes go by and we see people getting sat before us. My wife asked the lady checking people in what was going on, and why people were getting being sat before us. The lady decided to be extremely nasty towards my wife saying we don’t have a reservation meanwhile we made one, to which she said “oh I took you off because you didn’t answer my phone call” (my wife never received a call or a voicemail, she even showed her phone to the lady) to which she said “oh I thought I left you a voicemail, but it doesn’t matter you don’t have a reservation anymore”. The owner tried following us out to explain the situation and even admitted the lady was wrong, but at this point we had such a horrible taste in our mouth that we wanted to just leave, which we did.So, for our first time at the restaurant, we were treated like complete dirt which is very disappointing considering we were very excited to try it and bring our families there. We will never return there after being treated like absolute trash by their staff.
I ordered again tonight and the chef delivered my food. How awesome. The staff at Laila Restaurant go above and beyond for their customers!!! You all rock!!! Many blessings. Thank you again.- NicoleAbsolutely amazing food & Service!!! Thank you to the cooks & owners who made my order!!! Thank you Mariam for delivering my meal!!! Cant wait to come & dine in!!! Thank you- Nicole!!!
Came here unexpectedly after finding it on google . I’m glad I did ! 100% halal and was honestly the most fun I’ve had at a restaurant ! Live singers live DJ the whole place was lit ! The food was 10/10 we ordered everything from apps to deserts honestly the best Persian food in NY it was literally a mini night club / restaurant all in one ! I live out in Long Island but I will come back every weekend if I have to ! ITS LITTTT
Was visiting my friends on Staten Island ( I live on Long Island ) We ordered some food from this restaurant Some of the best middle eastern food I ever had. From the salad , to kababs , hummus , shrimp and so much more that I don’t know the names of ( my wife does the middle eastern food orders ) I usually come to SI for the great pizza and Italian food ( and to see my friends ). But now I’m going to add this restaurant to the list
The owner, Alan, is such a pleasure to work with. I closed the restaurant for a private party with a DJ and the food and staff were beyond my expectations! The food is always on point and everything was so fresh as usual. The service — wow — the staff was super attentive and made sure guests didn’t wait an extra minute for something they requested. The whole experience was effortless and we cannot wait to go back!
They didnt have a separate Lunch menu so ended up ordering dinner menu but different from its description because it was not ready. The hall was full of tables with people but only one server since they were busy preparing a party for night. Food was just ok and the service Not the same than when they opened in the beginning.
What is there to say about Laila? A lot. You want to hear about how the food you ordered one time will taste the same as ordering it a second time? Lailas got it. You want to try new foods and allow your taste buds to experience all the flavors youve been missing? Lailas got you covered. Each time I order, I choose a dish I havent tried before, and each time they surpass my expectations. Yesterday for my anniversary we ordered the Chicken Shawarma and Shish Kabob entrees among two appitizers. Borak? Amazing. Pan Fried Halloumi? Delicious. If you dont want to be let down by a restaurant and want a dinner to run smoothly I highly recommend ordering from Laila. You wont regret it.
Ordered on Uber Eats. When you spend $40 on delivery (for one person) I expect it to be good, and at least what I ordered.I ordered the chicken swarma with RICE (got fries). Said it comes with garlic dip (garlic sauce), which I was looking forward to... that was missing too.The food is decent. Nowhere near worth the prices. The falafel tahini sauce tastes like it literally just came out of a plastic bag, same with the pickled beets. If you want this type of food, and want it at the right price (where you actually feel it was worth it), I’d drive to Brooklyn to go to Karam. I’m super disappointed in this meal, at even more disappointed that I could of drove to Brooklyn, gotten 3x the amount of (better) food, including toll for the VZ.Food was decent, but won’t be ordering again
The food and services are excellent, although they very strict about mask ( which is I understand but there were a circumstance ) .I had lil argument about the mask (which is they were right ✅ about it ) . Although I found a few customers went to the bathroom WITHOUT a mask. But what upsets me they allow other customer to interfer with our argument which unacceptable in anyway. As I said they were abouslotly right about the mask and following CDC COVID-19 REGULATIONS.They didnt even bother and mediate and appreciate the coming as a guest. Finally, they have great customer service and great food.
Went last night for dinner and it was amazing. Wish I could’ve ordered everything on the menu. Food was delicious and service was great.Update: I visited Laila a few more times and needless to say the restaurant is amazing. Nothing beats great a dedicated restaurant owner and delicious food!
Great food and service however, they need to do something about the door. Most restaurants have some sort of an entry way to keep the temperature in the restaurant consist but this place dosent have that so you feel the outside air everytime the door opens, this was painful in 100 degree weather the day I was there. But the food is amazing. Also the turkish coffee there was too watery.
The Appetizers are very good full of flavor. The Entree to me was Flavorless . I had to add salt & pepper. I had the Mixed grill and Filet mignon cubes. The wait staff was good . Its a BYOB restaurant also good if you know in advance. This is the 2nd restaurant on Staten island that charges you an extra 4% for using your credit card. I refuse to give my business to places that charge that fee especially when their prices are a bit too high.
With all the Italian restaurants in Staten Island it’s refreshing to see a successful Syrian restaurant open up. I was looking to try something different, and Laila serves dishes I have never tried before. For appetizers here I had the mini pies and Toshka Cheese which is pita bread stuffed with 3 different cheeses. Both were good! For dinners here I had the chicken shawarma and the Fattet Mozat. Both were really good! The chicken shawarma is thinly sliced roasted chicken some of it was wrapped in a pita bread, and it came with fries and garlic sauce. It was really tasty! The Fattet Mozat was a layer of eggplant over tahini sauce mixed with yogurt and chopped pita bread topped with ground meat. I’m glad I was able to try that unique dish! It was very good! I recommend Laila’s in Staten Island!
Excellent food, great and friendly service, beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended. Wanted to try a little bit of everything, so we ordered the mini pies (meat pie, spinach pie, and cheese pie) and the Laila Combo (hummus, baba ghanosh, labneh, and muhammara) appetizers. For entrée’s, my wife had Syrian Salmon and I had the Laila Mixed Grill (Kafta, shish kabab, and shish tawook). Kanafeh for dessert. All good portions, prepared well, and absolutely delicious! We plan to return.
Allen and his very lovely wife and staff are extremely welcoming. The food is delicious! The service staff is very attentive. LAILA’s is our “go to “place when we are in from Florida. My daughter’s family live in Tottenville, they really enjoyed the food and service.
It was terrible.First of all they made us rush because they said “the kitchen is closing at 9:00pm”.We got there at 8:45pm and they took our order at 9:15pm.Second of all the food is awful. You can’t even chew the Shish Kebab.Third of all the mixed hot appetizer (it is not even on the menu.It was recommended by the waitress) such a small dish is $22.It’s extremely expensive.I’ve been to too many Mediterranean restaurants and this one is the worst ever.I’ll give 0 star if I have that option.I usually take pictures (by the way my photos reviewed by more then 4 million people on Google) in every places where I got but this one wasn’t even worth it.
Always come in to eat here but asked for delivery today. They use Uber eats and Uber eats made a mistake, but the owner immediately corrected the issue and brought a whole new meal to my door. Food has always been fantastic, but the service is unlike any other place. I dont leave reviews but I had to because this place deserves 5 stars.
Serve is poor. Staff charged us for the order, but never brought it to the table.. Also, they dont know how to operate the credit card machine. The girl took the deposit over the phone and said credit card was declined, gave her another credit card, she charged both. Deposit was never deducted from the bill. Had to go to the credit card to dispute. On the up note, food is ok. But beware of the thieves!
Laila is a huge win for the South Shore. A welcome addition to the whole slew of repeat restaurants we have access to on Page Ave and the surrounding area. Alan Dakhlallah is a cut above other Middle Eastern food chefs because he takes your typically common dishes and makes them better. Hes also a Master Host, gliding from table to table to ensure that everyone feels welcome and to offer try this options on the house.Youll check the menu, youll order what you know and youll be pleasantly surprised at how much better it tastes here versus other ME restaurants. BUT be sure to try everything he recommends. That will be the win for you and for him because next time you visit, youll order it again and again. Hummus, yes. Awesome. But Hummus with freshly made Shwarma on top? Score!Kibbeh, lamb-filled pockets of bulgher wheat that are deep-fried and fragrant with spices like cinnamon and cumin? Sure. Had them. Know them. Okay. Usually always dry everywhere else so I its not a first choice for me, but when Alan shows up with a freshly made dish of Kibbeh that you didnt order, you must eat because he knows its going to stupify you - moist, tender lamb inside a deep fried Kibbeh. It was amazing! A cut above everywhere else.Kibbeh Naya - chopped, raw lamb brightened with fresh mint and served with fruity olive oil - is one of my favorite appetizers anywhere. Its hard to get it wrong until I tasted Lailas. It was so right and so much better that I realized it was wrong everywhere else. its an acquired taste but if you can get past the idea of eating raw lamb like you do sushi, go for it.Whole fish Branzini is amazing. The mixed grill - another common ME restaurant item - better here than anywhere else. And you cant go wrong with any appetizer. Expand your horizons and go. You wont be sorry. At the very least, Alan will make sure you have a great time.
Alan and Amal thank you so much for opening this wonderful restaurant on Staten Island The place is very welcoming and home like even on the busiest days like a weekend People are keep coming back for a good reason food is always fresh and delicious and healthy too no oily and greasy stuff here just fresh from the grill the deserts are also delicious and fresh just melt in your mouth the service also top notch they always making sure their customers happy with their food and service Love, love this place keep coming back

2022-02-05We had a wonderful time. Delicious food, amazing service. The music was a little too loud for dinner. But at 830 a belly dancer came and it was wonderful. Will keep Lailas in mind for a fun night out.

2022-07-05First time to visit Laila Restaurant. I liked the interior of the place it is so oriental and even the menu is in a good design and fabric. Kebba was amazing but other plates we didn’t like ( Fatta Mix , shawrma sandwish) they were greasy. Kunafa was not fresh

2022-03-20Food was great! Place was clean, and service is quick. Portions here are humungous! An entree here is enough to fill you up. The place is wheelchair friendly and there is an outdoor dining section if you want as well. Parking can be somewhat tricky but there is ample parking spaces out front.Update- went with a few friends recently and just wanted to update the review. We went in the late afternoon on a weekend and most of the lunch rush was gone but we were still inexplicably rushed. Not sure why, we had already ordered our food and were just talking but were still rushed.

2022-04-24The place looks fancy, the food was ok, they brought the food after 1 hour and the waiters were so lost they don’t know which order goes to which table, they kept asking us every single time they come with a dish. The only thing I like is the drinks

2022-04-23First and foremost the food was amazing but I had to minus two stars because of service. The service was terrible. It’s one thing to be busy and have to wait on food, but it’s another when no one comes checking on you, to tell you as a courtesy, what’s going on. The food took forever to arrive. Although delicious, I can’t say it was really worth the wait. On top of all that waiting, my party never received our appetizers. We were charged for it and I had to get the bill corrected. That took time in itself because it had to be “verified” despite me telling one of the servers that we never received our apps prior to the bill arriving. That same server verified what I told him but still proceeded to ask me again if I ever got them. I mean clearly the table would have the proof if we did. Kind of silly.

2022-04-11Today was my first time trying this restaurant and Im really glad I did! Everything I ordered was delicious. The lamb shank was one of the best Ive had and Im usually hesitant to try that. Highly recommend!
