I have an older vehicle that I brought in for inspection. I received a top notch inspection with just a bulb replacement. Its comforting to know you can get good service without being ripped off. I highly recommend.
I arrived here around 8:15 in the morning because was told that theres no reservation, everything is supposed to be first come first serve. There were two cars in front of me, so they told me I should expect to get my car checked in around 1.5hr to 2 hr. I came back around 11am expecting everything was done, and they told me to come back later in the afternoon because it was too busy. I saw another two cars being checked/fixed that clearly werent the cars in front of me in the morning. I would appreciate if they told me to go somewhere else in the beginning so I would waste my Saturday morning waiting for nothing.
Price is tax included. Not like most of other stores in which they avoid tax if we use cash, this one charges everything. Sometimes I feel good because I could use my credit card, but no tax could save a lot of money though since car fixing price is usually high. They are honest people, have really good skills as well. However since their store is combined with the gas station, it’s relatively smaller than others and that leads to more time consumption while installing and fixing.
These guys are very honest! I took my 2000 Honda Civic in with the check engine light on. With an old car like that, they could have charged me anything! It turned out to be very minor and a $40 fix! Ive been to plenty of guys in Queens who would have taken advantage. Im so glad I found these guys!
Had to fix a tire. Jeffery was quick and efficient in helping us. He saw us right away, and even checked all the other tires for us. decent price too
I went there for the car inspection based on all the reviews, and am now going back when my car has issues.They are efficient, and friendly.I appreciate this place, and recommand them.
I came here for state inspections, oil changes, just leave my car in their parking lot, they will give you a claim check and call you to pick it up when it is ready.

In the beginning of October 2019, I changed the oil in this store. As of today, I ran less than 2000miles. I checked the oil in the morning and found it was black. I dont know what oil you changed for this store , and what good Mobil No. 1 oil? 2021-11-13I went to another mechanic for inspection and they told me that I needed rotors...I dont think they were trying to scam me because they suggested I call the dealer since my car was only 3 years old with low mileage.I went to Lais and I told them that I needed rotors. They said I did not. They said what appeared to be worn rotors was rust from not using the car.They are honest mechanics. I also had brought the car in for inspection when I was deciding whether to buy it and I havent had any issues.

2021-03-05Went here for my yearly emissions inspection, the service was good, the staff was friendly, everything was really good, only reason for 4 star is because of the wait time. Was told to be back in 1 and a half hour, I came back 1 hour and 40 minutes later, and I saw my car was still parked where I had parked it. I waited in my car, few minutes later they got to me and did the inspection and fixed up some wiring within 30min. Overall, I had a good experience, would come back.

2021-03-18Got 4 brand new Bridgestone Turanza tires, alignment and synthetic oil change. Work was professionally done. Took almost 3 hours but that is to be expected. Only gripe is the lack of a waiting area especially during inclement weather but also to be expected since it is a gas service station. The service manager Phil is friendly, knowledgeable and tells it like it is. They have multiple 5 star reviews for a reason.

2021-03-12This is the place to go. Fair prices, good advice on quick fixes for your issues (i.e., changing your own filters), and clever enough to troubleshoot just about any Why does it do that? issue my Honda has had. Always uses OEM parts.

2021-01-21Came here after another mechanic failed my inspection after i didnt opt for nearly $1000 in repairs, said things needed to be replaced. I even bought the parts. The mechanic said they didnt need to be replaced yet and to save them for the next tune up, and only charged me a $10 reinspection fee.Its pretty obvious Ill be returning here even though its out of my way.

2020-12-15I noticed that they like to take advantage of people by upcharging on services, or scaring you if you dont get the services. It was disappointing and made me wonder how they were able to get the positive reviews. Potentially they are paying third party marketing company for such services. Will not be coming back nor would I recommend to close friendsAlso, There is nowhere to wait inside, so good luck if the weather gets cold and rainy or snowy. I brought my car here at 10am and got my car back at 3:12pm. All this time your freezing with nowhere else to go in this covid winter.

2020-01-29I used to work with mechanics and parts distributors so I knows about the in and outs. Its okay to do business for profit but not okay if you tries tricks and take advantage of customers and cause inconvenience to customer. 4hr wasted. In a repair shop each mechanics may have their own quote and pricing, after all they want to maximize what they put in their pocket at the end of day. Being an informed consumer protects you from sneaky tactics. Unfurtunate to deal with one this time. When to other mechanic shop in and out and have my issue resolved quickly and tips him on the side

2017-11-03I usually come here for oil changes and annual car inspections. Occasionally I’m met with unsuspecting car issues. They are the first I turn to for help with figuring out the cause and the provide the optimal solution to get it fixed. The owner and his team are very trustworthy and accommodating to ensure the repairs are what I expect and aligned with my schedule for pick up.
