The food tasted great however I ended up with food poisoning that night Im sure the pasta and stuff is ok but I dont recommend getting the prime rib the staff could try to be a little more professional also and not talk bad about other employees in front of customers. Other than that it was ok
The house dressing changed and is aweful and tastes like mustard. I no longer live in Auburn so I used to have family bring it to me during the holidays or buy it by the case when I come into town. Please change the recipe back!
Cool decor--supper club ish.. friendly staff, food B+. Baked scrod was excellent. Sausage had no fennel or red pepper. Salad had no imagination. Crowded with 6(unbelievable) birthday tables and had to hear the song each time
Always have a great meal when I go. The food is pretty reasonably priced for how nice the establishment is and how well the food is prepared. Usually for a couple of drinks and 2 meals runs us between $70-$120, depending on how much we feel like treating ourselves.
Never had a bad meal here. The delmonico is prime beef and delicious. Wife had tail and prime rib. The split tail is huge. She ate half the tail and about 1/4 of rib. We both left totally satisfied. Our server Jenn was on the money and very pleasant. Great evening.

Call and make your reservations ahead because this place is packed and with good reason. The food is fresh, interesting and delicious. The portions dare you to finish your plate. Bring a cooler in your car to take the leftovers back home. Save room for dessert and expresso. Excellent service 👏. Worthy of the drive to see them.
Very expensive and feels upidy, but amazing food, and for the average cost of going out to eat its actually not that bad. A great place for a special occasion, or just in the mood for fine dining.

We ordered for take-out and had some special requests, which they accommodated with no problem at all. In addition, knowing our other meals were vegetarian, they made sure the garlic bread came with vegetarian sauce although that is not the norm. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Beware -- portion sizes are very large.
Fantastic service. The calimari is the best Ive ever had not by the ocean. A huge serving..excellent sauce on the side.Excellent pork chop & veal parmesan. We love their sweet italian housemade salad dressing!
We had a big group in for a rehearsal dinner and it was perfect. The service was quick and efficient. They were polite and friendly. The food was amazing!

Our waitress Amanda was outstanding and really set a positive tone. 👏. However the place was crowded and even though our party were all vaccinated it was a little awkward wondering if everyone was. The portions are large, one order of scallops had 15 on the dish, never seen that before, usually get 4 at most. Other orders were the Delmonico steak, good but did have a fair amount of grizzled parts. Last item Chicken Lasca was really good. Its a nice place, could use more ambience, very dark rooms.
This was our first time here. My friend and I pick this place just by chance. It is half way between our homes.To start with the warm tomato oil dipping sauce with the warm dinner rolls were so good, I could have just had that for dinner. I had the delmonico steak, which was very good and cooked perfectly. My wife had veal parm. The portion size was enormous! She said it was very good, delicious. My friends wife had a pasta trip, which was lasagna, ravioli, penne, and capellini. Her serving could have been split between the 4 of us! She said everything was fantastic. Sauce had a great flavor. My friend had seafood platter, which again was so big it could have fed all 4 of us. Lots of large shrimp, scallops, haddock served over a huge serving of capellini. The servers were very accommodating and attentive. We are thinking this may be a permanent meeting place for dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Excellent food and plenty of it ! I dont mind spending a little more for this level of quality in food and service. I had their antipasto as my meal. Large enough that I ate half and brought the rest home and ate it the next day. One of the best restaurants in the area !
My husband and I come to Lascas every Birthday and our Anniversary. We have never had a bad experience. We like the table by the kitchen. It is great for 2 and we love the smell of the food cooking. The waitresses and waiters are so pleasant and usually come and check on us to see if we need anything. The food..WOW..outstanding..We always get the Prime Rib and Australian lobster tail. Always take half home because we fill up on bread and the sauce they bring with it. Finonimal! (Sp) . The restaurant is clean and inviting. The bar drinks are very good and made to order..I highly recommend this restaurant....

We were there for my son’s birthday last evening. The waitress went over and beyond taking care of all eight of us. She was efficient and so pleasant. Dinner was awesome.

Amazing food, large portions, friendly staff, and a wonderful atmosphere make for an enjoyable dining experience!If anyone needs recommendations, the cheese ravioli or the chicken parmesan are both amazing and are my favorites. Theres lots of options to choose from to meet everyones needs!
Dinner was incredible and our waiter Carl is top notch. He is a great asset to your restaurant customer service is very important to me.
We made reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. The hostess was very nice and our server was over to ask for drink orders very quickly. The food was excellent, the portions were huge(boxes were needed by 5 out of 6 of us) and our server was fun but professional all evening. Highly recommend and I will definitely go back!!!!
The food was cooked perfectly. The ribs and chicken fall off the bone. Cant wait to try the pulled pork. The homemade Mac and cheese was incredible
You never get a bad meal here and most of the time youre taking leftovers home because of the large portions.
Took my wife here for our anniversary, the food is so good... one of the best Caesar salads Ive had (homemade dressing). My steak was cooked to perfection, and the Crab legs were juicy and tender. I highly recommend this place... Not many more like it around.
Wanted to try something new and was recommended this place. Was not aware you needed reservations and was turned aware at the door. Drove from an hour away to be turned down because of no reservations. I guess I won’t be giving it a try.
Absolutely delicious food! I ordered the manicotti with cheese. Plenty to bring home too! Ordered a raspberry pomegranate martini which was super sweet & perfect! Had rolls that were soft & fresh with dipping sauce that had olive oil mixed in. Also had a Caesar salad with fantastic dressing. Service was prompt & the atmosphere was very relaxing.
Was told this was the best italian food in CNY. Yeah watered down sauce and buffet style ziti... olive garden works harder
The food was delicious and the service great. I had wine, chicken alfredo, and the peppermint ice cream dessert. All were amazing and worth the price. Lovely place to sit and chat with friends.

Lascas is a mainstay of Auburn and has been opened for decades. If youre looking for upscale Italian dining, this is the place to go in the area. They have great Chicken Riggies, Baked Scrod, and Eggplant Parmesan, just to name a few. The decor inside the place is a bit dated but its cozy and the wait staff has always been professional when Ive been here. Theres also a nice big bar if you have to wait for your table.Dont be afraid to grab some takeout - they specialize in to-go meals and theyre just as delicious as eating in house!
Always a great time with great food. Usually stick to our favorites that being the snow crab legs that are cut down lengthwise so you dont have to crack them open and filtered heated butter to dip in! Or the ever so mouth watering delicious prime rib. The pasta selection never disappoints. Good default is the seafood medley, heaven on a plate. Then dont even get me started on the desserts, you wont be unsatisfied. Usually have leftovers to nibble on the next day so thats always a plus as well. Highly recommended, casual attire, good amount of parking. Call ahead though or you may have to wait.
Wonderful family owned restaurant. Freshly made Italian fair with something for every palate. Great take out kitchen available as well. Prices are great considering the quality of the food and the dining experience usually found in far more expensive establishments
Our waitress was spot on. Very attentive and professional. Food was great, my husbands steak was cooked perfect and the lasagna had lots of flavor and served hot.
We had a family birthday dinner @ Lasca on the evening of 3/24 2018. I dont know the name of our server but he gave us outstanding service! He was very polite & knowledgeable in regards to any questions we had & he was very quick getting us anything we asked for! Our dinner was in their spacious banquet room. We had a very nice time & appreciate the excellent service of their employee.
Let me just start out with saying the food is delicious---I would give this place 5 stars if it werent for the waiting. We had made a reservation for 6:00PM; we didnt get a chance to sit down until 7:30PM, and not eat until after 8:00PM! Now, like I said, the food was great, so if you dont mind waiting (even after having a reservation) then this place is perfect.

Great for take out. Personal size frozen dinners. Big fresh salads and bread daily. Crowd size pizza and lasagna both frozen. Fresh to-go sauces for your pasta. Wonderful fresh dessert. I would recommend this shop if you are hungry but dont want to cook but want to eat good.
This was our first visit here and the food was excellent as well as the staff .We were seated after a short wait and we hadnt made reservations , but next time I will definitely remember to.We definitely left full and with leftovers.Cant wait to come back

Went out for a nice valentines dinner with some friends. We had the rudest waitress, (Kaylee) one of the guests at our table questioned his cut of meat with someone else’s. The waitress instead of trying to figure out how she could fix it was incredibly rude. We asked for a manager. A few moments later the owner comes running out because Kaylee lied and said we cursed at her. Thankfully the table next to us spoke up that we never did.Instead of apologizing the owner went back into the kitchen. No apology nothing.Absolutely appalled by the lack of good customer service.
Awesome food and service. around the back of restaurant you can pick up take out and get frozen entrees. they also sell large trays of their entrees if you wanted it for a family function or event. highly recommend the chicken piccata with rice

There were 6 in our party. I ordered egg plant, and it was a dish of mush. I ate a total of 6 bites of that and the spaghetti it came with, because I was starving , sauce was terrible, Too thick, no taste..The waitress was terrible. She ignored us, more than she waited on us. I have no idea why all these reviews are saying the food is excellent. Being Italian, I know what good Italian food should taste like, and this wasnt it..they are not an Italian restaurant.. Maybe the other food is ok, but not Italian...The only good thing about the whole experience is, we ate outside, it was a beautiful evening, the salad was good, and the desserts were excellent. Thats it...When the waitress came to our table ,finally, she asked if I wanted a container to take my left overs home, I came right out and said to her, no, because it was awful and the eggplant was a big blob of mush with tons of mozzarella cheese and sauce on it...She completely ignored what I said, and just took the plate,..so rude...Last time I will be going to Lascas. These positive reviews are kind of puzzling to me unless these are people who have never had a good Italian meal so this is all they know...Awful...
Great carryout. Food is just as good as what is served in dining room in restaurant. My husband and I picked out our preferences. You can buy fresh specials of the day, things to heat up at home and also frozen items for later. I especially like the baby greens salad among other things.

Service was a little slow at first but then they picked up their game and the food was outstanding so thats why Im only giving it 4 stars. The house salad dressing was delicious! Its service had started out as good as it finished I would have given it 5 stars.
Always love this place. Save room for dessert. There is nothing better on the planet than the Frozen Chocolate Almond Soufflle that was once served in the White House. I assume sometime in the 60s. Because I cant remember a time when I didnt get it! 😜

My family went to Lascas last night to celebrate my sons 27th birthday. We had 7 of us and when we got there, it wasnt busy which I assumed for a Wednesday. However we were told they couldnt accommodate us as they only have 2 large tables and both were occupied. She told us we would have to wait an hour until one of these tables emptied. I asked if she could put 2 tables together as I could see many were available and she declined. Im very disappointed in the lack of customer service - who turns away a table of 7 when you clearly have enough room to accommodate but dont want to take the time to put 2 tables together? Crazy! Now you lost a good paying customer!
I only go there for a special occasion, fathers day, mothers day, etc.The last two times I was there, I ordered Prime Rib. I was told that they were out of Prime Rib. Both times, on a special day!Thats it for me. Never going back. Ill go to the Deer Head on Cayuga Lake. They always have Prime Rib!

Both my daughter and wife have gluten and dairy allergies. Lascas has cooked several amazing meals for them. They have had chicken piccatta and more recently the delmonico steak. Being able to eat high quality food and not having to worry about cross contamination has been a god send.I ate the king cut prime rib and it was fantastic.Highly recommended, high quality food, and allergen friendly. All of that and the wait staff are fantastic too. As busy as they were, Meghan our server, treated us as if we were her only table. She took time to make sure the order was right and entertained my daughter.Cant say enough good things about Lascas. Thank you for a great night and meal!
My family and I absolutely love Lascas. They have delicious food and hefty portions. We always take home left overs and it is usually enough to have at least twice. I recommend their Chicken Parm. As appetizers go- the cheesy garlic bread and grilled jumbo shrimp are both fantastic. The desserts- wont even go there. To die for. And- if you dont want to have a sit down meal, try their take out. The quality of the take and bake items is just as great as in house items. The service is great and I love supporting locally owned and run businesses.

Im very picky about sauce when it comes to pasta. Lascas sauce is excellent. There menu has so many options and the portions are enormous. My only regret is that it took me this long to try this restaurant. A new favorite Italian restaurant for me!!!
The food is always of high quality. Serving sizes are perfect for the price you pay. Always leave full and satisfied. Staff is also very friendly and not stuffy.

I was overcharged at Lascas on NYE. When I called them today to straighten it out, they said that they have a special menu on NYE. They charge more for the regular items! Its not mentioned when ordering or changed on the menu. Bad business practice! They can keep their measly 6 dollars. I will never patronize them again!

My husband and I have been to Lascas many times and enjoyed the meals and the service. We decided to go there for our 50th anniversary and told the lady who took the reservations it was our 50th anniversary and she said perhaps they could do something special which was not my intention but we got there and had to wait several minutes to be seated . We had a very good waitress which was the best part of the meal but the food was substandard, especially for such a high quality restaurant. My lobster was tough and overcooked and the only thing offered was to cook me more. Why would I want more if it wasnt that good to begin with? When I got the bill I almost fainted as I have never paid that much for lobster anywhere and the fact it was so horrible made it inexcusable plus our baked potatoes were cold and my husbands filet was also tough. It was the worst meal I have ever had out and the cost was way too much. We have brought family and friends there from Florida and Colorado and always had great food in the past. Nothing was done or even mentioned about our anniversary which was not a problem but why say you are going to do something and then not even as much as say happy anniversary.

2022-01-05Spontaneous trip to Auburn ended in a great surprise! I ordered the special. I believe it was beef tenderloin with a Roquefort cream sauce, roasted potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Usually as a chef im disappointed when I eat out but not this time! Such a pleasant surprise. Wait staff were pleasant. My meal was a good sized portion, fresh, hot, and delicious. I will be visiting again.

2022-02-19My first time here since relocating to Auburn from the west coast. Perhaps my expectations were too high to start?Our server was friendly and mostly attentive. Restaurant itself seemed nice but untouched in decades. Dust filling the baseboard heaters that surround the perimeter of the dining rooms. Dust caked on the ceiling fans too. Dining tables and chairs seemingly original and rickety, not to mention uncomfortable.Menu options were extensive though very meat/seafood heavy with few to no options for vegetarians. Im not a vegetarian but now I know this wont be a good option for those of my friends and family who are. The menu doesnt look like its changed since they opened in the 80s and its much too long. This alone doesnt equate to fine dining.My partner and I both ordered a seafood platter that came with jumbo shrimp, sea scallops, and some sort of white fish (I dont remember if it was haddock or skrod) and though the quality of ingredients seemed fresh, EVERYTHING was overcooked, rubbery, and completely devoid of flavor. I was just so sad. What a waste of good ingredients. This place will likely die with the owners if they dont make updates all around. Something about this place feels trapped in the 80s though I suppose one can say that of most places in Auburn.

2022-07-16Usually stop for dinner as it has been our go to restaurant in Auburn. We stopped in as a walk in on a Wednesday night to find a good crowd. Lonnie our waitress was awsome. Everything was perfect and tasted fresh.Ceaser salad and the bone in rib with lobster tail and OMG ,the best ever. Yes we did take most of it home as it was to huge to eat it all.It was a perfect meal and very pleased that this restaurant has perfected quality for such a long time .The waiters and waitresses have been there for so long and that says alot.Always a pleasure. 2020-10-14I was part of a wedding party..10/10/20.. Service was great.. Food that we had 3 options from, was great.I picked the Delmonico steak. My first time there and I will be definitely trying again.. Yummy!
