Im getting really tired of attitude from the management office anytime I call for a maintenance issue. If Im paying you rent every month for certain amenities they should be taken care of especially if not working. We have never EVER paid rent late. Also the laundry rooms are disgusting and smell like mildew and machines are always broken. We cant wait until our lease is up in the spring.
Only two words to say Thin Walls. The apartments are nice and with very decent prices however the walls are very thin. Neighbors complain often and I can hear them as well. I went to visit a friend and he was a bit paranoid with the noise level. Im not sure if I could live where I couldnt be myself. Aside from this, parking is easy to find and the apartments are nice.
Ive lived here as a college student and I absolutely hate this place. I do not mind my neighbors however Management is absolutely horrible along with the maintenance.Ive been woken up to maintence swearing at (730 am mind you Im usually at the libaray until midnight - 1 am.) while renovating my upstairs neighbor apartment. I couldnt be happier to move out next month.
My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost 4 years coming up this December. The rent is affordable and the office and management goes above and beyond. If you ever have a problem they always fix it asap and follow up afterwards to make sure you are satisfied. The maintenance workers are also very nice and friendly. The apartments are spacious and clean. I honestly probably wont be moving out until we end up buying a home!!
Management was always on top of it, friendly, straightforward, and easy to reach. Their office hours were great and very flexible around a 9-5 Monday-Friday job. Unfortunately, in order to do laundry, I had to go outside to a different building which wasnt fun during the cold months. I also had a first floor apartment and I know the hard wood floors look lovely, but I could hear every single thing the person above me was doing... I mean everything. Overall it was nice, but not a permanent residence.
The sidewalks are cracked throughout the complex. That can be dangerous when walking at night, with no outdoor lighting.The sidewalks have been an issue for 5+ years. It is very dangerous and pieces are falling from the roof.
Horrible place to live! You hear your neighbors like they are in your apartment. If they smoke you can smell it through the walls. Susan in office is an unhappy, unpleasant person. Would not reccomend this apartment complex to anyone.
Sorry but this place is not worth 795 a month and its only going up, their very corporate managed and im still stuck, the maintenance crews are good workers, the woman in the office named sunny is easy to talk to and works with you.. but the head manager of the place is corporate type, is it quiet, yes but in my honest opinion to anybody looking for a place to live look at my review,, STAY AWAY FROM LATHAM VILLAGE.. its all of about the money with this place
I would not suggest anyone move to this place.I was about to become a tenant but there was way to much miscommunication. On the apartment complex end.And than they tried to Justify their miscommunication. By arguing with me.As I read through their lease and terms on agreement I started to feel more like I was moving into a prison then into a place that should be peaceful and comfortable.Theywent as far as to tell me what color garbage bag i can useThey made it a horrible experience and I dont think anyone should have to go through.
Nice and quiet place. But too old buildings. If something doesnt work it takes forever to fix it :(.
Management is unprofessional! Maintenance are drugies and thieves. They have no consideration for elderly and disabled tenants . Noisy and trashy....
Hardwood floors, gas stove/water/heat, well-kept grounds, and mostly quiet. I say mostly because my downstairs neighbors recently started having a regular visitor who talks so loud it sounds like hes in my apartment. It doesnt matter what room Im in. When I reported this to the management, their suggestion was to turn up my TV or music and drown them out. My other complaint is with the laundry facilities. All of the washers are super-sized, which is nice if you have a family but I am single (one of the selling points they used on me was that its a singles-friendly complex). I dont have enough clothes to do separate loads by color - I have to throw everything into one load. All of the dryers have only one time setting - an hour. Its either too much or not enough depending on how many clothes I put into it.
My friends apt was spacious and well maintained. Parking was convenient and well lit at night.
Today because management refuses to enforce parking for tenants versa visitors some really bad stuff could have happened. We recently decided we were going to settle in, but after this not so sure. The office manager didnt even have the professionalism to come and talk to me about what transpired, but she doesnt care she has an assigned parking spot. Shame on You!
The manager at this place is very rude very sarcastic never helps you out with anything that you need and they always have something smart and sarcastic to say to the residence the only thing they care about is themselves and the neighbors that we have are constantly playing loud music
Apartments are big staff needs a lesson in manners. They are argumentive,do not listen,do not care about people who live in apartments.

2021-02-21Mediocrity at its finest. The propertys location is its best selling point followed by large apartment size. Otherwise management is rude and expects the same from staff. Maintenance will often do the bare minimum when able. If you can afford to look elsewhere, its probably a good idea 💡 🙄☹

2020-01-06So my husband actually lived here when we were dating and from what I saw the experience was amazing. Everything was clean the staff made a point to know every one by name and really treat each person and situation individually the grounds crew was awesome everything was always up to par. The cost for the size was about average and everything worked well

2022-05-28Latham Village Apartments have been my home for five and one half years, now and I have never had cause to complain! Their Staff are professional, courteous and on time with maintenance! In fact, their Staff have made follow-up phone calls to check on satisfaction, which I appreciate. There are private entrances, porches and you are able to plant a beautiful garden outside your place! Their pet-friendly policy is the least expensive Ive seen, for apartment complexes, in this area. I think this will be home for a long time.

2020-12-04A relative lives here. The apartments and grounds are kept neat and clean. Always prompt and courteous service from all the staff there. Very pleasant and safe environment. Close to all stores and services you could need.

2019-09-10Have a family member that lives here. The apt isnt terrible but the maintenance isnt done right (shower issues that were just given a quick fix instead of just correctly fixing the problem.. so there is still a problem and water waste). As many others have said- office staff are rude, nosey, and petty (ie. staff member c/o a long time renter keeping their car in their personally registered handicap parking spot while away on vacation.... what else would they do with it?! No one else is supposed to park in that spot anyways). Renters beware

2019-05-30Management and office staff can often be rude, petty and disrespectful. Tenants who should be evicted or addressed are often tolerated. Maintenance is average, excluding those responsible for landscaping -- they should be fired! Sometimes paying more is worth it. 😕

2018-02-02Office management very unprofessional, i used deal with lady name Sunny but now there’s a new younger girl who sits upfront she’s very rude. They treat you like you living there for free/or public housing. Enough is enough. My lease will be up soon I can’t wait to get out of this place. Read more reviews please before you move in.

2016-10-14I normally never write reviews or pay attention to them,but this place was terrible, the people are very unprofessional. They dont tell you everything so if you do decide to go here ask every question possible and get everything in writing. It was the worst experience in looking for an apartment. If you say something they dont like they will hang up on you. They will try to get money from you anyway possible.

2017-11-21Bad management and rental office staff.they hate you no matter what, whether you have booked an appointment or youre a walk-in. They are not at all interested in showing you the apartments and will almost tell you that they dont want you taking the apartment. They have no respect for you as a future resident and its irrespective of your race.
