These people are beyond condescending and clueless. I inquired about a 2020 RR Sport HSE yesterday with around 12k miles. 2 years old now. The original MSRP was just under $98k. They have it listed for almost $109k!!!!! 🤣🤣Keep in mind this is not an SVR or an exotic SUV. Yes we all know about the chip shortage and the lack of new vehicles blah blah blah. The sales associate tried explaining the astronomical mark up with a very arrogant demeanor. I’m a car guy, I have very high end cars and I would school this clown all day long. I know more about the current market then he ever will. So after he tried justifying the ridiculous price I said then why in gods name have you been sitting on this vehicle since last November!!! He had no response for that. Good job, you last a customer and possible future customer because you try to rob people.
We had an exceptional experience with Land Rover of Glen Cove. From the moment we started a dialogue with Jonathan Markovican, I knew we were in good hands. Jonathan made the process simple. He coordinated the transfer of out of state vanity plates to the new vehicle and delivered to car to Southeastern Connecticut, a 3-hour drive from the dealership! The entire process took less than 4 days. I would highly recommend the dealership and Jonathan.
Not a good experience. Poor customer service, rude and arrogant! Ive been told the owner is driving the car and I can pay for it now and get it when he is done using it, seriously! Why list the car if its not up for sale and tell me -Buddy, he is the owner of the place and he can drive any car he wants. Its sad to see a brand ive been associated with for more than 30yrs has come to this.
Wonderful experience at Land Rover Glen Cove with Anthony Yanes. He is so nice, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions, and I am so appreciative that he took the time to walk me through step by step on how to set up 2 of my vehicles and use the In-connect App. He followed up to make sure all was going smoothly. I had scheduled a service appointment when a loaner is available. After reaching service I was told loaner is not available. They did not even bothered to inform me in advance. I see few more people similar issue when i went thru other reviews. My time is important and this service department does not care of their customers. With this quality of service JAGUAR IS NOT A LUXARY car anymore. Next appointment is at least 3 to 4 weeks away and my inspection is expiring before that. I was looking into replacing my other suv with Range Rover but not any more. I will dump Jaguar soon for good. I regret buying it thinking a luxury car.
In sum: Completely unreliable, incompetent service department. If you value your time and expect reliable service, especially at this price range, I suggest going elsewhere. I was stunned at the incompetence of my experience.I called and made an appointment for brake pads and communicated that I required a loaner car. I was advised the next appointment would be today where a loaner car would be available, and I made my appointment. This morning I called to confirm that the loaner car would still be available as I had pushed back my service time an hour and was assured it wouldnt be an issue.I arrived and spoke with a service advisor who advised me I was listed as a drop off. I told him that this was impossible and I expressly communicated I required a loaner car and made the next available appointment a loaner car was available. He further noted that the notes on my account indicate that I would like a loaner car if it was available. This is absolutely inaccurate and in no way was this communicated as acceptable. I unambiguously communicated that I would need a loaner car and specifically waited weeks for this appointment, as this was apparently the earliest appointment a loaner was available. The service advisor advised me that this is a frequent issue with the service that their dealership uses, where people request loaners and it is promised inaccurately.Many issues with this: if this is a known problem with empty promises of loaners when scheduling a service appointment why wouldnt they call the day before to confirm the clients appointment (as any other luxury car dealership Ive ever dealt with has done) but further confirm whether or not a loaner is required in light of this apparent issue theyre aware of and take no proactive steps to ensure the issue does not perpetually continue. Needless to say, I advised the service agent this was completely unacceptable as I had to take off work for the appointment.There was no efforts to rectify their incompetence. I was advised the next loaner appointment was a month away. I was not offered any discount on my future service despite a mistake that was solely theirs that was a massive waste of travel time and missed time from work for me.Mistakes happen- it was the lack of any attempt to rectify an issue caused by their unreliable and incompetent service that has warranted this review.
Mat Thomas was a pleasure to meet and extremely professional. He took his time to explain the features and how to use them, very informative. Seems like over at Glen Cove Land Rover is the place to purchase any Land Rover vehicle. So polite and willing to help/cater in any way ..Appreciated and will definitely be bringing my business back to Glen Cove Lan Rover..
I have to say that it was the worst experience i had with any dealership so far. I was in Land Rover Glen Cove this morning for a four wheel alignment and a air bag recall on my Range Rover. When I got the car back I found those damages whoever touched my car did on my steering wheel(See photos attached). I told my advisor, Cynthia, who’s very kind and helpful. However, the service manager was unbelievably irresponsible. He denied that they damaged my car and he was trying to say that the damage were there before the car was serviced and I framed them for it. He denied any sort of reimbursement and the damages they did to my car. Even blamed for the age and mileage on my car. I send my car there for a fix, not for more damage. Never again, Land Rover Glen Cove.
I highly recommend this dealership. I have gotten two Range Rovers from them and I love the dedicated staff and the level of customer service. Jason Kule handled both of my cars - the most dedicated sales person with the highest level of customer service. Go see Jason for your next Range Rover/Jaguar. Lets go for number three!!
After several bad experiences at another location, Range Rover Glen Cove was definitely a breath of fresh air. Jonathan M contributed to a great buying experience. After having a horrible experience at a competitors dealership service department, I found LR of Glen Cove. I can tell you, that Cynthia a professional took her time to document my issues, was always available to speak with me or returned my call right away. The service department was great, fixed my vehicle in a timely manner, they took my vehicle for a test drive to make sure all issues were fixed and not coming back. Awsome service. We had a wonderful experience at Land Rover glen cove, specifically with the sales associate who helped us, Dan Lebron. Dan was polite and cordial and helpful from the first time we called. He worked with us to get us a great deal. He took his time with us and was so considerate and helpful.We had been to other Land Rover dealerships to shop around and this dealership stood out among them. The dealership in Southampton was awful and the sales associate there was horrible rude and dismissive. Dan Lebron was the exact opposite.We are pleased with our car and even more so with the experience we had with Dan at glen cove. I give him the highest recommendation possible.
I have been a Range Rover owner for almost 20 years & have either leased or financed 7 trucks total. This was the first time I had purchased a truck from LR Glen Cove. My overall experience was by far the easiest, no pressure, best car buying experience to date. I have never had a bad experience at Land Rover Glen Cove. From my first visit three years ago to today, the team has always treated with me with attentiveness, dignity, respect. The process has always been open and transparent whether it was during the lead up to my first lease, closing the deal to and visiting for maintenance. Service Advisor Nicole Romano is Excellent...She knows her job ...but who Evers performs services on the vehicle are messed just fix front driver side heated seat every things else still not fixedAnd worked very roughly on the vehicle leave multiple stain,scraches in and out of the vehicle.

All the employees were so sweet, my 1 yr old came along and was cranky from lack of sleep and the employees helped to entertain him. They offered to get us food. Very bad experience at this dealership. If you can avoid this dealership, it’s better. We live in the neighborhood, so we thought it would be an easy transaction but worst experience we had.our sales person Bill James was unprofessional. Didn’t give us any straight answer. Gave us wrong money factor. Sticker price was 85,000. I asked him the residual and money factor. Gave me wrong moneyfactor. Came up with monthly payment 1398. Money factor given 0.00111 for 2021. We went another place and made a deal and money factor was 0.00065. Stay away with this dealership. Their salesperson has 0 knowledge. Will try to charge you extra giving wrong information. I know dealership has to make profit and there is a shortage of supply at this moment. But it has nothing to do giving us wrong money factor. I will never go to them neither do my friends and family. Sales person seemed like he is not interested to make deal. Any way same day we went another place and same car we got it for 1162. Sign and drive. No manager came to greet us where every dealer we went, manager came. Bad experience. Be careful
We just bought a used Discovery and it was the best experience weve ever had. Matt, our sales person, was courteous and knowledgeable, and made the whole experience actually pleasant, which as you can imagine usually is not the case when buying a car. They even took care of a few minor issues with the car, which was above and beyond given we were buying a used car not a brand new one. I would definitely come back if we are in the market for another Land Rover.

It has been three years since our first car purchased in here with the best dealer David we have ever met. My husband and I brought a car then rent another in Glen Cover. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. Not pushing at all. David helped us to find the perfect car for the different life periods-- Evoque for two person world; and Velar welcomed our first baby! David always give us the honest suggestions for our cars. We really appreciate. I still remember the Google’s review was not good like right now back to 2017, we almost thought another Land Rover dealership. But we felt lucky we chose Land Rover Glen Cove and met David. And I am glad to see they got such good review score. They deserve better.
Just leased a Jaguar F Pace from this dealer. Amazing experience. Bill Suvatey was our sales representative. He was very knowledgeable, and took time to understand what we were looking for, did not waste our time and offered us amazing deal. The paperwork was ready when we got there. Giovanni explained us everything about the car and answered all the questions. Both Bill and Giovanni made sure that we were well taken care of and that there was no waiting. I want to thank Jon M. and Jiovani for a great buying experience at JLR Glen Cove. I recently purchased a new Defender, which was my first new vehicle purchase in many years. As such, this could have otherwise been quite an overwhelming experience, but Jon was very patient, friendly and professional throughout the entire process and was a pleasure to work with. It took me some time and a few visits to make decisions and Jon was always very responsive without being aggressive or pushy in any way. The day we picked up the car we met Jiovani. As my previous car was 17 years old, Jiovani had his work cut out for him in walking us through the technology and features. He was very friendly and explained everything clearly and concisely and answered all of our questions. He capped off a great all around new car buying experience. Thanks again guys!

My husband is a online car junkie and Jaguar Land Rover Glen Cove had the best deal on the Range Rover that we were interested in within a 200 mile square radius. Service was great with sales and finance team. We would definitely shop there again.
My wife and I were interested in looking and test driving the Range Rover Sport today with the thought of buying as well. When we arrived we walked thru the parking lot looking at different options, waiting for some assistance. We went inside and again waited for assistance which was to no avail. Finally someone came over, looked my wife and I up and down and said he couldnt help us. My wife and I have many tattoos, which does not mean we didnt have the funds to buy a Range Rover today. Its her dream car and todays experience at Glen Cove Land Rover really made her rethink what she wants to buy. The gentleman brushed us off, made us feel like we were beneath him and pretty much pushed us out the door. Thanks Glen Cove for the excellent treatment.... We will find another place to spend our money.
The worse service department I have ever dealt with.My top of the line velar has had electronic issues from the day I first got it. Every time I brong it to Glen Gove it takes at least 2 weeks to get it back and the problems are never resolved. I rarely get an update and have to reach out to the service advisor myself.I reached out to Land Rover corporate to discuss returning the vehicle as a lemon and so far they have been very helpful, however, they have not been able to get any cooperatiom from Glen Cove. They have been trying to reache the service manager for 17 days and noone is calling them back! Yes, land rover corporate cant get cooperation from one of their own dealerships! You cant make this up! Do yourself a favor and go to another dealership if youre looking to get a land rover.
Car was taken in for oil change and speaker to be fixed, which led to a vehicle check an ultimately new brakes. Apparently every 20,000 miles they need to be changed.? This information would have been helpful prior to leasing car as this is a fairly large added expense every 2 years.Staff is usually very courteous and professional, however I have had to return for work to be done almost every time with both of my Land Rovers after the initial work was done. This time the door handle doesnt open because when they fixed the speaker, it was not reassembled the right way. For the cost of every visit, it should be fixed right the first time. Now I have to take time out of my schedule to bring the car in again.
I had a great experience at the Land Rover Glen Cove showroom. Charles (sales) and Brian (GM) as well as Giovanni (tech) were all very helpful. I leased a Land Rover Discovery Sport HSE and the process was seamless and quick! They were all very helpful in answering all of my questions and made me very comfortable in picking out the right vehicle. I love my Evoque and there were some major repairs needed - Steven and his team were so great, flawless communications, eagerness to make sure I was satisfied with the work and with the cost, everything he did made me feel like he was working for ME and my overall feelings towards Land Rover Glen Cove is that this is where people should be buying their luxury cars. This experience was absolutely incredible !! Very seamless and painful. EVERYONE AT THIS DEALERSHIP WAS AMAZING AND SO HELPFUL!! DOMINICK sold me my Range Rover and made the process so easy. He put me in a new truck for a great deal. I went to 9 dealerships in one day and Dominick even beat out other brand name vechile prices . He even checked up on me after we met and wasn’t pushy at all to make a deal.. he wanted a friendship and to stand by the company brand more then a sale and that made me feel great .. he wanted to make sure i was 100% happy and in the truck for me. He gave me time to look around and at other brands while letting me know he was still there if i needed him . I’m happy I gave Jaguar Range Rover another try after my old dealership was always hard to get a hold of and that turned me off to the company.. I just purchased a 2016 Range Rover Autobiography from Land Rover Glen Cove. The staff was amazing, very friendly and everyone went beyond what they needed to do to make sure i was happy. Starting with my sales agent Richalin who was able to help secure a great deal and guide me through the entire process from the second i walked till i pulled away. The finance manager Brian and the general manger John were great by securing me a great finance rate and making sure all my needs were met. Liz was great about explaining everything in the truck and teaching me anything i didnt know. The staff at Land Rover Glen Cove truly represent Range Rover and made this car buying experience something that was fun and very enjoyable. I will certainly being buying another truck from them.
I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. From the moment we stepped into the showroom, everyone we encountered could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. Our sales associate Kristina Fenech was terrific and made the purchase of our new car an easier process than I could have imagined. I absolutely love my new Range Rover Evoke and would not hesitate to recommend Land Rover Glen Cove.
If I could give this dealership zero stars I would. I called a week ago to schedule service due to my check engine light being on - was told the system was down and someone would call me back ASAP to schedule. A week later I never received any phone call or email so I called the service dept yet again to make an appointment only to be told they are not taking any appointments for over a month, no walk-ins and no emergencies either. IS THIS A JOKE!? I pay all this money on a luxury vehicle to be told you cant service my car and the check engine light is MY problem!? I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A LAND ROVER EVER AGAIN.
Only reason I come to this dealership is for the convenience, leased 2 vehicles from here, and 2 from Huntington, but always serviced here because its a 5 minutes drive from home. Reason why I stopped leasing from here and Huntington (same owners), because of pricing I always try to build a relationship, because I lease a new car on a yearly basis so relationship is key for me to get better pricing, but they dont give a F...all they care about is $$.. Then I leased from Ray Catena, but again still brought here for service, my newest lease is from Freeport, but now this was the final straw with their service department now. AVOID AT ALL COST, even if its convenient take it elsewhere.Recently, driving the car started to have a burn smell, pulled over, coolant light came on, engine line came on, called roadside right away, they towed to glen cove. They said radiator was damaged and then they replaced it and then they have to do a stress test on the engine. They came back a few days later, saying I needed to replace an new engine for $33k...At this point I am shocked, and I said file it through warranty, we didnt get into an accident whatsoever, even the pics they sent shows no damage to the front, so how could it possibly be from us, they said no its from Collison damage. While we are trying to figure out what to do, basically kept rushing us to decide what to do, if we arent going to do the work with them return the loaner car and get the car out of there. In the end spent $1900, $1100 was labor $640 in parts, who knows how that was calculated, and towed it out of there to another dealer.Avoid this dealer...

I have been buying and leasing cars for many years and it has become something that I dread each time. Land Rover of Glen Cove has made me excited and happy to do this process again. I have never been treated so well by a dealership and especially, by the salesman, Jon Markovican in all my life. Jon took so much time with us and made sure, whether he sold us a car or not, that all of our questions were answered, our concerns were put to rest and all of our options, Options we never even knew about designed to help save us money, were put in front of us. Because of Jon and the rest of the staff at Glen Cove, we drove away the same day in a 2020 Evoque SE and we couldnt be happier.AND...side note, 3 days after getting the car, NYC suffered the remnants of a tropical storm with winds that sent a tree through the roof of our brand new car. Called Jon and, while going through issues where the dealership lost power, still took the time to talk, show concern for our well being and acted like we have been friends for years. Jon was happy to help us through this and hopefully very soon, we will have our car back.Anyone interested in a Land Rover, Range Rover or Jaguar and want the absolute best service, come to Land Rover of Glen Cove and you wont be disappointed! I will however commend the entire crew at the Glen Cove Land Rover. They seem to have way more professionalism than its corporate customer service. I received excellent service from start to finish. Cynthia Idavoy was amazingly cordial.She apparently knows what customer service is all about. You should give her a call and get some tips on customer service. She kept me updated from start to finish. The head mechanic was amazing. Shook my hand with a smile. Good man.The gentlemen at car loan area were phenomenal and cordial. Including their manager. Cracked a funny with me.Your entire corporate customer service should take a visit to the Glen Cove dealership and take notes on customer service skills. I never leave reviews but here I had to. It started with me sitting down at a BMW dealer with a salesman,when I received a call from Jon ( Land Rover salesman) saying Mr Evangelou where are you now? I replied just about ready to sign a deal on the new x4. Now rewind a week before,I contacted Glen cove Land Rover inquiring about the new velar,which I didnt think I had the chance to purchase it to be in my budget after trading in my BMW x6. Jon said let me see what I can do. So here I am a week forward ready with pen in hand to sign the deal with BMW,Jon calls and says come on down I got a great car for you! I QUCKLY DROPPED THE PEN the BMW salesman looked upset after they wouldnt work with me to meet my budget. The next day I went to see Jon. I felt like we were brothers from another mother. He is very professional, honest and listened to all my questions and answered all my stupid questions with no attitude. The transition was a breeze no games and we know how car sales men are. He and his managers worked with me to help with my budget,gave me an awesome car,and I am so happy Jon called me the second I was going to sign that other contract. I took the car home and noticed a very small scratch on the rim,called Jon,the next morning he and his managers brought to me a loaner,took my car and fixed the rim,then returned my car at my home! What other dealer does that? I have been dealing with many high end dealers and not once was I ever treated with such professional class. And I have to mention me Sullivan who was the driver who picked up my car,he treated my car like it was his,very professional and made sure I got my car back the way I gave it to him. Unlike other dealers who I had to go to and all ai got was bad attitude and classless service. I am sold on Glen cove Land Rover and now all my friends will be future customers! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart especially to Jon. Keep up the great job and hope to see you as a manager.
Our experience with Land Rover Glen Cove is probably one of the worst we’ve ever had. After my husband & I took an appointment with the sales agent Charles - we arrived for our test drives. After an initial introduction and going over some of the concerns we had, Charles let us get on with our test drives with both the Range Rover Sport & the Range Rover. Since the keys weren’t provided and were assured the car would stay running, within 7-10 mins, the car went off into autostop in one of the bylanes. We called Charles to let him know and it took him 30 minutes to come restart the vehicle. Anyway, we went back and finished test driving the other car figuring it was just a mistake (could happen to anyone). But what happened after was very disappointing. Charles was supposed to email us the inventory of cars available with the features we were looking for by the next day. We never received it. And after multiple attempts to reach him over the next week, and leaving several voicemails on both his office and personal phone - he never got back to us. Not even as a courtesy. Not an email, a call, or text. The most pathetic customer service for a company that regards itself so highly. I shudder to think if it was because of our ethnicity, or if we just didn’t fit into his idea of a buyer. Either way, left a sour taste in our mouths. We went to another dealer where we received exceptional service, and were able to purchase the exact vehicle we were looking for.
My experience working with Land Rover Glen Cove has very good. All credit goes to the superb and caring service provided by my sales executive BILL JAMES. This was my first time getting into the Range Rover. Since I had been driving MB S/550 Sedan, Before getting a test drive Bill explained to me every thing about the Range Rover Sport model and suggested to go for only essential packages suitable without spending extra money. There was no push for sales. He got me the Exterior and Interior color of my choice. When my existing MB lease was coming up I visited him, he went to his manager to get me the best possible deal which I could not get from any other dealership in the Tri State. He is very knowledgeable, caring and gentle Sales person. If you are in market for Land Rover cars, you must visit this dealership and work with Bill James only.You will not regret. Thank you Bill. I could not be happier with my 2021 Range Rover Sport SVR carbón fiber edition!!!! Charlie And Giovanni were super helpful and made the whole experience so pleasant and smooth. I have to thank Ray the pre-owned manager as well!!! I traded in my Mercedes Benz S63 AMG and Ray was extremely fair on the trade value! I highly recommend Jaguar Land Rover of Glen Cove to anyone that’s in the market.

After a nightmare trying to get a Range Rover HSE sport dynamic in NJ. I went online and found one at Land Rover of Glen Cove. Jason Kule made the experience seamless and pretty much effortless. Gio was amazing helping me out learning what each and every button did and how to use the tech. 10 out of 10, would recommend this dealership in a heart beat.

Was in recently for two recalls on my Rover and dealt with Paul K. Ive been there in the past but my experience with Paul was awesome. He was very polite and helpful. Needed a few other items addressed and he sent me a detailed list of what was needed. Had the work done and was given a loaner for the weekend. Great customer service. Thank you Paul !
Joe was amazing. We did everything via email. Joe sent me a detailed video of my car since i did not see it when we made the deal;. He answered all of my questions immediately. He called me back within minutes of me leaving a message. I will recommend him to anyone looking for a land rover.
My wife and I have been exclusive to Range Rover Land Rover vehicles for many years. Generally we purchase ours in Manhattan but decided to drive to Glen Cove even though they are closed on Sundays. Always good to window shop without the pressure of a sales person. This day there were landscapers blowing huge piles of leaves into the street and when I attempted to go around them they just continued to blow leaves directly at our car. Perhaps management may want to supervise the cleaning of the property, and not allow this to happen to potential customers. Such a shame, looked like a nice place otherwise.
I had a very great experience purchasing my second vehicle from Land Rover Glen Cove! My sales guide Matt Thomas was very attentive to my needs transitioning from my 2016 Sport to 2020 Sport. Matt took the time to go through my paper work, concerns, and made sure I was comfortable with my new purchase. The delivery specialist Jio made sure to explain all of my upgrade options and technology changes between the model years.Amazing and friendly staff in sales and service! An awful experience that I wouldnt wish on anyone. Unclear communication from their reps and overpriced services. You should absolutely AVOID this place.We sent one of our companys vehicle for service. The next day, their representative calls telling us the services that they need to perform on the car. We told them to email EVERYTHING that needs to be done itemized to our email which they did. We got the quote, the office approved and they repaired the car.We go to pay, and theres another previous bill that wasnt included in the estimate that we agreed upon. As you can see from the screenshot, their rep Liana, clearly said Ive attached the breakdown of the work required for your vehicle, not mentioning that this quote was additional work. Even when we talked with her over the phone, we always referred to her estimate, and it was never implied that there was another bill on top of it. We felt this was unprofessional on their side.Not sure if it was done on purpose or not, it just didnt feel right. They claimed that we were told about that invoice which is not true. The email exchange disproves it and they refused to check the records of the phone calls between us and Liana where we explicitly asked her to send ALL the services they plan to perform on the car.Other things to consider: their prices are heavily inflated, their parts are marked up probably twice, their labor marked up way too much as well. If you send your car to this place, youre OVERPAYING and wasting money. On top of that, you may end up dealing with reps that confuse you with the pricing.Bottom line, the whole ordeal felt very unprofessional, dishonest, and the services are absolutely overpriced. Youll be ripped off here. I absolutely dont recommend this place.
I am very happy with glen cove range rover dealership. They are courteous, considerate and very professional. I like the fact that they are prompt and ready at my appointment, They handle my drop off and pick up smoothly since I am usually running in between work activities. They text and email updates on my car so I can respond when I am available. They make the whole process positive and easy. Sheena is great! I recommend them wholheartedly!

I own an independent repair facility in Central New York. Ive been in business for 35 years. The local dealer didnt have the power steering hoses in stock that i needed and told me that Glen Cove Land Rover did. I needed the hoses ASAP. I called Glen Coves parts department and was fortunate to get Curtis on the phone. He said that their computer showed the parts in stock and he would go and see if he could put his hands on them. When he came back to the phone he said that even though he showed both in stock, he could only find one. At this point 90% of the parts people that I have dealt with would have left it at that and said we can order them for you. Instead, from the background conversations I could hear, these guys were really trying to help me. Not only did they look for and find the other hose, they dropped the parts off at Fedex after I was late in getting them my account info in time for the UPS cutoff. This is the first time that I have done business with Glen Cove Land Rover and these parts were not high dollar items. Also, I have never been a fan of doing reviews. This time was an exception. Disgusting dealership. They treat you like trash. You will sign a contract between you and the salesperson, they will run your credit you agree on the terms and monthly lease price and then one hour prior to pickup they decide to pull away some incentive that could no longer be honored at there discretion of course. God forbid you question the sales people or manger or ask to speak to corporate you will get mistreated just as I did. Stay away from this place. I was instructed by a friend and by corporate that if that’s the way they do business then run away from that place. One would only assume that a contract signed by both parties would be a binding contract but not at Glen Cove
I had a horrible service experience. Melanie gave me a quote for $1,600 to replace ALL rubber coolant hoses including the oil coolant hose which I mentioned specifically because that was the hose that was leaking. After I had my car towed there, I was told by Cynthia that the oil coolant hose was not included in the quote and it would be an additional $750 to replace that one hose. Nine hoses for $1,600 and one hose for $750? How does that make sense. I ended up just replacing that one hose instead of all of them as I planned. I wasnt gonna pay $2,900 which would have been for the nine hoses + the oil coolant hose and a battery issue. Never again!
I got my jaguar from Huntington, but since Glen cove is closer to my place, I switched the service to here. During my 5 visits for the last 2 years, never got treated well except Stan. He is the best rep Ive ever met on JLR. The rest, they need to get trained again. No employees treat the customer in that manner. I felt like they were annoyed for my visit. And after 3days of my last visit, I had to call to see what was going on with my car. No updates. Very frustrated. Huntington is much better in everyway.
Ive contacted SO MANY LAND ROVER DEALERSHIPS. Glen Cove won me over with excellent customer service and an awesome deal on my New Jag. I live an hour plus away in NJ but felt like this dealership was worth the long trip. Brian Tuz helped me find the perfect car. Hes super helpful and so patient. He answered all of my annoying questions. Him and Matt Thomas went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. They even DELIVERED MY CAR TO NJ!! I have had my Land Rover for seven years and it has been continuously maintained by Land Rover of Glen Cove. The service has always been first rate. Most recently I brought my vehicle in for routine service and to have it prepared for an upcoming trip. Service Advisor, Melanie C, could not have been more professional or diligent.I was so satisfied with the thoroughness the service (and the performance of my vehicle) that I placed and order for a new vehicle that I was considering, based in part on my service experience.
I took my father’s vehicle here to get serviced. I had a waiter appointment but then had to leave. Before my daughter picked me up I had to collect some things from my fathers Range Rover. I was walked into a shop with what appeared to be dirt floors. The shop had barley any light, and the floor was flooded. Where was I! No way could this be the service department of a luxury brand. Needless to say I will never bring his vehicle back here.
I just leased the 2019 Discovery HSE and the car is awesome! The team at Land Rover Glen Cove was amazing and made the process so easy and enjoyable. We dealt with THE WORST customer service with Glen Cove land rover every single time. When trying to schedule a service appointment. Either put on hold for more than 10 minutes or was transfer all over the whole department. When we leave messages with advisor, we WILL never get a call back, and we had to constantly chase her/him. I can’t not believe for a car this price; you would think customer service is GOOD. We were NEVER treated like this when we owned a Benz.When we were the on 10/29/14, we had to end up writing to Mr. Anthony Caligione.To whom it may concern: Yesterday we had an appointment and were advised it would be an 1 ½ to a 2 hour wait if we decided to wait. We chose that option and after 2 ½ hours I was told to go outside and the car will be ready shortly it is being washed. After waiting outside 20 minutes I asked “where is my car “. The gentlemen said “it hasn’t been washed yet”. I had to run to work. So I had to take the car and it was filthy. This is my first range rover and potentially my last as I feel the service is not up to par to what I am use to. In the past we had Mercedes and although we really prefer range rovers we thus far enjoyed their service a lot better. Yesterday was an incredibly frustrating day and I hope this never happens to us again in the future.

Kristine explained the different features and upgrades done to the 2020 Range Rover Evoque and walked us through every important detail!Once we settled on the car, we had a tight budget to work with, but Kristine did everything she could to make sure we ended up at that budget! We truly appreciated her hard work and efforts throughout the whole LONG process! Kristine personally delivered the car to us since we couldnt drive it off the lot that day. Geo, the technical person who came with her, walked us through the sophisticated touch screen features. I had a wonderful experience at Land Rover Glen Cove. It started from the initial contact with Ellie who then passed my information to Danny Cruz. I can not say enough great things about the service Danny provided. He was attentive, on top of the everything and thorough. The service Danny provided is the main reason why I chose to purchase my vehicle through LRGC. I had visited another dealership close to home which left me with a bad taste in my mouth, not only for service but for the brand. I traveled over 2 hours just to have Danny help me! I initially spoke with him over the phone and explained what I was looking for, he told me about the car that wasnt even for sale yet and was in their prep department. He took photos for me and sent me all of the details on the vehicle. I put a deposit down to secure the car until I could get to Long Island. Danny was patient with me even with my arrival time 1 hour before closing. Both Danny and Brian made the delivery of my vehicle smooth and easy (including Danny coming in on his day off)! Large inventory and very nice people. Kristina was a pleasure... it took only a few easy minutes to negotiate and finalize a good and fair deal. I returned a couple of hours later to relinquish my old LR4 and pick up a beautifully presented new Range Rover Sport. Moments later I was driving it home. Quick, fair and easy.
Had a flat in a road trip and came in on a temporary spare in need of a new tire. Called ahead and they had the tire in stock so I figured it’d be a quicker stop than it turned out to be. My vehicle was brought back within 10 minutes. After an hour I was informed about the front brakes being low which I self-identify the service. I waited for another hour before asking about the progress. Was then told they were just finishing up the wash (if I had known ahead of time I would have opted out of the wash). Went back to their only waiting room for another 30 minutes before asking again, was told that my car has been done and they’ve been looking for me. They did have my sell and I promise I wasn’t hiding. The also visually low spare tire air pressure was not check so I’ll fill it before I need it again.
Jio was the gentleman that helped show me how to use the features on my new Range Rover.Jio was very patient going over each and every feature. I am old school which means my technical abilities are limited to say the least. When I first got in the car it was like a spaceship and by the time Jio went over everything I understood almost everything. If I ever have any more questions I would not hesitate at all contacting Jio
I had very good experience on my first visit, Charles was a great help and offered me a great deal . But on my second day there things has changed , Charles wasn’t there in the morning when I was ready to purchase the vehicle , it was my fault for not calling him ahead of time . Somebody else was helping me and everything started to go down hill. The price of the car went up more than $4K compared to the offer I received from Charles ,without anyone notice me . I was promised to get apple CarPlay software update as a fix to my screen issue and window scratch removal on the second day and no one has called . I am more than disappointed.*update* I have received a call from the dealership to address the CarPlay and window scratch issues for free as promised . I’m happy with that so I bumped up the rating by one star . And sir , I have not mistaken anything or offer on the car , because I actually write down different offer on different cars on the notebook I brought with me . But it’s ok , at least I like the car very much and enjoyed it so far, we will see each other again and I will update my experience with your dealership. Thank you for replying me tho .
The WORST customer service.Its mind boggling how the Land Rover Glen Coves service departmentreps can be so lazy, unconcerned, ignore, unapologetic and set asidetheir customers in this economy!Taking off the morning to bring my car in to remove a nail in thetire, replace tire valve caps and check the handle on passenger door,i PATIENTLY waited over 3 hours.Going into the 4th hour, the service rep notified me that the delay ofservices was because i had NO warranty on the car. Almost having aheart attack, I declined the services and wanted my car back so icould return to work on time. I immediately called the ManhattanDealership where i purchased the vehicle, within a minute, theyinformed me that i have an active warranty. I then explained this tothe Glen Cove rep and they said: OH SORRY, you DO have coverage.They offered me a car wash that would onlytake 20 min, since i waited four hours, why not.30 minutes later, waiting outside for my car, an employee said the guyjust got back from lunch, do you still want your car washed?Not sure who i should of punched in the face,I jumped in my neglected car, never to return to Glen Cove the rest of my life!This is a reflection of the owner of this establishment, shame on you!

I was disappointed that my vehicle was not washed, when that is the usual routine when your vehicle is serviced. I brought my vehicle in for the annual at 11000 servicing, but service indicator was set to alert in another 5000 miles, instead of the next service interval. A recall was supposed to be installed for the radio. The recall was not installed, and instead, a note was on the receipt which stated it could be downloaded over the data. So I basically just received an oil change.
The best car buying experience I have ever had. Kristina, the sales person, was knowledgeable, attentive and professional. The process was easy and Matt explained all the car options. Excellent service and they have gained my business and recommendations for all my future purchases.
I have been a loyal Land rover customer for more than 6 years, but recently i had the most nightmare with this dealer and range rover in general. my 2016 ranger rover HSE breakdown in the middle of road, and i towed back to the dealer for repair after phone call with service line that my car is under warranty. first of all, it comes as a shock to know my 4 year old 90k car has engine failure beyond repairable. Then when the car reaches dealership, they told me the car is 4000 miles out of warranty coverage although it is still within 5 year period. after contact the ranger rover corporate about my difficulty, they refer me to contact one of their division that might offer help. the case manager made me to spend 400 diagnostic charge and wait for over a month before she can tell me no and need to close the case. when i finally have no choice to tow my car back, the dealership is charging me hundreds of dollars of storage. i really love my range rover when i first get it. but now, it become a nightmare
Without question the best customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased a vehicle from Matt at Glen Cove in November and it was a great experience. Unfortunately I was in an accident and had to purchase another vehicle in July. Matt made what is typically and arduous process simple. With all the games and tricks and back and forth typically associated with buying a car, Glen Cove Land Rover and Matt will restore your faith in humanity.
Less than two months ago I got my brand new Velar. So far discovered few issues that forced me to send it back for repair (twice!).Despite the assurance from the salesman that the car is free of issues they were coming almost every day. I knew Velar have some problems but the salesman confirm me, that the latest software supposed to be on my car, fixed all the problems. Well there was no update installed and the first problem appears on the next day following few other issues.Last time I send my car was something major, they decided to change the computer in it.My car was in the service couple of days. At some point I decided to check my Dash camera.This is my second review since the manager of the place called me, explaining that the issue I had with Service Department was according with there rules, and I was mistaken. Nevertheless, I decided on their favour not to mention that.Unfortunately my camera record something I cant let it go! LR is not a cheap brand and I believe they should really take care of theirs customers and the vehicles. And yet they washed the car in the worst possible way! With the BROOM! Yes with a broom, there was a man who scrubbed the entire car with a broom. Since the manager decided to respond to my review and mention that they HAND WASH all the cars, thats fine but the way they did that and improper tools they using for that purpose is shameful ! for that location. The management should provide employees with proper equipment for that type of work.During the last two months I own this car and I had no need to wash it. This was the first time. My entire car especially the glossy black panels - because of the broom, are completely scratched and cover with swirls.I spend few hours polishing with the machine whole car by myself.Recent experience with LR of Glen Cove just upsets me since I work very hard for this car.
They dont like brown people!! My husband was checking out a sport car and a older white man forced himself between my husband and the car then leaned on it so he couldnt look at the inside of the car. took our car in for service not only did they keep it for a month they scratched and dented the doors and bumper. Forget about the loaner situation and the valet guys are the worst especially George. Make sure you dont go on a day thats raining. They will leave you standing in the rain for at least 5 minutes even after they say the loaner or your car is ready. I had Stacy (valet manager) size me up, laugh and said nothing is available take what we have or thats it. I went there with a range but left with something half its size. I am sorry I purchase the vehicle I should have leased. My husband took our car for service and Devin the service manager demanded we take the review down when my husband refused Devin gave him back our car and said we should go elsewhere! I definitely will!
The Car has been great in the NY winter, very pleased with the service we received. The Delivery Specialist, Leslie, was so helpful. She showed us how to use the many many features of the car and taught us how to use a bunch of features we ever would have known existed... amazing service!
Usually I don’t write review, But this dealer is bad at service/unprofessional. I have been there for few time past years. Let’s get to the point every time when I called them for some questions regarding the car service or something simple, they will told me someone will call me back in the same day and guess what nobody ever calls me back. It happened all 5 times of my calls in 4 years.Please don’t get me wrong, I love the car it self but because the way this dealer treats me I’m questioning switch to another brand.
Surely the engine and mechanical features of a vehicle are very important and I am happy to report that I am more than pleased with the drive of my now five month old Discovery.My review primarily deals with two non mechanical features and how Land Rover Glen Cove handled them. First was a seat cushion that I accidentally put a small tear in that was expertly fixed at no cost to me ...5 stars for that!! Second, concerns my not being a techie and needing assistance (several times) with the many hi tech features in the car. This is where Leslie Andino-Mendez shines and earns another five stars for the dealership...she welcomes you with a happy smile, cheerfully corrects the issue, and makes the visit more than pleasant...5 stars for that!!!
I purchased pre-owned Range Rover from Land Rover of Glen Cove several months ago and just recently noticed that the wheel lock key was missing. When I arrived at the dealership yesterday unsure of what their response would be but expecting the worst, the Service Manager (Devin) went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer still by not only replacing my wheel lock without question or hesitation, but also replacing the entire set of lugs within a matter of minutes. As a Service Manager he could have very easily said sorry not our problem ...but instead Devin single handedly earned my respect and my future business as I will certainly be coming back to Land Rover of Glen Cove for my next purchase.

I bought my first Rover, an LR4, from this dealer. This one and the one in Huntington are owned by the same people and I got about a $30/month better deal here for some reason. Miles were excessive and so I went back to them before the end of the lease term and they gladly took it back and we leased a Rover Sport. Great. I could have gotten a 36 month lease for about $50/month less than the deal I took. :The salesman specifically told me that, even though the deal with Chase Bank is $50/month more and the term is 42 instead of 36 months, its better for me in the end. The reason being that Chase is very liberal in terms of returning a car early. I would be able to come back in about a year early and there wouldnt be an issue switching the car out. Im about 32 months into my 42 month lease and the car has 42,000 miles on it. Ive reached my limit so its time to turn it in. My wife drives the car and decided that she liked the look of the new Discovery and she wants to go back to a larger third row vehicle. We went back to the dealership and met with the same salesman who had previously assured me that there would be no issue and lo and behold, that was a bunch of salesman nonsense. Two months earlier, my wife was parked and seated in her car and someone pulling out of a spot behind her gave her a small sideswipe, about $5000 in damage, all cosmetic, nothing mechanical whatsoever. I was told sorry. The vehicle depreciated by $10,000 due to that occurrence and if I just walked in off the street, I could get a no money down deal on the Discovery for about $1000/month but now it would be $1,300/month if I put down about $5,000. I said what happened to what you told me? and there was a blank stair and a gee Im sorry. Now, you may say that its my doing since I had an accident. However, accidents arent an unpredictable thing in this part of the world and the salesman never offered me a caveat when he made his pitch as to why I should go with a more expensive, longer lease. So, now Im stuck with the car for the full 42 months, contrary to what I was assured in the beginning. Im going to owe about $4,000 in extra mileage charges and probably have to drive the car for about 2 months while its out of warranty and my wife cant get what she wants unless I want to take a $12,000 hit instead of just a $4,000 hit and Im not willing to do that. I suspect that the dealership and the salesman make a lot more money on a deal with Chase than with the other bank that would have done the leasing for me. Had I taken the 36 month deal with the cheaper monthly payment, I would be returning the car before it came out of warranty even if I couldnt return it earlier (which Im pretty sure I still couldve done) than 36 months and my extra miles would have been the same. Furthermore, I would have went to return it early and that would have of course been prior to the accident and there would have been no issue. The point here is that they were all smiles and giving me wonderful advice that in the end wasnt only flawed, it was really, in my view, a bunch of nonsense salesman talk to get me to do the deal that was better for them than for me. The upshot is that now Ill keep the car til the end and hope for the best during the time period its out of warranty and Ill give them their $4,000 mileage and they can eat the depreciation. Then I wont be beholden to Rover at all and maybe my wife will want to take a look at some of their competitors products. If she chooses to stay with Rover, Ill go to the new dealer on the south shore (and Im hoping their not affiliated) because Ive learned my lessons from this dealership. Even more unsavory was that the salesman told me about how worried he would be for me to drive the car out of warranty and to extend it is about $4,000, and when you add that to $4,000 in mileage, its not much more than doing his new deal, so I should really consider going for the new car even if I was going to pay $1,300+/month for it (about as much as my S550 Mercedes). Sickening really.
I have to tip my hat to Ray Bontemps and the team at LR Glen Cove. I recently bought a car from the Team and 2 months into it a couple of problems came up (they wouldnt have been aware of it when they had it). I made a call into the dealership, Ray took my call and made sure the positive experience I had when buying the car, was carried through to the resolution of the problems. He responded and communicated the whole way through and made sure everything was good. A big THANKs to Ray and the team over at LR of Glen Cove.
Purchased an Evoque that was sold to me as new (it had been a service loaner, I knew it had 1,000 miles on it) two years ago. The sales people were nice and overall it went really well...or so I thought. Fast forward forward and a couple weeks ago and I tried to trade the car in. I was told by a different dealer that the car had been in a major accident and was worth $5,000 less than it normally would be. I had never been in an accident with it but come to find the car had been in a major accident when it was a loaner car. I called Land Rover Glen Cove in hopes that they would rectify this and long story short they most certainly did not. They tried to ignore me, they didnt return emails and phone calls. After a week of trying and several calls the dealer finally made me a trade in offer... for less than the lowest trade in valuation on KBB. I got the General Manager on the phone and she never apologized, she said the original sales person probably never knew about the accident which is laughable. She only offered an additional $500 to match the absolute lowest trade in valuation, still $2,500 less than what the car is worth on KBB and $3,000 less what I owe on it. Honestly if they would just have given me a fair trade in, at this point I would accept it, let alone actually do the right thing by a customer whom they sold a new car that had been crashed. Im sure most people at the dealer are good people but I just got treated like a number, a profit margin and not a real person, let alone how anyone would expect to be treated at a luxury car dealer. Ive had better experiences at Honda. I really liked my car but Im sad to say that this ruins me from ever purchasing a Range Rover again (let alone Land Rover Glen Cove), since this is how they treat their customers.

The service and professionalism of the staff was outstanding. My repairs were handled quickly and follow up was good. Based on my last two service experiences, the actual repairs have gotten an little sloppy but I cannot fault the service advisors for that. The QC process after the vehicle has been repaired needs improvement. However, and again, the courtesy of the staff is top notch.
PEOPLE BEWARE OF THIS LANDROVER GLENCOVE! I have my car there to repair. The service advisor Melanie sent me the proposal and price after the service manager Eric and she have inspected the damages Surprise surprise, without my consent they have more things fixed on my car and now holding it hostage until I pay.the amount which is different from a bit more than 3k to now more than 9kI told them yet my car insurance paid for the estimated damages but I ONLY agreed to let Landrover take care those were proposed and I have agreed to because their service is bottom of the line, unprofessional and extensive delay for services, no returning phone calls and nasty emails. I have asked many itemize bill but never get one. This is unacceptable for a supposed high end car dealer. DO NOT BUY OR GO TO THEM FOR YOUR CAR REPAIR PLEASE.Just wanted to add more of the worse services that LR Glen Cove did; Today 07/28/2017 after almost 2 months my car was holding hostage for more payment, I went to pick up my car as my attorney and their agreed with the terms. Again surprise,surprise - my car bumper has the noticeable scratch, the cars both left and right weather strips have damages! Although, I have called yesterday to the service manager Eric Howard and indicated that I wanted my car to be inspected before it would release to me but obviously inspection was not done. He harassed me when i mentioned these defects to him. He should not be there if he does not want to serve customers in a professional manner. My experience at Range Rover Glen Cove was just what I expected. I walked in and was greeted immediately, sat down and started my leasing car experience. Jason Kule was my salesman and was polite, helpful and I made the deal with him and his financial manager in a matter of about an hour. This is my first Evoque and I will most likely stay with Range Rover. I am enjoying my 2018 RR Evoque very much. I Love it!!!!!Thank you Jason.

Amazing and fast service. My sales man was Bill Suvatey. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He sat with us and took the time to understand what we needed and found the perfect car for us. I changed a few preferences along the way but he was always able to accommodate that request with the utmost patience. If your going to buy a car go to Bill Suvatey. Recently I had my break job done cost of $2100 and it was shocking. I have a LR4 2013 model. Do not get me wrong I love Land Rover and this is my third one since 2003. I had a LR3 before this one. LR4 has all kinds of new warning system to tell you even if you have low tire pressure. But surprisingly no warnings for your brakes. I had to stop my car one day on the road after getting a bad noise coming out of the back. I immediately noticed that brake pads are completely gone and eating the rotor.I dont know if this is an intentional trick of the company to suck the blood out of their loyal clients. I took my LR4 to a local mechanic whom I know for a while. He gave me an estimate of $775.00 with genuine LR parts and labor. Its a shame that Land Rover company is making dishonest money just by not putting a sensor for the brakes.
Was not greeted by assigned representative for service. Did not conduct walk thru to ensure customer satisfaction. Did not feel well recieved and did not feel that my service needs where held as a priority. Transaction for payment was very quick and efforts to get me my vehicle and get me out was quick as well.
If I could give zero stars for the way they treat customers I would. Their customer service is awful. I have left several messages for Matthew and the sales manager and they do not return calls. I am totally disappointed. Once I am done with my lease I will never do business with them again. I would advise anyone who wants to lease a vehicle to go somewhere else. With all the money I am paying I should not be treated this way. Awful
All I can say is sehr gut While no service is ever perfect. Land Rover Glen bends over backwards 99.9% of the time to really satisfy and work with their customer from the sales process through years of good service. With the complexity of new cars, they may not get it right the first time, but they get it right, and really work hard to do it.

Where to begin?! I went there with my wife to look at the cars they had and their leasing program. As we walked in, we were assigned a salesman who actually asked us if we can afford these cars!!! We took it as a joke and continued looking at the cars. We eventually decided on a car and ask for a test drive. The gentleman who was helping my wife and I, was not too knowledgable about the car we were test driving. I kept saying that the car has no powers while driving and he did not realize that the snow traction was on! I mean we were going 25-30 miles an hour top speed on a major road, the car could not go any faster.When the time came for negotiations, he gave me a ridiculous monthly payment of $950/month with $5000 down on a $65,000 car!!! I mentioned to him that similar cars with the same price range are much lower in payment. I mentioned to him that I have a Mercedes E300 which is a $72,000 car and I pay $630/month with nothing down with 7500 Mikes per year for 3 years. I also mentioned my quote from Lexus next door to them. At that point he blasted the Lexus company and what kind of a garbage car they give to people. Very unprofessional! I told him you wont bring Land Rover up by bad mouthing other cars, and we left.For weeks after, they kept calling me and emailing to reduce or restructure the monthly lease, as they have promotion now. Sent an email to their manager, explaining what happened as I mentioned above, I dont believe he ever responded back!
I call the parts department this morning a little arfer 10:00 am to get a qoute for some part for my Ranger Rover and the sales person was very Ignorant, rude and disrespectful. He accused me of stealing my car! Telling me that my truck does not belong to me and is registered to European country. So I told the parts guy if thats the case then1) How did I register my truck in NYS2) How was I able to buy parts from you guys before3) I bought it from the Manhattan dealer years ago.He clearly have some underlining issues that need to be addressed because they are going to lose a lot of customers namely me. Then to add insult to injury. I ask that Idiot to put on his manager on the phone and he left me holding for almost 43 minutes. I found his behavior to utterly disrespectful and unprofessional.P.S.Im still waiting for his manager to call me.
Land Rover is Horrible! I have personally only dealt with land rover of glen cove, and Land Rovers corporate head courters. But what i can tell you is that all the talk you always hear about land rovers breaking down OFTEN and not being reliable is VERY true. The company itself also does not stand behind their cars.I myself own a Range Rover Sport Autobiography edition. (MY VEHICLE WAS IN THE LAND ROVER GLEN COVE SHOP FOR A TOTAL OF OVER 100 DAYS OVER A 3 YEAR LEASE) Since i have had the car (2011 brand new) the suspension has had numerous issues and had to go into the shop. Sometimes only weeks after getting back out of the shop. The transmission also has been having problems for the past 2 years, yet land rover cant seem to find the problem, so that is still ongoing. Had a problem where something in my engine was loudly knocking the entire time i would drive, and i was told i would have to wait two weeks for them to have room for me to bring in the car. I argued and they allowed me to bring it within a day or so.Even had an issue where once when i picked up my vehicle from land rovers service, my sunroof wouldnt open. We found out this was because my roof got dented while being in land rovers shop. At first land rover refused to fix the damages until the BBB got involved.My point here is, if you decide to buy a land rover, be prepared for all the extra expenses you will incur as they overcharge you EXTREMELY on every service or anything done to the car. Also be prepared to get one of the many FAULTY CARS land rover sells people and have to bring it back in for repairs constantly (in which case you will probably wind up driving around in a loaner car (if they even give you one at all) for a decent amount of the time you own/lease the vehicle, worth much less then the car you are paying for.Oh and most of all, be prepared to NOT BE a valued customer. I clearly am not considering they still have me in a vehicle that constantly breaks down and wont do anything about it. Horrible company with a horrible customer satisfaction.
Land Rover of Glen Cove cant get one star from me. I had a navigation problem with my 2011 range rover sport, It was in the dealer ship for three months. They couldnt find the problem and they act like it was my fault. They dont return phone calls or emails. It was the worst experience i had at a dealer ship. I will never buy a car from them again. They gave me the run around that you wouldnt believe.
Send in 2015 evoque because battery issues, spoke to the representative the battery looks need to be replaced, service agents told need to run battery charging system test and that will be labor charge cost $284.99. After they test out, told me tons of things need to fix, of cause there’s include of battery replacement will cost $563.87 additional (originally battery so expensive, but they are original, right?) ok, I agreed. Guess what? They send me invoice, there’s two labor charge, one is for test battery and charging system cost $284.99, another one is for test new battery and charging system cost another $284.99 and plus $278.88 for new battery. Call the agent and ask why there’s two labor charges of battery issue, he told the first $284.99 is for testing old battery, another $284.99 is for put new battery and test.Come on, testing the charging system twice? Before the new battery put on and after?Also I checked with other Range Rover dealers, they stated replacing battery already included of cleaning batteries terminals, put new battery and testing charging system.
Unfortunately after years of good service and buying 4 trucks from this dealership I would never buy another car and possibly not another Range Rover. I bought a brand new sport an 85k vehicle, it appeared to have defective leather on the drivers side front seat. It looked like a worn 10 year old car. The dealership attempted to rectify the situation w a new seat that looked just as bad. After numerous calls, visitation to the dealership and many empty promises. They elected to never call me back to try to fix the situation. Am I asking to much, after buying a brand new 85k car to have to look at worn, wrinkled leather seat every time i get into my car??
I was at this dealership 8/29/2018 afternoon and felt that Im being taken advantage of, first off on their website they have various white exterior/black interior discovery SE but I was told theres only 1 white with acorn/light oyster. Their lease rates are no where near what their website quoted and the bs about if you change around the numbers or higher or lower the down payment then the algorithms will change. I just leased a Porsche and Im very familiar with the works of leasing a vehicle, when asked about the money factor I was first told triple 015 then it became double 0175 so which bs is it, if Glen Cove want my business have someone get back to me with some realistic numbers. Also my brother has a lease vehicle from glen cove I will strongly advise him to go else where after his lease is up in 2/2019.Today 8/30/2018 the sales lady called me and had the audacity to hang up on me while I’m still talking. She continue to try to over talk me without giving me a chance to speak now I firmly believe all the 1 star comments are genuine and the more than 1 star comments are questionable.
I believe the service was excellent and needs no improving. Leslie, a woman who came to my house and helped me to understand the car was phenomenal. She was nothing but nice and helpful, she really helped me to know the car better and I really enjoyed working with her!
For starters I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership and its employees. The minute I walked in, it was nothing but pleasurable. What I really liked was the fact that there was no pressure. All my questions were answered adequately and once I made my decision it was a breeze. I have to thank Vince, he was incredibly helpful and made me feel at ease. He took the time to explain every little detail about my new car and was even nice enough to keep in touch afterwards to make sure everything was ok and to see if I needed any help. What can I say about Land Rover Glen Cove that I havent been saying for the 20+ years I have been a Range Rover owner. It is not just the the luxuriousness of the car that keeps me coming back, it is without a doubt the service department and Mary Barylski that makes my service checkups a breeze. There have been times when a problem may arise with my car and I can call over and LITERALLY within moments they have arranged for either a loaner or someone to come get me where as my husband who owns a car from another dealer, will sit for weeks before he can get an appointment. Its ALL ABOUT THE SERVICE and Land Rover Glen Cove gives the best and thats why when having had the choice, I have driven nothing but Range Rovers and will continue to.
Purchased my 2016 Rangrover this year it was supposed to be certified pre owned. 2 days later, the brakes were making noise and the windshield wipers werent working properly. I bright the car back in and was told I needed brakes, rotors, and windshield wipers. This is totally unacceptable for a vehicle that supposed to have been serviced when purchased. 300 miles later, brought it in to have tire light checked, and found trick needed 4 new tires. I had to pay for 4 tires when again this vehicles tires should have been changed Before I left dealer. 300 miles does not wear out tires. As this is my 3rd Rangrover, I will not be returning to this dealer for future purchase. This is not the way to treat customers who are paying for such an expensive vehicle that should have been completely service from the beginning!!
For years I have dealt with LRGC. I always get the most professional advise. When I take my RRS in for service they always review and let me know what the issues are if any. They always work with me on any repairs that needed even if I cannot do it all the same day. A loaner car is offered if the work cannot be done with the few hours specified. In most cases I would take the loaner car. I like my RRS running at peak performance and it has been because of LRGC.I have always had excellent customer service from whomever I dealt with when I take my RRS in. I do believe the Service Team at LRGC is excellent and knowledgable.I am on my second Range Rover and LRGC had always done the service on both of them. Most importantly if any repairs/parts are needed they always check the warranty to see if its cover. That, by itself is customer service, because most places will not even check to see if the repairs/parts are covered under warranty unless you asked.Overall, my experiences with LRGC is excellent and from where I am I cannot rate them other them 5 Stars. Keep up the Good Work LRGC!!
I had a SIGNED contract to lease a Range Rover here. Before I picked it up, the salesperson called me and said he couldnt honor the price any more, and I needed to pay extra. Reminder- I had a signed contract already. Who does business like this!?!? I went to Manhattan and they gave me an even better deal. Glad I didnt get ripped off here.
I have gone to LLGC since 2005. They always have every part I need in stock, which is the best. My favorite service advisor is Sheena. She knows everything about range rovers, and is both honest and realistic when giving me service advice. I would not take my range rover anywhere else!
My adviser was Paul and he was great. Actually everyone that helped me were great. Went in to have an extra key made and Paul saw that I had 5 Recalls so he gave me a loaner car and took care of my free service, recalls as well as having my extra key made. Great place to get a car!
Worst dealer experience and I have owned over 12 luxury cars . Bought the 2018 velar here major defect including No Ac dash balckout etc . Service Mgr Devin call after 3rd visit and said to me “you are lucky you are not driving a mercedes.” Arrogant GM Dawn also lied and snobish over phone , returned car with no fuel and no wash. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE !

This is our experience with Range Rover Glen Cove.We contacted the dealership and performed the entire transaction from out of state, and I can promise you we could not be happier at how everything transpired. From the initial phone call, to the picking the Evoque, to the delivery, it was so easy and low stress. The team at Range Rover Glen Cove went out of their way to answer all of our questions, and were exceptionally responsive to any and all of our concerns. I cannot express how thankful we are to them. This was by far amazing.Would like to give a special shout out to Brian & Kevin. However, I did end up purchasing a very nice Range Rover from them, and after a conversation with their senior leadership, they have resolved all of my concerns and restored my faith in Glen Cove as a luxury dealership. In the end, they do ensure that their customers are taken care of in the right way.

He truly was my eyes on the ground and made sure my online view wasnt a bad thing. 2022-05-22We went to Jaguar Land Rover Glen Cove to buy our third truck. Our prior vehicles were new so our expectations may not have been accurate, but we were not expecting the numerous errors and attitude from management that we encountered when buying a used vehicle here. The purchase paperwork listed the incorrect CPO status and price. Only two of the three repair items requested and agreed upon were finished and the vehicle was not properly cleaned. Their lack of attention to even the simplest details (buffing out minor scratches, wiping the dust off the dashboard and putting caps on the tires) raised concerns over the quality of the vehicle we were purchasing which had been sold and always serviced at this location. We reviewed the errors with the pre-owned manager and were offered a delayed delivery so they could fix the problems or a 2% discount to accept the vehicle as is. This was the final confirmation we needed to walk away and never return.

2022-05-14Anthony Vitale was by far the most disrespectful sales associate I have ever encountered. As he is taking us outside for a vehicle view, he tells us to wait, only to return with a cigarette in hand. Then without even asking if he can smoke in front of me, he begins doing so, blowing smoke my way with no regard to the fact that I might be pregnant or cannot inhale cigarette smoke. I am not sure if all the sales associates are this way at this location, but customer service and professionalism are definitely lacking. I will NEVER go to this location to purchase a vehicle.

2022-04-30Just Picked up a 2022 Range Rover Sport SVR. This is my sixth Range Rover and 2nd SVR. All six have been either leased or purchased at Land Rover Glen Cove and all from sales person Danny Cruz. I could not be happier with the service I have received. Danny and the rest of the staff have always done anything they could to accommodate my needs. Danny is not only dedicated to getting me in the SUV I want, he is also always available to help with any service needs throughout my ownership. I will be back in the next few weeks to order number seven for my wife.
