I have yet to be in store but have used this flower market for several occasions. Every single time, they were polite, accommodating, reasonable pricing and most important the arrangements were literally stunning! Extremely satisfied with the service! Ill be a customer forever!
Without a doubt this is the spot when you need the perfect arrangement to impress. Bonus, the shop dog Colt 45 is the best!
Im west coast-based and, unfortunately, not the best at arranging for birthday flowers for my Albany relatives in advance. I called to see if I could get flowers delivered today even though I missed the delivery cutoff and they came through! Beautiful arrangement as well that matched just about exactly what I had in mind (despite my not-exactly-helpful input, like I dont know, something spring-like) and a solid value. Great experience start to finish!
I could write a small book about this place but I’ll spare the words and just show the level on which they stand. Here’s a small bit of a response from the owner who was unhappy that I shared my option with her regarding her business cancelling my daughters wedding, 4 weeks prior to the event. I’ve never reviewed a business because I feel it’s unfair but this went above and beyond and people need to know how they are. Not one word she wrote is true. We have all email exchanges prior to her cancelling. Please think before you book
Ive always loved the flowers Ive purchased and received from here and the service has usually been helpful and friendly; however last night really changed my view of this place.I saw the sign out front indicating the location is moving this week as well as the posted hours, giving me more than enough time to make a purchase before closing. I didnt feel at all welcome as the worker was, although understandably, frantically moving things around the shop and pouring out buckets of water, etc. Due to her disinterest in excusing herself out of my view of the flowers I was trying to look at, as well as her general demeanor, I honestly almost walked out. But I had intentions all day of purchasing flowers, so thats what I was going to do.Im not sure if I did something to offend this girl but she really put a sour taste in my mouth for the rest of the evening. Her seemingly sarcastic tone and responses made me feel like I was doing something wrong or wrong for being there ; when I had Specifically made the decision to come to the Lark Street Flower Market instead of going to Price Chopper.Lastly, I found it interesting that I had Just had a conversation less than one going before going to the Flower Market last night about how nice the employees are and they deserve the tips in their jar; reminding myself to sure I had a few singles to leave in the jar. Im not sure that Ill be a customer again but I just hope this employee receives some coaching or training on how to speak to customers, even if she has other tasks that may require her attention. I apologize for the length of this review but it honestly ruined my night, after a really long day.

The associate on the phone was wonderful, she was very profession and had a sense of humor which made the purchasing process quick and easy. The quality of the delivered flowers was fantastic and my special someone was not only shocked by the delivery but was delighted as well.I will use the Flower Market again, and I would recommend them to anyone who has a special occasion or a thinking of you moment.Thank you!!!!

This beautiful spot on lark street has moved up the road and is right by a lovely little wood carving shop called YAMAGUCHI (which I will have a review of as well shortly)I have been buying flowers here for my mommy and my sister, best friends since I was a wee 10 years old...They have treated me with nothing less than JUST love since the first day I stepped foot in...they also have wonderful advice for care and trimming as well as many gift options...They support local artiststhey are involved in alot of my cities charitable organizationsYour dog is allowed in and will be offered a treat at first sight!With love,Kat
Stopped in this morning for the 2 dozen cash and carry deal. Picked out 2 dozen beautiful roses, the woman behind the counter arranged them for me, and I went to pay but all I had was credit. The woman took my card anyway even though it was supposed to be a cash deal. Very nice of her. I will definitely stop here again!!!!
The flowers sent to my mom for Mothers Day were fresh and beautiful. I gave the staff just a few guidelines and they ran with them and made a gorgeous arrangement. Wonderful people to do business with!

Have seen the flowers come through my office for years where I had to finally ask where did you get those.......they always stood out from the rest of the flowers others would get. I called today to place my first order...just a wonderful conversation with the manager, excellent service provided and much appreciation for the feedback I gave as to what I have witnessed the past few Valentines Days.
Lark Street Flower Market did an AMAZING job on the flowers for my wedding on 9.13.2019.As one of the brides, I wanted a simple rainbow rose bouquet with ferns -- it was Breath-taking!For my bridesmaids they assembled the most beautiful bouquets of wild flowers that complimented my bouquet nicely.For my bridesmen and other family, we went with boutonnieres with or without ribbons (for men and women).And finally, LSFM was able to provide me with several bunches of premium leather leaf ferns that I used to decorate at the reception around my centerpieces and as general table accent.I did not have any other flowers as decoration for the wedding and I think that was a good idea -- the bouquets and boutonnieres were Perfect and all that we needed :)
They have an unconventional way of doing things in that you can name your price, and they will create something wonderful with your budget. Last year I ordered flowers for a funeral; one brother and one uncle arrangement. I had a budget of $60 and $40, respectively, fearing that it wouldnt be enough for something befitting the occasion. Boy, was I surprised when I got to the funeral home and saw the amazing flowers they put together for me. Nowhere else can you get such large and beautiful arrangements for that price. They only deliver within Albany, but I have picked up flowers and brought them to other places myself, no big deal. They rock.
Got beautiful roses from my daughter on Mothers day, 3 days ago. As of yesterday the roses are dead. I cut the ends off and put them in a large vase with water immediately on Mothers day. I called Lark Street Flower Market today and it is their policy to not give refund or replace because flowers are perishable and they cant prove I took care of them. My policy is to NOT shop at Lark Street Flower Market Inc. anymore.
Best place in Albany for flowers. I used to order all my arrangements from when I used to live there and still do for friends and family living in Albany. Amazing customer service and great quality without breaking the bank
OK for fast pick up. Alas with nothing special Market 32 has great selection fresher flowers for home arrangements. But any actual business trying to maintain Lark Street is worth supporting.
Walked into the shop looking for a smallish vase and some flowers. There were a small selection of flowers. Was met with little to no help. There were vases in the size I wanted but was only offered the larger size. When I asked about the smaller ones I was told they were dirty. Would have offered to buy and clean it myself but decided to leave because of what I felt was an unwillingness to help and an attitude from the sales woman. Wont be going back.

I called and spoke with a woman who took my information on when my wedding would be, she said i have nothing scheduled for that far out as in her schedule was clear for my wedding date; I gave her my name and phone number. We set up a date for a week or so later to meet and talk about what i would like for my wedding. I have a 1yr old that I have to take with me, I showed up on time and when I walked in the place was almost empty. There were barely any flowers out at all. She took put a binder and asked me for my information again writing it down and asked me again when my wedding date is ( what happened to all of that information the first time i gave it to her?) I told her May 12, 2018, she walkes to look at her cell phone and says I have to check something, because if its mothers day weekend I cant do it. I replied yes its the day before.. she says oh sorry we cant do it...Now of she would have told me that on the phone when i called the first time i wouldnt have cared but to wait until i get there. To drive all the way there with my 1yr old who hates the car to begin with and waste my entire morning thinking im going to have this meeting and i barley got in the door and get turned down. If she took my information the first time she could have called me and told me not to come. Poor customer service.

2022-02-13So happy that this neighborhood has such a great flower shop!I hadnt planned to buy flowers this weekend but considering its Valentines Day tomorrow, I figured its the perfect time to do so.They had tons of roses and at a reasonable price considering the holiday weekend. They also had quick grab-n-go items for V-Day: table-top gift box roses, gift bags w/ flowers, and stuffed animals.I believe they had around 7 or 8 different kinds of pre-bundled flowers ranging from $16.99 to $29.99. They also have other flowers to choose from to make your own bouquet. I saw flowers Id never seen before like their pure white irises...beautiful!The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable. Great selection.

2022-02-04Nervous about getting flowers. Went in and bought the 3 for $18 flowers and a 5.99 vase. The wonderful lady behind the counter made it into a gorgeous bouquet on the left of the photo and and wrapped the Anastasias to the right! Theyre not called that but theyre just as beautiful as one can imagine! Total was only $24, youll have my business when treated like that! Thank you!

2020-06-19When my father passed away, it was a very stressful time for everyone in my family.Maryanne and her staff took care of all the floral arrangements so that I did not have to concern myself with that particular detail.The arrangements were beautiful and very tasteful - a worthy send off for my dad who was a very respected figure in our community.The detailed professionalism by Lark Street Flower Market during a time of need was greatly appreciated. The timely delivery of all the flower and the compassion in which they handled our requirements was second to none.The pricing was substantially less than that offered by the funeral home and everyone was very pleased with the flowers.If you have any floral needs for any occasion, I would recommend that you stop by Lark Street Flower Market - you will not be disappointed.

2021-04-22I called Lark St Flower Market from out of state because I received good news from family in Albany and wanted to send congratulation flowers. I chose them because of location and good reviews.The manager I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and nice and she made certain the delivery would arrive the same day.I received a photo of the flowers after they were delivered and I am beyond thrilled.They are so fresh and beautiful and beautifully designed that I want to tell all of Albany to shop at Lark St Flower Market.I wish I could give this business an extra star!

2022-01-26Best flower shop in Albany, bar none! Been there many times through the years, so glad they survived the forced move. Big and beautiful selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very fair prices, I wont say cheap, you definitely get what you pay for. Cant ask for more.
